Welcome to another chapter of The light within the darkness! This is a mature story, so rated M. I do not own Final fantasy, Disney, Kingdom hearts, or anything in this story except Shi and the Naavle. While Olette belongs to Tatsuya Nomura, the idea and concept of Xolette belongs to Squidbaggerofwoomyness. The character Indrik belongs to Antex-The Legendary Zoroark. Also I feel the need to mention that they have become helpers too. For anything to do with their characters is discussed and put together. Some ideas and events that happen in the story wouldn't have happened if not for them helping me out and coming up with ideas as well. So thank you guys. I have to give credit where it's due and not all of this story is really JUST mine anymore. =)
Now I am open to accepting Oc's, however I can't promise them to be a main character. If you have a Oc you want featured in a world coming up I can do that, just message me the details and we can work something out. From the looks of how things are going, Sora and his group are going along the worlds still in search for King Mickey. Riku is still looking for Sora and Kairi himself while helping Maleficent. Xolette and Indrik have been doing the dirty work behind the scenes so far! The power of darkness is steadily growing, Shi herself is starting to have a harder time controlling the darkness within her.
Let's go!
Back at camp, everyone was very upset. Sora and Donald explained to Jane what had happened, Shi kept an eye on Clayton with Goofy. Jane began to yell. "How could you DO such a thing!?"
Clayton replied smoothly. "Now Miss Porter, as I told you I was not aiming at the gorilla."
She stepped forward. "You are not to go near the gorillas again!"
"All because of one mishap? Oh come now..." Clayton started, but stopped. Everyone in the tent was glaring at him now. Sora crossed his arms, Goofy was shaking his head, Donald had his arms crossed as well. Jane stood with her hands to her hips, Shi tilted her head with the expression of 'You really expect us to believe that?' He stepped backwards, then turned and left the tent knowing it was no use to try and argue in that moment.
Jane walked over to a bag in the corner of the tent and pulled out some fruit. Multiple bananas, some pineapple and a few tomatoes. Tarzan grabbed a banana and tomato, Jane then handed everyone a bit of each. "Might as well have some lunch, I found these in the forest while you were all out." She began eating some pineapple herself. Sora started taking huge bites, eating his tomato and banana as if he had been starving. It wasn't long before he started choking, and drank some water to wash it down making everyone laugh. Even Shi.
"Wow! So you CAN laugh and smile." Donald teased.
Shi turned her head and glared at Donald.
"Why do you wear all that stuff anyway Shi? Why cover your face?" Goofy asked.
"Because I'm an open book..." She thought to herself. "Because I can do what the fuck I want to do." She took a bite of pineapple, looking away.
"You never question a lady's look." Jane scolded softly.
BAM
Everyone jumped at the sound, the same sound that came from Clayton's gun earlier. It sounded as if it came from within camp, there was no other shots followed either. "Mr. Clayton?" Jane called out. No reply. Taking the last few bites of their food, Sora, Donald, Goofy, Shi, and Tarzan all left the tent. "Be careful everyone!"
Once outside, Clayton couldn't be seen or heard anywhere. Tarzan called out in his language. "HEH HOOOO!" Monkey looking heartless surrounded a gorilla! The group were quick to attack while the gorilla ran off to hide. Shi summoned her keyblade, struck it into the ground and skidded across the ground kicking one of the heartless square in the face. Donald cast his blizzard spells, Goofy rammed with his shield, and Sora started practicing the new move Shi showed. It was a great way to close in on the enemy from a distance without having to run to it. Each person had their own heartless, so it wasn't long before they were taken out. The gorilla came back out, and handed Sora what looked to be a gummi block.
"Another gummi block from the King!" Donald exclaimed.
"No denying he was here for sure." Shi commented. She looked around, no sign of Clayton. "Clayton isn't here yet he used his weapon on something. That isn't here either from the looks of it. If it were the heartless we just fought, he would be here too."
"Unless they took his heart." Goofy remarked.
"C'mon we gotta find him!" Sora said, marching forward through the bamboo thicket. The group didn't get far before they ran into more monkey heartless surrounding another gorilla. Tarzan charged the first heartless head on with his spear, while using his war cry. Goofy charged along with Tarzan with his shield, Sora attacked the other heartless. Tarzan was hit with a counter attack from the first heartless he charged. Donald held his staff out.
"Cure!" He yelled, a green aura surrounded Tarzan, the cut he had gotten just then disappeared. It was as if nothing happened, Tarzan continued to fight.
Shi focused her energy. From the last battle she felt a surge of power, it almost felt as if a level were gained or something. She closed her eyes, feeling the cold spread throughout her body. Cold, then freezing. It was so cold, she began to go numb with feeling. She opened her eyes and thrusted both her hands out.
"BLIZZAGA!" Ice blades shot out from Shi's hands along with snow flakes that shot through the air like ninja stars. Whatever the ice hit, froze that exact spot. Ground, bamboo, and heartless. With only one hit from the others, the heartless were taken out. Again they were gifted a gummi block from the Gorilla they saved."Hey...this actually looks like a piece from ours." Shi handed it to Goofy to look at.
"Yup it sure is!" He confirmed. Tarzen led the way to an area facing multiple cliff sides, more heartless surrounding yet another gorilla stood there. Again, they fought. Sora felt a surge of energy within him, he striked the heartless at hand and a sudden barrier shot out from his keyblade. A blast protecting Sora but injuring those in his way. It worked a lot like a shield.
Sora yelled in triumph as he took out most of the heartless with that last move. Again, another gummi block was given. Though this one was part of their own ship that had fallen off from impact. They still didn't find Clayton however. The group decided to backtrack back to camp and start climbing the vines heading to the tree house. Heartless after heartless, Gorilla after Gorilla saved. They still didn't find Clayton, and worst of all the jungle was just teeming with darkness like never before. Shi could smell it everywhere! Dark, moldy, powerful wet stench. It was almost suffocating. When they did reach the tree house eventually, on the ground was the very pipe Clayton smoked with. Suddenly the jaguar from before slashed Goofy's back. Screaming in pain he whirled around with his shield pushing the big cat back. Donald cast a cure spell while Sora charged forward with Tarzan to attack. Shi pulled Goofy aside to check his wounds quickly. Cure did stop the bleeding, but they were deep wounds still. Pulling out a potion she handed it to Goofy. It seemed less than a minute later the Jaguar was finally on the ground, its life leaving its eyes. Shi bent low and sniffed.
"Ewww what are you doing?" Donald asked.
"This cat reeks of darkness. It made no sense that it was attacking all four of us with it being alone. It isn't super skinny so it wasn't starving either. Someone made it do this." She picked up the pipe that was still on the ground.
"Jane. Danger." Tarzan looked out into the trees, jumping down into the vines below. With not much else to do, everyone followed Tarzan. Riding the vines down into camp, they walked into the tent. No one was inside. Leaving the tent, Tarzan was rushing away. With no real choice but to follow, Tarzan led everyone past the hippo's lagoon and back up the vines heading towards the tree house. When they reached near the top however, they were faced with heartless. Jane cried out.
"Tarzan!" She was hugging a gorilla, and was trapped behind some vines making a cage around them. It didn't take long to take out what little heartless there were, and to come free Jane with a simple fire spell to the vines. Jane was trembling. "Clayton came into the tent and that's the last thing I remember..."
"Clayton?" Sora and Shi looked at each other.
"Gorillas trapped, Terk ran." Tarzan said.
"We must help the gorillas!" Jane exclaimed.
"Tarzan, where would Terk and the other Gorillas run to?" Shi asked. Tarzan closed his eyes a moment before nodding his head and then running off. Everyone road the vines back down into camp. Even more of the monkey heartless stood in the way. Each person took out their own heartless. A spell here, regular good old smack there, it seemed the closer everyone got to the cliffs the more heartless appeared. Tarzan was heading to the waterfall, and to get there you needed to climb the cliffs. As soon as everyone reached the cliffside, Clayton was already aiming his gun at the group of gorillas cowering against the wall.
"NO!" Sora yelled. Clayton glanced over lazily, giving the gorillas just barely enough time to escape. "Clayton?" Sora asked.
"Not Clayton! Hee! Hoo hoo hah! Not Clayton!" Tarzan gasped. Clayton immediately aimed his gun then at Tarzan and the battle was on. Shi pushed Tarzan to the side as she then aimed a Blizzaga spell at Clayton. She could smell it much stronger now, darkness. Clayton was using the power of darkness, the heartless were following him for now. Donald and Goofy focused mainly on the heartless on the side, Tarzan fought with Clayton along with Sora and Shi. The fight was going fairly easy enough, almost too easy. Clayton backed away when suddenly the wall burst open. An invisible explosion, Tarzan ran forward and was suddenly sent flying. Clayton suddenly began floating in the air, and suddenly the battle was much harder. Clayton was riding something but it was invisible. Whatever it was, it was strong. Without being able to see it, it was impossible to tell dimensions. How far it's reach actually was, where was it even looking, beams of light shot out every once in a while with perfect aim. Didn't matter how fast you ran or how high you jumped, you were getting hit. It was easy enough when Clayton was on top of this thing, but when he was on the ground it was much harder. Sora was attacking head first along with Tarzan aiming for Clayton. Donald and Goofy still fought the heartless on the side, and that left the invisible foe to Shi. Shi was fast, while everyone else worked she seemed to dance around the field. She couldn't see her foe, so she employed the tactic of 'keep moving around like a fly on the wall.' She kept throwing her daggers until one stuck. Now just a floating dagger could be seen, and that was more than enough. She focused her mind within. Instead of focusing on blizzard, she tuned her energy to thunder. "Thundara!" She aimed at the floating dagger, the metal forming a perfect current of electricity. She jumped off walls, ran around the ground, Shi just kept moving. Moving even blindly was better than staying completely still and be a sitting duck. Shi continued to use her magic, even drinking an ether during battle. In the end, Clayton backed up and lifted his gun while panting. But behind him was the floating dagger, now color could be seen. Green, yellow, and black chameleon was there now. It's fatal wounds, the burns from the over abundance of thunder spells could be seen all across it's chest and belly. It collapsed on top of Clayton, engulfing his heart in the process.
Kerchak walked over when the battle was done, silently he looked at everyone then at Tarzan. He grabbed the collar of Sora's shirt, and suddenly threw him high into the air. He grabbed Donald, did the same. Then Goofy, and then Shi. Everyone landed on top of the cliffs, Tarzan climbed his way up to meet them. The waterfall could be seen in all it's glory, Tarzan said out loud "Home." He then led everyone into the cave by the waterfall, going deep inside and making their way slowly to the top they walked into a beautiful room with glowing butterflies all along a tree within the wall. They glowed a bright blue, illuminating everything. Along the trip, Jane had followed along as well. She stayed back and watched the battle, and slowly climbed her way up with Tarzan. He spoke again, gorilla. "Hee, hoo, hoo, hah."
"Is this your home? So that means..." Sora replied. Tarzan held up his hand for silence.
The waterfall could be heard clearly. "The waterfalls, they're echoing all the way here." Jane remarked.
"Hee, Hoo, hoo, hah. Friends there. See friends there." Tarzan said.
"Ooohhh now I get it. Hee, hoo, hoo, hah means heart. Friends in our hearts." Jane put together.
"H-Heart." Tarzan stammered out.
"Oh...so that's what he meant." Sora sighed.
"Friends. Same heart. Clayton, lose heart. No heart, no see friends. No heart, no friends." Tarzan said simply.
Donald began rubbing the back of his head along with Sora. "Sorry about what I said." Sora said first.
"I'm sorry too." Donald offered.
"Yeah all for one huh!?" Goofy chimed in happily.
Shi smiled. "About time you two."
"I'm sorry we didn't find your friends." Jane told Sora.
Sora just shook his head. "That's ok, we'll find them. I know it! Until then, we will just have to keep searching."
"We wish you luck on your way." Jane smiled.
The group made it back to the crashed gummi ship. Donald and Goofy were the lucky ones to crash with it, Shi and Sora were flung off. It wasn't really damaged either, any parts needing repairs were easy to do. It was getting very late, everyone was tired. Falling asleep was easy for everyone but Shi. Most nights she could block it out, but the emotions were strong tonight. Failure.
Shi was a failure. Couldn't save her own world, couldn't find the King, couldn't save Terra or Aqua or Ventus, couldn't save Ienzo. Others survived, Yuffie and Leon for example lived. Shi lived, but Ienzo didn't. Nor did Lea, or Isa, Even, no one. Ansem the wise didn't make it either, she couldn't save the one thing most dear to her. Ienzo was everything, the time they spent seemed so short. But all these years later, she can't get over it. Lately, the mark on her neck burned sometimes. His mark, the scar he left on her. She thought killing heartless would make it better, but over ten years later and things haven't changed. Maybe helping Sora would change things, but so far everything seems so far away. What was left after this? Find the King sure, go back to Master Yen Sid? For what then? To become a true keyblade master? "Do I even want that?" she questioned herself. Life felt empty, meaningless without him. Shi wrapped the blanket around herself tighter, hugging herself in fetal position. She wanted to roll into a tiny ball, and just disappear but no matter how small she made herself, she was always still there the next day.
Morning came, Shi got a few hours of sleep at the most. No one had talked about the day before yet, there was tension in the air still.
"Let's go to the next world guys!" Sora said happily while stretching.
"I'm driving." Donald said promptly.
"What!? No way!" Sora jumped in.
"I don't give a damn who drives, if you two cannot decide who will drive I will tie you BOTH to your chairs and neither one will ever pilot again." Shi glared at them.
"Let's just take turns fellas." Goofy offered trying to mediate the situation.
"My turn first then since Donald has been driving this whole time!"
"No way Sora!"
"I DON'T GIVE A FUCK DONALD, LET THE FUCKING KID DRIVE." Shi shouted. Quietly and quickly Sora got into the driver seat, Donald sat off to the side then Goofy sat down in his spot. Shi glanced around at everyone one more time before sitting down herself.
"What drew the heartless to that world?" A familiar male voice spoke, it was Hades himself. The blue flame above his head illuminating his face.
"The hunter lured them there." Maleficent said simply. "It was his lust for power that was the bait. But it seems the bait was too tasty for his own good."
Another voice laughed, almost a jolly deep laugh. "Yeah, he got CHOMPED instead!"
Another man stepped forward, long black robes with red and purple. A large black rounded turban hat, a mustache, and he carried a long golden snake staff. "A weak hearted fool like him stood no chance against the heartless." He walked closer to Maleficent. "But the boy is a problem, he found some of the key holes."
"Fear not." Maleficent replied. "It will take him ages to find the rest. Besides..." Upon the pedestal everyone stood by, suddenly Sora, Donald, Goofy and Shi could be seen walking along.
"Aye the brat I am not worried about! What of the woman with him? She uses a keyblade too." Another voice, this time from a man in red coat with a hook for a hand.
"Fear not, the darkness will take her eventually." Maleficent responded.
"And what of your new ones?" Hades asked curiously.
"The female will be tested and used to assist Jafar in grabbing the princess."
Jafar let out a loud laugh, "I won't need the help but thanks anyway."
"We are really low on items you guys..." Goofy brought up as everyone was debating where to go next.
"Back to Traverse Town then." Shi replied simply as she sat back in her seat and sighed.
"I got it!" Sora yelled happily as he took control of the ship. The movements were...jerky at first to say the least. It would take time before Sora honed his skills with navigating the gummi ship. Shi stood from her seat and she walked to the bedroom they all shared. The two simple bunk beds were against the wall, a simple desk the other wall. Shi glanced at the desk, then the full body mirror. Her black knee boots were scuffed a bit, but still in good condition. Her purple tube top would need to be replaced as it now had some holes in it. Her black scarf was still in good condition along with the black dress underneath the purple top that was crossed at her neck. Her gloves were so-so, . she refilled her brown pouch with the throwing daggers she had left. She definitely would need to get more in town, as well as possibly invest in some ethers from here on out. The enemy was getting stronger, and so was the use for magic being more needed. They had not run into the King, or Sora's friends at all. She was sure the King was still alive somewhere, even though it was years late Xehanort was still alive somewhere out there she knew it. Shi wouldn't rest until he was dead, his reign of terror finally at an end. Her heart sunk in her chest as she thought about Ienzo again. "Goddamnit...just when I think I may have gotten over it." She angerly wiped some tears away.
"Are you ok Shi?" Goofy was at the doorway, offering a tissue as he walked in.
Shi hesitated before grabbing it then using it. "Thanks Goofy...yeah I'm fine."
"We don't know much about you Shi, but I know you are a good person. Donald isn't so sure, Sora is just confused but I know you are good! But...you don't talk to us." He told her.
"My words aren't for your ears."
"But for the King? We serve him too ya know." He responded.
"A fair point." Shi conceded after a minute. She was ashamed truth be told, she failed. The only mission she ever had, she couldn't even do! And many people have suffered from that failure, people she loved as well as many strangers yet to even suffer from the consequences of that failure. She couldn't tell them, not yet. She wasn't even sure what was to happen from all this. What was Xehanort goal? Just for everything to return to darkness? There had to be more, there were many pieces at play many she knew that weren't even on the board yet. This was a massive game of chess, they were all pawns. Was the King even out yet? Was Xehanort the center of everything? She closed her eyes. "I mostly don't know all the details myself Goofy. I don't know what everything means, what the enemy even truly wants."
"The heartless?" He asked.
"That...among other things." She sighed. "I don't know, one day will be the time for my words. But that day is not here yet, you'll be the first to know though." She offered.
"I'll hold you to it!" Goofy held out his hand, looking at her expectantly.
She looked at his hand, then slowly shook it. "Alright Goofy, you are the first to know." She said simply, he nodded.
"I'm sorry about whatever you are upset about." He offered simply and he stood just as the ship jerked for a moment. He cried out in surprised. "Yaaaahoooooohooooo! Don't kill us Sora!" He shouted as he ran out of the room.
"Sorry!" Sora yelled as the ship jerked again.
Shi shook her head with a small smile.
It wasn't long before everyone reached Traverse town. The first store was the item shop where they restocked on potions, ethers, as well as throwing daggers for Shi's collection. She tried to make it a habit to collect her thrown objects but heartless had a nasty habit of disappearing with her weapons. They dropped by the large house in the second district with all the puppies they had gathered on their adventure thus far. The parents of the puppies seemed very happy but still worried for their other babies. Just how many puppies did they need to find? Shi pondered as Sora opened the gift they offered him. There were multiple big rounded heartless and the smaller magic casting flying ones all around the square. Yuffie in the first district had told the group Leon and Aerith were in the secret place in the alleyway of the second district. After entering the alleyway and taking out the heartless within, Shi noticed a red trinity mark on the ground in the waterway. Sora, donald, and goofy all bumped into the bars full force where the trinity was making an opening. They entered the waterway and made their way to Leon practicing his strikes with his gunblade. He glanced over, then smiled softly at Shi.
"Hey you guys. So you found a key hole yet?" He asked.
Sora nodded. "Uh huh! We found two! Our keyblades locked them automatically. "
"Good." Aerith responded.
"Every world among the stars has a keyhole." Leon said. "And each one leads to the heart of that world. There must be one in this town as well...though Shi and I have never found it."
"What do you mean?" Sora asked.
"It was in Ansem's report, every world has a keyhole which leads to the heart of that world. Even yours had one too." Aerith replied.
"The heartless enter through the keyhole and do something to the core." Leon said gravely.
"W-what happens to the world then?" Sora asked.
Shi shook her head. "In the end it disappears Sora."
"What!?" All three Sora, Donald, and Goofy exclaimed.
"My world is gone. And if you saw the end of yours, your world is most likely gone too Sora."
"That's why the keyblades are so important." Leon said.
"Please continue to lock the keyholes!" Aerith smiled. "We believe you can do it. In fact you are the only ones that can."
"I don't know..." Sora looked down.
"Seeing other worlds would serve you well." Leon offered.
"Especially if you want to find your friends." Shi reminded. She hated using the boy like this, she hated lieing. But, he really was one of the only few people in all the worlds that can do this task. The king, Shi, and Sora.
"Yeah!" Donald added in.
"That's right, we gotta find everyone!" Goofy exclaimed.
"I guess you're right..." Sora sighed then smiled. "Okay!"
"Hey let's go to see Cid, I want to see if there are any better daggers I could be using." Shi asked as everyone left the secret waterway.
"Sure no problem!" Sora began running ahead, full of energy as always. Shi walked calmly as Donald and Goofy chased along. They had taken out the heartless earlier and none had respawned yet. For the first time in a while, it seemed like things were calming down. Shi didn't mind the calm at all, it was refreshing. They soon reached the first district and walked into the weapons accessory shop.
"Hey what'cha got there?" Cid asked. Sora had already pulled out the gummi blocks along with everything else in their inventory and was ready to badger Cid all about it when he picked the blocks up first. "Well if it ain't a gummi block."
"Yup!" Sora nodded happily.
"What's this one for?" Goofy asked.
"You're kidding me!" Cid was shocked. These damn kids flying around space knowing nothing about what they're even doing! "You're flying a gummi ship and you don't know nothing about navigation gummies? Bunch of pinheads! Interspace ain't no playground!"
"There's a lot we don't know so what!?" Sora held out his keyblade. "We have to use the gummi ship it's not like we have a choice!"
"Whoa easy...I didn't know okay? No hard feelings? Well I guess I can lend you all a hand then."
"Thank you Cid." Shi smiled at him.
"Basically with navigation gummis, you can go to new places. You want one on your ship right?" Everyone nodded. "Then I'll install it for you, but I got this thing I gotta deliver first."
"What do you need to deliver?" Sora asked.
"Just this book." Cid pulled out a old battered children's book. "It's real old, when the guy brought it in it was falling apart. Too beat up to restore it the way it was, but over all I did a pretty decent job just putting it back together. Anyway do you mind delivering it for me?" He asked. "It's the old house past the Third district. Look for the big fire sign." He handed the book over when suddenly a loud clang was heard and a slight vibration was sent throughout the districts. The gizmo bell rung again.
"What was that!?" Sora cried out.
"The Gizmo shop." Shi looked at the clock on the wall. "It normally doesn't ring at this time..."
"Just a bell did that?" Donald asked in disbelief.
"Check it out if you guys want, but deliver that book first!" He scolded.
They left the shop and headed straight to the third district. Taking out the heartless that spawned in the area, everyone spread out in different directions to look for a fire sign. Donald then called everyone over to a large dark brown door with a giant fire emblem emblazoned upon it. "The only fire thing I saw was this, but...I can't open it!"
Goofy looked for a handle, Sora put his finger under his chin in thought as Shi looked at the emblem. It didn't say anything about fire, but it indeed looked like a fire starting on the door. She looked at her hands and wondered a moment then looked at Sora. If anything, the boy was weaker and his damage wouldn't do much to this if her hunch was wrong. "Sora, cast fire on the picture." She said out loud.
He shrugged but cast the spell. "Fire!" To everyone's amazement the door opened revealing a dark cave within. Walking in further, they found themselves at a lake with a tiny island at the center. There were giant moving stones. They were moving back and fourth in the same spot within six feet of each other. There seemed to be nothing swimming in the water at all, nothing seemed to even be alive in this cave. At the island in the center was a tower, the old man that owned the book must live there. Carefully everyone jumped stone to stone until they reached the center. There was no entrance! Well, it was boarded up as well with red cloth draping over the mess. Walking along the side of the tower house, there was green blanket draped over a opening within the bricks as if the wall had been torn away. Inside there seemed to be a circular stand with a few steps going up it but nothing else seemed to be inside at all. Sora stared at the wall for a few minutes saying nothing. Suddenly he reached a hand out. "Kairi?"
"Sora?" Donald asked out loud. Sora looked back in surprise, then back at the wall still surprised.
"You ok Sora?" Shi placed a hand on Sora's shoulder.
"Well well! You've arrived soon than I expected." An elderly man spoke, wearing a blue robe and a very large wizard's hat. In his right hand held a brown bag, his left hand held a wand.
"You knew we were coming?" Sora asked.
"Of course." The man responded.
"Are you a heartless?" Sora asked tilting his head to the side.
Shi slapped her forehead slightly.
"He doesn't look like one." Donald remarked.
Shi looked to the heavens in awe.
"Oh my no. My name is Merlin. As you can see, I am a sorcerer. I spend much of my time traveling, it's good to be home! Your King has requested my help." Merlin chuckled.
"King Mickey?" Shi asked her eyes widening in hope.
"Yes indeed!" Merlin looked at everyone. "Donald, Goofy...And Shi? But who is this?" He looked at Sora
"I'm Sora."
"Ah Sora so you also have found the key." Merlin pushed the glasses up the ridge of his nose.
"What did the King ask you to do? Do you know where he is?" Donald asked hopeful.
"Just a moment..." Merlin put his bag to the ground, opened it wide as he could and began a little hopping dance as he waved his wand around. Slowly all manner of objects were flying out of his bag, and slowly growing larger and finding their place within the dark small room. Even a bed flew out, growing larger as it did so! It set itself up against the wall, sheets and blanket on perfectly made. A dresser, all manner of cooking utensils as well as all sort of books! Books upon books upon books! A round table with a nice plump chair, a few desks with different vials and potions on top of them, and the finishing touch of a miniature round white buggy pumpkin looking toy. "There we go! Ahem." He cleared his throat. "Your King asked me to train you in magic, we can start anytime you wish. Let me know when you are ready to begin training. Oh and one more thing...
Suddenly he glanced over at the curious 'toy'. Tiny blue sparkles began appearing and culminating around it, a bright light shined and there stood the Fairy god mother. "Hello I am the fairy godmot-"
"Fairy Godmother!" Shi exclaimed running over to her.
"S-Shi?" She asked.
"Yes it's me. It's been a decade."
Fairy God Mother frowned. "The King asked me to help too, I can assist you throughout your journey. I wish I had been able to do so from the start. You will find some magic glowing stones, bring them to me." Goofy held out the only stone they had.
"Oh poor dear, his world was swallowed by the darkness but his will hung on. Bibbity! Bobbity! Boo!" Suddenly the stone glowed then stopped glowing. "You can now summon him." The stone suddenly held the letters S-I-M-B-A.
"Thank you." Shi answered gratefully. Sora then handed the book to Merlin.
"Here Cid wanted us to give this to you."
"Ah that book, so Cid asked you to bring this thank you. Do you wish to know what kind of book this is? I don't even know myself! In fact it's not even mine. Somehow it found it's way into my bag one day. It was such a curious book I asked Cid to repair it for me. Well I guess I'll put it here somewhere for now. Find the missing pages and this book holds a great secret. I'll leave it here for now, look at it whenever you want. My best regards to Cid for repairing it for me." Merlin smiled as he placed the book on a stand next to the bed.
Sora walked over already curious. "I want to see it!" He picked the book up and opened it to the first page. "Winnie the pooh?" He read out loud when suddenly the book began to glow. It shook in Sora's hands as the light engulfed him.
"Sora drop the book!" Shi yelled but it was too late, Sora was sucked inside the book alone.
Did I have them level up literally? Yes yes I did. I was making fun of how you level up in the game and suddenly magically know these new abilities...I already know I have a odd sense of humor and am indeed an odd person...shuddap
Also, I hated writing deep jungle so happy never have to write it again. I also tend to get lazy and dislike writing fighting scenes. I am working on it but part of the brain damage I do have is that it's easier for me to get confused. SO much easier as well as forget things. So I constantly go back through my writing to make sure I'm staying consistent. I will keep writing the fighting scenes but I am going to be a little less detailed simply to keep things going. And keep me writing. And I am sorry I have no excuse not updating till now. I did make this chapter little longer as apology. I wish to keep the word count at least 5,000 per chapter but can't always promise that. I write as I can and when I can. I've had a lot happen to me, still divorcing trying to gain custody of my autistic child who just turned 5 years old. Life is tough, but this story I can't ever abandon forever. So it will be finished you have my promise I just can't say when. It's going through the entire series so I imagine it will end up being long. I still am going to write about all the OCs of course but can't really add any more. I feel bad enough it's taking as long as it is to write and me adding characters will make it harder for me to do. I hope you all have a good day! =)
