"What do you want Brigant?" I ask him.

"Let them be, the boy's won't do anything to there sister. The human boy, and the old witch won't be waking up anytime soon either, until we leave.

"Get to it." I said, not in any mood.

"Fine! Sookie is my blood, MY daughter. She is pure, and for the most part untouched. Telepathy is a curse sometimes. I only have one request. Wait until marriage at least to take her! I won't have my only daughter ruined before wedlock." A new tone came into his voice, and one I couldn't pin point.

"And if Sookie wants too? She won't like me denying her what we both want." I say honestly.

"Then ask her to marry you." Brigant said as if it was the most easiest solution in the world.

"Why do you suddenly demand this Brigant? Sookie is still partly human. You know our laws..." I point out. Folding my arms over my chest.

"By the end of the month the supernatural community will know Sookie is my daughter. You unfortunately are her mate, a well connected, powerful vampire sheriff on earth. I've heard rumours of Vampires crawling out of there coffins could happen sooner. I want my daughter well and truly protected, before your kind even get a whiff of her." I raised my eyebrows in surprised, upon hearing this news. I hadn't heard anything.

"And why should I believe you with this information fairy?" I say.

"Because I am part of the inner circle of the ancients, who created these rules we obey Northman. I want to walk my daughter down the isle pure, not tainted. If it has to be unfortunately you, I want to do this the right way. Her coming-out ceremony is on the full moon, at the end of the month of July. So we have two weeks left to prepare for a ball. Two weeks to decide, to make my daughter your true other half. IF Sookie was in Fairy she wouldn't have, had this much freedom. Our females are sacred, those that still follow and obey the right way. I don't want my only daughter stained."

"So the only way you'll accept myself and Sookie is by marrying her?" I ask him, feeling pretty pissed at being boxed into a corner. I could see his argument too, unfortunately which pissed me off even more.

"Yes! Even better if we can have the ceremony as the wedding reception."

"And where do you plan on having this? As a sheriff my queen and her party will unfortunately have to be invited, along with my other fellow sheriffs. As you've pointed out in the past Vampire's and Sheriff's do not mix..." I said. "IF Sookie and I have to go down this root, I want to do this at least our way, and I don't think Sookie will appreciate having loads of different minds surrounding her, as she is yet to even notice what a sneaky, slimey pain in the ass shifter, eavesdropping's mind is like." I say looking into the direction of the woods, I noticed Niall's head turn as well.

"This is the second time you've eavesdropped I believe Shifter." Brigant said.

"Come out on your own free will, and stop being a coward. Even though you heard nothing! We can still hear you." Hu! I guess Niall still had that spell cast over us all.

I just wanted to take my woman home, and do unspeakable things, things I shouldn't say or think about around this man, and her brothers! I also felt a little smug knowing that HE couldn't read my mind.

Being a Vampire had it's perks.

Hey everyone! Can't believe we are at chapter thirty already.

I'm okay, just stuff in my personal life. Ya'll know when people show their true colours but act differently around other people? So certain other people wouldn't believe a word you say?

I don't understand how people can switch on you. I like to call it split personality disorder! I'm also sort of looking for a new employment, so I'm dealing with a lot.

But getting back into the swing of things, now I've also re-read my story so I can get back up to date on Sookie and Eric. What do you all think of this chapter's contents?
