SmackDown: 10/5/2001
SmackDown kicked off from the Hartford Civic Center in Connecticut, Chris Jericho battled Christian. Edge accompanied his brother to the ring, so just as the match was set to begin, Chris Benoit strolled to ringside to even the odds. After Edge tripped up Jericho as Y2J went for the Lionsault, Benoit attacked Edge, and the two went at it at ringside. In the melee, Christian tossed Y2J into Edge, and Christian then rolled Jericho up for the pinfall!
Backstage, the Undertaker and Bladewolf were shown arriving at the arena when Vince McMahon stopped them. "Now what?" Undertaker asked, annoyance in his voice.
"Now hand on one second." Vince told them. "I've been waiting for you both, alright? I'm not looking for any trouble, hopefully neither of you are as well. Now, I just want to make sure you and Stone Cold can co-exist in the same building at the same time tonight. Now, Austin is already here."
"That's good." Undertaker nodded.
"Now that you've both had this cooling off period last Monday." Vince said. "I wanna let you know if there is any physically between you two and Austin it could place your title contention at Judgement in jeopardy, Undertaker. I just wanna make sure...are you cool?"
"Yeah boss, we're cool." Undertaker nodded.
"You don't gotta worry Vince, we're just gonna be as cool as the wind." Bladewolf said with a small smirk before he and Undertaker walk past Vince and head off.
After their paths crossed last Thursday on SmackDown and last Monday on RAW IS WAR, Raven took on Albert in a one-on-one battle. X-Pac and Justin Credible of X-Factor provided color commentary for the bout.
The monstrous Albert defeated Raven following a Baldobomb.
Backstage, Bladewolf and Undertaker found Austin's locker room and nod at each other as Undertaker has the chain in hand, Bladewolf with his baseball bat, and they storm in. "Austin!" Undertaker called but found no Austin, only his locker room. "Dammit! He's not here!"
"Well then, we'll wait for him." Bladewolf suggested, sitting down and making himself at home as did Undertaker, who found chewing tobacco and offred Bladewolf some but he shook his head.
Moments later, Stone Cold was seen in Mr. McMahon's locker room, yelling at McMahon and Debra that Undertaker and Bladewolf had no right being in his locker room. Austin said that if it wasn't for Taker's chain and Bladewolf's damn baseball bat, he would go in and get his stuff. Mr. McMahon promised to think of something.
Spike Dudley and Molly Holly walked backstage, and Molly told Spike how impressed she was when he put Albert through a table on RAW. Crash approached the two, and he didn't seem happy that Spike was talking to his cousin! Crash challenged Spike to meet him in the ring later in the night on SmackDown.
The Undertaker and Bladeowlf were going through Austin's stuff, Bladewolf checking out one of Austin's shirts before he threw it aside when they heard a knock on the door. "It's open!" Undertaker said.
A deliver man with beers in hand came into the room. "I'm supposed to deliver this for Stone Cold." He said.
"Just lay them here, we'll make sure he gets them." Bladewolf said as he pulls out some cash. "And here's a tip for you delivering them. Don't spend all at once." the guy leaves as Bladewolf grabs a beer and relaxes, Undertaker doing the same.
An irate Rattlesnake watched on, steaming at Taker and Bladewolf's actions.
Coach interviewed Triple H backstage, and the Game said that his business relationship with Rikishi was now officially over. Triple H said that no one puts his hands on Stephanie.
Coach then reminded the Game that Rikishi hadn't put his hands on Stephanie - and the Game chased Coach away, irate that Coach had brought up the Stink Face!
In six-person tag action, the Hardy Boyz and Lita took on the Goodfather, Bull Buchanan, and Ivory of the Right to Censor. The Right to Censor did not have Steven Richards at ringside, as the group is apparently looking for a new leader! As the match got underway, Eddie Guerrero strolled out to the stage, and moments later, he tripped up Bull, allowing Matt to hit the Twist of Fate and pinfall.
In Mr. McMahon's locker room, the Federation chairman suggested to Stone Cold that there was only one person who could safely go into the Rattlesnake's locker room and get his stuff - Debra! Stone Cold said that was the best idea he'd heard all day, and he told his wife to go to his locker room and get his stuff.
Moments later, Debra entered Stone Cold's locker room. "Undertaker, Bladewolf, I'm gonna ask you once and I will ask politely, you two need to leave my husband's dressing room right now."
"Debra, wanna beer?" Bladewolf asks, offering her a beer but she smacks it away. "Jeez, you need to learn to relax and get loose. I'll be happy to teach you how." He smirks with a raised eyebrow and she blushed yet was disgusted at what he was suggesting, despite admitting he was handsome.
"Easy there, little brother." Undertaker chuckled at his brother's teasing. "Now Debra I told you once, this has nothing to do with the wives. But I do want you to go back and give Steve a message from me."
"And what is that?" Debra asked with a raised eyebrow.
Undertaker spat on her dress with the chewing tobacco and she leaves disgusted.
Bladewolf chuckles. "Bet it ain't the first time she got marked."
Looking to gain a measure of revenge after Rikishi gave Stephanie a Stink Face on RAW, Triple H took on the 400-pounder on SmackDown! Prior to the bout, Stephanie said that Rikishi had made her look ridiculous on RAW, and a woman in her position couldn't afford to look ridiculous. She promised that Triple H would make Rikishi look ridiculous on SmackDown!
Rikishi laughed at the Billion-Dollar Princess as he walked to the ring.
With Rikishi prone, Triple H held the 400-pounder so that Stephanie could slap him. Moments later, Test ran to the ring to attack Triple H, and Big Show followed soon after to assault Test. A melee ensued, and it looked like Rikishi was going to give Stephanie another Stink Face! But Rikishi became sidetracked with the Big Show, and Triple H saved his wife. Rikishi still got to back that ass up, though - after a savate kick and an avalanche, the Big Show was easy prey for the Stink Face! Test and Rikishi just laughed as an irate Big Show left the ring!
An incensed Debra told Stone Cold and Mr. McMahon how the Undertaker had spat tobacco all over her, and Austin told McMahon that sending her in was the dumbest idea he's ever heard! Mr. McMahon said he had another idea - a superstar in mind who could get Taker and Bladewolf out of the locker room.
In the parking area, Stephanie and Triple H got into a limo and left the arena - Stephanie said she was absolutely petrified of getting another Stink Face.
In a grudge match set up earlier in the evening, Spike Dudley took on Crash Holly. Bubba Ray and D-Von accompanied Spike to the ring, while Hardcore and Molly Holly were behind Crash. Spike would pick up the win, surprising Crash with a roll-up. Crash was livid after the match, as Spike's win seemed to come from nowhere!
Mr. McMahon walked back into his locker room with Commissioner William Regal.
McMahon and Austin tried to convince Regal to get Taker and Bladewolf out of Austin's locker room, and it seemed that Regal didn't want to! Finally, Mr. McMahon convinced Regal that they would listen to reason, and Regal agreed to try and talk to the Dead Man and the Demon Wolf.
Moments later, Regal was about to knock on the door to Austin's locker room, but he kept stopping himself from doing so.
Next up, Edge took on Chris Benoit, and the sides were even once again - Edge was seconded by Christian, and Benoit was seconded by Jericho. The referee was soon knocked out, so there was no one to see Edge tap out to Benoit's Crossface. In fact, at the same time that was happening in the ring, Jericho had Christian locked in the Walls of Jericho on the entranceway! Taking advantage of the situation, Kurt Angle attacked Benoit, nailing him with an Olympic slam. Three seconds later, Edge had pinned Benoit, and E&C had gone 2-0 on the night!
Undertaker and Bladewolf were shown in Austin's locker room, drinking one of the beers when there was a knock on the door. "Yeah?" Undertaker said and Regal walked in.
"Oh look brother, it's the goodwill ass kisser coming to search for his missing set of balls." Bladewolf chuckled.
Regal ignored that insult. "I've come to inform you both that you are trespassing."
Undertaker stood. "Trespassing?"
"You and your brother here are trespassing in Stone Cold's-"
"No, no, no." Undertaker cut him off. "You walked through that door right?"
"Yes." Regal nodded, confused on where Undertaker was going with this.
"Not Stone Cold Steve Austin, it says Undertaker and Bladewolf's yard, clear and simple." Undertaker said.
"You listen to me, you are trespassing! You need to take yourself and your brother out of here!" Regal ordered the two brothers.
Undertaker just poured tobacco juice all over Regal and he left the locker room, the two brothers smirking. "It's good for your hair!" Undertaker said.
"And it makes you smell in a way! but not in a good way." Bladewolf chuckles as he and Undertaker clink their beer cans together and sit back down.
Lilian Garcia interviewed Rhyno about his Hardcore Title defense against Bradshaw on SmackDown! Rhyno said he was a hardcore man in a hardcore world, and he promised to defeat the tough Texan.
Back in Stone Cold's dressing room, the Undertaker snapped, and started throwing stuff around. Bladewolf stood back and watched before they left the room, having waited long enough, but not before Bladewolf takes Austin's Tag Team Title and Undertaker takes the WWF Championship.
In a bout for the Hardcore Championship, Rhyno defended against Bradshaw. The wicked, brutal encounter ended in the backstage area, when Big Show chokeslammed Bradshaw through a platform onto the concrete floor, allowing Rhyno to score the pin and retain his title.
In the arena, the Undertaker's theme hits and the American Badass comes out on his motorcycle with Bladewolf joining him on the motorcycle he rode for his entrance at WrestleMania 17. The two brothers drive down the ramp and circle the ring before they park their motorcycles on the ramp facing the stage then get off and enter the ring with Austin's titles in hand.
Undertaker grabs a microphone. "This whole night hasn't been about Judgement Day, it hasn't been about the WWF Title, although i must say it looks damn good on me. Tonight I wanted to find out if Stone Cold Steve Austin as a man and had a set. Now my brother and I waited all night in his damn dressing room and he didn't show his face. So what i'd like to know now, is Stone Cold ready to come down here and get his ass kicked?"
Undertaker says something to Bladewolf who nods just as Vince McMahon's theme hits and out comes the WWF Chairman. "You know something, I asked you when you both showed up whether or nor you cooled off. I asked if you two and Stone Cold could coexist in the same arena on the same night, you both said you could, but tonight says otherwise. As far as wondering what kind of a man Stone Cold is, he's twice the man you two are. Austin wouldn't come out here with a damn chain. No, Austin doesn't need a weapon. If Austin was gonna cal you out, he'd call you out like a real man. So if you are a real man, Undertaker, why don't you take that chain off your neck and drop it outside the ring."
Undertaker does so, saying he doesn't need the chain, or Austin's vest. But he made no move to take off the WWF Championship, something Vince points out to him and tells him to drop that in the corner as well. Undertaker does so and tosses it out of the ring near the announce tables.
Austin's theme soon hits and Bladewolf gets out the ring as per Undertaker's orders and he watches as Austin runs down the ramp, slide into the ring and goes at it with the Undertaker. The Taker and the Rattlesnake exchanged blows in the ring, and with Taker in control, Mr. McMahon got in the ring and was about to smack Undertaker with the steel chair when Bladewolf grabs it and pulls it out of Vince's hand.
Vince turns only to be grabbed by the throat, lifted up...AND PLANTED WITH A CHOKESLAM!
With Taker distracted, Austin attacked, takes Undertaker down then the Bladewolf. He picked up the chair, about to do more damage when the stage pyro goes off and Kane's theme plays as the Big red Machine makes his return. Austin rolled out the ring to attack Kane but is met with a big boot to the face.
Austin was soon trapped between Taker, Bladewolf and Kane, and he ran into the crowd to get away from the Brothers of Destruction! Taker, Bladewolf and Kane celebrated their family reunion as SmackDown went off the air!
