Here it is, the last chapter! Thanks to everyone who took the time to read my mental scribblings. I have a sequel in the works for this one, but not sure of a direction yet. If you got any ideas, let me know. Thanks again for reading!

Rio POV

I stood in the hanger, looking at Nikka's ship. The bay was quiet, since it was still very early in the morning and we were technically not fighting anyone seriously, at the moment. It felt nice to have some calm in my life.

Lana came into the hanger so quietly, I almost didn't hear her. She wrapped her arms around me as she took up a place at my side. I smiled down at her, wrapping a single arm around her shoulders, pulling her to me, then wrapping my other arm around her. I loved how Lana was finally getting used to openly showing me affection outside of each other's quarters. I think she was enjoying just being a woman, rather than an advisor or a fighter or a Sith.

"Do you think they made up?" She asked me.

Theron had gone in to talk to Nikka almost three days ago and no one had gone in or left the ship since.

"Either that or she killed him and she's taking her time deciding where to hide the body." I joked.

Lana laughed. It was nice to hear her laugh, after everything that happened to us. "Do you think we should call them? Check to make sure everything's okay?"

I thought about it for a moment, then shook my head. "No. The war between the Republic and the Empire is going to start heating up soon. We'll need to start thinking about where we'll fit in that war. Let's give them a few days. After everything they've been through, they deserve it." I looked down at Lana and gave her a quick kiss. "And so do we. It's still early and we have no reason to be up. Let's just go back to bed."

"You read my mind." Lana replied, taking me by the hand and led me back into the base.

Nikka POV

It had been four full days since I had left the ship. Theron had gone back to this quarters to change clothes and I was headed to the cantina, to see if I could find Rio. It was still breakfast time, so I figured if he wasn't in the control room, he'd probably be eating.

I was in luck, for when I entered his private room, he was indeed there, eating alone. He smiled up at me as I poured a cup of caf and took a seat next to him.

"Hey, good to see you alive. I was beginning to think you and Theron killed each other. I was about to send a search party."

"Oh, ha ha, very funny." I replied.

"I'm assuming Theron is still alive and you two are good again."

"Yes, he's still alive. He'll be joining us in a bit. He needed to change clothes. And yes, we're good. Very good, actually. Pretty much engaged, I think."

Rio gave me a weird look. "You think? You don't know?"

I shrugged. "Questions were asked, kind of. Responses were given, more/less. We honestly didn't do very much talking after the first day."

"Sounds just like both of you." Rio said, standing and crossing over to me. He hugged me where I sat and I hugged him back awkwardly. "Congratulations."

"I guess she told you then." Theron said, walking into the room.

"She did." Rio said, pulling Theron into a hug, too. Rio released him, but kept a hand on Theron's shoulder. "I look forward to having you as a brother in law officially."

"Don't go planning the wedding just yet." I said, rescuing Theron from my brother's gaze. "We've agreed to have a nice long engagement. We'll get to the marriage part when we get there. No rush."

"Of course, no rush, but I'll be happy to marry you when the time comes."

"We'll keep that in mind, Rio. Now sit down and finish your breakfast and let Theron get something to eat, too."

Theron leaned in and gave me a quick kiss before sitting down next to me and helping himself to food. I couldn't help but think how happy I was, at the moment. I had the two most important men in my life sitting with me, safe and happy.

It was a good way to start the day. A good way to start a new chapter in all our lives.

The End...for now...
