I will be showcasing every major Danganronpa character in some ways, but some will only be shown in cameo appearances. Like our next group. Essentially this chapter is filler and world-building. Letting us know just how much has changed. Disclaimer: I don't own Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, or Danganronpa.

Jojolion Chapter 30: Adventures in Babysitting

"You took on a babysitting job?," Mukuro asked her sister. It had been several weeks since the incident in Willamette. Clean-up was still on-going, as was the identification of all the deceased. For Hope's Peak's part, everything was successfully completed, the only fly in the ointment being whoever hired Brock and Rome got away with eight artifacts that had been hidden. But right now Junko was looking for some downtime, so she decided to take on a part-time gig as a babysitter. "Yeah, I'm actually great with kids. And these kids are of special interest to Hope's Peak."

She finished her touch-ups. "You see, each of them is already showing skill in a particular talent. Kizakura's been monitoring them from afar for the future to see if they could become Hope's Peak students themselves one day. But Kakyoin also wanted to get to know them better on a more personal level. And since I'm the best people-person in the school, he asked me if I could act as their babysitter until graduation." She held up her Stand. "And with Centuries I can figure out if anything might be bothering them." Mukuro sighed as she touched her forehead. "In another reality, you'd make an excellent evil mastermind hellbent on sowing despair across the world before ending it." "That's oddly specific," Junko noted.

Junko walked into the room where four kids were waiting. "Huh, we seem to be missing someone." "Sorry I'm late," came a young girl's voice. Said green-haired girl was in a wheelchair, getting wheeled into the room by a young man with long black hair. "Hey," the guy said, "I'm here to drop my sister off." He then noticed Junko, who didn't like the sudden look he gave. "Well hey there. I didn't know the new babysitter would be so gorgeous. I'm Haiji Towa." He placed a hand on her shoulder. "So, maybe we could ditch these brats and-YEOW!"

Junko had proceeded to grab his crotch in a very painful manner, causing the kids to laugh. "Sorry," Junko said, "But I'm more interested in guys my age. And you're just a little too old." She waved Haiji off, still holding his crotch in pain. Junko then turned toward the kids. "So then. Why don't we started sharing names? I'm Junko Enoshima, and I'll be taking care of you after school hours. Why don't you all share your names and what your interests are?" The wheelchair bound girl raised her hand first. "My name is Monaca Towa. My father is head of the Towa Group. I like making new friends and learning Daddy's business."

A blue haired boy raised his hand next. "I'm Nagisa Shingetsu. I prefer studying with others, practicing chemistry, and generally learning anything I can." The next to speak was a pink-haired girl in pigtails. "Ahoy! I'm Kotoko Utsugi, a sweet and gentle child actress who loves participating in school plays and anything adorbs." A masked boy finished pulling off said mask, revealing a gorgeous face and blonde hair. "Hello, I'm Jataro Kemuri. Sorry for the ugly mask, I made it myself so I can keep safe when doing my art projects. Art is my biggest passion, whether it be painting or sculpting."

The last kid, who Junko could swear looked like a mini-Leon, spoke up next. "And I'm Masaru Daimon! My motto is 'make fear your own and you'll always find courage'! That's mark of a true hero. I'm an all-around sports ace who loves PE and working out." Junko finished writing in her journal. "Oh," Monaca said, "What's that?" "This is a magic journal," Junko said, "When I write what I see in it, it writes back about what those things mean."

"Oh, so it's one of those Stands they talk about on the internet," Nagisa said, "I heard my dad talk about them. He's a teacher at Hope's Peak Academy. But I always thought those kinds of powers were impossible." "When you get down to it, the whole world's impossible," Jataro noted, "Did you know the odds of the Earth coming into existence are the same as a tornado blowing through a junkyard and assembling a working car?" Kotoko looked at him. "That's... Oddly specific." 'And just what I would have thought of,' Junko thought to herself, 'I think these kids might be on the same wavelength as me.'

"All things considered they seem to be well-adjusted," Josefumi noted. "I'm not sure how bad they were treated in some alternate reality," Kakyoin said, "And I'd prefer not to know. But things for them are pretty good in this world. Masaru's parents are decent enough. His father has some drinking problems but Missus Daimon keeps him in line. Jataro's parents gush over their 'beautiful baby boy' any chance they get. Kotoko is a child actress only by definition. Her parents take advantage of her acting skills by enrolling in various school plays. She never complains because she loves acting, and dreams of being a real actress when she's older." "What of the other two?," Josefumi asked, "Nagisa's father is a teacher here, yes?"

"And a skilled scientist," Kakyoin replied, "In fact Nagisa seems to have inherited that intellect. He's naturally gifted. Then there's Monaca, the second child of Tokuichi Towa who's favored over her deadbeat brother. She actually puts in the work of trying to learn the business, while he expects to receive his inheritance simply because he's the oldest." "What's with the wheelchair?," Josefumi asked. "A little practical joke by her and her father," Kakyoin explained, "Haiji's negligence caused her legs to be broken. To teach him a lesson, Tokuichi had her ride around in a wheelchair long after her legs got their strength back to make Haiji think he permanently crippled her, hoping this would teach him responsibility. It hasn't taken yet."

Sure enough, Monaca showed how her legs were still working after the introductions were through. After she explained her reasons, Junko snickered. "Man, you and your dad are so devious." She had already noticed Jataro gazing at her. She wasn't surprised or offended. After all, these kids were close to puberty, and she was a gorgeous fashion model. "I don't think you have a chance," Kotoko said to him, "I mean, she made it clear that she prefers guys her own age. Plus, someone that beautiful has to have a boyfriend by now."

"Well to tell you the truth," Junko said as she leaned in, "There is one guy I'm interested in. He's a member of my class and he's super cute. He's the leader of his biker gang, but he's surprisingly sensitive underneath, like a big teddy bear." She put a hand to her cheek. "Really I'm not picky about the sort of guy I date so long as they're not fake, which is hardly a word I'd use to describe Mondo." They continued through the time they had, Monaca only returning to her wheelchair when it came time for them to be picked up.

As she continued her notes on Haiji she noticed something. "So he's aware of what his father is doing, which is only increasing the resentment. Centuries also suggests he might be prone to exploiting the family company for dubious purposes. Hmm... I'd better let Mister Kakyoin know about this. Maybe they can get some dirt on him." Outside, Haiji felt a chill run down his spine. 'What was that...? It felt like someone was onto to the fact that I've been using Towa Group resources for a major project headed by someone named Sato...'

So yeah. The kids are actually well-adjusted and have loving families (though not too loving in Kotoko's case) and Haiji is providing funds to Sato. We'll be having him removed off-screen. He doesn't the dignity of an on-screen thrashing. Read and review.
