TR: You're back?

GV: Hold on, Tali. Let me get my helmet off, at least.

TR: Just thought I'd give you a taste of your own medicine. What was it this time?

GV: This time? The entire crew had been turned into husks.

TR: This really has been the best system, hasn't it?

GV: Yup, the best.

GV: This one had an extra dose of disturbing.

TR: More disturbing than the leftover creepers?

TR: More disturbing than the entire colony of husks?

TR: Great.

GV: At least with Chasca and Novacrux, the motivations weren't murky. Shepard was able to figure out why they happened. Crazy scientists in one situation, crazy terrorist-scientists in the other.

TR: This wasn't Cerberus?

GV: No. Well, I don't think so, The Cornucopia's logs show it was exploring along the border of the Perseus Veil. They found an alien artifact, steered the ship beyond the veil, and then were sent back out as husks.

TR: The geth are ruthless. A trap, do you think?

GV: Maybe. Or a warning. But who knows, with the geth? They were playing quarian music in the Armstrong Cluster, remember? This is what I mean about the motivations being murky. It's impossible to tell what they were really after.

GV: Doesn't matter, anyhow. There was no sign of the original artifact. I can't decide if that was a good thing or a bad thing.

TR: It could have maybe helped us with understanding the geth. Or finding Saren.

TR: On the other hand, I'm not sure how much more RAM Shepard's brain has available for any more ancient visions.

GV: Exactly.

TR: Nav notification just came through: we're hitting the relay in five minutes.

GV: Thank the Spirits. It'll be a relief to have this cluster in the rearview mirror.

TR: That makes two of us.

Chat ended.
