The darkness of the hallways was doing no favours for them.

The man in the slate armour held the front, his sword drawn; the female in silver armour on his right, her rifle held at the ready as they advanced.

Behind them, there were two other figures - one, a male in what was clearly tattered and scavenged riot gear, the blemishes and dents showing that it was worn out; even his helm, faceshield, and rifle bore obvious signs of damage, with scratches all throughout them.

And behind him was an angelic figure - quite literally. A woman in a white dress, a being of perfect beauty, was pulling the rear, her large white wings folded on her back as her hazel eyes scanned the area.

She, at least, seemed to be unaffected by the darkness that awaited them, as she confidently walked as the others creeped, not even drawing the sword that was at her belt.

The group continued forwards, moving in sync - it was as if they had been doing this for a while.

An explosion would rock a section of the building, and the Angel would wince, gazing downwards; the one at the helm would glance over his shoulder at her, and she would shake her head.

"Timor has engaged." She would say softly, gripping the hilt of her sword. "He remains unwounded as of now; Longinus will not be far behind."

"Then let us do our part." The man at the helm would say.

They would advance in silence, the sounds of battle growing as they approached their target - the accursed Tall One, the being that had been taking advantage of the chaos that has been arisings as the clusters of different worlds across different universes began to collide; and he had become a big enough problem that even the Greater Evil must be put aside, as the Tall One had begun to assault the homes of the team.

They moved, another series of explosions erupting on the far side of the building, away from the combat they had been approaching; the rest of the team must have engaged.

Good.

They were here.

The man in the front wasted no time - they knew what to do. Charging his hand with red energy, he punched the door, blowing them clean off of their hinges as the other three charged in.

Two would begin to fire their weapons the moment they entered, and the man in the lead would charge in with his sword to engage the tall clown in black and white striped clothes, who gleefully charged him.

And the Angel soared into the air, unsheathing her brilliant blade to engage the Tall Man, who would at first allow the blade to cleanly pass across his chest - possibly not expecting injury, but the hiss that would emit from its faceless face would show that it had been wounded.

The gunner had both been forced to drop their rifles, the woman drawing a sword to engage a deformed male wielding a knife, the other wielding a fire axe, swinging it precariously at the dark figures that drew near to it.

The tall man would grunt, stepping back as a chunk of the armour on his shoulder fell away, revealing a red cloth twisting up his arm and body over the black shirt he wore underneath; but would quickly respond, soon felling the clown, inserting the tip of his blade into its throat and slicing it across the middle; but would not hesitate, instead charging forwards to attack the Tall Man, would respond by shooting out several… they had to be tentacles, from its back, launching them out to take hold of whatever it could.

One of which was the man's foot, yanking him forwards to put him in the path of the Angel's blade, but she cleanly rolled in the air, her blade meeting the tentacles that held her ally, dropping him to the ground as the thing hissed -

And the man's head would make contact with the floor, causing his eyes to snap open as he shouted.

"Harley!"

Frisk shot up in bed as she shouted, her blue eyes outstretched as she glanced wildly around the room.

"He's not here." Chara's voice would sound from across the room, the clear irritation within it; she had likely been woken up. "Put the sword away and fuckoff with your nightmares."

Glancing at her hand, Frisk would take a few deep breaths, the summoned construct fading as she regained control of herself.

"What was that?" She would begin to stand as tried to sort out her thoughts. "A vision? A twist of events? Is this something that happened, or something happening?"

She would tug a shirt over herself, along with a pair of jeans before opening the door, too lost in her thoughts to notice that Chara had also risen, curiously staring at Frisk's back as she left the room.

"And - how am I seeing this? This isn't the first time I see something like that - am I now somehow connected to Harley?"

She would twist the ring on her finger - a habit that she had acquired as of late - and would stride down the stairs, only to be greeted at the base by Undyne.

"Kid - good. There is something happening."

"Never a dull moment, is there?" Frisk would reply, an eyebrow raised. "What is going on?"

Undyne wouldn't reply, merely wrapping her hand around Frisk's wrist and pulling her forwards, over to the TV.

"It happened overnight, listen."

"And what are we to do now? With the army split and all the leaders killed, we have no defenses! What if someone invades?"

"Currently the only invaders appear to be the NHDS that are now controlling several pivotal bases across the country!"

"What do they even want with us, to do this? How did they do this?"

Frisk turned away from the TV to look upwards at Undyne, both of them mirroring the same worried expression.

"Without the army, what are we going to do?" Frisk asked, her eyebrows furrowed.

"I -"

"Don't be stupid." Chara's voice sounded as she walked into the living room. "The solution is simple, right there in front of you."

The two would face the speaker, and she would shrug, her brown eyes glittering.

"The Monster-Human Defense Squad. Re-engage it. Call for any and all loyalists to peace and security to their homes and families."

"And who will lead it?" Frisk demanded. "Harley is gone, and we have no means of con-"

"You will."

Frisk's head snapped over to Undyne, who was nodding.

"What? I have -"
"You have the potential of an excellent leader, Frisk." Undyne said, staring at her student. "And this is do or die."

"So why don't you lead!"

"Because I am not a leader." Undyne said flatly. "Not of an army. I am a Captain - a commander of select forces. My purpose is as your vassal - and you are the princess most suited for the job, as you command respect unlike any other within this country."

"You can do this, Frisk." Chara said, her voice warm despite the frown remaining on her face. "If you call, they will come - and you will be a commander that we can all be proud to follow."

"You got this, kid." Undyne said, clasping Frisk's shoulder.

Frisk would close her eyes, taking several deep breaths as her mind raced - this was a lot happening in the span of a few moments.

She opened her eyes and gazed down at the ring on her hand - the blue stripe matched her eyes.

For you.

When she looked up at the other two, her blue eyes burned with the fires of Determination, and when she spoke, it was firm and decisive.

"Let us go, and make the call."

Frisk stood in front of City Hall, the cameras focused dead on her as she began to speak.

"We cannot allow these injustices anymore."

She said, staring out at the crowd that must have begun to form.

"Three Years Ago, on this very ground, we made them - The NHDS - retreat. We gave them a taste of defeat, and we thought there was peace. But no. They have remained. And for too long have we allowed these terrorists lived amongst us - living in deceit, scheming; the smile to your face as they know that they plan to either place a knife in your back, or to make you live in fear."

"But no more."

Frisk gazed out at the crowd, her arms folded over her chest as she spoke, a scowl crossing her face.

"As of today, I am issuing out a call, a call to all of those that wish to defend their homes and those they love. I, Commander Frisk Vogel Dreemurr, in the stead of my late brother, do now summon all of those that fought beside us before, and any of those that wish to defend all of what they love, to me. The Monster Human Defense Squad shall meet the call once more."

She grasped the hilt of her sword and drew it, her magic flowing through it to illuminate the hilt as she pointed it skyward.

"For the Fallen. We cannot let those we lost have died in vain."

"For the Living, to ensure that they do not live in fear."

"And for us. For our right to live in peace and safety -"

"I call upon you."

She would sheath her sword as the crowd in front of her cheered, and once it died down, she would gaze directly into the camera.

"Attacking our army was an act of war - so think carefully before you draw this out, NHDS. You will find us much more united than last time.

"That is all."

"looks like this is more important."

The skeleton would pull his hood down as he stared around at the destruction he had just brought.

"...this was a temporary gig, anyways."

He would vanish, finally heading home.
