AN: Just a fun chapter but necessary as it will lead to bigger things. I alluded to Hestia having plans for this in much earlier chapters and Merlin in space working on it. Enjoy. The dungeon is the next chapter.
casablanca1317:- Thank you! I hope you continue to support this fic and read and review. It will be a long journey as I haven't finished the first arc yet.
Surfysun95:- Bell is just around the corner. I just need to set up his scenes a bit more but trust me, once he hits level three he will become more regular along with Ais.
Smatt9411:- That it did! Glad you liked it. Thank you for the support.
Yoshiki-909:- Yes they aren't blood related so it wouldn't be wrong. Unfortunately, Shirou has five other girlfriends, Rin and the fact that he see's Illyasviel as his sister. We'll see where it goes.
Phantom Thief of Hearts:- LOL! Yeah! Not to mention Rin and Miyu either. I think I remember seeing the amazon one as well or was it a doujin? Didn't he fight them off with his lunchboxes? I can't remember and am too lazy to do research. Finally, I'm sure Fou can teleport although I can't remember in the game whether or not he does it himself or if it's Chaldea that teleports him. I'm going for him teleporting himself cause he's OP like that, especially once he grows up. He will have his adventures soon.
PittBullBytes:- Yeah. Da Vinci's been coaching her. Wait till you see what she demands off Loki familia because drops and gems just don't cut it when you're a multi-billionairess.
AzureKaiser:- Illya is all kinds of fun. Fun that only OP kids can have! Who will ever know if she meant it.
Hercules10hhao:- One does of absolute power coming right up. Lets hope Da Vinci can keep Hestia from being absolutely corrupted… or was she the cause of it in the first place!

Chapter 34 - Party
When Rider Sakata Kintoki had suggested to Liliruca Arde that they should take a night out on the town to stretch their legs and relax she had thought it was a good idea. With him around her, she felt confident that she would not be threatened or harassed by anyone that wasn't a first-class adventurer. By her estimate, that was what Kintoki was.
However, she did not expect to be riding on his back, while he was scaling the walls of Babel Tower, with his bare hands. If she wasn't scared enough by that, she was terrified that he was also racing his friends up the sheer walls instead carefully climbing the tower. There were many moments when she thought they would die.
It took roughly an hour for the group to speedily make its way up to the top of the tower where they found a nice flat, open space of about twelve-hundred square meters. When they got to the top, a woman was already there sitting cross-legged in the middle of the space. What really drew attention to her was the two, large purple horns protruding from her forehead and the massive blue gourd she was leaning against. She sipped delicately on her saucer as her gaze fell upon Kintoki.
"Shuten Doji." Kintoki uttered to himself as a small half-smile graced his features.
"Kintoki…" she drawled. "Drink first, die later."
He just shook his head as he helped Berserker Tamamo Cat unload her backpack and set up the portable barbeque. Lancer Cu Chulainn pulled out what could only be described as a cylindrical tube with grills on each end. Tapping his Hphone led to noise coming out of the cylinder as the air filled with a loud scream, "BOOOORRRN TO BE WIIIIIILLDDD!" Rock and Roll had come to Orario.

Goddess Freya was having a nice sleep. It had been a good day for her. When her morning newspaper was delivered to her with her coffee, she remembered the glee she felt as she read the headline, 'Goddess Ishtar, Whore of Babylon Humiliated!'. This only cemented her decision to take out a subscription to the Orario Times. It had to be Hestia familia again, no one else would have the gall to do it.
It should have been a nice sleep, except for what sounded like people climbing the walls of Babel Tower. This she dismissed in her half-asleep state as not being possible and most likely just a dream. The loud wailing of what could roughly be translated as music never before heard in Orario, echoed into her room and woke her with a jolt.
Wanting to know what the racket was and where all the noise was coming from, Freya stuck her head out the window to have a look at what was happening. What she didn't expect to see was a few more people climbing up the walls, barehanded. By the colour of their souls, Freya knew, this was Hestia familia. A woman with long purple hair stopped mid-climb and looked Freya's way. "We're just here for the view. I hope we're not too noisy. It is a party after all. Why don't you join us? It is your roof after all."
Too noisy was an understatement. Freya was sure all Orario could hear the ruckus they were making, especially from the top of Babel tower. A loud banging from her door told Freya that someone had just barged into her room. "Lady Freya! Are you alright?" It was her ever-faithful captain, Ottar.
Once Ottar entered the room he saw a woman leaning through the window hands outstretched towards Freya. He recognised her instantly. "Lancer Scathach."
Freya turned to the woman. So this was the infamous Lancer Scathach who had defeated her Ottar. Smirking, she realised this was a chance in a lifetime, presented to her on a platter. A chance to get up close and mingle with the Hestia familia unknowns. She reached out her hand to accept the offer from Scathach but instead of being helped up by the hand, Scathach leaned forward and grabbed her by the waist before disappearing out the window and leaping up onto the roof.
Ottar ran for the window and with a grunt of exertion, he began scaling the wall to reach the rooftop. Once he got there he could only gape in wonder at the scene before him. The party was in full swing. Looking up he saw the giant Hestia familia airship pulling above the tower. A rope ladder was released allowing even more members of the Hestia familia to descend onto the roof. Among them was the green of Herme's cloak as he descended upon the roof with some sort of contraption around his neck.

Hermes was excited. He had really started to get into journalism and he found he really got along well with Caster William Shakespeare and the freedom of press ethos. 'The public have a right to know' was a motto that resonated with him. When he was told what was happening tonight he begged for the chance to cover it for the Orario Times. It was history in the making and he was going to bear witness to it. Even better was that the 'camera' he had been given would forever capture the moment for him to re-enjoy later. He began snapping candidly at the gathered crowd, already thinking of potential headlines. His Hestion EOS digital SLR camera picking up every detail of the crowd, even in the low light. He was looking forward to the main event and wondering how Hestia was going to pull it off. He had no doubt that her children were about to do the impossible… again and he wasn't going to miss it for the world.
ooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooo
Hestia had landed on the rooftop wearing a flowing red satin gown, escorted by Bell in a tuxedo. She was enjoying the sight of her children having so much fun and clinging tightly onto Bell. Hermes approached her and took a photo of the two so Hestia couldn't help but pose with her first familia member.
Da Vinci came up to her after the photo and whispered into her ear. She grimaced for a second then nodded her head. Hestia motioned for Hermes to follow so he did. Ever since she had offered him this new position and this new job, his admiration for Hestia and Hestia familia was growing, slowly but surely. He was just happy he could get a new aspect.
Freya watched as Hestia approached her smiling. "Hi Freya! I hope you're enjoying the party?"
Freya gave Hestia a half-smile. This was unusual for Hestia to be so proactive. What was her aim? "Hello, Hestia. Nice party you're having here. Food. Wine…" She looked around at all the wonderful souls and marveled at their colour and radiance, "…amazing children."
"Why thank you." Hestia motioned to Hermes who nodded and stepped forward with his camera already at his eye. "How about a photo to commemorate."
The two stood side by side as they cheerfully raised a flute of wine in a pose. Hestia giggled to herself after the photo and Freya couldn't work out why. But that was of little consequence. She would use this party to get to know Hestia familia a bit better. Ottar had finally reached her and ever the faithful guard, had taken a position behind her and to her right. She sipped at her wine, then her eyes widened. Soma wine. Not the failed product but the final product. She threw the rest back as she savoured the flavour before making her way to the bar.
When she got to the table set up with various wines she saw a beauty with long horns protruding out of her forehead sipping on a saucer, staring at the night sky. What mesmerised Freya was the fact that she wasn't a cows, her soul was also as radiant as the others, but more importantly, she could not feel the touch of a falna. Here at this party, she had finally found another soul that interested her, and she was available.
Mustering all her charm and grabbing a flute of Soma wine she approached the lady. "Care for a little company?" The charm radiating off her would have melted most men into puddles.
Shuten Doji however just narrowed her eyes as an evil smile made its way to her lips. "Charmed, I'm sure." She casually replied, definitely not charmed.
Shuten stood up and swayed towards Freya, cupping Freya's chin in one hand delicately and stared deep into her eyes. "My… As rumoured, you sure are a pretty one." Shuten remarked as her own active charm skill kicked into overdrive, "What can I do for you, O goddess of love and sex?" She asked as her long tongue delicately traced a line up Freya's neck and cheek.
Freya was momentarily stunned before she quickly took a step back. Looking at the ground to break eye contact, she fought to control her breathing as her heart pounded to the music in the background. Her skinned rippled in goosebumps as she felt a slight wetness start between her legs. The goddess of love was fighting against being charmed. She who charmed others had just discovered that a passive charm ability was trumped by an active charm ability. It would take her Arcanum to out-charm this one.
Shuten chuckled. "Drink."
So the two of them emptied their drinks down their throats before Shuten poured them each a new drink from her blue gourd. Freya finally composed herself enough to ask, "You must be new to Orario. I haven't seen you around before. Are you Hestia familia too?"
"No. I'm just an acquaintance. I just like to visit now and then. Maybe even kill one of them. It's fun."
Freya was surprised by such a frank admission. Even more so when the woman was obviously just openly and casually partying with the familia of her target. "Does he or she know you intend to kill them?"
"Of course." Shuten smirked, "I've been trying to do so since he was a little boy. But you know, these kinds of things require the right mood first."
Freya was confused. Mood for a love story was one thing, mood for an assassination was another. Maybe it was a warrior thing. Shaking her head, she decided to risk it, "Would you like to join my familia? I would be more than happy to have you."
A melodious laugh left Shuten's lips. Sipping back more wine she shook her head. "Sorry. I have other plans."
Then a thought crossed her mind. "Are you a demon?"
"Am I?" she answered with a question.
Freya finally realised, she was drinking Soma wine with an unknown species. Soma had said a demon had stolen all his wine. The woman before her exuded a feel not unlike a demon but at the same time she was not a demon. At least according to Freya. Freya almost choked, she was taking and enjoying a proceed of crime.
ooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooo
Bell Cranel was enjoying dancing with his goddess and with his familia members. He enjoyed the dancing from their culture. If he had to describe it, it was less formalised than what he was used to and more about just getting out there and having fun… and shaking 'booty' whatever that was.
Shirou traced a saxophone and threw it Kintoki who grinned before putting it to his lips and he started to play the instrument. When Bell heard the tune, he realised he was familiar with it, so he grabbed his goddess by the hand and said, "We have to dance to this one goddess! We have to sing along as well!"
Hestia turned bright crimson, but she was happy. Happy that Bell was holding her hand, happy that Bell was so forward and happy that she was dancing with him. She enjoyed her familia's dance culture as well. No rules and regulations and steps to follow. Just have fun. "I don't know the words though?"
"Don't worry goddess. There's only one word!"
Hestia wondered what he meant. When the saxophone blared its tune to a point, the sound stopped and everyone on that rooftop yelled out "TEQUILA!"

Liliruca Arde was enjoying herself as she wobbled around the dance floor happily. The 'coke' that Shuten had given her was beyond anything she had ever tasted before. She felt happy and on cloud nine. She danced as she marveled at Kintoki's familia all happily dancing around her. Tamamo Cat had been her main dance partner but it felt good to actually be included. She felt that this is what a familia should be like, a family.
She made it back to the table set up for drinks and saw Freya there chatting with Shuten. "Lady Assassin, could Lily get another coke?"
'Lady Assassin'? Freya raised an eyebrow to the title. Was this demon some sort of assassin? Shuten giggled at the girl as she poured out a coke and added a little extra from another of her gourds strapped around her arm. Lily finished the drink in one go and glazed over happily presenting her cup for another glass of coke.
She stood out like a sore thumb to Freya. In a sea of legendary souls, this little pallum was mediocre at best and she had somehow managed to score tickets to what Freya was imagining as the most exclusive party in Orario. "And who may you be little miss?" Freya asked the girl curiously as she applied her charm.
Lily turned to Freya with a small smile and snapped off a salute as she answered. "Liliruca Arde, Pallum supporter. Please call me Lily."
"Oh! Are you Hestia familia's supporter?"
"Lily is Soma familia, but Lily is sick of Soma familia and wants to get out. Rider said he will help Lily leave. Rider is Lily's hero." She had a huge adoring look on her face.
Soma familia? Freya smiled as she grabbed a glass of Soma wine off the table and handed it to the girl. This is what all Soma familia joined the familia for wasn't it? Lily looked at the glass before draining it in one go, wiped her mouth and frowned a little. "This stuff is good, but not as good as Lady Assassin's coke. Lily would like another coke please."
Once Shuten filled her glass Lily wandered back off to find Tamamo and have another dance, or maybe Kintoki if he finished playing the sax. Freya could only be amazed that a mortal had just completely shrugged off Soma wine as if it were a soft drink. She turned to Shuten. "Could I get a glass of coke too?"
Shuten nodded as she proceeded to pour the goddess a glass of coke and added her extra touches to it. Freya sipped the coke and her eyes grew wide. She recognised the taste. This woman was spiking the pallum's drink and of all things, with divine sake. Sake made from the gods for the gods with godly means, not restricted by human methods. "Divine sake!? How did you ever get this stuff? It shouldn't be down here."
Shuten laughed. "Glad you know what it is. Better than Soma's stuff isn't it!"
"How?"
"Well, where there's a will there's a way." Cryptic but not a lie. More importantly, she avoided the topic completely.

It was later on that night that the music was switched off and Caster Da Vinci stepped forward and announced to everyone there that night, that the time was near. Hermes had anticipated this moment from the first he had heard of the plan. It was history in the making. All eyes gazed out towards the stars. Shirou, started breaking out little round cylinders and placing them into a pot.
What seemed like a star, turned into a comet which turned into a flaming meteor in the sky. They watched on for almost half an hour as the object slowly descended. Hermes was going crazy taking shot after photo shot of the event. Freya could only gaze on in wonder. Hestia familia was doing something outrageous again. She didn't know what it was but it would be sure to amuse.
As the object neared Da Vinci started a countdown, "Ten… nine… eight… seven… six… five… four… three… two… one!"
As the last number was counted down, the object, obviously a massive rock of some sort, crashed into the earth outside Orario. Massive clouds of dust lifted up into the air around them and rolled towards the city. A strange monster was seen in the sky above the mountain and a huge gust of wind blew away all the dust clouds instantly. But Freya felt the power behind it, as did Hermes and Hestia. It was a divine power and yet it was not. It had traces of divinity in it yet it was not Arcanum. Then as quickly as the feathered beast appeared, it disappeared. Freya stared at Hestia as Hermes asked her a question. "What was that? Did you know about this?"
"Well I certainly didn't expect that…." Even Hestia had to start wondering about her children now. This was definitely a subject to bring up with Da Vinci… Maybe later when there was no one else around.
The sight before them, after the dust clouds settled left them speechless. Where there was once empty land, there now stood a massive cone-like mountain. Hestia was stunned. Da Vinci walked towards her with a look, half amused and half satisfied. "Lady Hestia, as promised, your very own mountain. Mount Fuji."
"You really did it. I can't believe you actually managed to do it. With no Arcanum either!" Hestia was bewildered. "I knew you were telling the truth but to see it live…"
"Ahhh! How glorious! To think I would see history in the making once more… To think you weren't kidding when you said you intended to build a mountain!" Hermes was glad he had managed to capture the event with his camera.
Suddenly the music was back on blaring, "WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS, MY FRIEND! AND WE'LL KEEP ON FIGHTING TILL THE END! WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS, WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS! NO TIME FOR LOSING CAUSE WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS… OF THE WORLD!"
The sky erupted in a cacophony of explosions and dazzling lights as Shirou set off the fireworks. Drinks were lifted up to the heavens as everyone continued to celebrate into the night.
