Here we are again, another chapter for the story YAY!
Anyways, first hey folks hope you're all doing well during these still confusing times lately. I wish you all the best of times ahead.
Now then onto what else I need to say, so first off I will say this chapter will be a bit different. Well in how it's presented since this chapter is a collection of various stories. One's that do have connection to the main story as a whole. Well kind of as some of the stories here will be funny, somber, calm, spice of life, short, slightly long and serious etc. Most of these tales below will be taking place during the Assassin creed chapters. So there's that. I just hope you like what I wrote for this and enjoy it like I did as always writing it.
That aside, enjoy these tales and I can't wait to start up the Arc.2 soon! : )
P.S: This has just a slight spoiler for the KH3 DLC, but I did my absolute best to make it barely noticeable for those who haven't played it. That and for story sakes I gave it a slight head cannon ending cause well never mind. But yeah, you'll either see it when it shows up or not. That I can promise at least.
In NO way do I own Kingdom hearts and the associated show, game within this fanfic. Kingdom Hearts belongs to Square Enix and Disney. RWBY belongs to Rooster Teeth/ Mounty Oum. All other added in franchise belong to their own respective creators.

Tales of Traverse Town and… BEYOND! Pt.1
-Hero's Tale #1: Irisviel and the car(s)...-
"So are we almost there Mister Rockatansky?" Irisviel curiously asked. As she was outside the town gates for once. Well to be honest this was her first time outside the gates, still it was rather… different
Despite the belief to some of the other members of their odd large group/ dysfunctional family. Only four people had been in these wastes lately. Not including those who came in originally from this place outside the town gates. Max was the most frequent of going out, mainly to get some stuff of his own done and was trying to make a deal with someone named Jeet to allow passage for those in Traverse. Since the area Traverse Town was a part of Jeet's territory.
Still the only other one's who'd been recently out alongside Max was Chumbucket since the car Max rode. The Magnum Opus was quote on quote 'Chumbucket's angel, while Max is his Holy Saint Driver'. At least that was the short explanation Max gave them when he was asked about the car from curiosity alone. The second to last person who'd been allowed out here only recently was Glynda. Since she was the town's leader now. She had to be the one to help plan out the deal with Jeet.
Didn't take too long and with Max she was safe… enough. But when Glynda came back with Max. She was okay but, a little unsettled. All she said was when asked about her experiences was this 'I for one will never go over the speed limit of 50 ever again, oh also everyone at Jeet's little… fortress looked at me with some odd kind of praise. Like I was an angel or something. Kind of made me uneasy, at least Jeet was reasonable. Kind of… maybe… he was wary of me, also a bit difficult to talk to and not feel like I was going to get a shank in my throat if I said something wrong. That's all I'll say on the matter.' Max only agreed with the statement with a nod and Chumbucket just shrugged in nervous agreement too with Glynda's assessment. That didn't paint a pretty picture for anyone who was there at the time to ask. Not at all.
But now the newest person to be out in this world beyond their town. Was Irisviel herself. Who had to admit, she'd only been told a few things by Max when she asked about the rather large bleak wasteland of Sand, rocks, and wreckages of old rusted cars; and boats. The most shocking was that this place they were in, use to be an ocean floor. Water filling it up for miles, only now for some reason all the water just emptied out.
That was a rather sad note for Irisviel, since before all this even happened. She'd finally been able to see civilization and even the ocean. Loving every moment of that day before the first battle of the Grail War started too. Which again was why this place Max, Chumbucket and Dinki-Di the adorable pup he was came from made her only feel worse. It looked so war torn, dead and ravaged by what Max called the Oil War's. At least that's what he called it. Still Irisviel got a good idea more on why Max even now a bit was… distant and cold with them. Along with explaining a bit on the warning Max gave her before they left as he said to her, 'Stay with me. Don't EVER stray away, it's not safe being a woman in this world. Not one bit and a woman like you well… let's just say you'd be better offing yourself then be caught. Trust me.' That alone made Irisviel a bit nervous being out here, she could only imagine how worried Illya was and especially her beloved Kiritsugu even if he concealed his emotion's very well on the inside.
But on a happier note for the homunculus woman, was that she was out here for one thing. To DRIVE or at least learn how to drive 'Properly'. She wasn't bad at driving, no she wasn't and Kiritsugu loved her driving. He was always so shaky when she drove with him, when he got out of the car/ her favorite toy. He beloved was even so pumped up from her driving he'd run into the house. Usually ending up in the bathroom for some reason as he hurled from how pumped he must have been, her poor husband. Still her beloved had suggested it so, here she was. With a man she only knew as Max driving her out a bit and Chumbucket in the back of th Magnum Opus itself. Still Irisviel had to admit, despite how this car was dirty and all. She was enjoying this ride so far.
"Max just call me Max." Max answered, as Irisviel chucked a bit like she's doing this on purpose now since he'd told her three times already to just call him Max
Granted, his time so far in Traverse Town had been… what was the word again. Peaceful, yes that was the word. It had been peaceful, a foreign concept to him for so long. But even if it was peaceful, it was only temporary. No, he would find the plains of silence one day and then finally… finally he'd be at peace. The voices, the memories would hurt him no longer. Still he would be a liar if he said he hadn't made a few he guessed friends maybe with the odd residents of that town. It was hard not to, especially being stuck around them a lot. But that didn't mean he wasn't still wary of them, doing his best to not get too close to the people of Traverse Town. He would see where this would take him for the time being.
Though he'll admit also, when it came to people he liked, Irisviel was one of the people he liked the most. Even if she could be serious at times, she also was a curious one. Kind too, even after his colder hellos to her; she seemed to look past that and continue to be pleasant with him. He even swore, she looked at him sometimes with pity. Like one time when he told of her of this place they were currently in; his world. She looked sad, but sad for him, Chumbucket and Dinki Di for having to live in such a place. She even gave him a hug, which was a rare thing when it came to people in his world now a days. At least those who weren't family and even then, that was rare.
Still Max liked the woman with them currently, but he did make sure she understood not to wander off. A woman like her, with her exotic looks alone. If she were caught, she wouldn't be pretty anymore. Either eaten by the cannibalistic locals who could see her as an exotic meat that could bless them or some rubbish. That though was the more merciful of two horrible fates if you asked him. As the other possibility, was if she were to be caught by someone from either the Roadkill, Scrotus or Buzzard factions. A breeder she'd be made into, rather she liked it which he knew she wouldn't or not.
Max had seen enough in his earlier days in this hell hole at the state of most breeders at the end of it all. Usually they were just broken, very broken. He even killed a few as a mercy when he found the one's that… ahem, that we're left for dead after use. It still haunts him to this day's those images. But that was why Max was staying in Jeet's territory currently, at least the area where the man's fortress actually was at since it was safe enough for the moment. Thanks to a good part of his doing when he'd go out of the town for a while here and there. That's also why he agreed to give Irisviel some driving lessons on request from the woman's husband. Max may be a wild driver now, but he still remembered enough of how driving use to be when he was still a police officer; well enough to be able to show someone else how to drive safely anyways. Besides how hard could it be?
.
.
.
"So how did I do?" Irisviel happily asked. Smiling like a happy go lucky child that was waiting for praise of her accomplishments of a beloved parent
"I ah… ah…." Max, well couldn't say as he and Chumbucket were staring at the child like woman wide eyed
Why, well behind Irisviel was a trail of burning car's, freshly burning cars that went down a long dirt road Irisviel had taken for her practice. Bodies of burning Roadkill and Scrotus forces could be seen laying on the ground. Heck one Scrotus War Boy was still on fire running in circles as he screamed to be killed as he burned alive. All the while Irisviel was happy as ever, maybe because she had so much fun driving that she still hadn't taken notice of the chaos she left in her wake. Which to be honest kind of made her scarier then she should be, than if she acknowledged her path of carnage.
"Saint… I'm scared." Chumbucket muttered, for once hugging Max around his waist as Max didn't even push him away from how dumbfounded he was
All that was on Max's mind was just… just HOW?
It was supposed to be a simple stroll. Heck the place to went to was one of the racetracks that belonged to a man named Crow. A race king as some called him, the only reason he was allowed to use this place and the car's parked here was because he'd won the race challenge here in record time. Max was proud of that, thankfully some of Crow's people always hung around this place so Irisviel was set up with a captured Scrotus scout buggy. Frail thing if not fast and safe enough. At least when it came to the standards of Max's world of 'Safe'.
But somehow, Irisviel ended up killing from what Maxed counted behind her from the flaming car remains and bodies. Three Scrotus enemy buggies and three Roadkill Speedsta's. Two men in each so that made twelve in total. Irisviel somehow in a weaponless vehicle and somehow OBLVIOUS to it. Destroyed six attacking vehicles and killing twelve men in the process.
"So, come on tell how did I do. Tell me, please!" Irisviel pleaded in a rather adorable manner, while it also appeared the workers who were at this station had watched the whole thing too and were now all continually bowing to her like she was some sort of goddess. For all intents and purposes, she might as well be if the constant phrase 'Angel of Fire' being spewed out was any indication
"You ah… did…. good. Yeah, good." Max answered finally as he had no idea how to say she literally just killed twelve men and destroyed their cars doing a simple exercise to learn how to drive better
"Yay, thank you two so much. I feel like I could take on the world with my new and improved skills in driving. Let's get back home now boys!" Irisviel cheered as she hummed and skipped back into the Magnus Opus
"Saint… can we never speak of this again?" Chumbucket asked wide eyed still
"Yeah… yeah we'll do that." Max simply answered, as he and Chumbucket looked upon one more time at the carnage left by one Irisviel Von Einzbern
What was the lesson here, no idea really. Only that you should never, EVER give Irisviel control of any vehicle. For only destruction and madness will follow…
-Hero's Tale #2: Gun's 101... oh boy. -
It was another day in Traverse Town. The sky was well… the same as usual being nighttime and all. While the area currently was the Graveyard District of the town, having been avoided for a good while now. You know because it was a graveyard. Still today it was finally filled once more, three men stood in front a good few others. Those being Solider 76, Huang and Lehm. All standing next to a table with various guns laid on it. Magazines taken out and unloaded, with the needed ammo stacked in boxes. How they got this, to be honest they found it.
A while ago, a letter was taped to the door that lead into Leon's room. Leon seeing this letter when he came back for some shut eye saw the letter. All it said was 'A little gift for you and you're little family. From, a friend.' Leon confused if not a bit wary on what kind of gift at the time. Slowly had entered into his room and saw a whole stockpile of guns, knives, ammo, explosives, and medical supplies. Leon at the time had been justifiably shocked by this. But grateful. But again shocked, along with some wariness in there too.
Still after that, Leon got the leaders of the Guild to see what had occurred; was a good thing they all stayed in the same hotel or for some of the bigger members being mainly the autobot. Were outside resting up behind the hotel. They could have used the district that they first came from. But it was only city and no actual buildings that could be used as a base of any kind. But still, it had been agreed amongst the guild leaders and main leader being Glynda that they would see if they could make an armory for these weapons. Then distribute them to those who just wanted an extra gun or wanted to use them. Thing was a good portion of the one's who wanted to use them, were the guild members who were…ahem. Not gun smart you could say.
That was a week ago when this occurred. Now was Monday or at least that's what they learned thanks to some of the natives of this town like the twins Kim and Tina along with grandmother had told them. Either way it was a Monday, and the individuals who well those who could make it or just wanted too. Were lined up ready for their lessons in gun use.
These individuals being one Maria who said she'd have asked Vladimir to help, but didn't want to bother him with it when they spent time together. Next was Yin who also had a similar reason why she hadn't learned until now, well that and she was too shy to ask anyways. Third was Filia who knew of guns, but never learned to use one so she was curious.
Fourth in this small learning group was a somewhat grumpy if not serious Sola who at first said she didn't need to know since she had all the power she could use being a magus. BUT, someone must have said something to her to make her want to learn. Most likely something involving hitting her pride in general. Who ever said it none of them knew, but still aside from that the fifth to be here was Rarity of all people… ponies. But yeah the freaking unicorn who could shoot bloody magic out of her horn on her forehead. The only reason she said she wanted to learn, was as a 'back up' in case she got stuck in a fight that caused her to overuse her magic and would force her to rely on some other form of fighting; which in this case was using a gun.
Finally the sixth and last person to join was one Waver Velvet. Why well mainly to just see if he could FINALLY one up Sola on something since their time here. So yeah, he just wanted to see if he could beat the smug woman for once. In a way it would be a victory over his prick of a teacher Sola was engaged to… kind of. That and he was kind of curious on guns, hey he might be a magus in training and his kind were NEVER supposed to use technology of any kind. But Waver kind of tended to break that rule, so why not with guns too.
Still the teachers here were currently were the ones who had the time to do so, that and trusted enough to not teach the firearm inept bad habits. A few that came to mind in that category was Butch, Nobounaga even if he was more used to more primitive guns and Rocket. Actually those were the only three that didn't seem like teacher material, at least when it comes to good habits. Everyone else who was firearm savvy had pretty good habits when it came to firearms. Though most of them were already busy one way or another with chores, their own training etc. The list went on for most of them.
"Alright now then you six are here to learn the basic's in the usage of firearms." Solider 76 started off, loud and stern for the 'students' to get a good idea on what kind of class this was going to be "During this and the future courses of you stay here. You will be handling a variety of guns. From you small caliber round weaponry to large fed gun's such as 50 calibers. Any questions?"
"Um…" Sola asked, raising her hand up as Solider 76 gave her a nod that she could speak "Right. Well first off thanks for teaching us but… what were those terms you just used. I have zero idea what any of those meant."
"Same here dearies. Sounds rather complicated." Rarity added in, sheepishly smiling as Waver though having a small bit of knowledge on firearms couldn't help but silently agree with the fashion forward pony
"Ugh…" Soldier 76 groaned a bit, facepalming at the task he and his two other colleges had to endure for who knew how long
"You knew the price you'd be paying when you agreed." Huang simply stated, holding off on smoking as to not deal with anyone here giving him guff and nagging his ear off for doing so like Weiss had back in Tarzan's world
"Yeah I know…" Solider 76 muttered, looking to Lehm who was just staying out of it for a moment; before back at the three that already spoke; then turning his attention to the last three "What about you ladies, anything we should know before starting?"
"Well I know what guns are myself. BUT…. I've never shot one or wanted to. Well until now I guess, I just always found them to loud is all." Filia answered happily, Samson giving a thumbs up to back up his hosts claim
"Preach." Maria and Yin in the ever so monotoned voices quipped, doing an awkward high five
"Oh god Hana and Yuffie must be teaching them still…" Solider 76 grumbled once more, knowing Hana and Yuffie had gotten to know the two doll like women early on. Spending a lot of time with them too, that and the Robbie boy which Hana he noticed seemed to like quite a bit… which for some reason brought out a sudden urge to scared Robbie off when he got too close to Hana even if it was plutonic. Still realizing he was stuck now in this, he might as well try and enjoy these sessions "Right. Anyways, Lehm just take over now. You have best memory when it comes to these guns."
"Roger that 76." Lehm replied, before clearing his throat as he was going to do what he did best. Look scary as hell and be scary as hell to the unexpected; friends were not excluded in this "ALRIGHT LISTEN UP!"
The suddenness made at least Rarity, Sola, Waver and Filia flinch. Samson decided for his host sake to just shut for now, while Maria and Yin just focused solely on Lehm. Lehm moving over to the table with four different guns each. All in stacks of two each, with clips taken out but again placed next to the guns. Lehm walking over picking up one of the pistols first. A sleek black steel colored one, with a plastic like grip and a metal slide as the six leaners eyed the weapon.
"This here is the G17 or Glock 17. Standard type that shoots 9X19mm rounds in a 17-capacity magazine. This will be one a few standard side eyes our people will be equipped with." Lehm explained quickly and clearly before placing the gun down
"Um Lehm-" Waver started to say, but was cut off when Lehm moved over to the gun's next to the G17's. Picking it up in both his hands as it a bit bulky looking in tanned coloring and also looked heavy-ish
"Now here we have the FN SCAR-L, with a semi-auto and full auto firing systems. Firing out 5.56X45mm rounds and highly customizable. This is yet another of the standard varieties of assault rifles you'll get used to seeing around the town." Lehm explained once more. Thought to be honest it sounded more like a very basic explanation of the current weapon just like the last one
"Okay Lehm maybe-" Rarity started to say now, as she herself was getting very confused on what the heck Lehm was even saying. Was any of it even english she wondered, though like before Lehm just went on as he moved to yet another gun. This one all black, with an odd-looking stock that seemed like it could be moved
"Next is the Franchi SPAS-12 or SPAS for short. A semi-auto dual mode shotgun firing off 12-gauge rounds. This is currently the gun that will give you the most kick when we get to them. So make sure you have a steady stance." Lehm yet again kept on explaining. The others starting to wonder if he was hearing but just ignoring them too
"Okay what's the next one…?" Sola muttered, as she knew there was no reason now to try and get the man to stop. Lehm meanwhile picking up the last gun to show the six learners. A gun with a long barrel, a bolt action system, and a black synthetic body
"Finally, you'll all be getting acquainted with the Remington Model 700 bolt action rifle. With attachable scope and bipod and firing off .308 caliber rounds. This gun will have the second strongest kick in today's lessons. So once more, remember a steady stance when firing." Lehm explained, but kept on before any questions could be asked "I know none of you have an idea on what I just said. That's fine. These lessons will be going on for a while so by the end you'll memorize these guns like brand on a cow's thigh."
"With that said. Guess we should get to it then or whatever?" Haung suddenly cut in, as he hadn't wanted to do this, but it was that or having nothing to do for this day… again
"Haung is right. Lesson's start now and since Huang you seem eager. You'll be helping Yin and Maria." Solider 76 exclaimed, smirking a bit under his mask as Huang rolled his eyes grumbling. Before he motioned the two doll like women to follow him over to a range set up to the far right of the group; taking the two Glock 17's first for the girls to start off with
"Then I'll take Rarity and Filia." Solider 76 said, taking one of the FN-Scar L's and one of the Remington 700 for his two students to start with, leading Filia and Rarity to another range set up to the far left of the group
"Wait that mean's…" Waver muttered as he realized who he was stuck with as a teacher and also who he was stuck with as a partner basically. Looking at Sola first, as she seemed unhappy with arrangement too a bit
"Hey!" Lehm shouted suddenly as Waver and Sola looked back seeing Lehm in the same spot, holding two SPAS-12's in his hands "Get you're asses up here so we can start."
"Um.." Waver muttered as he was starting to have seconds thoughts on this. Lehm so far seemed like a nice guy, if not stern… but now he was giving off an aura of drill instructor; a scary one. Unknown to him Sola was feeling the same way
"NOW!" Lehm ordered, as Sola and Waver mostly out of fear of being yelled at again quickly made their way up to Lehm. As these three, were to use the range behind Lehm
With that the training began, the completely, safe…
.
.
.
"HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!" Solider 76 screamed. Staring upon the… after math of this bare basic class for today
What Solider 76 was gazing upon was something. Something so…so…. inconceivably stupid. The man gazed upon the graveyard now just being doused down by Lehm with a water bucket he and Yin had ran out to get. The charred remains of what dead plant life was there, graves scared with scorch marks. All of having caught fire. Like actually caught ON FIRE. Granted the dead plants laying around may have been an oversight. But Solider 76 had been confident that he, Lehm and even Huang. All three professionals with handling firearms could prevent a fire from even happening.
Then again, as he looked at the rather shaken form of Sola who Waver was putting a blanket over, while Rarity did what she could to just pat the woman's back. While Filia was wide eyed alongside Samson and Maria having actually face palmed from this oddness. It was kind obvious who enacted the fire and also made Solider 76 realize that he should just stop trying to prevent the oddness from happening. Believe it or not while their four saviors and their allies were out saving their worlds. A LOT of dumb shit had been occurring. To the point where it got really absurd at times, though that's bound to happen with so many different individuals stuck in one town together.
But aside from that. How this all happened was quiet… stupid, odd, silly… avoidable. You see as the training had gone on. Yin and Maria turned out to be the best one's at this. Maybe because of how doll like they were in some ways, even if Maria was made of wood and Yin of flesh. That and maybe because they had been around firearms enough to see how others used them, even if they hadn't used them until now.
Then came the second and third best one's in this first course of how to handle a gun. Being Filia and Rarity surprisingly. Filia not as surprising since it was possible that the girl who everyone had learned a while ago, didn't really have many of her memories of her old life ever since become fused with the parasitic being that was her hair now Samson. Still the girl looked like she could hold her own and that she was most likely around others who used guns quite a bit. Rarity on the other hand was a shock. Sure she had issues handling the gun for a long while before she tire out. Since she was using her magic to hold the and fire the guns she practiced with. That and she seemed oddly to be taking a liking shooting a gun. Like she was letting out some of her anger with each shot. A good method if not a scary one, especially with a wielder who was a magical fashion loving pony.
Though finally came the last two, who needed the most work on. Sola and Waver. Not that he, Lehm or Huang expected the two to get use to the guns easily. From what they learned here and there talking with a few others from these two's world. Magus did NOT, use guns or any kinds of tech at all. Just their magic, which was a big exploitable flaw for them. So that's one reason those two got more attention than the rest and for good reasons.
Still how the heck the fire even started was again preventable. You see everyone, even the worst of the six were doing a good job getting use to the guns. Handling them and just getting use to the feeling of firing them off. With that said, it wasn't until Sola got her turn using one of the FN Scar-L's that it all went downhill. Not that they blamed her really. No Sola was a victim of a sudden rush of excitement when she fired her first clip. She hadn't liked the feel of the Glock 17 or Remington 700 and didn't care for the force of the SPAS-12. But when she got to the FN Scar-L. Something must have clicked in her head, because she was going through magazines like hot cakes with a rather uncharacteristic grin of glee on her.
Now that wasn't bad, it did help Sola get use to the Scar's feel when shot from the hip. Though she did remember about aiming and such so she did some of that too. Again it wouldn't have been too bad if the bullet cases hadn't been landing in the edge of a very…VERY dry pile of dead leaf's. That low and behold, basically began the fire because of the combined heat of the bullet shells being shot off at such a rapid pace. Causing the quick flames to start up and spread. Before it was thankfully and quickly quelled. Again it could have been preventable. But Solider 76, Lehm and Huang even hadn't been able to find in themselves to stop Sola at the time. She really did for once looked… well actually happy.
Though for now the lesson would be called off for today, hopefully in a day or two they could teach the six some more. Solider 76 at least had to admit, it did remind him of the old days of Overwatch. The peaceful, happy old days…
-Villains Tale #1: Serenity's feelings for Jaune. -
In the large cave system that held her, her master, and her allies. Serenity walked around in the silence currently. Enjoying her stroll while wearing her new pair of dark purple pumps. One's Jaune had given her on the second day of her summoning. Mainly because she was barefooted and Jaune giving her the pumps simple explained 'You shouldn't be walking around barefoot in this sort of environment. Besides were gonna be working together for a good while with the other so here. A sign of friendship between you and me.' That was three weeks ago, and Serenity couldn't help but still smile at the kind act. Not that Jaune wasn't always kind because he really was when it came to, and the other servants and the odd still wary of allies her master was in league with. Yes Jaune was such a sweetheart.
Which is why Serenity today was glad he and mostly everyone else was busy. She needed some time to think on something very important. She needed to think on her developed feelings for Jaune. Yes she had come to care for Jaune very much these past three weeks. Even pitying him when she saw the coma induced body of his pregnant fiancée Pyrrha. She could tell Jaune truly loved Pyrrha, but maybe he would be willing to share his love with her as well. Not that she'd ever replace or try and take Pyrrha's place. No, if anything she'd be there as an extra to be loved by the kindhearted Jaune. Thankfully she could do so easily now to, as her odd summoning had negated her natural poisonous skin she'd used in her mortal life to kill. Because of that, Serenity was feeling much more willing to suggest what she'd wanted to ask Jaune when it came to her.
Though as she walked down the pathway some more. She began to think on some other thoughts. Concerning one's that involved the allies her master was in league with. One or two of them seemed fine enough, but the rest were… unsettling with their energies they gave off. She and the other servants even discussed it, making sure none could hear them.
Gawain suggested to see if they could find more evidence on these so-called allies to their master. See if maybe doing so would give them more insight on their so-called allies. Carmilla agreed along with the great founder the first Hassan. But had said to take their heads afterword's, not that Serenity was against the idea herself. But they'd need to be smart about it. Heroic Spirits they were, but they didn't mean numbers couldn't overwhelm the four of them. Especially considering the various so-called allies they had meet so far.
To be honest all of what had been going on seemed so… surreal and that was saying a lot considering. But it was kind of fun too. Mainly involving getting to know her master better, her fellow servants better especially the great founder and just being able to live life once more. To touch for once without killing them also was a great perk, but that was a more personal blessing for Serenity. Still there was actually one more thing that was a major concern with her and the other servants.
It was the fact all of them, even if mildly felt a… presence within Jaune's very soul. A dark evil one that seemed to be willingly allowed to live within Jaune. Meaning as the great found had put it 'Thy master has been fooled. Fooled by a silver tongue snake. We must tread lightly though. If we show we know. Our master may die from thy actions.' Again Serenity herself, Gawain and Carmilla couldn't help but agree with great fonder on that logical worry. So for now, she and the rest of the servants would wait. Wait and then decided what to do whenever this presence in their master slipped up.
That aside, Serenity just kept on walking and walking. Before she accidently bumped into someone. Falling on her backside as she groaned a bit from the sudden soreness. That was before a hand was offered to her, not taking notice of persons hand it belonged to. She took it, before being lifted back up.
"You okay Serenity?" A voice suddenly asked, as Serenity looked up seeing it was her master Jaune
"Oh Ma… Jaune. I'm sorry I should have been paying attention more. I was just in thought." Serenity shyly answered as she felt stupid now bumping into Jaune
"Hey no worries. Accidents happen and I'm just glad I didn't hurt you." Jaune exclaimed kindly, as Serenity smiled a bit and noticed Jaune looked sweaty again
"We're you training again Master?" Serenity asked curiously. Hoping it wasn't anything too… extreme. She'd only gotten a glimpse once when Jaune was facing off the one's called Oogie Boogie and Joker in their own styles of battle, mainly because of the two mad men's unorthodox style fighting. Jaune had only gotten away with minor burns and a stab wound in his side, thankfully he was healed. But that hadn't helped her, or the other servants not worry for their master's safety
"Huh. Oh yeah actually Gawain and Hassan decided to teach me today. Have to say they may not be as contact to contact as the others. But they made me start up quite a sweat hehe." Jaune answered, chuckling a bit as Serenity was happy those two trained Jaune today. Now only she and Camellia had to try and set up a spar with their master to help him out as well
"Good. I'm glad." Serenity sweetly quipped, before she felt a sudden pang of nervousness realizing right now would be the best time to bring up her… well suggestion. Actually this would probably be the only time Jaune was alone with just her considering how much everyone in this alliance of theirs were pitching in to train Jaune when needed "U-Um Mas.. Jaune, I… I need to ask you something."
"Huh oh sure. You know you can ask me anything Serenity." Jaune replied. Though found it a bit odd Serenity was being so shy, well shyer. The girls was soft spoken most of the times and a shy one, to the point one would never considering her an assassin; but maybe that was the point
"Thank you. I… I ah… Jaune um…" Serenity tried to say, before she was feeling herself choke up a bit. But she swallowed her fear even for a moment to just get out her feelings no matter the outcome "Jaune…. Jaune I have a deep love for you. So please let me give you a suggestion that will work for us please!"
"Serenity what…?" Jaune said, as he was surprised. Mainly because all this time he was just glad Pyrrha even found him remotely attractive and well… she was having his kid(s) now so there was that. But looking at Serenity seem so flustered as she looked at the ground probably nervous beyond belief. Jaune couldn't help but feeling guilty he'd have to tell her that whatever suggestion it was it couldn't be. He was with and faithful to only Pyrrha. Maybe it would be awkward for a bit, but he was sure it would get better between him and Serenity again eventually "Serenity look… um-"
But before Jaune could say more, Serenity knelt down bowing to Jaune and decided to just blurt out her suggestion before she could be stopped. It was… something.
"PLEASE ADOPT ME AS YOUR DAUGHTER!" Serenity pleaded as Jaune took a brief moment…. a good… long… brief moment to register what Serenity just asked of him
.
.
.
"WHAT?!" Jaune screamed, as the actuality was that Serenity didn't love him in a sexual matter; but as a father figure "S-Serenity what, what do you mean adopt?"
"Like I said. I love as a father I never had. You've been so kind, helpful, and caring towards me. You even gave me shoes when didn't need to. I promise I will be the best daughter I can be. I will love Pyrrha as my mother and whatever kid or kids she has as my beloved siblings. I swear it." Serenity quickly explained. Staying in a bowing position as she would accept any answer Jaune gave her, but at least she told him
Meanwhile Jaune didn't know how to answer Serenity. She was at least a year or two younger then him. Maybe even three or four years he would have to ask her later. But still, he could tell she meant every word. He wondered what Pyrrha would say. Well to be honest he actually did know what she'd say, even when pregnant. Sighing he knew what his answer was just from that thought alone.
"Serenity." Jaune stated, kneeling down as he helped her back up. A moment of silence between the two as Jaune smiled "… D-Daughter."
"D-Daughter?" Serenity muttered, as she went wide eyed at what Jaune just said before smiling widely. Lunging at Jaune with a big hug as she sounded like she was sniffling a bit suddenly "Papa…"
"Yeah…. Yeah Papa." Jaune muttered as he smiled a bit. He maybe have been hesitant on it. But Pyrrha, oh his lovey Pyrrha he knew would take the girl in just like that; she was just that kind of person
Still Jaune wondered what Pyrrha would think of this either way, to be honest like he guessed she'd be happy. Shock, but happy and would love Serenity as her own. That and she'd probably be happy for their unborn child(s) would have a big sister to keep watch of them. That and she'd probably give him an ear full of not adopting Serenity sooner. Yep defiantly. But he couldn't wait for that, because then he'd have his Pyrrha back. His lovely, lovely bride…
-Villains Tale #2: Cinder X Makuta. Wait when did this happen?!-
It was another day in the Lair of Villainy. Mercury still getting use to the new allies they had from the psychos, egg heads, stuck up pricks; so on and so forth. But all in all, everything was fine for now. He even made a friend with that weird scorpion guy from his home world Tyrain or something along those lines. Caster and his master seemed cool enough, though the extremely attractive older woman from his home world; Raven had told him not to get… too close to those two.
The only other new allies he'd gotten use to so far was one called Char, who was helping Decepticon named Shock Wave create their own version of one of the so called 'Zaku II' units. The servants Jaune had summoned up were also some of the others, most were nice so far. Though he kind is wondering if he has a slight fetish with older aggressive woman because he couldn't help but try and hit on the servant named Carmilla. Then almost getting gutted by the woman with the threat of being slowly castrated. Yeah… no, maybe he was starting to develop that kind of fetish. He blamed Emerald for that. Speaking of, he was moving to one of the girl's rooms. The one called Linda, who it seemed Emerald became friends with over a few things. One being made fun of because of their green affiliated hair colors.
But as he made his way down a small hallway with a few doors for each of their new allies' residents, he almost bumped into one of the natives of this cave. Who like most he'd seen so far, looked… off. Like dead kind of and all now with the Deception's symbol branded on their faces.
Which made Mercury cringe from how painful that must have been. That along with the whole confusion on the alliance with the cave natives and their faction in the first place. It was all very… confusing. Though as he decided to just let that be, while stopping now near Linda's room seeing her named carved in the door itself. He heard muffled crying. A bit worried, Mercury opened the door and was thankful it was unlocked.
Mercury was worried he'd see a hurt Emerald. But instead he was seeing Linda, patting the back of a tear-filled Emerald who was eating ice cream… well a third carton already. How she got it… you know what not the point. Point was Mercury was now even more confused why his usually tough as nails friend was crying her eyes out.
"Oh Mercury right?" Linda asked, looked over to Mercury who just nodded "Okay, good timing then. I was gonna get you to help my gal pal out here. She's ah… going through something."
"WAHHH!" Emerald wailed as she took another spoonful of what Mercury guessed was mint chocolate chip ice cream… again how she even got… NO. No… it was better left alone. He was kind of worried about the answer and the possibilities to that particular question could be
"Yeah. I can see that. Ah… hey moss head. What's ah… wrong?" Mercury asked, using the accursed nickname Emerald hated to see if that would help out
"F-F-FUCK YOU WAHHH!" Emerald answered back, crying some more as she flipped Mercury off with her left hand; while eating another scoop of ice cream with her right. It was kind of impressive if you asked anyone that moment
"Well that kind of worked. Seriously, Linda what's up with her?" Mercury asked once more. Linda sighing a bit like she was dreading to give him an answer "Um…"
"No it's fine. Just ah… seems like your boss Cinder has a…" Linda began to say, as she was the only one to notice Emerald tense up a bit all of suddenly while sniffling some more. But knowing there was no going back, Linda prepared for the worst "A boyfriend."
"WAHHHH, WHY. WHY MY ONEE-SAN, MY WAIFU, MY SENPIA!" Emerald screamed as it turned out she also had in her lap a handmade cute looking (If also not a bit creepy) looking doll of Cinder. That also looked like it had been… ahem, used. Mercury already decided NOT to go down that rabbit hole
"Dammit Chinatsu. I told you you're damn otaku slang would stick to her…" Linda grumbled, even though she was partially to blame too for Emerald learning this slang "Anyways. Yeah. That's why Emerald here is a balling mess of misery."
"Okay that make's WAY more sense. But can I ask… who?" Mercury asked. As now he was really curious on who Cinder was dating in this rather unique pool of men of their alliance
Linda meanwhile sighed. Helping Emerald up, before walking herself and the still sniffling Emerald out of the room. But motioning Mercury to just follow and that he would get his answer real soon.
.
.
.
"I…I just… ah…" Mercury could only mumble in gibberish. As the sight before him was something as he along with Linda and a silently baling Emerald watched from behind a corner of a cliff side that lead outside. Showing quite a view of the land below
But who they were seeing was one Cinder Falls still in her silent like state as she was STILL getting use to her implants. Who was with her, was her boyfriend as of now. One large mechanized red and black robotic man known as Makuta. Just sitting down as Cinder sat down next to him, just resting her head against his metal right arm. Both seeming at peace oddly.
"Yeah I know. Freaking crazy right. I never would have guessed when I meet those two." Linda exclaimed as she remembered some of the members in Maleficents group trading something called munny with one another when they spotted the two kissing which to be honest she would have NEVER thought could be possible if she hadn't seen it herself. Though there were other… rumors at how close they were in this relationship of theirs which made the underling shiver a bit from the mere remembrance of said rumors "Thing is… I've heard they've… you know."
"No… No, how I mean him and her…. HOW?" Mercury questioned, as SO many questions were coming to mind. Mainly, how the hell do they screw. It wasn't even out of some perverse want to know, he was legit curious if Makuta had a… thing and how Cinder wasn't dead from well contact with it
Other thoughts flooded his mind too. Like could Cinder get pregnant, was there anything down there for Makuta to even spew out for reproduction. Did he always have one or was it just made for this situation. Was Cinder chafing. SO many questions and all of them having quiet unsettling answers.
"WAHHH…. NO FAIR, IT WAS SUPPOSED TO ME WITH HER!" Emerald cried in a slight hushed tone even if she was screaming
"Man denial is a flicked mistress ain't she?" Mercury quipped as he could tell Emerald was having a real hard time accepting that Cinder was in a relationship. That and probably she wasn't into women, much again to what Mercury guess was many things Emerald was in denial of
"Shut UP!" Emerald stated angrily through her wails, before glaring back at Makuta "I'm going to kick his metal ass!"
"Oh yeah sure. You miss 150-pound girl, are going to beat the crap out of an 8 to possibly 10-foot metal man that could crush into pulp just like that. Yeah that's gonna go over real good in your favor right?" Linda mused sarcastically, as she mainly trying to prevent a possible death if Emerald continued down this course of action
"Well… FINE. Whatever…" Emerald grumbled, thankfully seeing the very one-sided fight it would be between her and the giant metal man who also was the proclaimed Lord of Shadows of his world… yeah… yeah maybe that's a stupid idea just now from her "Also I'm 140 thank you."
"Right…" Linda and Mercury muttered as they could tell she was lying through her teeth. Especially after all those cartons of ice cream so far. But just like before, Emerald started to tear up again still seeing her crush cozying up to someone that wasn't her
"Anyways. Thanks for showing us Linda. Let's ah… get moss head here back to her room." Mercury stated as Linda nodded in agreement and helped Emerald back up on her feet
With that the three just made their way back inside. Where for the rest of the day, crying, many tear/ snot stained cloths and somehow some more cartons of ice cream that Mercury had no idea even got into the hands of Emerald would occur. Mercury being forced to go through it with Linda. Only by day's end then, Mercury would have a realization. One that could have saved him from the days' events.
"I should have just stayed in bed…"
-Queen of light Tale #1: The Queen hides more under her armor then believed. -
Erie walked down the hallway from the Queen's room. With a bundle of cloth in her hands, lovely soft yet sturdy cloth. Erie herself trying to remember the location of the washroom to be exact, while calming herself down. Why, because she just helped her Lady undress for once. Shirt, pants… undergarments and all. An… unusual thing to happen since the Queen needed it helped this time. Though despite that, Erie had a looked of confusion and slight pity. Why. Well…
.
.
.
"My Lady, I've come to bring in the daily reports!" Erie stated, as she knocked on the door to Lady's chambers. Brining in the usual daily reports for her Lady to read first thing in the morning, by now it was a routine she'd burnt to memory. But today was different, her Lady didn't answer the door immediately like she always did. Shrugging she knocked on the door once more "My Lady. Again I'm here with the daily reports!"
But once more no response could be heard. Now this was getting Erie a bit worried now, this wasn't normal behavior for her Lady. That and suddenly hearing some grunts coming from inside the room. Grunts of irritation. So being the loyal right-hand woman of her Lady. Kicked the door open with two hard kicks before the doors shot wide opened. Erie running in. But closing the doors quickly so the Lady could still have privacy in her room. Looking back at her Lady moments later, she saw well… ahem… you'll… you'll see.
Yes for what Erie was seeing in front of her was her Lady out of her armor for once. Only wearing her solid grey colored undergarments as it seemed her Lady had been in the process of changing and seeming to have trouble with it oddly. That and she looked a bit tired. Speaking of Erie learned something then and there about her lady. Her Lady was…. STACKED. Like there was no way a woman could have that perfect of a figure and just wow. Not too big, not too small, just in the middle of her own… AHEM, a wide variety of attractive qualities a good portion of individuals would seek.
Her Lady's flawless pale skin was also very lovely too, along with her bright green eyes and long silver messy hair with a small strand of it held up by a dark grey bow in the back only added to Erie's Lady's beauty. Though what caught her attention more was the small pair of silver fox ears, her silver fox tail and two sets of doubled grey marks that came from the lower part of her jaw; then stopped on the start of her lower cheeks. All in all, Erie felt a sudden switch flip in her and she couldn't help but stare at the sight of her barley dressed Lady.
"M-M-M-My LADY!" Erie yelled all of sudden. Blushing madly as her mind was in a haze now from the sight, only for a pillow to be thrown in her face
"DON'T LOOK, IT'S EMBARRASING!" The Queen of Light screamed as she her face was a bit flushed too
That's when the sudden freak outs between the two started, a lot of screaming, embarrassment and Erie taking a quick peek or so. It lasted a good six minutes before they ceased their actions, followed by five more minutes of awkwardness as the Queen of Light finished undressing out of her clothing. Well with the help of Erie since it turned out her Lady had stayed up the whole night on an online video game she played in a rather addictive manner. So she was more fatigued then she wanted to be, which is what Erie had to help with the rest of the undressing while keeping her rising if not confusing hormones in check.
Still after that, the awkwardness of the situation simmered down as the Queen of Light dressed up in what she called her 'Casual' attire. That being a plaid dark brown/ white toned short-ish skirt, dark brown leather knee high heeled laced boots, a long sleeve brown dress shirt with a black lower half, a black choker around her neck, a black metal ring on her left hand, a black piece of cloth tired around her right hand and finally to add to look a pair of black rimmed glasses. To be honest the Queens outfit could be considered anything but 'casual', and Erie could only call this outfit of her Lady's one thing.
- "KAWII AND HOT!"- Erie screamed. Realizing now that she was quickly developing a rather interesting set of fetishes thanks to this one moment in her life. Didn't help that it turned out the shirt her Lady wore (In an accidental manner) showed how rather large her… bust was from what Erie had seen when assisting her Lady today to change. So many thoughts started to come to mind…so many thoughts – "NO, bad me. BAD. Do not lewd you're Lady… your mother figure. DO NOT LEWD… I want to so bad… NO. NO. SHE THE CLOSEST THING TO A MOTHER FOR YOU. BAD ME… why must my hormones do this, what is wrong with me?!"-
"So... I guess things are changing." The Queen of light stated, as she'd been handed the daily reports her people reported in from their scouting assignments. Things were… unsettling to say the least, very much unsettling as she sighed. Looking up seeing Erie was still out of it, cute to see she decided to just talk with Erie some more to get her mind off of the reports "Erie I do apologize for what happened earlier. It must be embarrassing to have seen me in such a state."
"What oh yes… I mean NO. I mean I didn't mind but not in ah… ah a sexual way AND I'll stop talking." Erie quickly tried to explain, before sighing face palming at how flustered she was; still the Queen of Light chuckled. Which a few moments later got Erie to chuckle as the two laughed some more before the awkwardness was near gone now. Erie decided to try and salvage the situation "Anyways. My Lady what I'm trying to say is you look very lovely. I just didn't expect you to look like how you do, no offense. You should do this look more often if you also don't mind me saying."
"Hm, well first off none taken and thank you Erie dear." The Queen of Light kindly exclaimed, before averting her gaze for just a moment as she intertwined her hands together. Before looking back at Erie "Though if I'll be honest. I prefer my armor more. Helmet and all."
"B-But why. My Lady please forgive my forwardness. But I think I and all your loyal subjects would love to gaze upon your beauty!" Erie quickly argued, with a tone of utter deviation to her Lady as she stood up from her seat for a moment. Before sitting back down seconds later realizing who she was talking, followed by clearing her throat "Ahem. I ah apologize for my rudeness my Lady. It was uncalled for."
"Hehe. No I appreciate your honestly Erie. It's refreshing, but to be honest…" The Queen of Light began to exclaim, as she averted her gaze once more and lowered her head as she started at her feet. Clenching her intertwine hands for a moment, before loosening her grip. Before finally looking back at Erie with a big smile, two sharp K9's showing now as she gave Erie a kind gaze "To be perfectly honest. I hate the sight of my face and I hide it, so no one ever has to see such a horrid face as mine my dear Erie."
Erie though froze for a moment, her heart fluttered seeing that lovely face and smile on her lady. But it hurt more as she heard the contradicting words she spoke. Erie at this moment couldn't even conceived on how…
Just how someone so beautiful, could hate her very own face?
-Black Heart Cult Tale #1: The lord has hobbies too you know! (Final)-
In a room, a dark room like always a man sat upon his throne. This man was the Lord of Darkness, yeah I know edgy right?
Ahem, anyways to most of his nameless and let's be honest expendable subjects. They saw him as a leader above all leaders, a god in all rights and a man of men. All true if you asked the Lord himself. BUT… he was more than that, as behind closed doors like his throne room currently. He was in fact a secret super fan of…
.
.
.
Gatcha Games! [DRAMATIC DUN, DUN, DUN!]
.
.
.
But no seriously, the Lord Of Darkness was a closet Gatcha game addict. Like you flipping him off or even decided to take a deuce on the floor in his throne room. The man would not take notice. Well eventually he would then you'd be killed for it. But that's not the point. Point is dude had a vigorous love to Gatcha games and-
"5X RATE UP MY DARK ENDUCED ASS!" The Lord suddenly screamed as it echoed within his thankfully soundproof throne room
AND he needs help soon. Like the man couldn't run out of money to be exact since a perk's to being a near literal demigod was he could make money just like that with his powers. All gold pieces that kept his operations running. By this point he'd been doing it for so long, he didn't even have to focused on the money creation and just chill out like he was currently. Still…
"SON OF HEARTLESS WHORE MOTHER. I wanted YUKI. YOU heard me you money eating game. YUKI MY WAIFU. She is a goddess, a wonderful busty goddess!" The Lord screamed at the phone that looked more like a mismatch of various smart phones to make well… what was a literal purple colored brick of smart phone components in his hands "PLEASE, PLEASE I've already spent 80k for her. What else do I need me to do. Sell my soul to you monster!"
…You know, seeing the man now as he screams at his phone for a fictional woman that he will neither deny nor admit he's attracted to. It's hard to believe he's also when not in this state of being is a bloodthirsty, slight, or very insanely, murderous ruler of the literal darkness. Well, guess everyone has hobbies…
"YES, YES I GOT MY YUKI FINALLY HAHAHAHAHA. OH GOD I WOULD PUNCH A RAINBOW RIGHT NOW IF I COULD!" The Lord shouted, as suddenly the door opened showing one of the many nurses come in with a worried look as it seemed the lord was so loud this time even his sound proof room couldn't conceal it…and that is a very contradictive statement right there
"My Lord are you-" The Nurse asked, opening the door before suddenly she saw her Lord appear right before her. Grabbing her head and slamming it to the ground. Before she could even scream in pain, the Lord grabbed the door and just slammed it. Over and over again against her head until it was mush after a minuet at least
"OH YEAH. THAT FELT GREAT HA!" The Lord screamed, still on his rather over brutal need to just kill right now for getting his Gatcha waifu. Then he heard whimpering, looking down he saw one of the horrified children who lived in the castle since he had no rule of families being made if it happened "Hi there sweetie… what's wrong hm?"
"T-That was my mommy…" The little girl answered, tearing up and trying to cry in fear of the Lord looking down at her
"…." The Lord didn't say at first, before he motioned the girl to come closer as he knelt down. The little girl doing so as the Lord moved to whisper something "I got my Yuki."
"Huh?" The little girl muttered, before a loud boom echoed and a thump echoed in the hallway
The lord meanwhile was looking down at the now headless dead little girl, while in his left hand was a 44 magnum with the barrel smoking before it vanished just like that.
"And now my joy has subsided. Thanks you two, you were a big help to I your Lord." The Lord exclaimed to the two fresh murders of his, before his stomach growled "Now I'm hungry. Hm... might as well have a snack, besides it's quicker this way for the janitor and I have the rest of the day to grind and level up my Yuki!"
With that, the Lord just took the two bodies and dragged them in so he could have a snack while farming and grinding for materials to level up his Gatcha Waifu. He'd clean the blood on the floor later if the janitor didn't come by then. Which if they didn't, guess a new janitor was going to hired real soon. But moments later the doors closed behind and so again was another normal day for the Lord of Darkness.
Seriously though… what the fuck?
-Advisors Tale #1: Holo's horrifying realization-
"WHY?!"
That was the sounds of Holo, screaming to the heavens or whatever one could consider the sky in this world between worlds, space between space, darkness into the void… you get the idea. But this was a scream of horrifying realization… pure, horrifying realization. The only ones to hear her was one of Pyrrha's servants Boudica, Yoruichi, Amber and the Watcher. All four the only one's not busy getting the hang of a new small little perk that came with being advisor. Being able to make what they need by thought alone.
The fact they could also make their own rooms like Pyrrha by sheer will. Which again was why most were busy was surprising if anything since they thought well only Pyrrha could do so. Still aside from these five, the others were still working on the finishing tweaks to their new rooms. These four and Holo being the only ones to have already finished up an hour ago.
Well aside from Boudica who was told by Pyrrha get some fresh air. A thank for the red-haired woman for helping her out with the more mental side of being pregnant. Not that others didn't help on that, but Boudica had prior experience of being a mother. That along with the fact Boudica and Pyrrha during the… week well week or two being placed in this group. Had formed a kind of sisterly bond, which to be honest they could be mistaken as such considering the red hair and nearly identical skin tones.
Still the four advisor and one servant decided to hang out as Amber called it. So they could get to know one another a bit better. A bit of talking occurred, before Holo's sudden and current freak out as the fox woman looked like she'd seen a truth that destroyed her whole perception of life itself.
"What are going about Holo?" Yoruichi asked, as this was odd behavior from the usually calm woman
"I…I just realized something. So horrible… so… so soul crushing." Holo answered. Donning on a pained look that only was reserved to those who experienced true traumatic pain. Boudica moving up to Holo as she gave the fox woman a hug whole patting the top of her head
"There, there. Let it all out if you need to." Boudica sweetly offered. As she could tell whatever Holo had realized, really was putting the girl in a state of dread
"Thank you…" Holo replied. Tearing up a bit as Amber and Yoruichi at least moved to Holo to help comfort the girl
"For real. We're here for you, but tell us what trouble's you friend. We'll listen." Amber offered now. Smiling ever so kindly to Holo, who smiled back as she teared up some more
"I know… it's just… just…." Holo began to tear up some more, as the girls listen while the Watcher was impassive; already having a good idea on what Holo's 'Horrifying' realization was "I… I CAN'T GET DRUNK!"
.
.
.
"I… I'm sorry what?" Amber asked, as she, Yoruichi and Boudica suddenly all gave Holo a questioning gaze. The Watcher meanwhile just kept watching the scene before him unfold
"I. Can't. Get…. DRUNK!" Holo rephrased as she began to tear up so more "That and I also realized I'm now one of the more responsible ones here too. I can deal with that. BUT… only if I can get drunk after and I CAN'T!"
"Okay. Aside from the fact you look like your very soul was crushed made me at least think this was more… serious." Boudica stated as she sighed herself some "But how do you know you can't get drunk?"
"I tried. I conjured up some ale that I love drinking down back in my world. But… but I… I just can't. I drank two years' worth of alcohol in an hour." Holo began to explain, in a teary mess
"How are you not dead?!" Yoruichi quickly quipped as that was a LOT of alcohol to drink even for a goddess
"Yoruichi!" Amber scolded as she elbowed the older woman's shoulder
"What I'm just saying. That's a lot!" Yoruichi quickly defended, as come on. Again that was A LOT of alcohol for one woman to drink, Yoruichi didn't care if it Holo was a goddess or not. She should be dead by this point for all that toxicity going into her system
"That aside ladies." Boudica cut in as she patted the top of Holo's head once more before straightening the girl back up and on her feet; she and the others following moments later "There's nothing to worry about Holo. This is something new none of us could have accounted for. So-"
"I knew." The Watcher quickly exclaimed, calm as ever as the woman turned their attention to the large tall bald man
"You knew?" Amber asked. She and the girls confused on how the Watcher already knew, that along with why he didn't tell any of them this when they first started to get to know one another "And don't say-"
"You did not ask Amber." The Watcher simply proclaimed, Amber grumbling a bit as to be honest that was accurate. But like why that even be something to ask upon, like seriously not being able to get drunk was a weird and specific effect to have
"Fair point…" Yoruichi quipped, Boudica and Holo grumbling too in agreement. Though the Watcher noticing the girls mood shift, decided to at least explaining the whole story on how he even figured this out
"If it makes you feel better. I only learned this tidbit of information from Zelretch." The Watcher answered as the way he found out from the old man who was now confirmed to be an old vampire… an old troll of a vampire. Which was the reason he knew that Holo's dread was about her lack of being able to get drunk
"How'd that old creep figure this… this curse out?" Holo asked. As now she had a feeling to kick Zelretch in the crouch next time they saw each other or at least when he comes out of his room to get some dinner since Boudica had become the chef of the group; alongside the adorable Medea Lily
"Same way you did. Though he found it amusing and told me to and I quote. 'Keep it a secret, especially form the Wolf Goddess. Her reaction will be priceless.'." The Watcher answered. The girls now giving him glares of irritation at the rather cruel suggestion, especially Holo
"Why the hell did you go along with it?" Yoruichi asked. Curious at why the so far ever so serious and calm minded Watcher would go along with the troll of an old vampires suggestion
"Because since I can't keep with my duties as the Watcher in my world." The Watcher explained, as the girls for a moment still were wrapping their head around the Watchers job of literally watching over all realities of his worlds multiverse which sounded like a headache just waiting to happen to them personally "I simply went along with the old man's suggestion because I was… what's the word… bored. Yes bored."
"You… You bald motherfucker!" Holo suddenly screamed, irked at that answered as the girls did their best to hold Holo back from just lunging at the Watcher. All four of them blinking for a moment as Holo tried to break free to attack the Watcher. Only for the man to vanish from sight, as the four calmed down "Where… where did he…"
Holo got her answer though, as moments later they heard from their left a door open. Looking the saw the door to the Watchers room having been open. Only for now to be closed, followed by the sounds of clicking locks.
"How. Seriously how does he do that, he's an eight or ten-foot-tall bald man with pasty white skin and the head size that I still question how his body supports?!" Holo screamed, as she was SO going to get back at the Watcher and Zelretch for this. Zelretch first a painful hit, the watcher just a kick to the shin or punch; or whatever
"I don't know. Look let's just all go back to my room, relax a little. I have tea, it may not be alcohol. But it's something." Amber offered, as Holo sighed but smiled back
"Sure. Sure. Just don't be surprised if I laze about after like two minutes." Holo quipped, chuckling a little as Amber did too
"I'll come too. Raiden's just finishing up the martial arts lessons we have for team RWBY in the future. He's just finishing up his section so I'm free!" Yoruichi exclaimed as a while ago she and Raiden learned the advisors together or alone were doing their part to help team RWBY's growth in the battles to come. She and Radian being one of the joint trainers in this case
"Same here. Pyrrha suggested I get some fresh air anyways. Besides, Medea, Arthur and Nightingale are keeping an eye on her. So let's go and enjoy some quality bonding time friends. Hehe." Boudica graciously accepted, as she'd been wanting to get to know everyone better and this was a good start to that goal
"Good to hear. Come on let's enjoy the company of one another my friends." Amber exclaimed. Happy as can in a good while. She and the girls making their way to their room, but one thing was for certain to the holder of the fall maiden powers
Things are good now, but it would come a time where this very sweet time of peace would have to end. Though when it did, she swore she would make enough good memories to look back on. Memories of people… no. No, memories of good friends that would be worth living for and dying for if needed.
-Advisors Tale #2: The Nurse is an angel... a scary angel... (Final)-
Today was a day like any other in the realm the advisors lived in. All was normal, with the void blackness that surrounded the mind created homes of said advisors. But though today was like every other day… there was ONE thing that was different. It was medical examinations for the men of the group, well the ones who weren't checking up or doing stuff in the other worlds like a few were.
Though these were being done by whom you ask. Well that's easy enough to answer, as the one conducting these examinations was none other than one of four heroic spirits that dear Pyrrha summoned. One Florence Nightingale. Who had already placed herself as head care taker when it came to the health needs of everyone in this place. Of course, Medea Lily was her little adorable assistant. BUT, today the young one was resting leaving the men in the hands of the rather… zealous if not also brilliant nurse.
"No. NO DO NOT CUT MY LEG OFF!" One Sergeant Johnson screamed to the heavens from within the small clinic the head nurse had been able to conjure up rather easily
To be honest it was a rather sudden order for all the men to line up for health examinations, the girls seeming to already have gotten theirs earlier these past few days. Which left the men in the hands of the rather angelic looking nurse. Though despite her appearance, she did take it a little too far. How well…
"I must. You have a small cut on your left gastrocnemius (Calf) muscle , if its stay's unattended to it could fester with harmful bacteria then become infected. So, let me heal you!" Nightingale explained calmly, if not with some sternness in her tone as she was trying to get Johnson to calm down so she could gently cut his leg off to save his life
"It's a two-inch cut woman. You don't need to cut the whole leg off for that!" Sergeant Johnson argued as this woman truly was a mad one and if what he learned about her kind being a heroic spirit. Her class of Berserker fit her WAY too well. Which made it kind of sad since she had been know to be a rather brilliant woman in her mortal life. But the Berserker madness seemed too cause her need to heal, up like a hundred on overdrive
Still the utter madness of what she was saying in the name of healing him was insane. Granted she was approachable, but not when she was like this. Sadly, servant enhanced strength was finally overclocking his, as she was able to hold him down with both her arms. While staring down at him with her madness induced eyes.
"Please understand. I take no pleasure in forcing you to sit still. But my job is to make sure all of you are as healthy as can be." Nightingale stated. Before holding his right hand between both of her hands all of sudden as she smiled at him so sweetly. Like once more a beautiful angel that came down to save him in his time of need. Well until… "Even if it means I have to kill you to do so."
"THAT'S THE OPPOSITE OF HELPING!" Sergeant Johnson screamed at the insanity of the contradictable explanation before a fight began once more between the two. Though outside, as the sounds of screaming occurred, a portion of the male advisors sat there, along with the only male servant Arthur as they could hear the muffled battle going on inside the clinic
"I feel like I may want to run away soon." Arthur muttered as he was now having second thoughts of going in for a health examination
"You might want to do that lad." Gehrman in his wheelchair stated, though he seemed a bit ashamed like something happened
"Yeah…" One Ainz Ooal Gown, Griffa and Virgil answered all seeming to have that rather odd look of shame as well as that all sat on the ground, aside from Gehrman for obvious wheelchair related reasons
"Um. Are you all okay, you seem off friends?" Arthur asked as this wasn't normal behavior for any of the men here
"We are young man… just, just here moral support." Griffa answered as he still had his large backpack on him, and Arthur wondered for a moment how comfortable it was to sit like that since it didn't seem like it at all
"For whom?" Arthur asked once more. A bit worried about the answer the second he asked his question
"You." Virgil and Ainz responded back this time. Both seeming to have also be affect greatly by whatever the heck this shame was
"M-Me… why. Wait don't tell me…" Arthur questioned, until a sudden realization came to mind at why they were moral support… they already had their exams "No…"
"Yes. Trust me boy, you're gonna need it." Ainz exclaimed as his examination he thought it would be quick. Real quick since he's basically a living skeleton… which are two words that contradicted each other like a lot
But anyways, it turned out that wasn't the case for Ainz when it came to his health examination. Let's just say his emotional inhibitor was on overdrive the whole hour. He felt… used even if that wasn't the case and it was all for legit medical reasons. The others had similar feelings for their exam's. Nightingale was a kind woman if not insane one, but again kind. Though had no idea of personal boundary's when it came to checking up on them. That and they all received death threats of being killed if they didn't behave which for most, they would have brush off the threat. But if Princess Henrietta's theory from a while ago was true… then yeah. She could easily do it and she seemed more than willing if it meant 'saving' them from even the smallest of wounds or bruises.
But as the men aside from Arthur all shuttered in their own way at the handling they got from the dear nurse. They heard the door open, Johnson falling onto the grounds moments later wrapped up in bandages. As Nightingale stood over him, letting out a quick sigh for a moment.
"Honestly… you military types will never change." Nightingale murmured, remembering a few of her memories of her time in the battle field. Patching up soldiers here and there, most of the time it was half-half on the living to dead ratio; but still she guesses no matter who it was. Most military types would always be troublesome for her. But looking at the latest of her patients she smiled once more "Arthur good. I was hoping you'd come by. I've never had the chance to examine someone from the middle age. So, this will be helpful for us both. Now come on, we don't have all day."
"R-Run… boy…." Sergeant Johnson groaned, before blacking out as Arthur went wide eyed at the sudden realization at what he was subjecting himself to
"OH… ah, maybe another time. I forgot I think I need to check on master at the moment and Medea. So if you will I-" Arthur began to say, pivoting around and about to book it before he felt firm grip on his shoulder pad, before a slight pressure followed as Arthur now could say he faced the true if not lovely face of death itself. Looking back at Nightingale a bit, he could see her smiling a bit which he didn't know if it was scary when she didn't smile or when she was smiling
"Like I said. Come now. We have and exam to do." Nightingale simply stated, before grabbing Arthur in a slightly tight choke hold while dragging him into the clinic. Making sure all the while that Arthur was not stepping on the out cold Johnson
"Help…me…" Arthur wheezed out as he looked to the men for help. All of them doing a silent pray for him instead of helping – "TRAITORS!"-
Looking ahead some more, he saw all most of the women still here looking back at him. He did not though see his fellow other two servants or his master. Which made sense since they were most likely busy helping Pyrrha out or resting alongside their pregnant master. Still, when he looked at them for any kind of help… they did the same exact thing and prayed for him simply.
- "WHY, WHY FRIENDS?!"- Arthur screamed in his mind, as he knew his fate was sealed in the hands of the now official head nurse of this group…
The beautiful, angelic, gentle, caring, crazy, zealous, berserker of a woman who was their angelic nurse. Lord have mercy on those who were still on their trips in the other worlds currently. Because they were going to be so confused and then scared out of their wits…
-Hero's Tale #3: A moment with a contractor, two teens and two little kids-
A star filled night sky was again above the Traverse Town, like always. But today, a man stood in the courtyard where the bell tower and hotel of the area was. This was Hei, one of the first of many residents to come to all this place by this point all called home. He just stared at these stars with a calm gaze. Not wearing his trench coat or mask like he usually did. But as he gazed, he hear footsteps coming over from his right.
Taking a quick glance, he saw it was two girls walking down toward him. One Hana Song and Yuffie. Both girls who were very alike personality wise. That and also two girls who'd become quick best friends thanks to their rather similar personalities. Though taking another glance, it seemed like they also had two little girls with them. The one's called Illya and Rin. Most likely babysitting along with seeming to enjoy doing so.
"Hei, sup dude!" Hana happily cheered at one of her first other friends she made in this place and well that she meet back in Jak's world
To be honest this was the first time Hana had seen Hei out of his jacket and mask. That and it was one of the few times she caught him just staring out at the sky lite night. But only this time she decided to say hi to him, that and with some company maybe she could help Hei become a bit less… cold with everyone like he'd been so far. Not that he didn't talk with anyone, but he was always cold. So Hana hoped having someone who's also pretty chipper and two adorable little gals with her would help a bit more.
"Hana. Yuffie." Hei just stated, as the four stopped next to his right side while he looked back up at the night sky again
"Nice way to say hello mister grumpy." Yuffie quipped, as Rin and Illya chuckled a bit at the tease "Anyways. We just saw you here. So we thought you'd like some company."
"Hm." Mei simply hummed as he kept his gaze upon the stars
"Of course that's your answer. Oh Hei, you haven't officially met these two adorable kiddos yet. But this is Rin and Illya." Hana exclaimed, moving the two younger girls in front of her who seemed a bit uneasy as they stared at Hei who was still looking up at the star filled night sky
"Don't worry girls. Hei may look scary, but's he's nice… enough. Say hi." Yuffie added in kindly, giving the girls some reassurance even though what she said was true; Hei also had already showed he wasn't above scaring kids if he wasn't in the mood. Which also was hard to tell most of times, what with his barely changing expressions the whole time he was here
"Um… h-hello Mister Hei." Illya said first, calming herself down as she did a quick if not shaky curtsey "I-I'm Illya Von Einzbern. A p-p-pleasure."
"And…. I'm…. I'm Rin Tohsaka. A pleasure too." Rin answered next, doing the same as Illya did with curtsey. Before she and Illya saw Hei finally look at them with his rather dead looking eyes as they flinched back a bit from how scary they found him even if their big sister Yuffie reassured them he was… nice
"Hm. Right those were then names then. I hope you're more well behaved them most other kids." Hei exclaimed as Rin and Illya shivered remembering what Spike told them he did when he accidently bumped into him
"You still need to apologize to poor little dragon boy for that. Was really uncalled for." Hana quickly scolded as she REALLY wished Hei would just apologize already; Twilight and most of the other ponies plus some the adults didn't care for Hei just from that alone
"I'll get to it eventually alright Hana." Hei simply responded back, looking back up at the stars filled sky once again
"Yeah right…" Hana muttered as she had feeling he wouldn't. But she at least was still very curious on why he kept looking at the stars "Anyways. I did peg you for a star gazer."
"You' be surprised. I like star gazing, even had my own telescope back home. Though didn't make much sense back in my home world." Hei explained, before he took notice that the girls were doing the same as he did now
"Why is that mister Hei?" Rin asked curiously. Hei sighing a bit as 'Mister Hei' was going to get old REAL quick for him
"Hei, just Hei alright. You two little one's can just call me Hei." Hei quickly stated as Illya and Rin slowly just nodded that they understood; while keeping their gazed upon the stars. Hei meanwhile deciding that aside from Yuffie who he believed was there when his world was explained. Hana, Rin and Illya might as well know too since there was no way they could use this info against him "If you got to know though. My world, I'm what you call a contractor."
"So… you do like, housework?" Rin bluntly asked. Confused as a child herself would be despite that fact she was a bit smarter than the avenger child. Illya was curious too, even if she didn't what Rin was talking about. Hana and Yuffie just chuckled a bit as Hei rolled his yes
"No. I'm a merc you could say. Someone who does something for payment that benefits me and would usually have to pay in return. Well in basic terms." Hei explained as he wasn't going to go deep into what contractors were with two six or maybe even eight years… along with Hana "Anyways. Out it simply, the stars in my world went away and were replaced by new ones. One's that represented each of us contractors."
"Whoa… really?" Hana asked this time, she was surprised hear this the first time while Yuffie kept her peace having indeed hear this before a long time ago when it was her, her friend a just a few refuges
"Yeah. Each star represented one of us, when one fell. It meant that contract died." Hei bluntly stated, Hana and Yuffie giving Hei a slight glare for saying that so casually even if it was sad to think on
"That's… sad." Rin muttered as Illya nodded in agreement
"That's just how it is." Hei simply answered, as it got silent once more. Very awkwardly silent. Though Yuffie and Hana decided to book it and leave Hei with the kids. Much as they hated to do so since they liked watching over these two a lot already. But without even having to say it, they knew Hei needed something to force him to be more talkative, might as well be this
"Anyways…" Hana began to say, before she gave Rin and Illya a wink much to the little one's confusion. Before Yuffie began to run off to the exit, Hana following behind moments later "GIRLS KEEP AN EYE ON HEI HERE!"
Before Hei at least could argue from what he suddenly hearing. Hana and Yuffie were already off and up the stairs leading to the entrance to this district. Seconds later silence filled the air again. As Hei looked down at the two little girls looking back up at him.
"Shit." Hei simply swore, even in front of the two kids as he knew… he was stuck with these girls for the time being
At this point, he would prefer fighting endless waves of heartless then babysit. Anything to get away from this very uneasy situation for the usual calm man. Oh yes… yes indeed.
-Hero's Tale #4: Merlin… (Final)-
It was another day of in the place called Traverse Town. Everyone doing their own thing one way or another, though behind a door in the first district. A secluded home in the middle of a large pond laid dormant there. Inside was the towns eldest Wizard Merlin. Who was cleaning up his home currently, with a broom the same time every day.
This was for the old wizard a fun and relaxing activity for him to do. Something about the silence, aside from the sounds of the dirt and dust on the ground being cleaned off; was satisfying to him. That could be said about today too, expect for one thing. He was a bit more tense than usual. Much more tense. All because of… her.
Without missing a beat, Merlin ceased sweeping like he always did this very moment in his two-hour sweep. But he made his way over to the table in his home. Taking from underneath a crystal orb. A special one of his own making at that. Swiping his hands over the orb for a few moments, as he muttered some words. The orb began to form an image that got the old wizard to smile at the sight of it.
It was the image of a blonde hair man, standing in front of his kingdom. Proud and strong, with now a lovely pregnant wife at his side too. The people he watched over cheering his name over and over again, as the man smiled back at his loyal subjects. The view alone made Merlin glad the young boy he'd know all those years ago, little Arty. Had become quiet the strong and charismatic man. Yes he was happy little Arty's world was safe from the heartless. Thanks to no part of his own doing in that regard. Though as the orb began to revert back to its clearness. Merlin's tenseness barley subsided though as he sighed, moving to a desk in the room. Opening the drawer to show a small wooden box. Opening it, their laid a large black bow with ribbon connected to it. Picking up the bow, Merlin couldn't help but smile as another fond memory came back to him from the sight of the bow alone.
.
.
.
He remembered standing against a rock on that day, the sunny sky, and clouds. The sounds of birds chipping, fox's running around and all sorts of animals filling the air around him. Then, he heard someone coming towards him in quick manner. Looking he saw… her.
Such a cute young little girl, her white dress shinning in the sun as he knew once she got older. She'd need a new one for her developing body. The black stockings around her legs, which were a bit much even for him he'd admit, especially since this little girl was still a bit TOO young for it. But it was her attire choice so he and those who entrusted her with him would never argue against it. Then the black heels she wore, that contradicted what this girls was doing out here with him. What it was, well it was training with a special sword made for her before she would get the actual one she would need to prove her worth as ruler of the land they stood upon. But Merlin, the one of this time in his life. A much more carefree and less… human in the emotional department, watched the young girl run towards him. Hair down and her hand bleeding a bit, as she was tearing up.
"Merlin, Merlin!" The little girl screamed as she stopped when Merlin stood in front of her fully, before kneeling down
"What happened here?" Merlin asked as he would let the little girl with him explain, since it was obvious what had occurred
"I-I was practicing like you told me too. B-B-But my stupid old hair tie broke and my hair got in m-my way and I cut myself. I-I-It really hurts!" The young girl answered, tearing up some more as Merlin just chuckled before he pulled out a cloth wiping the girls tear away. Then muttering an enchantment as the cut on the girl's hand healed up, a few flowers popping up from the ground beneath before withering just like that. Then Merlin simply picked the girl up with his left arm as she still sniffed a bit "T-Thank you Merlin."
"You're welcome. Though speaking of this little incident. I have a present for you." Merlin quipped. Pulling out from one of the pockets in his robe a large black bow with ribbons connected to it. Showing it to the little girl who smiled at the sight of it "A brand new pretty bow, for such a pretty young lady like you. Here let me put it on for you."
With that Merlin placed the little girl down, who herself was excited now as Merlin took his time fixing the young girl's hair up. Before placing the bow on, as it held her hair in place moments later. Now the little girl looked much better. With her hair tied up, a small cute ponytail poking out; her bangs still hanging down but not enough to cause issues as she trained. Then finally that adorable strand of hair that always poked from the top of her head. Looking at her in her attire added more to her adorable image. Merlin still found it hard to believe on day this little girl would be these lands rightful ruler one day.
"So how do you like it?" Merlin asked, as he noticed the little girl move over to a small puddle of water to inspect. It didn't take long before Merlin felt the little girl hugging him, with the biggest smile she'd make at times like these
"I love it, I love it, I LOVE IT. Thank you so much Merlin!" The young girl happily answered, happy as can be as Merlin chuckled patting the top of her head
"Anytime dear little-" Merlin began to say kindly back, but just then the memory started to fade away
.
.
.
The present-day Merlin sighed once more, as he didn't feel right saying that name again… her name. Not after his failures with her in the later years. He had tried, but in the end even with his help. That kingdom of hers, that wonderful kingdom had fallen, and he had to watched trapped in a tower in a field of flowers the whole time. It was his greatest regret and his greatest sorrows. Placing the black bow back in the wooden box, closing it then the drawer. He moved his way back to the broom to start cleaning again. But as he did, he took a glanced at the body mirror he kept in this room currently. But stiffened as he saw him, but not him… no he saw the old him now as he moved closer to the mirror taking a good look at a form he hadn't seen in years. A form he hated.
Merlin from his form of an old man with a long-bearded man in a simple blue robe, a pointed blue cap, and glasses. Now was a smooth young skinned, violet eyed, clean shaved man with wide wild white hair that had two flower's underneath his hair. Wearing what could be seen a black undershirt, black baggy pants with gold embroilment around the legs and pair of black boots with gold around the ankles. He wore finally a hooded white robe, that was long in the back. While the front stopped around his where his knees were and seemed to be two pieces with the top being the hood part that covered the shoulders. While the lower half was the rest of the actual robe her wore. It had a mix pink tie keeping the top of the hood portion together, under that was a 'V' shape of dark purple and pink. Around the sections of the hood piece that covered is shoulder, two blue 'X's were on each side, with hung cloth pieces of light purple, yellow and pink that seemed flower like in a way. With lastly a large gold tie keeping the rob together from the waist. All in all, Merlin now looked completely different from what he had all these years so far.
"I guess I can't hide from them any longer… can I?" Merlin muttered as he even sounded more younger too. But also came to the realization that her being here could be causing his usual and powerful focused to keep his usual old man form up to fail. Just too many emotions now were causing him to lose focus, way too many regretful feelings
But just as Merlin was taking hold of his situation, he didn't notice the door open and with it the Fairy God Mother coming in. Who let out a slight shocked gasp when she saw Merlin. Holding her wand up as she aimed it at Merlin.
"You, who are you young man and what have you done with the old man who lived here?" The Fairy God mother asked, sternly form the usual grandmotherly tone she spoke with. As Merlin looked back at her smirking. A smirk that he always sported whenever he'd get one up in the magic department with his friend the Fairy God Mother. It didn't take long for the older woman to realize who this was "M… Merlin?"
"In the flesh." Merlin stated, chuckling a bit as he pulled out his wand which seconds later changed back into his old long wooden curved staff, that had pink, light blue and yellow cloth around it and some other interesting additions to this staff of his "Well in younger flesh as you can see… the real me."
"Oh…" The Fairy God mother simply stated. As that was really all she could say as Merlin moved back to the table in his room, pulling up a wooden chair to take a seat as he started at the Fairy Godmother "Something the matter Merlin?"
"You can drop the disguise you know." Merlin exclaimed as Fairy God Mother slightly stiffened for a moment
"W-What are you talking about?" Fairy God Mother asked, a little too quickly as she tried to brush off the sudden statement "I am simple old woman, who look's over… how long?"
"Since we met." Merlin answered bluntly, as a sudden hit of the Fairy God mothers pride was bruised. Before she decided to just drop to disguise then since there was no reason to hid herself anymore from Merlin. Merlin smirking ever so on "Though I have to say, I never expected to see you again or to have such a title as yours dear Morgan Le Fay."
Meanwhile the Fairy God Mother's form changed like Merlin's had in his trip down memory lane. Now instead of the grandmotherly old woman in blue and who could float in the air. Now stood a tall, slender peach skinned woman, with lovely long ash blonde hair and light aqua green eyes. Wearing a black spiked tiara with a black veil that covered her face usual, but was up now. She wore a long sleeve black and dark royal blue dress with a pair of black heels. Though her outfit though one piece was also somewhat revealing. Well to be honest her stomach, upper part above her chest and the undersides of her arms were the only skin she showed. Though she also had a red mark right above the center of her where her breasts were and three red strips on both sides of her stomach that face downwards, that with a bit of red lip stick added to her looks. All in all, one could say she was a truly exotic beauty.
"I haven't been called that name in such a long time. I'm surprised though you didn't say or do anything when we first met." Morgan Le Fay quipped, as she took a seat on the opposite of Merlin crossing her arms "I didn't exactly leave on a good note with any of you back then."
"I know. But I just expected you had your reasons. Like becoming a wish granting Fairy God mother. That's something I never expected of you, especially after hearing that story with that Cinderella girl. Very out of character to how I and the rest back then knew you to be." Merlin exclaimed, as he Morgan grumbled a little
"Yes, yes big bad me and all." Morgan Le Fay groaned at her past wounds being brought up. Before she looked at the clock in the room just ticking away "I guess after all that happened, my escape from death and getting stuck in the world were little Cinderella lived in. I had a lot of time to think and a lot of time to regret. So, I guess the only thing I could do was make sure others had a happy ending. Like the one I wanted."
"Especially Cinderella?" Merlin quipped
"Especially her. I found an… odd kindship with the girl, such a sweet and beautiful girl to be treated how she was for all those years. Reminded me of myself in a way… a daughter is how I saw her at times; one that I knew I could only help when she truly needed it." Morgan Le fay explained as she smiled at the fond memories "And in the end. She got that happily ever after, oh yes she did and she earned it after all the hell her rotten family put her through."
"You really have changed." Merlin remarked, chuckling as he kept staring at her "Then again I guess I have too. I'm much less…"
"Perverted, scummy, a horn dog." Morgan Le Fay bluntly answered as some Merlin's own pride went down at the rather accurate words of his old self
"Yes, yes. But please leave me some pride will you my lady." Merlin answered, sheepishly laughing to hide the pride that had just been crushed within him
"Hm. Well if it helps. You're a lot more serious, smart… human." Morgan Le Fay said kindly, looking at Merlin now as she smiled warmly. Merlin doing the same as a silent thank you before she frowned "You know… she'll know once she sees us right. Even in our disguises she'll know."
"Yes. Yes I know that, we'll just have to be ready for that when it happens. Along with explaining to everyone else too cause they'll know real quick after that." Merlin stated, as he was dreading doing so but knew it would have to be done
"That and um… you know she's here too." Morgan Le Fay proclaimed as Merlin raised an eyebrow "Mordred I mean."
"Wait…what?" Merlin said, a bit surprised that Mordred was here as well "How do you know?"
"A mother knows… a mother always knows." Morgan Le Fay answered simply. Even if she didn't feel right calling herself a mother after how she used her own child against the father/mother who helped birth her "I hope she'll forgive me too…"
"Yeah or else we're both dead. You know her temper." Merlin stated as this just got way more complicated. Looking back at the clock once more, Morgan did the same as both sighed at the sudden issues to come "Whatever shall we do?"
"For once Merlin… I don't know." Morgan Ley Fay answered as she and Merlin sat the rest of the time with one another, in silence
Both knowing one way or another, things were going to be different for the two of them after their reveal. They just hoped it would be for the better…
-Villains Tale #3 (Final): Maleficents reasons...-
In the middle of wasteland that one Max's world was, where the Traverses Town's entrance was located somewhere in this wasteland. Were the caves, the caves that played as the base for the recently named Graceful Autocracy and their recent allies the Council of Villains was. Everyone in said alliance so far in the area having gotten used to one another to an extent. Some more quickly than others, some less quickly then others and some who were in the middle ground still with one another. Between the lines of respect and wariness.
That was the case for two particular leaders of one of the two groups here. One Babylonian King of Hero's Gilgamesh in his gold-plated armor as he sat upon his golden throne. His blood red snake like eyes glaring at the other leader of the allied team.
Who was it, none other than the dark witch Maleficent. Who sat in her own dark robes and horned head piece. Sitting upon her own black stoned throne she made for herself, while resting her staff against the left of it. Her own yellow demonic like eyes staring back at the King of Hero's.
Why you may ask were they staring at each other so intensely. Well for no other reason but because of a game of chess, the board laid out on a stone made table between the two. The pieces laid out with Gilgamesh on the right with his solid gold chess pieces, while Maleficent was on the left with ebony made chess pieces laid out. All in all, the two were staring at each other only because this game of chess. This four-hour game of chess that was on its last mile. Both sides surprisingly on equal footing. As all but two of their pawns each, the king for Gilgamesh and the queen for Maleficent were left in the game. It was currently Maleficents turn.
"I have to say. This has been quiet the game Maleficent. The only other one to make it this far is Megatron. Though he is not leader here since I am, but you… it is something. Something indeed." Gilgamesh quipped, as he waited for Maleficent to finally make her move with one of her only three last pieces. Looking at his last three he chuckled just a bit since he was in the same situation as hers "Though unlike Megatron. We are in a head on tie here. Two pawns for you and your queen left. While I only have my King and two pawns left. This is a first for me I'll admit. Truly you have the mind of a ruler."
"How… kind of you to say." Maleficent exclaimed, as she knew they both were equal tactically though through different means that was clear as day "You though are more of the front-line sort of King. Sending troops out to battle it out, be it close range or long range. While I go with more of the deceptive route. Sure I send my own soldiers out to the front. But I use spies also, to hit from within at times, use fear, paranoia to help crush the enemy from within. Two mind sets that would always consume one another full usually. Until now, we may use different tactic, but at our core we are dare I say… similar."
"Hm." Gilgamesh mused as, as much as he didn't to admit. Maleficent was correct in that regard in some ways of them being alike at their core. Though her little speech just now, brought up a question he'd been curious on about the woman ever since meeting her and watching when she works with her heartless "Speaking of our tactical minds. I must ask, but with you and you're heartless…"
"Hm?" Maleficent hummed, curious at what Gilgamesh was getting
"Well I wanted to know. But why do you send your heartless out like you have been against those girls?" Gilgamesh asked, curious at the tactics used so far by Maleficents Heartless as the woman had a knack for using her magic to record the battles between those girls and her heartless. If only to review those four girls' skills
Which made sense, but even with so many recordings of the battles so far, Maleficent seemed to be using the same tactics repeatedly from what Gilgamesh had watched. The question was, why. Though the small amused smile on Maleficents face seconds later answered a bit at her reasoning. Gilgamesh couldn't help but feel a bit excited to see what this woman's reasoning was.
"Simple dear King of Hero's. Complacency." Maleficent answered, as Gilgamesh was for just a moment a bit surprised at how simple the woman's answer was
"Complacency." Gilgamesh muttered, as Maleficent smirked a bit more as she might as well explain
"Yes, dear King of Hero's. You see think of it as this, for as longs as this little battle has been going on. I have ordered my heartless to attack the keyblade wielders and their allies in the same manner repeatedly. With one or two changes in only a few fights before going back to the normal tactics." Maleficent answered, as Gilgamesh found her plan interesting if not odd; but interesting. But Maleficent went on "You may wonder why I decided this. Simple, it's because over my time with the heartless. I've learned a thing or two about them. One, even though my heartless are tough when it comes to dealing with psychical damage there is a down side. Which is secondly, their own damage output aside from the older heartless. Is less then should be, maybe that's because of their more shadow like origins. I can't say but that is what I learned of the heartless I use."
"Ho, that's quiet an interesting bit of knowledge there. But if your heartless have such a glaring weakness. Why not use some of those Grimm's some of allies know of hm?" Gilgamesh asked, curious on what else Maleficents reasoning was. The witch was becoming quite a more interesting specimen then originally, he perceived her to be
"Oh, I plan to. Sooner then you may think. I've been just going through the Grimm's own weaknesses as well and found interesting information also." Maleficent explained as she cleared her throat before going on "Mainly that the Grimm have similar weaknesses to their heartless cousins. Well in way, you see where the heartless have durability yet weaker force behind their attacks. The Grimm have much stronger force behind their attacks, BUT because of their own more flesh like nature. Even with their bone armor. They are more easily killed by firearms and bladed weapons. Not saying the heartless aren't. But thanks to their shadow nature it's harder for them to be attacked like I said before. So, there is what I've learned."
"Well that is quiet the discovery. So, from what I'm understanding, you've been playing those so-called hero's the whole time. Only to now begin to start employing more… effective tactic against them. Did I get the general idea?" Gilgamesh exclaimed smirking as he'd forgotten but all about the chess game, finding Maleficents reason very intriguing
"Indeed, you have. Simple, yet effective. Lord only knows what will happen in the future." Maleficent quipped, as she'd forgotten all about the chess game by this point too. Letting out a quick chuckle before calming down, looking Gilgamesh square in the eyes as the King of Hero's smiled back just a bit as she smirked viciously "But whatever it is. It will be quiet… enjoyable."
Only silence now was between the two leaders, but even in the silence they smiled as one thing was true. Once Maleficent executed her second phase of attack. Things could turn out on either side favor and it would be one hell of a sight…
-Queen Of lights Tale #2 (Final): What she knows truly...-
It was another day. Another hour, another minuet. The Queen of Light sitting upon her throne as usual and Erie her right-hand woman standing next to her. Ready to give her any news that came through her viva link from her glasses to the data system of the castle. All in all, it was simply the same for them both.
Though today was to be different, as Erie this day had much more on her mind than usual. Most of it involving this whole conflict her Lady was involving herself into, the conflict that made her summon those Guardians of light and what her Lady was keeping secret. Yes, that last worry was something that really was bothering her.
In all this time she worked for her Lady, she never was lied to by her Lady; they trusted each other greatly. Which is why it hurt. Hurt so very bad that she could tell her Lady was keeping something from her. Something important that was because of this conflicted between the four Keyblade wielders and the forces of the heartless. In more basic terms, the battle between the light and darkness. That part would make sense if that was the only reason. But no, Erie noticed her Lady seemed to have a much deeper connection to this conflict. She needed answers.
"My Lady." Erie started off, as the Queen of Light looked to her as now. Erie could only imagine the cute curious gaze her Lady was making under her helmet
"Yes Erie. Is something wrong?" The Queen of light asked. Erie smiling at the kind tone her Lady always addressed her with
"I…" Erie tried to say. But she felt herself choke a little, worried that maybe it was because she feared this would make things tense between the two. But she swallowed that fear back down, knowing this was a better time than any for answer "I need to ask you something. Very important."
"Of course Erie dear. You know you can ask me anything." The Queen of Light rebutted as she knew Erie was nervous, but wanted to make sure her right hand woman didn't feel so scared to ask her a question "Now ask away Erie dear."
"Right…" Erie replied. Taking in a one, then two quick breaths before she gulped for a moment but knew it was now or never "My Lady… w-why are you so involved in a conflict such as this one?"
"Is that all, Erie you should know why. It's because it's a battle between the light and darkness silly girl." The Queen of Light happily answered. Though Erie felt for a moment to face palm at the fact she may have worded her question incorrectly
"I know that my Lady, I mean why are you so invested in this conflict aside from that." Erie asked yet again, making sure of the words she used to ask while she noticed just as she got done asking. Her Lady suddenly seemed to stiffen a bit looking away from her now "My L-"
"Drop it." The Queen of Light suddenly ordered, a sternness in her tone that Erie only had heard once or twice before and even now it was… unnerving
"My Lady?" Erie asked a bit shocked at the sudden tone shift. All the while the Queen of Light got up from her seat walking to the exit a little way's ahead. Erie following behind as a sudden hint of anger sparked in her "My Lady!"
"Erie please. Do not ask me that, it's better you don't know." The Queen of Light sternly argued, not looking back as she was now wishing the throne room wasn't so damn large "Just leave me be for the time being and never-"
"MY LADY!" Erie screamed this time, making the Queen of Light flinch for once as in the two years she had Erie with her the girl had never yelled at her in such a way. Looking back she saw an angry, if not emotionally hurt Erie who was keeping herself from crying
"Erie-" The Queen of Light tried to say to make this tenses go away, but was cut off quickly
"NO YOU LISTEN TO ME RIGHT NOW!" Erie screamed once more, as the Queen of Light for once did so as Erie composed herself a bit "I am you damn second in command, your right-hand woman. Maybe that doesn't mean as much to you as it does ME. I'm not just here to keep track of things you can't or give your reports. I'm here to also be a shoulder to lean on, an ally, a friend that will help you with whatever pain you're holding in. I can tell you're in an incredible amount of pain just by my mere question alone. So please. Please just trust me, all I want to do is help the woman that I see as a mother to me. So PLEASE!"
It was silent for a moment, so silent that only the sounds of the wind outside could be heard. Erie hoping that her Lady got the idea on how much she just wanted to help her out, in any way she could even if it means learning things that she shouldn't. She would do it in a heartbeat for her lady. It didn't take much longer, before Erie heard a small pained sigh coming from her Lady as she slumped her shoulders a bit.
"My Lady…" Erie muttered, watching as she saw her Lady straighten herself back up while suddenly the transparent roof the throne room had to have the wonderful light shine through. Was shrouded by a cloud halfway, Erie still shrouded in light, while her Lady now in the shadows with only her armor shining through the shadows
"Did you know… the man who rules the darkness with his cult. Is my twin brother?" The Queen of Light asked, in an uneasily calm tone as she could hear Erie gasp a bit at the news. The Queen of Light though couldn't help but chuckle a bit as she smacked her helmet a bit with her right hand "Of course you didn't. I shouldn't have asked that. No, now you do and are the only one that I've ever know who knows… yes oh yes."
"How…" Erie tried to ask. But the news just now shocked her to her very core, this was not something she'd ever believe if anyone else told her
"How is simple. A sad and pathetic tale if any." The Queen of Light answered, looking back at Erie finally as the Erie had to admit. The shadows from the cloud above made her Lady look… sinister "Like all other stories it started with a mother and father. Who loved each other dearly and from that love came two children. My brother first, then me a minute later. It was what you'd call a very happy childhood too. Though we were born with a purpose too, one that my parents learned of as we grew. What that was, was to be a balance for the new order of the universe and beyond itself after being saved by a valorous hero."
"Hero… who my Lady?" Erie asked in a hush as she was becoming quickly enthralled in this tale of her Lady's past
"A kind man who had no fancy title. He was simply known as the Keyblade wielder named… Sora." The Queen of Light happily answered. With a tone that was filled with a moment of joy and then a moment of sorrow "My brother and I heard so many story of his adventures from our parents. Heck, we even called him Uncle as they knew him years after his adventure days were over and I won't get into it all. But he earned all the good he had in his life by the time we'd been born. With a bit of help to bring him... oddly I can't the remember most of the others names. Aside from a few including his wife, our Aunt Kairi. Such a lovely woman, so kind as our uncle was so funny. Such good times."
"So… wait, this Sora was a Keyblade wielder and he saved the universe from the heartless. Then why are they still here then?" Erie asked, confused on the information her Lady was explaining to her just a bit
"…." The Queen of Light didn't say, seeming very hesitant to do so
"My Lady?" Erie said a bit worried she asked a bit too much of her Lady now
"That… that is the more tragic part of it all." The Queen of Light answered, sighing again as a lot of hidden pain could be heard just from her sigh alone "You see when I told you we were born for a purpose. I meant it as after Sora saved us all, our parents learned of our unique affinities when we we're around I think it was… seven; no eight years old. It turns out that we we're born with an affinity to light and darkness itself. We had a strong control of it and when that day of revelation occurred. The rest of our childhood up until we we're sixteen. Was spent honing these powers of ours. To act as a sort of defense so nothing like the heartless could ever happen again."
"I see… though I know you must have been a master at the light even at such an early age." Erie exclaimed, as this story at least made sense enough to her
"That's the thing. You see, it was my brother who was the light wielder. I was the one who hone the darkness." The Queen of Light exclaimed, as Erie gasped once more from that sudden fact and the Queen couldn't help but chuckled for a moment "I know right… what a world it is that I'm the Queen Of Light. To be honest though it was an… tasking endeavor with transition I will fully admit that."
"That is... something. B-But what does this have to do what you're trying to tell me?" Erie asked, as she really was trying to do what she could to understand what her lady was even going on about anymore
"All of it, you see my brother transition to becoming the bearer of darkness was… a choice neither I, our parents, uncle Sore, aunt Karia or anyone else we met through them had knowledge of until it was too late. It was big shock to us and… and… it changed him." The Queen of Light explained. Her tone with hint of sadness that she was trying to keep at bay "Once he finally came back from being declared missing after five years… I was the first to meet him again. I can't really remember what happened during that reunion though. All I do remember is that I woke up a good while after he… he…."
"He what my Lady?" Erie asked, carefully to not overstep any possible boundaries with her Lady
"After he killed them all… our parents, everyone one we knew. Aunt Kairi and Uncle Sora we're the last ones. I wasn't there, but when I did wake up. I found shards, with memories in them… his memories." The Queen of Light exclaimed, as she summoned into her hand a simple light blue shard as she eyed it "He took his time too with Aunt Kairi. Made Uncle Sora watch for a whole two days, kept healing her then starting over again… doing things that I'd never wish upon the worst of people. Before finally ending him. That wasn't the ends of his sin's though. His agents are part of his countless sins too."
"H-How?" Erie asked, as she already was having a hundred ideas on what this agent did and none of them were great
"The fact he kidnapped his agents when they were young, I know for a fact he never had that great of time with women so I doubt he ever had many relations or at least serious ones that would end with a child born. No like I said I KNOW he kidnapped those agents of him." The Queen of Light explained, as Erie felt sick a bit suddenly even if she was more curious then ever
"I guess… that would make sense then. Most of the agents we have on file all are various in ages last we checked. Though I do wonder if he ever did have an offspring." Erie mused as that alone was a harrowing possibility
"Don't honestly know. I will say though, he only ever had luck with one woman in his life that it could have gotten that far and he messed up that relationship. So I doubt it." The Queen of Light explained
"Who was it, someone we know maybe?" Erie asked as if so maybe they could get answers out of the woman that neither her or her Lady knew; get a one up on the Lord of Darkness
"….." The Queen of Light didn't say, looking at the floor for a moment. Which got Erie a bit concerned that she may have asked a bit too much
"M-My Lady are you okay?" Erie asked as a moment later the Queen of Light looked back at her
"No… No, no one of concern honest." The Queen of light answered as she chuckled for a moment to help ease the mood once more in the room
"Oh… I see then. Thank you for telling me either way." Erie replied, smiling back appreciating the trust she was giving her
"You welcome. Still…I hate to ruin the mood again. But, that is not the worst of it dear Erie. Not by a long shot." The Queen of Light answered, as Erie noticed this next part really seemed to bothered her. Meanwhile the Queen of Light took a deep breather, before looking Erie straight in the eyes "This isn't the first time that my brother has done this."
"E-Excuse me my Lady… what do you mean, not the first time?" Erie asked. A sudden chill down her spin from the implications of what her Lady alone just said
"I mean. This isn't the first version of our universe my brother has killed off." The Queen of Light reiterated sternly, even if she wasn't meaning to sound so stern in the first place
"Version…m… my Lady, you jest right… you… you can't be serious?" Erie questioned. Keeping in an internal panic wanting to burst out from doing so "There's just… just no way that can… be."
"Oh but it is my dear Erie. Earlier in our talk, you remember the part I told you about my uncle Sora. When I said he went through quite a bit before he got his happy ending?" The Queen of Light asked back, as Erie nodded "Good, well truth be told like I said I don't remember much when it came to the details. What I do though remember, is it did involve some kind of traveling of sorts. One with a price. One that would cause uncle to… go away for a while after he was done doing what he needed to. But what I'm getting at, is that why my uncle had to go away afterwards, was because that to the universe itself and the others helping him at the time. It was considered an a front to the natural order of the universe itself. Which considering what happened after my brother got done killing the original universe we hailed from. It restarted, a clean slate… a do over. But even after the rest occurred, there were key differences to the second version of our universe from what I learned."
"What differences?" Erie asked once more, as whatever she thought she knew felt like it was being torn to shreds before her very eyes
"For one, no Sora. Along with none his friends or anyone that played major and minor roles within the original version our universe. Along with Organizations and factions that were there before. All of them gone just like that. But oddly enough, the villains who were in the new version of our universe were mostly the same. Most of the worlds that were there before, were still the same too if not one or two added in. But the major difference, was that chosen keyblade wielder and their allies that accompanied them. Were different each time." The Queen of Light answered with a solemn tone
"E-Each time, wait so… this… this happened more than once then?" Erie suddenly asked yet again, wide eyed as now she was even more shocked hearing that universal restarted seemed have occurred more than once the she originally believed
"Yes, that is correct my dear Erie. The restart I told you before of, was the first of others that came after it. Our current universe version is number ten actually. Ten time my brother has caused the universe itself to restart after he decided to commit genocide on it. Why I can't say, why he doesn't do it when it when the keyblade wielders first show. Again I don't know. All I can guess is my brother seems to have made a game out of this. Like a child who tears off the limbs of bugs, just because they can and just because it's like a game to them." The Queen of Light answered. But feeling more guilty by the second of having to telling Erie all this. But they were too deep in this well of truths now and she knew Erie would want to know it all, but she kept quiet for the moment to let Erie to try to process all that had been told so far
"B-But…why, surely the keyblade wielders would stop have stopped him beforehand… could have stopped him. They're keyblade wielders for the lights sake. M-Maybe if we find a version of the old keyblade wielders before the girls. Maybe we can… I don't know…" Erie tried to suggest, but her mind was in too much of a jumble and it didn't help when she heard her Lady chuckle for a moment "My Lady?"
"I'm Sorry, but don't worry about it. I already know where the past version keyblade wielders and the allies then are at." The Queen of Light answered, conjuring up a small window of sorts to show Erie who they were
"… No." Erie muttered, as horror was building up in her now as she saw who they were
"Yes… sadly so." The Queen of Light answered. As what Erie saw, were images of every member of Traverse Town currently. Taking a few more moments, the Queen closed the window as she could only pity her poor little Erie "All those people are the past heroes of this sad tragic tale, a few more notable of them being the chosen keyblade wielders. The rest being the chosen's companions, but in the end all of them ended up dead by my brothers cold bare hands. Following along always, the end of their universe each time until now. Lucky number elven."
"That... can't be... " Erie tried to say, anything to help her deny this truth "My Lady it...it...:
"Deny all you want to dear Erie, it's all true. The whole time we've watched over that town with our spies. Haven't you ever wonder why there were so many people there. So many different personalities, that it would make things harder for everyone in the long run. Some who got along quick then others even if the shouldn't have. Why aside from an need to survive, they all seem to get work together well enough. Honestly it's just a sick joke really." The Queen of Light answered as she chuckled some more, bitterly if anything which only unnerved Erie more " You know what's even worse... those girls we have now. They weren't picked because they were special. No... they were picked because they were the bottle of the barrel."
"Bottom of the barrel?" Erie quipped as she didn't know why her Lady would say such a thing, Keyblade wielders were powerful warrior and she always believed that each one was picked for a special reason
"Yes. As in the last resort, plan Z... the weakest. Yeah. Those girls are the weakest of all the past Keyblade wielders. Their allies the same, all the weakest even if two of them at least are the same from the original timeline." The Queen of Light explained as she sighed "Without knowing, those four girls are allied with people who were better candidates then they were in every way. Yet… even they aren't special. They seem… different. This version of our universe is different from the rest… if I'm correct this version and what's been occurring. I think this is the last."
"The last?" Erie mused, even more worried at what entailed
"Yeah. Everything and everyone from the last ten versions are here now. All of them support for our four-little hero's. The same can be said of the villain's too, each one from all previous versions before the rest are here when they shouldn't be. Heck, even the girls uncommon summons were once part fully of the past times lines. Their worlds included too. Current and the last three unknowns. But in the end all this means, is no more rests. If the girls fail, it's all over for us. My brother wins, his faction wins, the villains finally win." The Queen of Light explained as she clenched her fists "It's funny. When I awoke from whatever my brother had done to me when we finally met once again, it was in THIS… this damn version of our universe. I always wondered if I could have made a difference if I had been able to wake up sooner. Maybe then I wouldn't have found some many fragments memories of my brothers past horrors. May be able to fix everything back to normal, bring back Uncle Sora, Aunt Kairi… the rest of them…"
"Maybe you-" Erie tried to say, to help her Lady's sudden guilt filled mind
"No." The Queen of Light quickly and sternly exclaimed. Erie flinched from the suddenness as the Queen sighed yet again. Lowering her head in defeat somewhat "It's too far gone now… the damage the rests have done. Have caused whatever could have been restored. To be good as gone and I hate that…. I hate it so much. But even I can't do anything to change what is. From the fact everyone I knew as child is truly forever dead and the only way they can even be remembered is by my slowly rotting memory alone, along with knowing that the permeant world order damage is finally setting in… along with the fact of knowing that everything now SHOULDN'T even be here in the first place. All because of my brother's actions… my own flesh and blood. It's crushed my heart knowing this, even now my heart breaks and breaks over again in sorrow. I just want it to stop… to end… I just want to rest. I j-just want my old brother back…"
"My… my lady?" Erie muttered; a bit more concerned with her Lady now as she seemed much different in this kind of mind set
"I'm sorry. I'm… just rambling." The Queen of Light answered as she rubbed her left arm with her right "All in all dear Erie. This is what I've summarized from this horrible truth. One, we are version eleven of ten pervious dead universes. Two, my brother is the cause of this. Three, none of this that we know and see now should even be here, all of it; itself an a front to the natural order or what's left of it. Four our little heroes are basically considered the weakest picks and five. By this point, our heroes from the girls to their allies are basically considered as… as just a bunch of loser, failures in the eyes of the universe itself. Who could blame the universe as a whole too, ten rests until now. Who wouldn't have lost faith in our heroes. WHO… I don't know anymore."
Though as the Queen of Light sighed yet again, Erie felt helpless by this point. Most of her moral crushed and her sense of what she knew torn away; along with it any kind of slight hope that maybe things would work out in the end. Especially since this was theorized to be the last restart if her Queen guess was correct. But the Queen seeing the silent dread on Erie's face, caused her guilt to rise even more. So the Queen felt the need to at least tell her dear Erie a hint of hope. Even if it was just an sliver of it, against a tidal wave of dread.
"Though… if I can say one last thing dear Erie." The Queen of Light stated, as Erie gazed once more upon her Lady
The clouds now moving away from above the woman. With the sun shining above, Erie saw once more her glistening Queen of Light. Who took of her helmet showing her lovely face, the one she said she hated so much for others to see. Smiling sweetly as Erie couldn't help but be enthralled by the sight
.
.
.
"Despite how those girls are the weakest of all their previous successors…"
.
.
.
"Despite the horror they will face, the evil that has won over and over again…"
.
.
.
"Despite their own twistedness and darkness trying to claw its way out of them. To break and mold them in their own image…"
.
.
.
"For once in all my years awakened in this current and final universe of ours. Even despite all the horrors I've seen and learned that my brother committed with from the memory shards he left in his genocides. I feel hope and you should too dear Erie."
.
.
.
"Because those four girls, even if they're not special like the others before them. They do have one thing, that beats them all."
.
.
.
"That my dear Erie. Is a pure, warm, loving light in their very hearts. Shinning so brightly now and will shine one day even brighter than my own.
.
.
.
"They come from a world that wants them dead at a constant, that tries to break what kindness they have in them. So they have every right to be cruel and bitter. Like many others who come from situation similar in own unique worlds. Yet they aren't, those girls have stayed kind and gentle souls through it all."
.
.
.
"Even now they have kindness still strong within their hearts. I truly believe that they are the girls who will finally end this horrible nightmare and even though those from the original universe can never come back again. They can at least be put to rest finally for the twistedness that destroyed the good they all did. So dear Erie remember this, no matter what happens in the end of this final journey."
.
.
.
"No matter how dark it gets, how much the shadow's cover and consumes all in its way. There will always be a flicker of light, even at it' smallest and feeblest. That light will keep on shining through the darkness and will never go out…"
And here we are. At the end of part one of the Tales mini-series. Anyways. First off as you all have read, yeah like I said. This was just a mix bag of different moments that went on during the Assassins Creed chapters. I did my best to make most of them light hearted, though I know one or two at least were a bit.. darkish. Speaking of….
Let's talk about that last Tale for the Queen of light. As you all read, yes. This exact universe is the eleventh and final restart of the original Kingdom Hearts universe. One formed after a dozen bad ends in previous versions of this universe. Also I did say in the fiction description that this was a kind of 'What if Sora never existed' sort of fic. That still holds true. BUT I never did say he never existed previously in this story's lore. So yeah, hurts me to have done what I did to Sora and the rest of the original KH cast. BUT, for story sakes I had to do it.
As you can also see, if any of you were wondering WHY I had so many characters in the first place. Which I'm gonna be honest I know was A LOT (Also the fact I have counted the total sum of characters being at max with the OC's in Traverse Town already there as 152 at max). But as you read in the last of tale. The reason I gave in that section is why and trust me I did have it mind when I started the story three years ago. I was just playing the long wait game before I found a good time to reveal it. So best now than any other time.
Also when it comes to Erie. I did realize that I DID say before her introduction just last chapter. I had all the characters were in. My bad, I tend to forget what I write down at times. Doesn't help with my rather unreliable memory. Mainly when it involves idea's I have, which also has screwed me in school a bit back in my younger days. Actually what makes it more well silly on my part, was that I actually had written up Erie's character for one of my last OC's that I have in this story. But somehow forgot her until she just came back to mind when I was writing up the last chapter. So a big oppies on my end. Sorry there. But since we're still on characters. I will clarity a few things for the future chapters to come.
For one, if any new characters are introduced. There are two factors that will be implied in them. First is that newly introduced characters, will be one's that are SUPPOSED to be part of a certain worlds story; one's that are cannon within said world. Then those are new characters only to those worlds (That though excludes the OC's I've already placed in those worlds shown in earlier chapters.) I mean you can't have some of these world stories go on without the cannon characters. I digress though.
Also I will only introduce two more sets of summons for the girls that I'd already planned on doing so no changing that. But I'm only doing so because I consider the summons. Well the non-kingdom heart cannon summons, not actual character-characters. What does that mean, simple. I consider the summons as temporary-characters. Meaning they have a part in the story. But aren't in it always, since you know they're summons and they only can be outside their gems for so long. The Traverse Town characters and other world characters (both KH cannon and non-KH cannon worlds) are what are considered character-characters in this story. Since, they will continually be part of the story; rather they be in in the background or part of the chapter's ahead one way or another. I hope this expiation makes sense to you all, because I tend to have a really hard time explaining thoroughly on what I'm trying to say. So I again do hope what I just explained makes enough sense.
Oh and the next chapter won't be a chapter-chapter. Just more of a final list of all the characters in the story. From the main one's like the girls, their allies, their summons (Along with updates to said last two sets of summons when I get to them), the enemies and all other world characters (Which also will be updated when the remaining worlds are introduced). Into a section of its own. Which means I'll be deleting the end note lists in the earlier chapters of a similar nature in the future. Just put something in those earlier chapter along the lines of 'Character listing on chapter [Insert name here], slight spoiler warning. See at your own discretion.' Or something along those lines. So look forward to that.
Quick note with the Merlin and Fairy God Mother/ Morgan Le Fay portions of this chapter. For those who don't know, they are fate stay night characters. One a servant, the other not one… yet. Which I hope one way or another she does get to be one. But anyways, just to clear up confusion. They and their Disney self's are one in the same. Just a small twist I wanted to put in there.
Also feel so bad to call my girls of RWBY the weakest. BUT again for the story itself, yeah that's how it is. Aside from that one good trait the Queen said they had that beats what their previous successors has. Still our girls are tough ones.
Anyways, I could say more. A LOT more, but I won't because I do not want to make this too long. All I will say is this. For all of you who have taken your time to keep on following this story, along with those who may have just found this story one way or another. Thank you all so much. Like for real, I mean it from the bottom of my heart. I know my story isn't the best out there for many reasons, but I graciously do appreciate you all for staying along for the ride. I'll do my absolute best to keep the chapters coming, get this story FINALLY done and just to keep you all entertained.
So to say one more time. If any of you have more questions on this chapter and the info released in it. PM and I'll answer as soon as I can. But until then, like I always say. I wish every last one of you good folks out there. To have the best, most happy filled and safe days ahead! : )
