Holy crap, hi again. I know, I know, I've been gone for a while. Sorry, my towns cases have gotten absolutely horrible and my hospital is getting hit worse than ever before. This chapter is kind of short, but I wanted to make sure you guys had something to look forward to ;)

Just a warning, there's a shit ton of angst and a whole lot of heart break in this chapter. Please don't hate me by the time you get to the end of it.

"Alright, mi amor's, do we want white chocolate or milk chocolate?"

The world had slowly darkened outside the kitchen window as Val stood next to Ally and Hector; the first on a chair in front of the counter. The gray and black surface was covered in all sorts of ingredients; flour, sugar, brown sugar, an egg carton with several broken shells, milk, butter, baking soda, measuring cups, and a dozen other things. Currently, a large bowl held a substantial amount of delicious smelling cookie batter, and the eldest Garcia child, clad in a long sleeve, dark green shirt and ripped skinny jeans was showing the two little one's how to measure their last ingredient.

"Milk chocolate, Tina, milk chocolate!" Hector cheered, and Ally nodded eagerly, already stuffing the small brown chunks into her mouth. Val tapped her shoulder warningly, taking the bag from her small hands.

"Milk chocolate it is, then." She agreed with a smile, dumping in a cup. After mixing it, she and the kids were rolling the dough into balls; by the end, however, there wasn't much left because of how much the siblings had eaten. They all had a weakness for cookie dough.

Once the cookies were done, they all sat in front of the TV with a plate full of the treats and several glasses of milk, going through a list of favorite Disney movies. By the end of Mulan, both kids were passed out, milk and cookie crumbs covering the area around their mouths. One at a time, she wiped their faces and tucked them into bed, turning on their lullabies from the stereo in the corner and making sure Freddie was curled up at the foot of Ally's bed before walking back into the living room.

It was the day after the ball, and her first day off in a while. She had taken the opportunity to do some activities with the little ones. A walk in the morning with Freddie, bacon and eggs for breakfast (their favorite), some Happy Meals for lunch, and some delicious spaghetti for dinner, followed by baking. It was one of the kid's favorite past times with her, but the three usually couldn't be trusted by themselves; they started eating the batter or dough before they could complete whatever project they were working on.

The blaring of her phone almost sounded like an alarm, and it might as well have been. Picking it up, Val groaned when she saw the caller ID, and flipped it open, bringing it to her ear with an eye roll.

"What, Damon?"

"Wow, touchy, aren't we? I take it the Original didn't get lucky after I left, huh?"

"Ok, I'm hanging up."

"Wait, wait! Look, all jokes aside, we have a serious problem. It involves the Mikaelson's."

His words stopped her movements dead in her tracks, and she paused, eyes narrowing.

"Please don't tell me they've killed someone."

"Well, no. In fact, kind of the opposite."

"So, a hunter and vampire walk into a bar…" Val teased quietly, causing the blonde beside her to giggle slightly as the two strutted towards the entrance to the Grill.

Inside were two of the Mikaelson brothers, both leaned up against the bar, drinks in hand, observing the people around them. It was clear to Val that the edge in the brother's eyes was dimmer, signaling they had already had a few too many drinks. Good. Tricking wasted men with bedroom eyes and some cleavage was always much easier than tricking sober ones.

"Be safe." She murmured to the blonde, voice barley even noticeable, but Caroline squeezed her hand reassuringly before strutting towards the pair, opening her jacket.

Diverting her path, Val walked up the steps to the pool table, seeing Meredith using a casual game of pool as a reason to face the scene and Rick on the phone, most likely with Damon. His eyes widened upon seeing her.

"Val? What-?"

"Keep quiet, we don't have a lot of time." She muttered, stepping closer to the pair and pretending to joke around. "Did Caroline lead Klaus away?"

The couple's eyes flickered behind her, then nodded.

"Good. Is Kol looking over here?"

Again, they watched behind her. "Yeah, he's definitely staring."

"Alright." Reaching up, she slowly began to undo the buttons on her coat. Then, with a little added seduction, she slid the coat down her arms, revealing a pretty tight-fitting, burgundy crop top. Shimmying her arms out, she purposefully turned her body towards the Original, revealing her bare torso, before walking over to place her coat on the rack. "And Damon's on his way with our present?"

"Say's he'll be here in less than five minutes."

"Go wait for him out back."

"Why?"

She smirked a little. "Cause I've got a plan."

It took exactly three minutes and twenty-one seconds of her bending over the table repeatedly to sink some balls before Kol was breathing down her neck. She knew because she counted. Of course, she was facing away from him, but she saw Meredith's eyes flicker behind her, then she straightened, sneering at the vampire and walking away.

"Well, now, I thought I was going to have to force her to leave." The Original's annoying, British accent broke through her fake concentration, and she ignored him, knocking the striped ball right into its pocket. Kol whistled lowly behind her.

"I like a determined woman." He complimented, and Val rolled her eyes as she straightened.

"I wonder how your brother would feel, knowing you're flirting with me." She taunted without turning to look at him, and he scoffed.

"Elijah always was a bit of a buzzkill; personally, darling, I don't know what you see in him."

"I don't see anything in him, or you, for that matter." She shot back, sinking another shot, and this time, Kol actually laughed out loud.

"Well, now that will break the poor bloke's heart. He's an old school romantic, but me…" As she stood again, he reached up to twist a lock of black hair around his finger. "I like a little challenge."

Her lips twisted into a snarl as she reached up to smack his hand away. He laughed again, this time stepping even closer. "Come now, darling, you should know playing hard to get always keeps me coming back."

As he spoke, the door behind her opened, and Rick's voice broke through. "Hey, Val, is this guy bothering you?"

"You should learn not to get involved in other people's business, mate." Kol's voice dropped slightly to a threatening tone, and she tilted her head back, slipping a hand against the small of her back and opening it.

"It's ok, Rick, I've got it handled." As she finished speaking, she felt a familiar, ornate handle press against her palm, and her fingers curled around it. Looking back into the youngest Original brother's eyes, she returned his smirk.

"You know," She whispered, stepping close enough to share the same air, his eyes going dark and flickering to her lips as she closed the gap, "You should really learn to take a hint…"

And then she slammed the dagger straight into his heart.

He grunted, face screwing up in pain as Rick and Meredith stepped in front of the scene, blocking them. His eyes raised to hers in fury and shock, and her smirk widened, leaning in to whisper in his ear as his skin greyed.

"…darling."

She nodded at Rick as the vampire completely lost consciousness.

"Help me, we need to get him out back, Damon and Stefan are waiting."

The door to the alleyway behind the Grill banged open as she and Alaric struggled to drag the Original vampire's body through.

"Here, grab him." Her hunting buddy grunted at the brother's, who stepped forward to help.

"Nice work, Val; looks like you have a talent for distracting Originals." Damon teased, and she rolled her eyes, opening her mouth to shoot back at him when a flash out of the corner of her eyes made her turn.

"Guys-!"

Too late.

Klaus rushed forward, ripping the dagger from his brother's chest and shoving both Rick and Val away. For a short second, she was airborne, and then her back met the concrete with a painful thud! Groaning, she shifted on the ground, wincing as the newly scraped skin on her back met the rocks beneath it. Fuck, maybe she should have put her coat back on before coming out here.

"I should have killed you months ago." Klaus snarled at Damon, and Val pushed past the ache in her back as she pulled herself to her feet, reaching up to slip a small stake out from where it was strapped to the back of her bra.

"Go ahead; it's not going to stop Esther from killing you." Damon sneered, and the hybrid's face darkened.

"What did you say about my mother?"

"Oh, you didn't know I was friends with your mummy?" The eldest Salvatore taunted. "Yeah, we have a lot in common. She hates you as much as I do."

Klaus's expression dropped into one of rage, and he started for Damon's throat right as Val started for him, but a familiar voice stopped them all.

"Leave him!"

The muscles in her neck tensed, and she tightened her grip on the stake as Elijah stepped into view, his own skin slowly fading back to normal.

"We still need him, Niklaus. We still need all of them."

"What did mother do?" Klaus demanded, looking towards his older brother. Elijah paused, looking unsure how to explain it, and Klaus's voice dropped to a furious whisper.

"What did she do, Elijah?"

Walking down the steps towards Val and Damon, now looking fully recovered, the older Original pulled out his phone. "You tell me where the witches are, or I'll have my sister kill Elena right now." He told the two, his eyes flickering towards Val. She glared back, and for just a second, in the red light, she saw an emotion flicker plain as day over his face.

Betrayal.

Damon looked up at the town's clock, looking angry. It had just passed eight-thirty. "You told me we had until after nine!"

Elijah shrugged. "I'm sure Rebekah would be more than happy to start her work early."

"They're bluffing." Val growled to Damon, keeping her eyes on the brother's, "They need her alive."

"Are we, love?" Klaus asked, spreading his arms out. "You sure you want to take that chance? I mean, didn't dear Jenna make you promise to keep her niece and nephew safe with her dying breath?"

His words hit her like a slap in the face; at first, they shocked her.

And then, they infuriated her.

With a small shout, she flung the stake forward with everything she had in her. Unsurprisingly, Klaus caught it. What was surprising was that he stumbled back slightly, eyes widening just a fraction as he stared down at the wooden assailant and then back up at her. Even Elijah and Kol, who was now standing, looked moderately surprised as well.

When had she gotten so strong?

"You know what? Let's add some extra incentive." Kol interjected, after recovering from his shock first, and both she and Damon looked at each other, faces dropping.

"What extra-?"

She didn't have time to finish her sentence before the wind rushed by her face and then she was pressed against Kol's back, his hand wrapped around her throat. They flashed forward again, this time standing in front of Damon, who was watching with wide eyes.

"Get off me, you fucking dick!" Val snarled angrily, but even she couldn't push past an Original. Elijah stepped forward.

"Even if you fail, and Elena dies, I hope you know that we will take several more with us. Including your best friend here." He nodded at the huntress, who glowered at him in utter hatred as he turned back to the Salvatore's, now standing side by side.

"And if I were you, I'd hurry."

By the time the trio and their very unwilling hostage had reached their destination, Val was mentally kicking herself for not bringing her gun. Sure, it wouldn't have killed them, but watching them bleed still would've made her feel a hell of a lot better.

"Cold there, darling?" Kol's voice broke through her thoughts. They were trekking up a hill, through the thick, Virginia forest, and the brothers were all clad in warm coats. Meanwhile, she was still in her rather thin crop top. Great for seducing enemies, not great for keeping her warm. The truth was, she was freezing. But she would rather bite off her own fingers, one by one, then tell them that.

"Nope." She bit back, and the youngest Mikaelson brother laughed, keeping his grip on her arm.

"Well, you are a spirited one. See, I won't be forgetting that little incident back there," he pulled her closer, lips right up to her ear as they walked. "Where you stabbed me through the heart and tried to kill me." His voice dropped to a growl. "Right after I woke up, too."

"Enough, Kol." Elijah spoke up, an irritated edge to his tone. "We need her alive and unharmed, or the Salvatore's may go back on their deal."

"Is that the reason?" His younger brother asked, adjusting his grip on Val's arm. "Or does it bother you for me to be holding the girl you fancy so close?" He suddenly yanked her in front of him, holding both of her arms. "Here, then."

Without warning, she was being shoved forward, and the uneven ground, mixed with the force of Kol's push, sent her stumbling. She probably would have face planted if Elijah's arm hadn't shot out and grabbed her, steadying her. The huntress turned, lips curling into a snarl as Kol and Klaus passed by, the latter smirking deviously at her as they walked ahead.

"Are you alright?" She turned back to Elijah at his voice, and rolled her eyes, yanking her arm from his grip.

"I'm fine. Would be a lot better if thousand-year-old vampires stopped manhandling me and kidnapping me for leverage, but yeah, I'm great."

The Original's face was like stone, and he looked ahead, shrugging. "And I suppose you want me to let you fall next time?"

"Failing is preferable to allowing those who helped you to hold their assistance over your head."

Finally, they crested the hill, and Val's eyes widened at the sight in front of her.

Esther and Finn stood, surrounded by salt and small torches lit aflame. Looking closer, she realized the salt had formed a pentagram, and the torches were stationed at the points of it. The huntress recognized it; Bonnie used a similar set up for her own spells.

Before they started towards the woman, the brother's turned, and Klaus stepped forward, smirking tightly.

"Nothing personal, love; we just need to make sure you don't run off."

The last thing she remembered was him lunging towards her, and then it went dark.

The world slowly came into focus, and the familiar, flaming pain in her neck was slowly subsiding. A moan pushed past her lips, and Val forced her eyelids open, seeing an unfamiliar ceiling.

A panic swept through her, making her heart jolt, and she shot up into sitting position, scrambling around her.

"Wait, wait, Val! It's ok!"

The familiar voice of Caroline broke through her fear, and she looked over towards the blonde, breathing slowing down.

"Caroline? What…" she trailed off, looking around. She was on an unfamiliar couch, in an unfamiliar house. "Where am I?"

"You're at my house." The blonde explained, and it was then Val noticed how tired she looked. Her eyes were red and puffy too, showing she'd been crying. "The Mikaelson's killed you; Stefan and Damon found your body when they went to stop them. I brought you, Bonnie, and her mother back here."

Val let out a sigh, slumping forward and allowing her head to fall into her hands. As she slowly came back into reality and the pain in her neck and spine began to subside, something occurred to her.

"Wait, Bonnie and her mom? Why? Are they ok?"

Caroline didn't answer, her lips parting to speak, but faltering. Panic crept into Val's chest, and she shifted. "Caroline, what happened?"

By the time Val had gotten to her floor, she was exhausted. Her neck was still aching, with faint, random pain up and down her spine. Her feet were so sore it actually hurt to walk, even carrying her heels in her hand. Her skin was prickling once she'd stepped out of the freezing weather and into the heat, and all she could think about was checking in on Ally and Hector before collapsing into her bed. Screw training tomorrow, she'd be lucky if she could make it to her shift.

She'd only just stepped out of the elevator and started for her door when she stopped, closing her eyes. Her lips pressed together in a thin line as her jaw clenched, and she slowly counted down from ten as she turned around.

"And just what the hell do you think you're doing here?"

Elijah pushed off from where he was leaning against the wall, brown eyes watching her like he was watching a rabid animal. Ready for her to attack. "I'm leaving Mystic Falls."

Val cocked an eyebrow, shaking her head. "And you came to say good-bye? What, kidnapping me and watching your brother snap my neck wasn't a good enough farewell, or you just really want to see if you can rip off my crucifix and finish the job?"

"I will not allow you to make me feel guilty-"

"Oh, I'm not trying to make you feel anything." She scoffed, shaking her head and turning to walk away. "You're not worth that much effort, Elijah. None of you are."

She'd only walked a few steps before a hand was on her shoulder, whipping her around. If Val was a slightly more self-preserving personality, she would have been afraid. Black veins were threatening to rise, she could see them moving just beneath the surface of his skin, and a shadow of red was passing over Elijah's eyes. "All those things I said at the ball, I meant. Everything I did to gain your attention and affection, it was sincere. And yet you turn on me the first chance you get-"

"Wait, wait, wait," Val cut him off, raising her hand as she narrowed her eyebrows, "are you kidding me? Is that what you think of me, Elijah? That you can tip me a couple of hundred dollar bills and compliment my dress at a ball, and suddenly I'll turn a blind eye to threatening the safety of the people I care about?" Her voice had started to rise, and she stopped, barley managing to get it under control before looking around and making sure no one had come to their door before turning back to him, voice dropping a few notes. "Is that the kind of girl you think I am?"

"No." He told her, shaking his head. "No, one of the things that attracted me to you was that you were the furthest thing from that kind of woman. But I thought I had found a kindred spirit, someone who valued protecting family as much as myself." He shook his head, chuckling mirthlessly, "I mistook you for someone with compassion." He scoffed and turned around, starting to walk away. "Clearly, I was wrong."

But Val was far from done; she had grabbed his arm, spinning him around with absolute fury burning in her eyes.

"How dare you. How dare you come here, acting all high and mighty, like I should weeping at your feet, begging for forgiveness just because I didn't drag myself over the fucking coals for your family." She stepped closer, amber eyes blazing. "You think that just because I have younger siblings as well, just because my mother also holds no love for me, that somehow you and I are the same? We are the same in only one regard, Elijah, and that is that I would burn the entire world to ash for my brother and sister. I would slaughter anyone that even dared to threaten their happiness or their safety, and guess what? Your brother, your family, you are the threat." She turned to stalk away, blood boiling.

"You hide behind this act, Valentina," Elijah angrily called out behind her, "this mask of indifference and apathy. But you hide the real you so poorly; I can see the scared child wearing the mask of a warrior, something she wants to be so desperately-"

"Don't you dare pretend to know me!" She whirled around, eyes blazing fire, hissing the words venomously. The heat in her veins was lighting her skin on fire, and all she could think about was how badly the vampire in front of her was pissing her off. How dare he? Coming to a place she used to call home, acting like it was wrong of her to do what was necessary for her survival, to keep a promise she made to a dying friend. Who the hell did he think he was?

"You don't know me, Elijah. And you can sit there, in your fancy suits, leaving big tips and saying sweet words and act charming, but the truth is, you're just as bad as Klaus and Kol, if not worse."

"Do not compare me to my brother's actions-"

"I mean, damn, at least they're willing to admit that they're bloodthirsty monsters, but you?" She laughed mockingly, shaking her head. "And you know what? You're worse because you sit there, acting like just because you keep your fucking promises and always wash the blood off your skin that it somehow makes you better. I have news for you, when I look into a vampires eyes, I can hear the screams of every victim, feel the pain of every bite, and I relive what it was like for them in their dying moments, so don't even try to act like you're somehow better. It doesn't work, not with me."

"You are truly delusional, Valentina, if you think holding your own suffering over my head will somehow excuse what you and your friends tried to do to me and my family." He growled at her, looking downright livid. "My brother may have committed some horrendous acts, but if you had been through-"

"Stop talking about everything your brother did like you're excusing the actions of a misbehaving child." She spat at him, the amount of venom in her voice enough to kill a man. "'He's lonely', 'he's scared', 'he's acting out because he doesn't feel loved'. Guess what? I don't care!" Her voice broke slightly, and she cursed at herself, shaking her head and willing the tears away. She looked back at him, the amount of hurt and anger in her eyes enough to actually silence him, even for just a moment.

"Jenna was my best friend. I watched her as she died, terrified and confused, all because your family is constantly dragging others into their messes. If you've come to me looking for empathy, I'm afraid you've come to the wrong place."

"Tina?"

The tiny voice shot through her fury like an arrow, piercing it and bruising it with terror. She whipped around, eyes widening to see Hector and Ally standing in the doorway to their apartment not too far away, watching her with concern.

"Tina, are you ok?"

She was running forward, hurriedly pushing them back into the safety of the apartment. Elijah was slowly walking forward, staring at the children. No, staring at Ally.

"I'm fine, baby, just go inside, ok? I'll be in soon." She reassured them, moving to shut the door. Ally stepped forward again, though.

"But my chest hurts! I need some medicine." She whimpered, and Val crouched down, putting her hands on either side of her sister's head and shielding her from the threat in the hallway.

"I'll get you some ibuprofen, ok, mi hija? Just go, go inside." She pushed them both back in and shut the door, turning around to see Elijah's face not quite as angry as before. In fact, he looked a bit confused.

"Who-"

"My brother and sister." She growled out, wanting nothing more than to get this vampire out of her building. "If you're as honorable as you say, you'll leave right now. They're children, and they've done nothing."

The shock was replaced with anger again, and he glared at her. "I don't hurt children."

A part of her wanted to believe him, but she didn't. She hardly ever believed anyone's word, trusted anyone with the safety of her brother and sister.

She only turned the knob again, and went to walk inside. She stopped once she was across the threshold and turned to see him watching her again.

"Goodbye, Elijah."

He was still watching as she shut the door behind her.

"Tina."

Val groaned, slowly coming out of her sleep to the little voice right by her head. She shifted, feeling two tiny knees poke into her side.

"Tina, I have an owie."

A sigh pushed past her lips, and she sat up, looking over her sister. Ally's pigtails were a little askew, and her eyelids were still a little heavy with sleep. But she could see pain twisting her sisters face, and she sat up, checking out her limbs and neck. But she couldn't see anything.

"Where, baby?"

Ally pointed to her chest, dead center, on her sternum. "Right here."

Val let her head fall, sitting up further. "Alex, I already gave you ibuprofen. I can't give you anymore until you eat some breakfast. It's just an ache, it will go away."

But Ally shook her head. "No, it's an owie. It hurts when you push on it."

Ok, no more sleeping in for me… Val thought, pushing her comforter off and standing up. She bent backwards, feeling her back crackle and pop several times before bending forward to touch the floor, relishing the stretch in her legs. Finally, she straightened and scooped up the little one, carrying her to the bathroom. "Come on, munchkin, let's get you ready for the day so we can give you more medicine, yeah?"

Setting Ally on the floor, she turned on the warm water, letting it run over her fingers before turning around to help her sister wiggle out of her Peppa Pig pajama's.

"Alright, so after your bath, what color are we wearing today-" Her words caught in her throat, dying as horror welled up in its place and her mouth dropped open.

A large, mean bruise was marring her baby sister's skin. It was right where she'd pointed to, directly over her sternum. Over her heart. And it was shaped so strangely; not a circular shape, like most bruises were when you accidentally hit something too hard. No, this was a line, like a slash, or a cut.

"Alejandra," Val whispered, looking back at her sister's face. Ally was standing there, still looking pained. "What- what happened? Did you run into something, baby? Did you fall?"

But the four-year-old shook her head, hair smacking her face. "No, I was just sleeping. I was having a dream, one about fire and a star. And then there were five monsters, with scary faces, and red eyes."

Val's heart sank further and further with every word her sister spoke. She'd been praying Ally's witch powers stayed dormant until they could get her to Bonnie and maybe start teaching her properly, but that wasn't what it sounded like anymore. They may have to speed things up.

"And one of the monsters had doggie ears and yellow eyes."

That sentence caught Val off guard, pulling her from her thoughts. She looked back at Ally. "Wait, doggie ears?"

Ally nodded. "Yeah, like those doggies with the blue eyes. The ones that stand up."

Wolf ears, the older girl mentally corrected, and something cold started in her chest. Wolf ears, yellow eyes…

That sounded just like Klaus Mikaelson.

"And then what happened?"

Ally pointed to her chest. "And then all the monsters screamed, and I woke up crying cause my chest started hurting. Hector tried to hold me, but it hurt so bad." Tears welled up in her doe brown eyes. "It hurt so bad, Tina. I wanted you to hug me and make it go away."

Guilt stabbed Val in the chest, right in her heart, and she pulled her sister into a hug, squeezing her. "I'm so sorry, baby. I'm so sorry I wasn't here. But hey," she pulled back, brushing the hair from Ally's eyes, "I'm here right now, ok? We're going to get you some food and medicine, and then I'm taking the day off work, ok? And then you, me, and Hector are going to take a little trip."

The scenery flew by as the small family drove along the highway, fields and trees whipping past them. Val sat in the driver's seat, troubled thoughts rushing through her head just as fast. In the backseat, Hector and Ally were in their car seats and obliviously happy, playing with some toys they'd brought along.

A ringing interrupted her anxious planning, and Val grabbed the phone to see a familiar name on the caller ID. She growled, then answered it. "What?"

"Yeesh, calm down, pipsqueak. I'm just calling to update you about Rick."

"I don't want you calling me, Damon." Val bit back, eyes flickering to the rear-view mirror to ensure the kids weren't listening. Nope, still playing. "That's why I've been avoiding you. How about you take a damn hint?"

"Ok, if this is about what happened with Abby-"

"That is exactly what this is about." Val snarled into the phone, grip tightening on the wheel. "Look, for a long time now, I've been your friend. I've stood by you, I've fought with you, I've let you be around my family. But that's over." She paused. "I'm taking Ally and Hector upstate. We're staying there for a while."

She heard Damon pause, then splutter. "Wait, but-but what about Rick?"

"I already called him. He understands. I have my family to think about right now, Damon, and that's who I'm putting first."

"But, we're the three musketeers-"

"No, we're not." She cut him off harshly. "I'm a hunter, and you and your brother are vampires. After we get back, I'm taking them back to San Antonio. I've already called Elena, and she agrees that it's for the best."

"No, Val, you can't leave, ok, I'm sorry-"

"See, that's the thing, Damon. You're not. You've never sorry. You never feel bad about your actions until it's coming back to affect you in a bad way. You don't care about how it affects anyone else except you. And I refuse to subject myself, or Ally or Hector to that anymore." She stopped, then sighed heavily. "Mystic Falls was never safe. It was selfish and stupid of me to bring them there. I need to get them out, I need to get out, while I still can."

"Val, I can help you protect them, Stefan and I both can-"

"And that's the last thing I was going to tell you." She cut him off darkly. "Bonnie told me all the details about what you did. You and Stefan do yourselves a favor, and avoid me at all costs. Because if I see either of you ever again, I'm putting a stake through your heart."

With that, she hung up and turned her phone off, tossing it into the passenger seat.

"Where are we going, Tina?"

She looked in her mirror to see Hector watching her while Ally looked like she was starting to dose off. Val smiled comfortingly.

"We're going to see some old friends who can help Alex, mi hijo. Her name is Bonnie."

"Are we going to see Caroline?" He asked excitedly, and she nodded.

"Yeah, buddy. We're going to see her, too."

Aaaaaaand Val has snapped.

Please don't be mad at her for her fight with Elijah, since she made threw some blows pretty below the belt. She's got her own character arch, y'know? And the Mikaelson's will be a big part of that.
