Hazel's POV

The girls are 4 months old now, all smiling and beginning to sit up on their own, My favorite time of day is when Gus and I are playing with the girls . Watching them grow and learn new things makes my heart swell. Even though they are still tiny, it feels like time is going by so fast, They change so much every day. I wish it would slow down just for a second. I'm sitting in front of my laptop. Abby and Zoey are on the floor on their bellies playing with toys, and Ramsey is in Gus's lap babbling away.

Me: Hello, little one. I smile at her, and she squeals, I have an idea.

Gus: You do?

Me: Yeah. I have an idea of what to do with all those pictures we've been taking. What if we set up an email for each of them and send the pictures to the address and write down memories there and then when they're old enough, we'll give them the password so they can look. They can even add their own pictures and memories as they grow.

Gus (Smiles and leans over to kiss me): I love that idea. I think we should do it.

Me: It'll be like a virtual memory book for them.

I set up each address and send the pictures. I put the laptop down and open my arms to Ramsey, and Gus hands her over. My mom walks into the living room and drops to the rug to play with Abby and Zoey. She moved in to help us out after they were born. My dad comes over a lot to see us, and both of them are over the moon to have all this time with us. Gus's parents also drop in to help, and we're all really close. I feel very lucky to have this awesome support system. Mom looks up at me, and I can tell she's going to get teary.

Me: What's up?
Mom: Just thinking how lucky we are.

Me: Oh, no kidding. I think about that all the time. I feel very lucky. I never thought I'd be able to be married or to have a family, and here I am with 3 beautiful babies and a happy marriage. Now that I think of it, lucky isn't a big enough word to describe it,

Mom gets up and comes over to hug me and after she does, she kisses Ramsey's head. Ramsey giggles. She adores her grandparents and so do Zoey and Abby. Later, we all take one of the girls up to bed. I have Abby, Gus has Zoey, and Mom has Ramsey. We make small talk as we change them into pajamas, and then we each read them a story. They fall asleep after about half an hour, and Mom goes to bed, leaving Gus and me on the couch alone.

Me: Gus, why do you call me Hazel Grace? Most people just call me Hazel.

Gus: Well, from the second I met you, I knew you were bigger than life, and something about you told me you needed more of a title than just your first name.

Me: Aww, really?

Gus: Yeah. I mean, when you spoke at Support Group, it made me realize I wanted to know you better, and like I said, I knew you had this incredible presence right off the bat.

I smile and snuggle into his lap. We spend the next few hours chatting and eating popcorn while we watch a movie. When Abby cries, I change and feed her, then hold her until she falls back asleep. Gus does the same for Ramsey and Zoey.

Me: Okay?

Gus: Okay.
