Author's Note: Hey! Sorry this took so long, been kinda addicted to playing DOOM lately. Anyways, time for some action! Nuba meets our heroes at last! Let's see how things will go.

Disclaimer: I DO NOT OWN KUNG FU PANDA.

Enjoy.

The Tiger's Wrath

Nuba feels the hardened glares of the four kung fu masters, standing ready in their stances in front of the weeping Tigress and her comforting panda. So much hope and it led you to this. Her sneer remains on her face, though her eyes look upon the crumpled excuse of a fighter in revulsion.

As the Jade Palace warriors look upon their adversary, anticipating the white tiger's impending attack, master Crane picks up on what she had first said. "So, you're responsible for this too." He darkly confirms, his yellow orbs poisoned with a caustic stare. At the avian master's statement, his comrades' faces shift into a menacing expression as they continue to gaze upon the sadistic killer.

Amethyst eyes drift towards a lone skull laying on the floor. Placing her foot on top of the bony remnant, images of her genocidal rampage flash through Nuba's mind. A nostalgic hum seeps out of the white tiger, "Hm. Probably the most fun I've ever had." She comments with only a twinge of fondness present in her cold voice as she rolls the decayed skull away. She looks up to the four masters whose countenance remains seared with a focused sense of ire. Yet this is only for a moment as her subject of interest shifts to the traumatised tiger master behind them. Seeing that the orange feline's sobs have now been reduced to choked sniffles, Nuba takes a step towards her with a feigned look of concern on her face. "Oh. Your friend. Is she okay?" She asks in a mockingly innocent voice.

"You stay away from her!" Viper hisses, shifting into an offensive stance at Nuba's sudden movement with her fellow masters following suit.

Ignoring this sign of aggression, Nuba kneels down and calls out to Tigress, "Little kitty? Are you okay?" She inquires, keeping her mocking tone. "Do you remember me?" She adds in a quieter voice. Because I certainly don't remember you.

Po clutches Tigress tighter, knowing that she is no position to fight right now, and gives the white tiger a deep scowl. Unbeknownst to him, Tigress lifts her head from his chest just enough to look over his shoulder. Just enough to get a good look at Nuba. Just enough for her eyes to register the murderer's amethyst orbs.

Amber eyes widen as the same amethyst orbs from her memory flash through her mind again. Her left eye twitches slightly as she continues to stare at the demented white tiger. Her grip on the dragon warrior only gets tighter whilst her mind comprehends just what this means. Her body trembles for a brief moment before her thoughts are silenced. Before her hearing is silenced. Before the whole world is silenced. The only thing that remains… Are those amethyst orbs. Tigress' paws grip the panda warrior even tighter, unknowingly unsheathing her claws right into his back.

"Ow! Ow!" Po noisily complains, feeling a dreadful stinging pain where Tigress' right paw is. He turns his head towards his feline companion, "Tigress, what are you… Doing?" He trails off, his voice shrinking in fear as his eyes do the same.

He can hardly recognise the creature he sees before him. Her unbearably ferocious scowl engraved onto her face. Her sharp teeth now gritted and laid bare as spit dribbles down her chin. He hears the low, demonic growl emanating from her throat, shaking him to his core. The one thing that terrifies him the most however, is her eyes. Her pupils are now dilated completely, consuming her beautiful amber orbs, and replacing them with a soulless obsidian. No trace of her kindness or empathy remains within in them, only a vicious and undying rage. He needn't think twice of who that rage is directed towards. Her growls become more intense as her breathing gets heavier. She lifts her head up fully with Po's ears catching the sound of the pebbles below them moving slightly.

Nuba watches Tigress closely, seeing her monstrous transformation with an insidious intrigue. Well, I expected anger, but I didn't think it'd happen this quickly. She resists the urge to smile at the master's angered state and stands up, backing away slightly in preparation for what the broken feline will do next.

Seeing Nuba and hearing Po's reactions to their leader, the four masters risk taking a look back to the tiger only to be paralysed in shock. "Dear Gods." Crane whispers breathlessly. Though they have seen her ferocity many times before, this… This is something much different. Something much more dangerous.

Tigress ignores all of these stares aside from one. The monster who had taken away her parents… Her village… Had thrown her life into a tidal wave of unforgiving loneliness. Her head has gone numb, her rational thoughts now eradicated. She hears a voice screaming at her nearby, but for her it is only panicked and unintelligible garble. There is only one thing that her mind can comprehend. One dark voice that seems so foreign yet so deeply embedded within her that she welcomes it. As her blackened eyes bore into her target, she hears the voice's guttural command.

Kill.

Po feels the tiger master move slightly in his arms and desperately shouts, "Tigress, wait!" But he is too late. She breaks free of his embrace and throws him away Before she sprints on all fours with her claws out. She leaps past her comrades and lets out a beastly roar as she speeds towards her target, her vision clouded in crimson.

Nuba's eyes narrow in concentration as the maddened tiger pounces towards her. "Jiangshi!" She calls out before swiftly dodging Tigress' pounce. As Tigress misses two wild claw strikes on the white tiger, Nuba kicks her farther away from her comrades and follows to continue the fight.

"Tigress!" Monkey calls out as the five warriors quickly recover from their shock and go to assist their ferocious leader. As they walk towards the two warring tigers however, they are caught off guard by Jiangshi barrelling through the weak house right next to them, causing an ear-shattering boom to reverberate around the cavern. With Rubble flying everywhere and a cloud of dust parading from the broken hole of the house, the five are unable to prepare themselves for the beast's attack. Jiangshi delivers a devastating punch to Po's stomach which sends him flying straight into Crane and Monkey, knocking all three of them down. The monstrous creature then raises its fists in the air to smash the two remaining warriors, but Viper and Mantis manage to quickly evade, resulting in the creature hitting the ground with such force that it cracks the rocky floor. All five members look towards the monolith now blocking their path towards their friend, completely bewildered by this unexpected combatant.

Only four of the members shift into their fighting stances and engage the beast, whilst Po clutches his stomach and revels in his pain. Mantis goes first, jumping up to the brute's hulking chest and hitting several nerve points on its body before hopping back. It barely even flinches from this attack, startling the insect greatly. Whilst he looks on at the hulking titan in awe, Viper wraps herself around the beast's right arm in an effort to use its arm against it. Jiangshi manages to keep its arm in place, causing the serpent to waste more of her strength in trying to move the thing. Glazed amber orbs catch Crane attempting to fly towards Tigress. Before the avian can even make it anywhere near his feline comrade, the beast captures him with its free hand and slams him onto the ground head-first. Monkey narrowly leaps over his dazed companion and leaps up to the beast, trying to land a double leg kick. As the simian does this, Viper's grip on Jiangshi's arm falters from her fatigue for a split second. Long enough for the creature to make its move. Jiangshi rips her off with its left paw and catches the langur with its right before tying the snake around him, rendering both of them immobile. It throws away the two masters as Mantis tries to dash by it, with the hulking creature only managing to catch the bug in a split second before he could head towards the tiger master. Jiangshi tightens its grip on the miniature master in an attempt to crush him, whilst Mantis pushes back with all his strength. It is no use however, as the monolith begins to overpower him which causes him to scream in immense pain. With all of its attention centred around the insect, Jiangshi fails to see Po rushing towards it with his fist raised. As the panda master's fist connects with the monster, an earth-shattering boom echoes around the cavern walls and a golden shockwave of chi explodes on the creature's chest. The sheer power of the punch forces Jiangshi to take a step back to retain its balance, making the beast lose its grip on the insect master. Mantis only barely manages to hop back over to the dragon warrior, his muscles now horribly strained from the beast's unfathomable strength. "What the hell is that thing!?" the green insect desperately implores, his voice littered with a painful timbre.

"You think I'd know!?" Po yells out, completely exasperated by the lumbering behemoth they unfortunately have to deal with. Jade orbs look upon the horrific megalith of a creature in shock. It had already recovered from his chi-infused attack? How on earth could it be that strong? Po dashes these thoughts aside as he rushes over to untie Monkey and Viper. Whilst the simian rolls his shoulders to recover, the serpent lies on the floor and pants hard from the severe amount of strain she had been put under earlier. Feeling the stinging pain he had felt earlier return, the panda master places his paw on top of his stomach as he looks upon his comrade with pity. His eyes then shift over to Crane, who holds his head with his feathers in complete agony. Not even a minute and two of us are down? He throws away this despairing thought as the sound of the titan's unyielding footsteps boom in his ears. Po, Monkey and Mantis all stand in their fighting stances, with the insect's face remaining in a hurt grimace from the unbearable ache in his muscles, as they prepare to engage Jiangshi again.

Meanwhile, further towards the centre of the phantom village, Nuba and the enraged Master Tigress circle each other in anticipation of the other's move. As the white tiger stares at the feral warrior in front of her, she smirks at the orange feline's incessant snarling and frantically twitching tail. Do I even need to bother trying for this? As this thought crosses her mind, Tigress lets out a freakish growl and rushes towards her. She wildly swings her paws towards her target in a barbarous haze, her claws thirsty for blood, which forces Nuba to take the defensive. Whilst backing away from the manic tiger, the white feline manages to block and dodge several of these strikes. Despite the master's lack of control, the speed of her attacks is more than enough to keep her target from striking back. That is, until Nuba unexpectedly takes one of Tigress' paws and pulls the warrior towards her. Bam! She pounds her knee into the master's abdomen, though this gains little reaction from her other than a primitive snarl. Nuba ducks away from a claw strike aimed directly for her head and lets out a triple punch combo in her opponent's chest, forcing the maddened feline to step back slightly before sprinting towards her again. This almost instant retaliation forces the composed feline to block her attacks once more. She is able to take advantage of one of her opponent's many openings and punches the orange tiger right in the cheek. However, the second the punch connects, Tigress grabs Nuba's free arm and strikes her directly in the face, her claws making a sickening shink! A painful grunt bellows out of the white tiger as she grips her face and delivers a powerful kick to Tigress' right side, ploughing her into the weak wall of a nearby hut.

Her foot's purple glow fades away as she puts it down and takes her paw away from her face. She sees the several drops of crimson falling onto her paw pad and clenches it tightly. Her ears pick up the crackle of the broken wall pieces, making her look towards the spot where she had sent the savage warrior. Tigress pierces her way out of the wreckage with a mighty roar and stares upon her enemy with blackened eyes. Four deep claw marks cover Nuba's once perfect complexion, tainting her white fur with the blood seeping out from those wounds. Miraculously they had missed both of her eyes, the two amethyst orbs that glow dangerously with loathing. Tigress growls again at the now wounded tiger, ignoring the blood dribbling down her lower lip. Nuba's face remains cold as she takes up her stance for the first time in decades. Without warning, the white tiger charges towards her adversary, forcing the wild warrior to leap towards her.

They clash, trading blows with each other in a mix of crazed slashes and precise punches from each side. They hold eye contact the entire time with amethyst orbs staring into an endless void of anguish and rage, and dilated pupils staring into focused but overwhelming crystals of hatred. Nuba begins to gain the upper hand through consistently taking advantage of Tigress' lack of defence. Tigress attempts to launch another claw strike at her, but Nuba grabs her paw mid-swipe and swats away her free arm before delivering a chi-infused punch directly to Tigress' jaw. With a bright purple flash, the savage tiger is flung towards the only part of the well left standing. She is given no time to react as Nuba promptly meets her at the wall and delivers blow after blow upon her maddened enemy. At each purple flash, Tigress cringes in pain and lets out a laboured growl whilst Nuba remains silent and stares at her losing enemy. She gives the tiger one more devastating punch, causing both a massive boom to ring around the entire cavern and the wall behind Tigress to crumble. Once again, the tiger warrior is sent flying into more rubble with Nuba watching on with a morbid sense of pleasure. Regardless of her injuries, Tigress shakily stands up from the rubble and lets out a ferocious roar as Nuba gets into her stance again.

As the two felines continue their fight, Mantis notices their battle shifting in Nuba's favour as he and his comrades leap back from another failed assault on Jiangshi. He quickly whispers to his two companions, "What're we gonna do? Tigress is getting pummelled out there!"

As both Po and Monkey look out towards the two tigers, they see Nuba's merciless strikes and the sheer power emanating from each one. However, Po's eyes pick out the bruises forming on Tigress' face and the blood dripping from her maw. He clenches his paw and looks towards the seemingly unstoppable Jiangshi with a determined expression, "We need to get to her, but this guy's gonna stop us no matter what we do." He ponders aloud, frustrated by how fast this had gotten out of hand.

Crane struggles to get up with one of his wings still cradling his aching head, "I can get to her… Hopefully." He suggests with a laboured breath as he fully stands up.

"Um, Crane… That didn't work too well last time, remember?" The langur master reminds the bird, his blue orbs radiating in a hopeless defeat.

With a miserable sigh, the avian master admits, "Yes, I know. But this time you guys can distract it." His three comrades look at him in puzzlement, "Po's chi attack managed to get the… Thing reeling back. If all three of you hit it with chi strikes constantly, I should have enough to time to get to her." Yellow orbs dart towards the beast that slowly lumbers its way over to them, its thundering footsteps exploding like a cannon being fired.

The three warriors gaze at each other in understanding until Monkey asks exasperatedly, "Okay, but what are you going to do afterwards? Cause if you haven't noticed, Nuba's kind of busy with her. And I doubt that she'll have much trouble with us now."

Jade orbs shift their gaze towards the floor, noticing the crack Jiangshi had made earlier. Po notes how hollow the hole looks, how deep the hole seems to go. Within a mere moment the panda master's eyes shine with a new plan. Let's hope this works. He thinks to himself as he informs Crane, "Bring her back here. If she's with Nuba any longer she could get herself killed." Crane nods with serious eyes as Po's voice rumbles deep with a newfound resolve.

All four masters look towards the beast that stands between them and their comrade. Crane braces his wings, knowing that he will have to fly as fast as possible to make this work, whilst his three friends call upon their chi reserves. Still light-headed, Viper is given little choice but to watch as she still attempts to recover her strength from earlier. Jade, blue, and hazel orbs look to the avian who nods at the four to start their distraction. Po yells out, "Golden Strike!" Before running towards Jiangshi with Mantis and Monkey following suit, whilst Crane zooms off into the air. Hollow amber orbs focus on the bird making his way towards its master but before the beast can do anything about it, Po drives his fist right into the creature's abdomen. Before the chi shockwave fully dissipates from the powerful blow, Monkey launches himself forward and lands a flying hammer punch right in the titan's chest with Mantis finishing the assault with a three-hit combo on the giant's shoulder. This onslaught staggers Jiangshi, allowing Crane to pursue the two tigers uninterrupted… For now. Taking one step back, the beast regains its balance effortlessly but is soon intercepted by the warrior's unyielding onslaught. Several chi explosions ripple off its grotesque and misshapen body, yet the stitching and metal enhancements remain untouched. As the remaining jade palace warriors continue delivering chi attacks, the fatigue begins to settle in. With the three masters' chi reserve depleting faster, their monolith of an enemy no longer falters. Jiangshi raises its right fist and backhands Po, sending him hurdling through another broken down house. Before the langur master can even call out his panda friend, the beast yanks his tail and smashes him onto the ground back-first before throwing him back to where Viper is still recovering.

Hazel orbs narrow in anger as Mantis sees his best friend tossed aside as if he were nothing. Without thinking, the green insect launches himself towards the creature's face in an attempt to land a flying kick. Jiangshi harshly swats him away with its right paw, sending the bug towards Po. Po crawls out of the wreckage of the house, his body sore all over. "Ow." He tiredly mutters as he looks towards his heavily breathing insect friend. The bug can hardly move, his muscles having suffered drastically from Jiangshi's efforts to crush him and now being fatigued from overexerting his chi. Jade orbs gaze upon the horrid creature as it turns around and begins to stomp its way towards Crane.

"I don't think so!" Viper's voice rings out as she speeds towards Jiangshi. She wraps her upper half around its metal-infused waist whilst tying her lower half around a stone pillar. As the beast takes a step forward, it looks down to see the serpent tied around him, struggling to keep it tethered to the column. Though her effort to stall the beast is certainly valiant, it only stops it for a few precious seconds as Jiangshi grips her head with its left paw and brutally punches her head with its right fist. Viper slumps, unwillingly letting go of the beast as she falls into unconsciousness. It carelessly tosses her away as the creature continues its path towards the avian master.

"Viper!" Po yells with a horrified countenance as he runs his way over to the snake master. He hurriedly checks her neck and sighs in relief at the feeling of her pulse. He doesn't dwell on this for long though, as his jade orbs focus their gaze upon Crane with Jiangshi stomping its way to him. "Be careful Crane! He's coming!" He calls out to the bird.

Crane swings his head behind him as he notices the beast closing in. "Dammit." He mutters under his breath, looking back towards the two fighting felines. He sees the numerous scratches that Tigress had managed to tear on Nuba's clothes along with the crimson claw marks deforming the white tiger's face, whilst several bruises litter the orange feline's face and dried blood stains her orange fur. And there's gonna be more if I don't do something! He mentally curses himself for taking so long to find an opening. That is, until Nuba boots the tiger master, resulting in a purple flash. Tigress' claws skid on the ground, allowing her to recover so she can attack retaliate, but both her and the white tiger simply wait for the other to make a move instead. Seizing this opportunity,he dives towards the two felines as the booming footsteps of the mangled creature get closer.

Tigress growls at Nuba again, the lust for blood not yet escaping her obsidian eyes whilst amethyst orbs look upon the barbaric feline with a sense of pity. "Look at what's become of you…" She shakes her head, "All that yearning for acceptance… For love… And it's made you no better than a savage." Her face retains its icy countenance as the tiger master snarls at her again. Nuba shakes her head again as she gets into her fighting stance and Tigress prepares to pounce.

"Wings of Justice!" Both felines hear the declaration before a massive gust of wind knocks the white tiger away. Nuba recovers however, managing to flip herself back onto her feet in mid-air. Before Tigress can even respond to her opponent's vulnerable state, Crane swoops in and picks her up by the collar of her golden robes with his talons. As he begins to lift her up, the avian master darts his head to see Jiangshi charging directly for him with its fist raised. He only just manages to weave both himself and Tigress out of the way, leaving the beast to crash into another broken down hut. His journey back to Po is far from easy though, as Tigress thrashes and swipes at him in a crazed frenzy.

Crane manages to make it back regardless, dropping off the tiger just in front of the panda master and rushing towards the unconscious Viper with apologetic eyes. Monkey and Mantis slowly walk out of the rubble with pained expressions, their eyes shifting from the unconscious serpent to Po and Tigress. As the orange feline is about to sprint back to Nuba, the dragon warrior catches her in a tight bear hug with her facing him. She frantically thrashes and roars in his grip despite her arms being pinned to her sides. "Tigress! Snap out of it!" He desperately shouts, only to have her snarl at him in response. "Tigress…" He ponders for a brief second, unsure of whether this idea will work or not, but as he looks upon his best friend, his love, his soul shatters at not being able to recognise her anymore. I have to try. "Look at me. Tigress, look at me! Please." He begs her, his voice cracking in pain. She growls again, jolting her head away from him. Tears well up in his eyes as the idea that he might've lost her for good poisons his heart. "Look at me! Tigress, please! Please." He screams out, his final plea sounding much more hopeless than before.

It's all a blur. She has no idea where she is or who is holding her back. All she knows is that they're keeping her away from her target. From Nuba. She continues trying to resist whatever it is that has her immobile until she hears something. Something shouting at her. It certainly isn't that dark voice from before. But it sounds… Familiar. It's telling her… To look at something. As the voice hits her ears again, a warm feeling bubbles within her heart but also makes it ache. It sounds as if… they're crying… "Look at me! Tigress, please! Please." She hears it one final time, the voice's withering tone at the end asphyxiating her soul in despair. She finally heeds its words and looks directly at the person who has her in their grasp. Directly into their… Jade… Eyes. Jade eyes that bring an unprecedented warmth into her soul. Eyes that have comforted her after the most horrible nightmares. Eyes that had soothed her pain whenever it had overwhelmed her heart. Those eyes could only belong to one person.

Po notices her looking directly at him. Her face softens as he feels her relaxing in his embrace. Jade orbs widen as they notice the feline's gargantuan pupils shrink back to their regular size, revealing the amber orbs that never cease to captivate the lovestruck panda. As her growls cease and her breathing calms, she gazes upon him in confusion, "Po?" She whispers out, clearly dazed from her violent outburst. A wide smile goes across the dragon warrior's face as he buries his head in the crook of her neck, silently thanking the Gods that she is alright.

"Um, guys!" Mantis interrupts the tender moment with a warning shout as the two cuddled warriors look towards the insect, his pincer pointing behind Tigress. All warriors' eyes widen in shock as they dart over to Jiangshi rushing its way towards them, having just pulled itself out of the building.

With his improvised plan in mind, the panda master lets go of his tiger companion as she continues staring at him in confusion. He looks towards the crack in the rocky ground and clenches his paws into fists. With several deep breaths, his fists quickly glow with bright golden chi. His breathing becomes slightly more laboured as his body hasn't fully recovered all the chi he had spent earlier. He raises his fists into the air, his jade orbs focused purely on the ground below him. "Po, what are you doing!?" Monkey screams out, whist exhausted amber orbs look to the ground. Tigress' eyes widen in realisation of just what the panda is trying to do.

Meanwhile, amethyst orbs stare at the dragon warrior in complete confusion. Nuba watches as Po lets out a loud battle cry before smashing the rocky floor beneath him and the five. With golden veins appearing within their chunk of the rocky floor, it glows brighter as the ground beneath the Jade Palace warriors begins to shake. Within a few moments the ground collapses under them, sending them plummeting down into the darkness below. Crane manages to keep himself in the air for a brief moment before diving down into the depths with his comrades. Nuba's eyes narrow in suspicion of the dragon warrior's actions, "Jiangshi, stop." She calmly commands the freakish behemoth. It stops its pursuit the second those words leave her mouth, standing perfectly still in wait for her next order.

She saunters her way over to the crater left behind by her prey whilst wiping her face with her right paw. She looks at her bloodied paw with an intense, burning hatred as a growl manages to escape her maw. With a calming breath, she flicks several specks of blood off her paw and crouches down to get a closer look at just where the panda had intended his friends to go. A blinding blackness is all can be made out from the abyss below. Nothing. Nothing down there but… Her eyes widen in realisation. The caves. She chuckles slightly, a devious grin cracking her face as she shakes her head. "They're trying to outrun me in my own village" She chuckles again, "How cute." Nuba turns her head towards the village entrance and tries to visualise just which path they would end up in. "So, if they came from here." She mumbles to herself, "Then that means they'd end up in…" A brief memory of her exiting the village 30 years ago enters her mind, the very day that she had massacred her own clan. The day just before she had met her demise. Her grin widens into a terrifying smile, her sharp teeth glistening from the auburn glow of the village torches. "Oh fate… So cruel, yet so gratifying." She comments to herself, a sadistic pleasure oozing from her voice. Amethyst eyes dart up to see a seemingly ordinary rock wall at the far end of the village, littered with claw marks and dried blood. The dying screams of the poor souls who had tried to escape are forever engraved on the scarred stone. "Follow me, Jiangshi." With this command, the abomination stiffly moves behind her, the clang of its metallic feet echoing off the cavern ceiling.

Before she reaches her destination, something catches her eye. A familiar sight that strangles her stomach in a tight knot. She looks upon it with cold eyes and an eerily relaxed face. Yet another mangled wreck of a building, however the material of this one is much finer than simple stone and wood. Though its larger than the other hovels, it lacks any sense of grandeur and matches the humble aesthetic of the village with ease. Or at least it did. The skeletal structure barely even resembles a building anymore, its damage being far more present than any of the other homes. Nuba looks down what used to be the corridor of the vast building, having its structure memorised in vivid detail. She eyes the skeletal, feline corpse cowering in the middle of the hall. Its paws remain covering its head as it had so long ago with the skeleton being practically clean from anything aside from dust. A disappointed, cowardly woman even in death… I think this fits you too perfectly, mother. This mocking thought passes through her mind as her amethyst orbs shift their focus onto something that lies ahead.

They focus on the throne room, now completely laid bare to the elements. A tad much for a mere chief but the villagers had respected it, nonetheless. She looks directly at the throne, specifically the remains that sit upon it. A completely mangled skeleton fills the wooden seat with torn and bloodied chieftain robes lathered over it. The skeleton's legs are broken into pieces on the floor while its arms dangle from their snapped hinges, looking just about ready to fall right off. A ribcage that looks to have been forcibly opened can be seen through one of the ripped holes in the chieftain's robes with a cracked spine just behind it. Amethyst orbs stare intently at its skull, completely torn in half and battered beyond recognition with the other half laying in shattered pieces on the ground right next to the throne. Though this corpse can barely be considered to have once been an animal, Nuba knows who it was all too well.

Her hollow stare lingers on the ripped apart corpse of her father for a few moments more before walking away from what used to be the chief's hut. She feels her paw around the scarred wall and slots her claws into its hidden indentations. She tears it off, allowing for burst of wind and rain to enter into the dimly lit cavern. Through the darkened skies and light rain, she is able to identify the orange tree tops just outside the mountain. Yet another secret entrance and exit, known only to her clan. She looks back at her monstrous minion, motioning him to follow along before pouncing out of the cavern and landing in the tree outside. Jiangshi charges forward without hesitation and leaps out into the trees ahead, breaking parts of the secret entrance due to its towering body. As the two make their way to wherever it is the masters have gone, the heartless wind pierces in through the now exposed entrance. It blows out all of the torches inside, leaving the now dead village in nothing but darkness.

Yikes... Nuba is... Oh jeez. Once again, poor Tigress. I really feel like I'm putting her through the wringer here. But don't worry, things will get better... At some point. Once again, a lot of fun writing this chapter since fight scenes are a lot of fun to put together. As for the next chapter, that might take somewhat longer than usual since I have uni stuff to do. So, until then, have fun.
