Nora had canceled her treatment because she thought it was all her anxiety attack. One day she woke up and felt awful.

"Frasier," she called out for her husband who was asleep next to her. "Frasier," she tried to be louder and nudged him even.

Frasier woke up and heard his wife's voice, "what is is darling?" he asked without even rolling over.

"I need my walker."

Frasier turned to his wife confused, "why?"

"I can feel that I'll need it."

"Do you need me to call the doctor?"

"No, let's see if I still feel like this tomorrow."

Frasier got up and retrieved his wife's walker. He helped her out of bed and made sure she was alright before letting go. Nora sat at the kitchen table while Frasier made breakfast.

"Grandma, what's that?" Lina asked when she saw her grandmother's walker.

"You okay?" Frederick asked concerned. He hadn't seen her use that in years.

"I'm just really tired for some reason," she answered her son, "and it's just something to help me walk," she told her granddaughter.

"I thought that's what your cane did?" Elie asked.

"Well, yes, but I needed a little bit more help today."

"You alright?" Dorothy asked when she walked into the kitchen with Sophia.

"She's just tired," Elie said.

Nora moved her walker to the side so that one of her granddaughters could climb up on her lap. It was Elie's turn to today. Nora reached over to lift her but was too tired to do so. "Are you sure you're alright?" Dorothy was worried about her daughter.

"Yeah, mom, I'm fine. Like I said, I'm tired."

"Mama, I can lift her up," Frederick said and placed his daughter on Nora's lap.

"Thank you," she whispered.

Once breakfast was ready, Frasier joined everyone at the table. He noticed his wife wasn't eating anything on her plate.

"Darling, would you like something else for breakfast?"

"No, thank you."

Once the girls were done, Meg took them into the living room to watch cartoons before returning to the kitchen.

"Nora, why aren't you eating?" Dorothy asked her daughter.

"I'm too tired," she answered.

"Do you want to go to the bedroom and I'll help you eat?" Frasier asked.

"Sure," Nora said. She tried to stand, but her body was too tired. The harder she tried the harder she shook.

"Nora," Dorothy got up and walked over to her daughter, "sweetheart, you need to sit down before you fall down." Nora wasn't so sure she wouldn't fall if she tried to sit.

"Ma," Frederick got up and had her sit for a moment, "take it easy. When you're ready I'll help you up."

The girls walked in a few minutes later, "Daddy, mommy, can we have some juice please?"

"Sure," Meg said as she went to get the juice.

"Can I get in on that juice?" Sophia asked.

"Of course," Meg smiled at the woman.

The girls noticed that their grandmother looked more tired than she had when they left only moments ago.

"Okay," Nora whispered. Frederick moved her walker to the side and crouched in front of her. Nora weakly put her arms around his neck while Frederick put his arms around her waist. Frederick then stood taking Nora with him. He held on tightly while she found her footing. When she was good Dorothy brought her walker back over to her and Frederick helped her steady herself with it.

"Dad, I'll walk her back to the bedroom," Frederick said. He and Nora slowly made their way down the hall and the young man helped her get into bed. Frasier then walked in to help her with breakfast. The girls had wandered down the hall and took a peek in their grandparents' room. They saw their grandfather feeding their grandmother.

"Darling, just rest in bed today," Frasier could be heard saying.

"Thank you," Nora said, "I don't know what happened."

"It's alright, I'm sure it's nothing. You might just need your treatment after all."

"Maybe," Nora responded, "I'm done, darling. Thank you," Nora told her husband.

"Are you able to reach for and pick up your phone from the nightstand?"

Nora tried, "I can't pick it up." Frasier placed the phone next to her on the bed closer to his side.

"If you need anything just let one of us know." Frasier kissed his wife and left her to rest.

Lina and Elie hid when their grandfather came out of the room so he wouldn't see them.

"What if grandma can't use her phone to call for help?" Lina asked her sister.

"We should watch her," Elie answered.

"If we do in the hall, we'll get in trouble."

Elie shrugged, "so let's go in with grandma."

Lina and Elie quietly snuck into their grandparents' room. They thought their grandmother hadn't noticed. "You don't have to hide girls," Nora said softly.

Both girls popped up and looked at Nora, "are you mad?" Lina asked.

"Of course not. Why would I be mad?"

"You supposed to rest," Elie answered.

"Climb on up," Nora simply said and her granddaughters did, "now why did you sneak in here?"

"We were afraid you wouldn't be able to use the phone for help. Wanted to watch you," Lina answered.

Nora hugged her granddaughters, "that's very sweet girls. I don't mind if you stay."

"There you are," Frederick said.

"I already told them that they could stay," Nora said, "they're worried I won't be able to use my phone if I need help."

"There's no point in arguing with you is there?"

"Was there ever?"

Frederick smiled and left the bedroom, but brought back tablets and a portable DVD player for the girls to play with or watch cartoons on. He just told them that they had to listen to grandma about the volume.

"What are you girls watching?" Nora asked.

"Is it too loud?" Lina asked.

"No, I was just curious," Nora smiled at her granddaughters.

"Scooby-Doo," Elie answered.

"That's what I thought. Your daddy loved watching that. Your aunts and uncles did too. Don't tell anyone, but grandpa I think enjoyed it the most."

The girls giggled at their grandmother's confession. Nora laid on her side and watched the show with the girls until they all three fell asleep. Frasier went to check on his wife and smiled at the sight before him. He waved Frederick and Meg over. They all took pictures on their phone of Nora and the girls asleep in bed with cartoons on.
