AN* Hello once again. This particular chapter was a bit more complicated then I originally planned it, but overall I'm pleased with how it turned out and I hope that all of you are as well. So as always, leave your reviews, and stay safe out there everyone.

A God's Legacy

Naruto chuckled as he looked at the pair before reaching into a pocket and sending a piece of paper flying at Hokuto, who caught it with ease as he blinked at what he held before laughing.

"I owe you, one rematch." Hokuto read aloud as he chuckled.

"No point in cashing it in if you are stuck in that chair." Naruto said "That the price you paid for the power you used against me last year?"

"Yes." Hokuto nodded "Unless I am constantly using my powers I am stuck in this chair, and the more I use them the shorter my lifespan becomes."

"Remind me to get Baa-chan to take a look at you one of these days. She might have a means of helping you heal a little better than this." Naruto said simply as he glanced over at the girls who were tense and ready to fight "So, as much as I enjoy seeing my favorite punching bags from last year" this got a chuckle from Kiria as Hokuto just shook his head "you claim to know where Akua is taking Moka. How, and more importantly, why are you telling us?"

"The how should be obvious." Hokuto smirked as his hand began transforming into the tentacles but stopped when the shadows rose up around him "We are a part of Fairy Tale."

"I gathered as much." Naruto said simply "And Kiria, you move another step and I am putting an ice spear through your knees."

Kiria blinked in surprise as the girls also blinked as they realized that he had shifted ever so slightly.

"It's simple. Despite how it may appear to an outsider, Fairy Tale isn't an organization working under a single volition. While we may all be striving towards the grueling goal of overthrowing human society, the main headquarters that Akua is a part of and the 1st subdivision that we are a part of think completely differently. You could even say that we oppose them. There is one common thing though. We both need Moka Akashiya's strength to achieve our goal."

"It's a temporary alliance." Yukari said quietly.

"Exactly." Hokuto nodded "So what do you say Naruto Uzumaki? Will you accept our help, or will you try to fight Akua on your own again and lose?"

"What's your take on this?" Naruto asked

"He means it. They likely have their own agenda during this, but he will help us."

"Fine." Naruto nodded, getting the other in the courtyard to look at Naruto in surprise "Until we save Moka we are allies. But don't forget this Hokuto." Pausing the shadow rose up around Hokuto's neck and Kiria's "If you betray me, there is no force on this earth that will stop us from exacting our revenge. You might kill me, but my tenant is more than ready to lay waste to Fairy Tale on my behalf. Don't think my death ends this battle, all it does is delay what happens to you. Make sure your boss understands this."

Hokuto nodded as the shadow dropped away as he tossed a few cds onto the ground as well as a disposable cellphone onto the ground in front of Naruto.

"Those have all the data you will need on Fairy Tale's main headquarters. Call the only contact on that phone once your preparations are ready." Hokuto said as he turned back towards the destroyed hall "I never thought I would see you on the losing end of a fight Naruto. Don't disappoint me like that again when we begin the operation."

Naruto only snorted as he picked up the items and turned back towards the group. Touhou Fuhai had a contemplative look on his face as he sat down on the steps near Lingling, Timtim and Fei-Hung. Fangfang still looked angry and wanting to fight, while Yukari was just exhausted. Mizore and Kurumu looked shaken a bit but the fire was still there in their eyes. Walking over to Touhou Fuhai he passed the man the cds.

"Take a look at those. See what's on there."

"Fine." The man nodded.

"Wait, we aren't going to go after them now?" Fangfang asked in shock.

"No. Two birds one stone." Naruto said simply as he looked at the younger youkai "Mikogami and I have been prepping for war with Fairy Tale for most of this year. The problem was that we didn't know where their main base was, or what they planned on doing. Now we know where they are, and I can make a good guess at what they are going to try and do. We have a bit of time, especially considering the old pervert here got sneaky on us."

"What?" Yukari blinked at Touhou Fuhai glared a moment at Naruto before he started to laugh.

"I repaired the seal." he grinned "While Akua has a sister complex, I was willing to bet that since she kept that first promise for seven years, if the seal was fixed she wouldn't do anything to Outer Moka once the seal was repaired."

Moka sat down on the luxurious bed in her private quarters, having been escorted there by Akua who's very presence seemed to draw out equal parts fear and respect from all the youkai aboard the zeppelin. Sighing she stared down at the seal, as well as the closed fist that she had used to sucker punch Naruto. She hadn't wanted to do that. To hurt him. But she knew that if he had fought Akua like that he was going to die. It was a thought that she couldn't bear.

"I never thought we'd say goodbye like that..." Moka said quietly as she opened the fist and looked up towards the wall "I wonder if that is the last time that I'll ever see you again..."

Glancing down she blinked in shock as the rosary began to shake and let out a light, growing brighter and brighter as she started to feel dizzy and exhausted. As the light lessened the door to her room opened as Akua stepped in, having changed out of the clothes that she had been in when she had attacked the Wong family, now wearing a beautiful Chinese style dress, along with a tunic with long flowing sleeves.

"Moka, have you finished changing? Let's eat." Akua smiled before a look of shock replaced it as the light began to recede and revealed a sight that she hadn't been expecting, as the silver haired vampiress was gone as the pink haired Moka was back again.

"It seems like the seal is fixed." Moka smiled awkwardly "And also, it seems like I've switched back."

"Moka?! Why at a time like this?!" Akua cried in shock as the light completely dispersed and revealed a note hanging from the rosary now. Grabbing the note Akua's eyes widened in shock as it said "The seal has been fixed. Sorry. Touhou Fuhai."

"You... TOUHOU FUHAI!" Akua screamed in anger.

"In short we've added a bit more time to the clock." Naruto explained as the sun began to rise as the members of the Wong Family began tending to their wounded "Now it's up to us to make the most of it."

"I assume you have something in mind." Touhou Fuhai remarked.

"You bet he does." A voice called out, causing the group to turn as four familiar figures walked up.

"Right on time." Naruto grinned as he looked at the Demon Lord while Ruby, Kokoa, Haji and Gin joined the group.

"We came as quickly as we could Naruto-kun." Ruby smiled "The Headmaster informed us of what happened here."

"Then you all know what's about to come next. Touhou Fuhai, we need a place to train, and I would like you to teach me a way of fighting against Akua." Naruto said firmly, getting the Demon Lord to stare at him for a moment before he started to laugh.

"I think something can be arranged. But first you are all going to need some rest. We will begin first thing tomorrow. Meet me back in my mansion then." He said as he turned back into his old self, walking into his damaged mansion and muttering things under his breath that Naruto was only just barely able to hear.

Walking back to the main house the group headed for the guest rooms as Naruto motioned to Kokoa and Ruby to sit, intent on hearing what they had learned during their errand for Mikogami

"We were sent to the Yuki-Onna Village." Ruby began "The Snow Priestess contacted the Headmaster when she sensed something was wrong with their barrier. They found something that had been attached to the roots of the The Thousand Year Frost Tree. It was some sort of egg that was draining the power of the tree into itself."

"Fairy Tale did that?" Mizore asked with a scowl.

"That was the real purpose of their operation there." Ruby nodded "We didn't notice it quickly enough and now there is no way to remove it without damaging the tree."

"That's not all." Kokoa added "Kaluha-nee-san was there too."

"Really?" Naruto frowned now "You're both ok?"

"Yes. She wasn't there to fight." Kokoa nodded "She told us that there were more of those eggs scattered around Japan, and that the moment that they hatched would be the moment that Fairy Tale would begin their main operation. And that the Shuzen family is siding with Fairy Tale."

"Not unexpected." Naruto sighed, getting everyone to look at him in surprise "Mikogami and I discussed the possibility that the Shuzen family would be against us when we first encountered Kaluha. It's within our expected range of problems."

"You didn't count on being outclassed by Akua did you?" Kurumu asked quietly.

"No. And that's a different problem that we are going to work on solving. We've bought ourselves a bit of time with this. Combined with the division among their ranks we have a few weeks to get ready." Naruto nodded looking at them all "Three weeks. That's all the time we can afford to spend training."

Akua frowned as she jotted down another note as she looked at Moka, sitting at the small table in the cafe like area aboard the zeppelin. She had been asking Moka about various things from the two years that they had spent together, seeing what memories were overlapping and what weren't, and was beginning to see the full scope of them.

"Then... How about when we sparred against each other when we were much smaller?"

"I do remember." Moka said as she continued to look out the window over the clouds "By the way, my win-loss record from back then is 12 wins to 117 losses. I barely ever won against you, Akua-nee-san."

"You even remembered that, but you can't recall a single detail about your mother's disappearance." Akua noted with a frown as she confirmed that the rosary did indeed seal away any memories connected to Alucard, and thus Akasha's disappearance, however the two Moka's did share all of their other memories "Hm... How weak."

"Nee-san?" Moka asked, turning to look at the girl as she had turned to step away. Akua turned and brought her hand to Moka's neck in a flash her face set in a frown as she held her hand just shy of Moka's rosary, ready to unleash the Jigen-Tou in an instant. Moka for her part didn't even move at the sudden movement, her eyes having followed it with ease getting Akua's frown to lessen ever so slightly.

"If it weren't for the promise that I made with Akasha-san, I would be able to cut open this seal right now and set you free." the elder vampiress seethed.

"What promise?" Moka asked calmly, getting Akua to blink as the girl showed no fear towards her "Why did you come back for me now? Tell me nee-san! Tell me everything that you know!"

"Moka..." Akua muttered before a blush hit her face as her hand went from the Jigen-Tou position to a caressing palm that went near Moka's face "Aiya~ You're both so cute! I guess it's like "One bite and the tastiness comes twice"?"

"Akua-nee-san..." Moka blinked at the sudden shift in the girl as she continued to smile as she leaned in towards Moka.

"And also, there's no need to rush. You'll understand soon, about your fate that you've inherited from Akasha-san." Akua explained.

"Fate?" Moka pressed as the pilot of the vessel came over the intercom to announce that they were going to be landing soon and that all personnel were to return to their stations "Landing? Where? We're still in the air?"

"You'll see soon enough. I'm sure that you'll be surprised." Akua chuckled. True to her words the clouds parted enough as the zeppelin drew closer to reveal their destination. A massive floating city that rose up in multiple levels with a citadel like structure at the very top, while underneath looking like stalactites in a cave were massive dark stones pointing towards the ground thousands of feet below.

"Th-that's..." Moka blinked in shock.

"It's called "The Floating Garden"." Akua explained "Fairy Tale's headquarters. A stronghold that floats in midair."

The zeppelin approached a large hangar behind a massive steel door, opening up to allow five of the aircrafts to pass through with ease as it landed gently. It wasn't long before Akua led Moka off of the zeppelin and through a series of corridors before taking her up to the city above, revealing armed men walking around with guns along with various cannons and large guns meant to protect the stronghold.

"Surprised? It's almost like something from the movies isn't it?" Akua remarked as they stood on a decent sized courtyard near the lower levels "An impregneable fortress surrounded by clouds where both infiltration and escape are impossible. It's governed by a military system where rules are enforced like a prison. It's dangerous so don't even think about trying to escape."

"It seems like I owe Naruto-kun an apology." Moka said with a sad smile "When he said he thought Fairy Tale was in some kind of sky fort I thought he was being silly."

"He thought we were in the sky?" Akua blinked in surprise.

"He said he met a people back in his land that had done the same thing." Moka explained "I didn't think it was possible here."

"His land? Is he not Japanese?"

"He's from another dimension." Moka explained, getting Akua to blink in surprise "One where humans have hunted most youkai to extinction. His was a world where only the strong survived."

"No wonder he was so tough." Akua admitted freely "He was the first non vampire I had fought in a long time that was able to hurt me. It does make one wonder why he would protect humans when his own kind have been exterminated in his own dimension?"

"Do you know what a Jinchuruki is?" Moka said, seeing Akua tilt her head in confusion "It's a human who is turned into a youkai. He carries a powerful youkai within him, and if he should ever die it will be set free. A powerful monster that will not stop until it has extracted revenge on whomever has killed it's partner."

"How powerful?" Akua frowned.

"What you saw back in Hong Kong was only a fraction of what he can do apparently. Jubi is a monster that is beyond S Class. He is to S class youkai what A class youkai are to you." Moka explained as she turned to face her sister "It's why I'm telling you this Akua-nee-san. You might have brought me here, but Naruto-kun won't give up. My friends won't give up."

"It's pointless to think about them." Akua said firmly "They don't know anything, about your past or what you are burdened with? No... Even if they do know, there's no way that they can understand what it's like. They cannot make you happy, Moka."

"That's not true." Moka quietly countered "Alone, without a home to return to and my mother lost. With a past like that, Youkai Academy was the first heart-warming place for me. It doesn't matter if they don't know anything, being with Naruto and everyone... I was truly happy and I know that they would understand."

Akua closed her eyes, the darkness of her soul writing in anger at those words, as she opened her eyes and grabbed Moka's arm, pulling her along.

"Come with me." her icy tone allowing no disobedience as she pulled Moka back into the network of metal tunnels within the fortress.

"Akua-nee-san?" Moka blinked in shock as she was pulled, allowing her eldest sister to lead her towards some unknown destination. The pair traversed the corridors with ease, not a single soul was present as they walked for close to half an hour before Akua finally spoke up.

"It true, that your mother wished that you didn't know anything." Akua began "But are you okay with that Moka? Turning away from your fate, and being the only one living happily with your friends?" Stopping at an elevator Akua slid a card through a reader next to the doors, causing them to open "Follow me." Stepping into the car the two stood as it began to descend before Akua spoke up again "I'll let you see your mother, Akasha-san."

"Eh?" Moka blinked in shock as she turned towards Akua "I-I thought Mother disappeared seven years ago, and no one had heard from her since. No one knows where she is."

Akua looked at Moka with a look that raised the hairs on her arms as the elevator continued it's descent for another moment before stopping, opening it's doors to a large darkened room that emanated a terrible darkness, oppressive in it's weight and terrible in it's depth.

"Come on inside..." Akua said quietly "It's your mother who you've wanted to see this whole time."

With slow trembling steps Moka walked out of the elevator car and out onto what seemed to be a giant platform of some kind as she gazed at what the room contained.

"What the..." the girl trailed off as Akua stepped off behind her.

"This thing's name is Alucard. A monster with a hidden power to destroy the world. Originally it slept in the basement of the Shuzen House, but we moved it here." Akua explained.

"Wait... My mother... Where is she?" Moka asked after a moment, terrified of the answer but needing to know it all the same.

"Inside this monster." Akua answered "In order to keep this thing sealed, Akasha=san is within it, in an eternal slumber. Most likely, she has already fused with it."

Moka could only stare wide eyed in horror at the abomination that towered over the two. It's arms were spread wide out to the sides, with it's twisted flesh acting like armor at parts of it's bodies. It's head drooped a bit with two massive cuved horns stretched our from it's elongated head, both easily thicker around than Moka and Akua standing side by side. All along the creature were tubes connecting to it, as though it was a futile attempt to keep this monster alive by some sort of means.

"Mo... Mother..." Moka whispered in shock as she stared up at Alucard, her knees going weak for a bit and prompting Akua to put a stabling hand on her shoulder.

"By the way, my mother is actually the daughter of this monster." Akua remarked after Moka regained her footing, getting the pink haired vampire to look at Akua in shock as the girl smiled a sad smile at her "Right? This thing is, for the both of us, a fate we couldn't escape from the moment that we were born. Which is why, Moka, carve a way through this fate together with me."

As dusk fell the small group returned to Touhou Fuhai's mansion where the old man was waiting for them. With a nod he had them follow him deeper into his mansion this time, leading them to a large octagon shaped room and nodding towards what looked like a small pool of water in the center of it.

"Just step into that. It will take you to a special training room." he said. Nodding Naruto walked in first dropping through and feeling disoriented as everything inside was upside down at first before his senses righted themselves and the room stopped being weird to him as he stepped away and watched as everyone else walked through one by one, going through the same disorientation as he had, though to varying degrees as Kurumu had almost started flying to balance herself out.

"Nice place." Naruto remarked looking at the shorter youkai

"Heh. This is a special dimension that I created. It's similar to a reflection of a place on water. It's a perfect replica of Hong Kong, just without any of the people so there is no need to worry about cutting loose." the old man grinned smugly.

"Whoa." Yukari blinked in shock as the others looked at Touhou Fuhai with varying looks of shock and speculation before Naruto whistled to get everyone's attention.

"Alright everyone." Naruto called out "The short version of this is that we are against the clock now, and our backs are to the wall. We are only going to have a single shot at stopping them, and if we miss then the world as we know it is doomed." Pausing he saw all of them starting to get serious "Thanks to our little trip into Moka's memories I think I pieced together what Fairy Tale's endgame is, and worst of all Touhou Fuhai has agreed with my theory. Fairy Tale intends to awaken a God class youkai of their own, and unleash it on humanity."

"Wait, what?!" Fangfang shouted in shock.

"Another God class?" Gin frowned now "Where did they even find one?"

"It's called Alucard." Naruto answered "It's already taken a swing at humanity once before, and was stopped by the Three Demon Lords. If Fairy Tale wakes it up, all they'll have to do is drop it on a city somewhere in the world and it'll take care of the rest."

"How are they going to wake it up?" Yukari asked.

"Moka." Touhou Fuhai answered now "When she awoke the Shinso blood within her seven years ago she awoke Alucard as well. Akasha sacrificed herself to stop it, but if Moka were to use her full power in front of the beast again it would awaken once more, and this time Akasha isn't there to stop it."

"This happens, we are going to be in big trouble." Naruto agreed.

"Can't you stop it?" Haji asked with a frown "You're a God class youkai yourself."

"Not that simple." Naruto said shaking his head "That's like saying that on paper Kokoa can defeat Moka in a fight. It might be true on paper that we are the same level, but there is a massive experience gap, and as much as I hate to admit it there is a a hell of a power gap between us too. The thing made itself into a hybrid youkai like the members of Anti-Thesis. It's power has likely amplified from what it originally was. Not to mention that I'm technically only operating at about 85% of my full power. In a straight up fight I am likely going to lose."

"It's why I fixed the seal. They are going to need to find a way to break it again first." Touhou Fuhai nodded "Three weeks is all that we are going to have in here before we have to go through with this operation."

"And we are going to be making the most of that time." Naruto said firmly as he looked at the group in front of him "For the next three weeks you are all going to be training as hard as you can to hone your skills to a level past what you are currently at. I'm going to be pairing you all off, train with your partner and push them to new levels. Kokoa, Haji. The two of you are the first pair. Kokoa start teaching Haji how to fight against vampires, the more you can show him the better. Haji, help Kokoa hone that strength of hers." The pair nodded before looking at each other with bloodthirsty grins that would unsettle almost anyone looking at it "Yukari, Fangfang, you're the second pair. Fangfang, I need you to teach Yukari every scrap of magical knowledge that your family has accumulated over the years. The more you can get her to learn and master the better. Yukari, see if you can help Fangfang master his magic and make it something more useful than playing Russian Roulette." The two nodded now as Naruto shifted his gaze to the next group "Kurumu, Gin, you are third. Kurumu start teaching Gin everything that you have managed to learn about anti-vampire combat. Gin, start upping Kurumu's speed and endurance." Gin had a grin on his face as he looked at Kurumu who glared at him in a way that promised to make his training extra hard "Which leaves Mizore and Ruby. The two of you are going to hone your combat abilities to a higher level, and see if you can come up with any extra tricks." With the final pair nodding he motioned for them to head off into the city as he looked at Touhou Fuhai who only nodded as he led Naruto towards a large park.

The pair first began a practice spar in hand to hand combat, with Naruto proving himself easily outclassing the older form of the youkai, forcing him to take his younger form where the match was more even, with Naruto having reapplied his gravity seals. Blocking a series of strikes Naruto and the older youkai stood there for a moment before Touhou Fuhai nodded.

"Your hand to hand combat is exceptional. Combined with your speed when those seals are removed you should have no problem handling Akua if you can keep her from using the Jigen-Tou."

"And I'm assuming that is what you are going to be teaching me next?" Naruto asked with a frown.

"That was the plan, however I feel it best to change tactics here." Touhou Fuhai remarked, getting Naruto to blink in surprise "While the Jigen-Tou would certainly give you the power you need to defeat Akua, especially when combined with your speed and combat capabilities, it is a weapon that does not suit you."

"Doesn't suit me?"

"Yes. From what I've observed of you and from what Mikogami has told me of you it wouldn't compliment your style of fighting. No, I have a very different technique in mind to teach you, one that will counter Akua's Jigen-Tou and level the playing field between the two of you."

Naruto smiled as he nodded for Touhou Fuhai to begin teaching him the technique, what he called Muei-Tou(Shadowless Sword), and with both quickly realizing that it was impossible.

"Hm." The Demon Lord huffed as he stepped back after an hour of trying and having Naruto channel his chakra before he finally spoke "You are too human."

"Excuse me?" Naruto blinked in shock.

"Oh you are a powerful youkai, that is not in question. But to use youjutsu you need to be a full youkai. You are a pseudo youkai." Touhou Fuhai said simply "You're a Jinchuruki correct?"

"Yeah. Of the Jubi." Naruto nodded.

"Yes, that explains the power. I'll need to see the seal first, before I can give potential solutions."

With that Naruto had his shirt off and began channeling his chakra causing the seal to appear on his stomach, getting the older youkai to let out a hum as he tapped at the edges of the seal for a moment before causing it to expand outward to reveal it's full construction, getting Naruto to blink in shock while the man walked around it carefully examining each piece. One he finished a complete circuit around Naruto he nodded for the blond to stop before he spoke up.

"There is a way that we can do this. But it is very dangerous, and may actually lead to your death." he warned, holding up a finger.

"What is it?"

"Human Modification Technique." Touhou Fuhai explained "It's normal use will allow me to reconstruct a human's body to be able to use youkai based techniques. However when this is used on a Jinchuruki, the effect is very different, and the last time it was used was on the Jinchuruki of the Ichibi."

"It was Shukaku who came here?!" Naruto blinked in shock.

"Oh, you're familiar with him." Touhou Fuhai hummed "Yes, he arrived here by some convoluted means that even he was unable to explain, but begged for greater power. Something about needing to help his clan, it's been so long that I can barely remember it. I agreed to help him, using this technique on him after we realized that he couldn't learn anything else that I could teach him."

"What happened?"

"He and the tanuki began to fuse. The problem of course was that Shukaku was not a willing participant. He fought it as hard as he could and caused some dangerous and nasty side effects to occur that altered his power in new and rather unusual ways." Touhou Fuhai explained "What happened was that Shukaku began to overtake his Jinchuruki, driving the man slowly insane."

"And you want to do this to me?" Naruto asked in shock "What is even going to happen when you do this?"

"It will alter the state of your seal. Changing it from one that allows you to use your demon's abilities into one that slowly fuses the two of you into a singular being." Touhou Fuhai explained "If we do this... There is no telling exactly what would happen."

"I can make some guesses." Jubi said quietly.

"I'm all ears."

"We would fuse as he says, slowly becoming one individual. As this happens one of us would need to become the dominant personality. What will happen is that you will retain control of this body as my mind, my memories and my spirit slowly fuse with yours, giving you everything that I have acquired over the years and tempering it with your own spirit and ideals. It would give you the power to surpass what we currently are, to truly become a God class youkai." Jubi explained.

"No way! This will kill you!" Naruto shouted "There's got to be a different way! We'll come up with something else!"

"We are out of time Naruto." Jubi countered "Fairy Tale is already set to unleash a monster that will kill billions of humans. We can't do nothing."

"We'll figure something out! I'm not going to let you sacrifice yourself like this!"

Jubi only started to chuckle as Naruto entered the inner world fully, standing atop of the water within as he and the Jubi stared at one another for a moment.

"Naruto... I have been dead for a very long time. I died before the Biju were ever born, before I was sealed inside of the old sage. Before Hagoromo was even born. So if by trading this remnant of an existence that I call a life, to give you the power to save everyone in this world is what it takes than I am willing to do it. I do not think I will disappear all at once, and even if I do, you are no longer alone Naruto... You have surrounded yourself with those that love and support you. That have helped you become a far better being than I." Jubi paused a moment before continuing "I suppose it is only fitting for a successor to surpass their predecessors."

"Successor?" Naruto said quietly "I'm not"

"You are. The moment we came here that is what you became." Jubi countered "Now tell that old pervert to get started. We are short on time, and the faster we begin this, the better."

"Well?" Touhou Fuhai asked as Naruto opened his eyes and saw a sad resolve here.

"We'll do it."

Touhou Fuhai nodded as he began the preparations, having Naruto sit crosslegged in the center of the plaza they had been training in as he began channeling his youki and creating a barrier around them as he began pouring it into the needles that he was drawing out. Once finished he looked at Naruto, the blond sitting there with a look of worry on his face as he seemed to be trying to argue with the Jubi about the plan but seemed to be unable to budge his partner.

"It is not too late to stop this." Touhou Fuhai said as he looked at the boy.

"Yes it is." Naruto sighed, shaking his head "He's made up his mind and he's a stubborn bastard. And as much as I hate it, he's right. We don't have time."

"Very well then." Touhou Fuhai nodded as he flipped over Naruto and sent the first needle into his left shoulder, getting the blond to look at it for a moment before it reacted creating a crater like impact on his shoulder that stretched the entire length of his shoulder before condensing down a smaller circle that was two fingers wide as the rippling flesh let out a small burst of blood while Naruto gritted his teeth at the sudden pain but didn't move an inch as he glared at it, before he blinked as he felt himself disjointed from reality for a moment.

Blinking Naruto felt like he was watching through another person's eyes as he gazed down at a familiar looking village and the forest stretching below him.

"Ready Jubi?!" Naruto's voice rang out.

"No." Jubi answered, causing Naruto to shudder as it felt like his own mouth was moving when the Jubi spoke "I have never once had an interest in flight."

"Ah, where's your sense of adventure! Besides this is a great way to test our powers!"

"No, it's a good way to get yourself killed!" Jubi/Naruto argued "There is a reason that we don't have WINGS!"

Before the last word could be spoken the body started moving and jumped off the top of the Hokage Monument as wings of shadow rose up from the back with heat emanating from them to keep them aloft as they glided.

Naruto blinked and found himself back in control of his own body, sitting in the park with a needle in his shoulder and hearing Touhou Fuhai speaking.

"Wow. You didn't even move after the sheer amount of pain that you just endured." Touhou Fuhai said with a note of respect in his tone "The tip of the needle that I just hit you with, is threaded with my own youki. This thread, when it enters your body it begins to burrow into you like a bug. It sews up and reconstructs your cells, helping to transform you from a Jinchuruki into a true youkai. In rough terms this is the "Human Modification Technique". One needle puts thousands of threads throughout your body. The pain you received is as if your body is being torn apart and put back together. The more needles I inject you with, the more the pain multiplies. And the total number of needles that I need to inject you with is 109. The number of threads going through your body will easily surpass one million, will you be able to survive until the final needle, Naruto Uzumaki?!"

More needles, and more flashes into what Naruto realized was the Jubi's mind.

"I see. So this is all about revenge. Grow up." Naruto said, blows being traded as he battled Hokuto at Youkai Academy.

"I could say the same for you." Jubi/Naruto sighed as he watched the battle "How long are you going to carry that anger in your heart. How long will you hide behind this mask? If one of the others is awake, this attitude of yours will only get us killed."

"Born again the Demon King, Ten Tails flailing as the Doom shall sing.

For with every step the world shall cry, Light or Dark one will die.

A Void of power and endless strife, shall herald a battle for all of Life.

And upon the end One shall fall, while the Other still stands tall" Jubi/Naruto repeated quietly as Naruto held the grimoire in his hands as they stood in the shack on the Witch's Knoll "Ten Tails is obviously a reference to either of us, though I am more inclined to think it is him... But the Demon King, and Doom... If Prota is awake it could be him, and Ereshkigal could be the Doom. This makes it seem like a battle is imminent, or unavoidable. Though it will depend on who is awake I suppose. Depending on who it is we might be able to avoid this whole thing... The future is not set in stone after all, all it will take is the right decisions to derail this prophecy before it can come to fruition."

With Naruto now blocking him Jubi/Naruto ceased his string of curses and extended his senses out through the youki, trying to sense exactly what dimension that they were currently in. It was familiar to him, but he had reached his senses out to many different dimensions throughout the centuries of his life.

"No, it couldn't be..." Jubi/Naruto trailed off in shock "We're back... Back where it all began." Pausing a thought occurred to him and he felt a ripple of worry "If Tepes is really dead like I sensed before, that means one of the others has to be awake instead... If it's any of those five, Naruto is as good as dead... But if it's one of the others, maybe we can talk it out, or reach a compromise of some kind. We're stuck here now so they may be more inclined to do nothing, or even let Naruto go back home."

Shaking his head Jubi/Naruto retracted his senses and let the matter roll in the back of his mind for a time, knowing that one way or another someone would have noticed their arrival here, and that it was only going to be a matter of time before they were approached.

The young teen was still unconscious, and Jubi/Naruto could feel the young shinobi's body adapting to his power rapidly, though controlling it was still a far stretch. Reaching into his memories Jubi/Naruto began seeing the life that Naruto had led up to this point, all of his struggles, all of his triumphs, all of his shortcomings, and all of his hopes and dreams.

"Remarkable young man... You'd have liked him Hagoromo." Jubi/Naruto mused quietly "He's a powerful, charismatic, and good human. A man after your own heart." He paused as he considered how best to approach dealing with the youth when he saw a prominent memory of Neji Hyuga's death "But he will not accept me offering the hand of friendship at this time. He hides it well, suppresses it better than any I have encountered, but there is darkness in his heart. He will not forgive me easily for what happened. It might be best to follow after Kurama's footsteps. Come across as hostile and indifferent and let his own natural charm seem like it's winning me over. He did this already once before, so I doubt it will take long for him to start trying to become friendly with me."

Nodding Jubi/Naruto relaxed inside of the seal as he waited for the youth to awaken, looking forward to spending time with the young man in the years to come.

"Are you certain that this is what you want?" Hagoromo asked.

"I am." Jubi/Naruto replied "We both know what is going to happen if you die and I am still whole. The seal helps balance me out, but without it I will begin to rampage again and try to reclaim what was stolen. It would be best for the world if I didn't exist any more."

"I disagree with that sentiment." Hagoromo countered "You have as much of a right to exist as any other being."

"And as you well know, without this seal I will kill every single person that carries the seeds of the fruit that was stolen. The number has increased beyond the few dozen that were around when your mother used her power to awaken me, and will continue to do so. It's a risk that we can't afford to take Hagoromo. I prefer it this way to be fair. I am nothing more than a fragment of what I once was, and as I can no longer go back to being what I once was without leaving a mountain of corpses behind me, I would rather pass my powers on to the next generation as it were. You did so with your sons, now aid me in doing so with my final children." Jubi/Naruto explained calmly.

"Very well then old friend." Hagoromo nodded "It has been the greatest of honors to have had you with me."

"And it was my pleasure to be with you old sage." Jubi/Naruto smiled "May your descendants know peace and prosperity."

Jubi/Naruto relaxed as Hagoromo began the process that would create the nine Biju, his final children.

"I would like your opinion on a matter." Hagoromo remarked, sitting under a tree on a fair summer evening.

"Oh?" Jubi/Naruto hummed.

"I intend to name a successor. Which of my two sons do you think would be best for the position."

"Surely you have already made up your mind on the matter." Jubi/Naruto snorted.

"I have made my considerations, but would like your advice." Hagoromo explained "Humor me, please."

"Fine." Jubi/Naruto sighed as he collected his thoughts "Indra is the more powerful of the two, the more talented. He has mastered Ninshu more easily and is a masterful fighter. But he is a lone predator. He relies on no one but himself. That isn't a trait that a leader should have. Asura might not have talent, but he has charisma, and he brings people together easily while bringing out the best in them. Of the two Asura is the more likely choice to lead this world to a better place, of truly passing on your teachings of Ninshu."

"I thought so as well." Hagoromo smiled.

"Indra will not take it well though." Jubi/Naruto warned "He will take it as an insult."

"I am sure that he will see the logic and understand why I choose Asura for this task. They are brothers, I trust that they will stand together." Hagoromo said simply.

Jubi/Naruto was silent, knowing that Hagoromo was being to optimistic in this matter and that it was far more likely that this would divide his children forever, destroying what Hagoromo intended to build.

"Ninshu?" Jubi/Naruto repeated.

"A means of connecting others." Hagoromo explained "Chakra should be used to connect everyone together, a means of understanding one another without communication. Words can be deceptive at times but hearts are honest, and with Ninshu there will be no doubt of the good will of others."

"I see." Jubi/Naruto nodded "A means of changing what your mother took from me and creating something better, something that will bring people together far more easily, get them to stand side by side in a way that no one will be able to doubt."

"Exactly." Hagoromo laughed.

"It could work." Jubi/Naruto nodded "Won't be easy but with hard work and good people at your side, you should be able to teach this Ninshu to the world, make it a better place."

"I am glad you agree. This will be a difficult task, but with your help it will be a possible dream!" Hagoromo smiled.

Jubi/Naruto felt sluggish as he awoke and began to move once again, feeling as though he had been stuck in a single spot for centuries. He could feel power resonating from individuals, power that was greater than what they should have had. The power resonated and drew him towards them, and he recognized it as his own power, spread out among these people.

"They shouldn't have this..." Jubi/Naruto said to himself, his words changing into monstrous sounds that no human could understand "That power is not theirs. It is mine. Give it back... Give it back... GIVE IT BACK!"

With a roar he lashed out, intent on reclaiming what had been taken from him.

Jubi/Naruto was motionless, anchored to the ground with powerful roots as he could feel power welling up. Restoring him, healing him, returning him back to his true godly might. He could tell that it would only take another season. One more season and he would be fully restored, strong enough to open the dimensional scar that still lingered, that he could sense the power of his home dimension. He would return to his home. He could sense Tepes was awake, and once he returned they would awaken the others and recast their votes, or he could offer the chance for those that were interested in leaving, a chance to join him, to come with him back to this dimension where they could start again, bringing about a new batch of youkai to the worlds and ensure their kind survived.

Sensing movement near him Jubi/Naruto was pulled from these thoughts as he sensed a being approaching him, approaching the branch that held the culmination of his power, The God Fruit.

"No. Go away." Jubi/Naruto thought to himself as the girl reached for the fruit "No. Don't do it!" The girl plucked the fruit from his branch, and as she took a bite all Jubi/Naruto could do was roar in anger as darkness swallowed him.

"Agh!" Jubi/Naruto roared in pain as the black flames struck his side, sending him skidding back as he saw the two in the air heading towards him now. Swinging one of his tails he created a shockwave that knocked them back as the fourth rushed in and slammed a fist into his chest, lifting him off the ground as the first charged in again, laughing as his flames licked at Jubi/Naruto. Landing Jubi/Naruto lashed out with his tails, slamming them into the four that were actively fighting him as the fifthmember only grinned at him as a powerful barrier appeared in front of him that rebounded the attempted assault with ease.

"He's putting up a better fight than I thought he would." the fourth one laughed with a grin "This is how it should be!"

"Don't get arrogant Resheph." The fifth chided "He is far from bested."

"Then we should speed this up before the others become aware of our endeavor." the male flying above remarked "Are you finished yet Shai?"

"Nearly so yes." Shai nodded.

"Heh." the first laughed as his flames burned brighter "You hear that Yggdrasil? Your time is up."

"Hardly Ifrit." Jubi/Naruto countered as he stood, his power raising higher and higher, getting four of them to tense in shock "I won't be killed by some young upstarts like you. I'll show you the power of one of the eldest Gods!" The tails swung again, sending massive shockwaves that knocked all five off balance as he he focused first on the two in the air, his tails shooting upward and slamming into them, sending the flying backwards and out of the range of the fight as Resheph rushed at him again, his smaller size making him a harder target to hit as he struck one of the descending tails, knocking it completely to the side as he jumped up and rained blows upon Jubi/Naruto that knocked them further back as Ifrit jumped up his own arms coated in his black flames as he lashed out at Jubi/Naruto's face, blinding him and bringing another roar of pain.

"Finished." Shai declared as Ifrit and Resheph retreated.

"You won't get away with this." Jubi/Naruto growled.

"Oh, but you won't be around to see it." Shai laughed as he raised his hands towards Naruto where thirteen talismins floated sending a concentrated blast of dimensional energies into Jubi/Naruto "You wish to leave this dimension, fine. You can go without us!"

Jubi/Naruto could feel the tear in the dimensional fabrics growing as he was shoved through the impromptu doorway that Shai had opened, the seals shearing through him and ripping away more and more power as he was blasted out of the dimension.

"NO!" A voice roared as he could sense the arrival of another.

"Tepes..." Jubi/Naruto muttered as he sensed the younger god arrive before the tear shut itself enough to lock Jubi/Naruto out as he slammed into the ground of another reality.

Glancing around and standing on trembling legs Jubi/Naruto realized that Shai had indeed banished him from their dimension and with his current power he would be unable to return.

"Heh. Well played you dimension hopping bastard." Jubi/Naruto growled as he dug his tails into the ground "But this is not the first time that I have had to go dormant to recover myself. I will be back. And when I am fully healed I will have the five of your heads for this. I so swear it."

Naruto screamed now as he lay on the ground in a pool of his own blood, pushing himself back up, needles piercing his flesh in a near haphazard fashion. Managing to get to his knees he saw Touhou Fuhai still standing there, one final needle held in his hand as he looked at Naruto with a mix of exhaustion and concern on his face.

"Needle 108." he said, indicating the last needle that he had hit him with "We're finally at the the last one, is what I would like to say, but the 109th needle is aimed at your heart and is the most dangerous one."

"Th-then... get it... get it over with." Naruto gasped out as his gaze locked onto the elder youkai "I'm... I'm not dead yet."

Touhou Fuhai stared for only a few moments before nodding his acceptance to the matter, as he sent the final needle flying into Naruto. The pain was worse than anything before this point and Naruto let you a scream that shook the entire dimension, his seal appearing in full now for several moments before it disappeared, leaving only the swirling pattern on Naruto's stomach as the indication that anything remained. There was a moment of nothingness before a blast of youki emerged from Naruto, sending the needles flying out of his flesh as other changes began to occur as well. The gravity seals on his arms shattered, his hair grew down to his shoulders, his nails grew out into sharpened points, his teeth sharpened, and his eyes changed from the cerulean blue into royal purple with slitted eyes.

Touhou Fuhai stared as Naruto finally stopped screaming, his body dropping towards the ground only for the shinobi's own shadow to raise up and gently lower him to the ground. Moving towards the youth he returned to his old man form as he touched his neck and felt the pulse was there and still beating strongly.

"Naruto!" Ruby shouted as she and the others came running seeing the blond laying there.

"He'll live." Touhou Fuhai said as he stepped back "He'll need time to rest before we really begin his training, but he should be many times stronger than he was before."

"Naruto-kun." Mizore said quietly as she leaned down to help pick him up, and blinked in shock as his shadow rose up and gently stroked her cheek, getting the girls to stare in shock at the shadow moving on it's own without Naruto consciously directing it. Lifting him they moved to one of the apartment buildings within the dimension, intent on letting him rest in as much comfort as they could find before resuming their own training.
