Song Inspiration: The Feels by Maren Morris
THIRTY-FOUR | THE FEELS
Ochaco ran her fingers through her hair. It had grown so long over the last six months. She used to keep it at shoulder length, but now it reached a couple of inches past that. Her face was clean of make-up, slightly rosy from the heat of her shower and blow dryer. She kept her towel wrapped tight around her body and walked out of the bathroom and across the hall to her bedroom.
Bakugo had left almost an hour ago. She wondered what it was going to be like, going on a date with the one and only Katsuki Bakugo. He was handsome, always had been really. Controlling his temper wasn't his strong suit when they were in high school, but she had the privilege of learning who he truly was. His passion for getting the job done and stopping villains was admirable. Ochaco smiled and shook her head, tiptoeing across her bedroom to the two boxes laying on the edge of the bed.
She removed the lids of the boxes and touched the velvet fabric of the little black dress. Form-fitting and falling to her mid thigh, Ochaco's face warmed at the thought of being in such a dress. Sure she had worn some sultry pieces before, but there was something about wearing something Bakugo had chosen for her. Beneath the dress was a caramel colored knit cardigan, super soft and cozy to the touch. She laid the two articles of clothing on the bed and turned to the other box.
A pair of clutch knee high boots were neatly placed in the box. She pulled them out, brushing her hands against the suede material. Three inch stiletto heels with laces up the back, Bakugo must have had a hell of a vision. Ochaco had to admit though, the clothes were perfect. She walked over to the small dresser across from the bed, pulling out her favorite matching lace undergarments—black lace, trimmed with pink details.
Ochaco dropped the towel to the floor and slipped on her panties then clipped on her bra, fixing the straps to rest comfortably on her shoulders. She looked into the round mirror, resting on the dress and tilted her head. Strands of her hair fell across her shoulder. Her imagination ran wild. What would happen between the two of them tonight? No matter what happened, she was prepared, having shaved her legs and put on her favorite lotion, making her skin silky smooth. The lace lingerie was just the cherry on top, plus it made her feel sexy.
She turned on her heels and walked over to the bed, grabbing the dress and pulling down the zipper. She stepped within it and zipped up the side zipper. Just as she expected, a perfect fit that hugged every curve in a flattering manner. Next the boots. Another perfect fit that gave her a few more inches in height. She slipped on the knit cardigan and pulled her hair out from under it.
Her heels clicked on the floor as she walked over to the round mirror on her dresser. All she needed now was a little mascara and a pop of lipstick. She opened the top drawer, pulling out her make-up bag. Putting on the finishing touches, Ochaco was done and ready for her date and the butterflies in her stomach had somehow changed into a damn zoo.
"Okay," Ochaco whispered, fixing her hair then backed away from the mirror. "Keep it together, floating around isn't cute."
The apartment was quiet, which was a bit odd. In her short time living with Bakugo, there was always some sort of noise, the tv, something sizzling in a pan, or the music from Bakugo's stereo system. Unless they were sleeping, something was always going on in the background.
Ochaco glanced at the clock on the wall, 6:56 PM. He'd be here soon and that had her heartbeat racing as if she'd just run a marathon. On some level, it was strange they were going on a date after everything that had been happening, but on the other hand they had to keep their sanity and have a personal life.
She entered the kitchen and grabbed a glass from the cupboard, wanting to drink a little water to help put her at ease. Really, she probably needed to take a shot of that Sake in the back of the refrigerator. As she sipped on her water, she wondered what a date like Bakugo would even be like? They'd spent a lot of time together lately, she had a good sense of who he was. And there were moments where he was genuinely sweet and thoughtful. A romantic Katsuki Bakugo, though? That was a foreign concept.
A tingling sensation brushed over her skin like tickles from a bottle of cheap champagne. A little laugh escaped her as she thought back to how he'd asked her to go out on a date with him. Wasn't much of him asking, but rather him telling her they were going out with a question mark tacked at the end of it. She'd be lying if she said she hadn't been wondering about it since he mentioned he'd take her on a date she would never forget.
A knock came to the door and Ochaco sucked in a deep breath. She gulped down the last bit of water in her glass and strode across the living room. Before reaching the door, she stopped at the small table where they put their keys and stared into the mirror. She fluffed up her hair and adjusted her bra.
Everything was great. Her hair had a windblown appearance in a sultry sort of way, her make-up was light and brought out her natural beauty, and the clothes, well clearly Bakugo had some good taste cause she looked like a bombshell. Ochaco went to the door and twisted the lock. When she opened the door, her heart jumped into her throat and her eyes widened.
"You look gorgeous," Bakugo said with a warm smile. He held out a bouquet of blush colored peonies tied together with a white silk ribbon. "These are for you."
Ochaco took the bouquet, bringing them to her nose to smell them. She closed her eyes and then looked back to Bakugo. "Thank you, these are lovely."
There was something sexy and maybe even a little dangerous the way he stood in the doorway. The way his leather jacket hung over his broad shoulders, the way his white t-shirt clung to her torso, and the way his ripped up jeans rested on his hips. Ochaco had seen Bakugo dressed up, in his gym wear, hero costume, lounging around the house wear, but this was different; it was a casual street style with a hint of debonair swag.
"Are you ready?" Bakugo asked, his eyes never leaving hers.
She held up a finger. "One second."
Venturing back into the apartment, Ochaco went into the kitchen and looked under the sink for a vase to put the flowers in. The likelihood of him having one was low, but when she opened the cabinet doors to her surprise there was a glass vase.
"When I moved in they had a bouquet of orchids," Bakugo said as Ochaco stared at the vase in amazement.
"Wow, this place is super fancy then," Ochaco chuckled. She filled the vase with water, untied the ribbon and placed the flowers within. She then tied the ribbon around the neck of the vase and put it on the round kitchen table. "Perfect."
"Come on, I don't want to be late." Bakugo held his hand out to her.
She smiled and placed her hand in his. "So where are we going?"
"Somewhere special," Bakugo replied, leading her toward the door.
"You said that you'd take me on a date I'd never forget."
"And I will," Bakugo assured her, pulling her closer and looping her arm through his. "Trust me."
Ochaco smiled at him then nodded. "Okay."
-xXx-
After a ten minute walk, Bakugo and Ochaco arrived at their destination. The thing about being a hero was that sooner or later everyone would know who you were. In Bakugo's case, a lot of people in Kyoto knew who he was. On some days, he couldn't walk to work without being stopped for an autograph or picture or whatever. He'd gotten used to it, but damn was it annoying sometimes. However, there was one really awesome perk and that was being able to get last minute reservations at some restaurants.
"Perch," Ochaco said as they approached the restaurant. It was simple and elegant, modern with a hint of natural charm. "Wait, I've heard of this place. It was rated two Michelin stars this year, I've wanted to come here since I moved to Kyoto, but the waiting list is like three months out."
Bakugo nodded. "I know the chef."
Ochaco's eyes widened. "How'd you meet?"
"Long story short saved his and his wife's life during a mudslide two years ago," Bakugo replied as they continued toward the glass doors of the restaurant. As they approached a man in a tailcoat held the door open and greeted them. "I made a call to Chef Higa."
"Ah, yes," the man in the tailcoat said with a smile. "Mr. Bakugo and Ms. Uraraka, welcome to Perch. Please, allow me to show you to your table, right this way."
They followed the man along the far side of the dining room. Perch was a multifloor establishment, small and intimate, definitely romantic and most of all delicious. Bakugo had come here once before, but for a party—well, a reception for Kamui Woods wedding. He had only just gotten to Kyoto and was forced to attend the wedding. Of course, he didn't stay too long, only had a couple of drinks, munched on some appetizers then slipped out the back.
Ochaco's eyes gleamed as she gazed at the dining room. The blown glass chandelier of sea-foam green and deep blues was hard to miss as it glimmered and sparkled in the middle of the room. They approached some stairs, climbing up four steps onto a platform. Some secluded booths were hidden into the alcoves where warm candlelight spilled through the thin silk sheets. Couples whispered secrets to one another, smiles and giggles, kisses and promiscuous touches within their private little world.
The man stopped at an elevator door and pulled the gates back. He stepped aside and gestured for the two of them to step inside. They entered and stood toward the back, leaning against the brass-colored banister. Ochaco still had her arm looped through Bakugo's and he'd be lying if he said he wasn't enjoying the warmth of her body against him.
"Chef Higa has an excellent table set-up for the two of you," the man said as he stepped into the elevator and closed the gate. He pulled the crank and the elevator lifted up to the second, then to the third floor and finally stopped on the fourth and final floor.
"I feel so special," Ochaco chuckled.
"That is our hope," the man replied as he opened the gate for them. "Right this way."
They walked out of the elevator and into a large corridor. To the right were a set of large wooden doors and to the left were fogged glass doors. The man led them toward the left and held the door open. When they walked through the threshold, Ochaco's mouth dropped and she stopped three steps into the room.
Bakugo admired her for a moment. Yes, the dining space was all glitz and glam. A complete galaxy of twinkling lights, candles, charming floral centerpieces, and a glass ceiling with a perfect view of the city and night sky above, but all of it dulled in comparison to the shine of Ochaco's smile. That was something he wanted to see everyday. He had become so accustomed to her laugh, the sparkle in her eye, and the cute way she'd sing terribly in the shower. It was endearing most of the time. She had breathed life into his somewhat gray world of work, work, and more work.
"Come on." Bakugo placed her hand on the small of Ochaco's back. "Let's head to our table."
Ochaco looked at him with stars in her eyes. "You told me that you would take me on a date I would never forget."
"Yes, and I still have the whole night of plans."
She giggled. "A whole night?"
"That's right."
"What happened to the disciplined guy who wanted to be in bed by a reasonable hour for work?"
"He met a girl," Bakugo whispered in her ear.
Ochaco pressed her lips together and peered up at him through her lashes. "Oh? Tell me about her."
"You're gonna have to get some Kyoto Sours in me first."
She chuckled and took hold of his hand. "I can do that."
They arrived at the round table, surrounded by the string lights and the glass dome allowing in the moonlight. Ochaco gazed skyward for a moment and shook her head before turning her attention to Bakugo.
"Your server will be with you shortly," the man said with a bow of his head. "I hope you enjoy your time here at Perch."
"Thank you," Ochaco said with a smile and brushed her hair behind her ear. "So what else do you have planned for the evening?"
Bakugo leaned back in his seat and smirked. "Wouldn't you like to know?"
"Yes," she replied. "That's why I'm asking."
"You'll see when the time comes."
"Okay, well tell me how long you've been planning all this?"
"A date with you?"
"Yeah."
"Hey! You can't be tight lipped about everything."
"I beg to differ," Bakugo retorted with a smile.
"Fine, be that way."
She was so damn cute. He had never really noticed her. At least not the way he had been now. He had always recognized her skills as a hero, believing she had a lot of guts and tenacity. But as he'd gotten to know her over the last several months, she became someone so much more than a colleague. Yes, he had feelings for her, genuine feelings. Not once had any other woman managed to capture his attention in such a way.
The truth was they fit together. He hated to say she was his other half, because he was definitely whole and happy with his life, but when Ochaco came into the picture everything changed. She made him laugh. She challenged him. And that took his breath away.
Their waiter came, they ordered some drinks and appetizers. They chatted for a bit, casual talk, reminiscing about their high school days, just trying to forget the heavy weight of the Daizen 7. The conversation was relaxed and pleasant, something Bakugo hadn't realized he'd been craving. Both of them finished their drinks and the appetizers were phenomenal.
Soon they were having their main course. Mr. Higa even came by to greet them both, talking about the food and how he'd gotten it from farmers out in the countryside. The freshness and rich flavors had melted in his mouth. Ochaco gushed about the meal, claiming it was one of the greatest things she'd ever eaten. Mr. Higa had been more than generous, offering them a table again in the near future. Both Ochaco and Bakugo agreed to take him up on the offer.
"This was amazing," Ochaco said after a few short moments of silence passed between them. "This whole thing, haven't ever experienced anything like it."
Bakugo nodded. "Well, we're just getting started."
Ochaco smiled. "What's next?"
Bakugo stood and walked toward her, holding his hand out to her. "Let me show you."
"Okay." She took his hand.
-xXx-
The chilly autumn air kissed Ochaco's face as Bakugo guided her down the sidewalk and toward a park entrance. After leaving Perch, they boarded a train and got off on the outer edge of northern Kyoto. It was the perfect night for walking and being in good company. They'd been holding hands almost all night.
In her heart, Ochaco knew exactly what she wanted and she had a gut feeling that Bakugo felt the same way. They weren't supposed to fall in love, they weren't supposed to be on a date, holding hands in the park, yet here they were. She soaked it all in. His scent, his warmth, his smile. All of it just had her floating on cloud nine. She had forgotten what it felt like to be all giddy with someone you had caught feelings for. And damn did he give her all the feels.
The chemistry between them was intoxicating and as corny as it sounded, Ochaco believed it was one of those meant to be things. She didn't know how to feel about that. Sure, she'd experienced the honeymoon phase before; holding hands, giggles, footsies, the tickling sensation that ran from your head to your heels, and sneaking glances at one another from across the room—yeah, she'd been there and done that. Not once did she ever think it would be Katsuki Bakugo making her feel all those things, but damn he had her like a lovesick puppy.
"Can we go in there right now? Isn't it closed?" Ochaco asked as they approached a gated section.
"It's fine, come on," Bakugo said and gently tugged her along.
"But it's locked."
"You can float us over."
Ochaco laughed. "What?"
"You heard me."
She blinked and shook her head. "Heroes trespassing?"
"It's only trespassing if you get caught."
She sputtered. "Okay, who are you and what have you done with Bakugo?"
"We're walking through a park, not robbing a store."
"Yeah, but it's closed. So we shouldn't be trespassing."
"Where's your sense of adventure, Cheeks?"
Ochaco placed a hand on her hip and narrowed her eyes at him. "I am adventurous! I climbed a mountain with you if you recall."
Bakugo chuckled. "Yes, I remember. And I remember you floated us up at the top. I'd like to feel that again."
Her cheeks heated. That moment on the mountain was the first time they shared such an intimate moment. It was at that time she realized that Bakugo was more than just her friend. There was something there that hadn't been there before.
Bakugo nodded toward the fence. "Come on, it'll be fine."
She bit her lip.
"Trust me." He stepped toward her and put his arm around her shoulders.
She peered up at him and sighed. "If we get arrested I'm singing like a canary."
He laughed and kissed her temple. "I'll take all the blame. Don't you worry."
They came to the gate. Sure enough it was truly locked and the sign posted on the stone pillar stated it opened at eight the next morning and closed at seven in the evenings every day of the week. Bakugo removed his arm from her shoulder and held his hand out, palm facing up. She took in a deep breath and slowly exhaled, pressing her finger pads against herself then against Bakugo's palm.
They held hands and lifted into the air, rising higher and higher until they were above the fence. With his free hand, Bakugo set off a small explosion and sent them across the fence. Ochaco glanced back at the fence and laughed. No turning back now, if they were getting into any trouble, they were in it. It was rather exciting.
Ochaco lowered them onto the ground and released her quirk. "Now what?"
Bakugo turned to her. "Well, I gotta be honest with you."
She raised an eyebrow.
He dug around in the pocket of his coat and plucked out a shiny silver key. "I had a key the whole time, I just wanted to see how easy it would be to make you a criminal."
Her mouth fell open.
"You broke pretty easily."
"Are you serious!" She playfully shoved him and laughed. "Unbelievable."
Bakugo stumbled back a step and laughed before putting the key back into his pocket. He tucked his hands into his pockets and stared at Ochaco. She huffed and crossed her arms, shaking her head like a mother who was disappointed in her own child. He leaned toward her, their noses just barely brushing. "I am pretty unbelievable, aren't I?"
Ochaco brushed her nose against his and spun around him. She took off running and Bakugo chased after her. Her heels didn't make it easy for her to get away and within a few strides, Bakugo's arm encircled her waist. A squeal escaped her as he lifted her from the ground and twirled her around.
After two rounds, he stopped and placed her on the ground. Ochaco laughed, her hands resting against his arm that remained wrapped around her. She leaned back against him and turned her face toward him, catching a whiff of his rich woody cologne. His hands moved across her body and rested on her hips. He leaned down, his breath tickled the top of her head. She took in a deep breath and turned around in his arms, resting her hands against his muscled chest.
"So dinner, trespassing, what's next?" Ochaco asked, looking up at him.
"Skydiving."
"And base jumping?"
"Of course," Bakugo said with a smile. "Then we'll do the cage of death."
"Followed by running from the bulls?"
"With some white water rafting."
"Then end it all with a polar bear dive."
"No," Bakugo whispered. He brushed his thumb across her cheek, leaning down. "We'll end it like this."
Ochaco pushed herself up on her toes, pressing her lips against his. A fire ignited in her bones like a star bursting to life in the middle of an empty sky. In that moment, she knew that this was what she wanted.
His hands gripped his hips tight, pulling her closer to him. He melted against her. His lips were soft and sweet; it was her favorite thing about him.
They pulled away and Bakugo kissed her forehead, allowing his lips to linger for a few seconds before pulling away. He took hold of her hand and laced his fingers through hers. "Come on, I got a surprise for you."
Her lips curled upward. "A surprise for me?"
They walked down the path, side by side, the gurgle of a nearby water garden filled the silence. It was a pleasant ambience, romantic and charming, something pulled straight out of a romantic novel or romcom movie. The park lights dotted the path ahead until they came to an unpaved trail that veered off into the bushes. Bakugo guided her through, holding a few branches aside as they came into a clearing.
"Here we are," Bakugo said, gesturing to the scene before her.
Seriously. It really was a moment from a movie or a chapter from a book. Ochaco sucked in a breath unsure of what to even say. Before her in the middle of the clearing was a snow white blanket topped with fluffy pillows and a couple of plaid fleece blankets. Two round wooden end tables were placed on either side of the makeshift bed, overflowing with candles and pretty vases with white lilies.
Ochaco placed a hand on her chest as she took in the scene before her. A white sheet was hung up in front of the bed space. String lights were strung up from the trees and criss crossed overhead. How in the world had Bakugo had the time to set something like this up? She shook her head and smiled, turning to look at him. It was so romantic and beautiful she almost couldn't believe it.
"This is amazing, Bakugo. How did you manage to set this all up?"
"I had help," he replied and guided her over to the pillows. "Make yourself comfortable, we're going to be watching a movie."
She slipped off her boots and stepped onto the soft cushy blankets and pillows. Despite the chill, the blankets were so warm and cozy. She laid back against one of the pillows and stretched out her legs, snuggling into the sheets. Who would have thought that the rough around the edges Katsuki Bakugo would have been so romantic? He was definitely living up to his promise of taking her on a date she would never forget.
Bakugo fiddled around with a laptop attached to a projector near the end of the blankets. He pressed a button atop the projector and it flickered onto the white sheet. Ochaco giggled, earning Bakugo's attention. "What're you laughing at?"
She shook her head. "I just can't believe you did all this. Be hornets, how long have you been planning this?"
Bakugo shrugged. "A while."
"Well don't be vague."
He rolled his eyes. "Okay, fine, I've been thinking about it since the first time we kissed."
Ochaco's heart fluttered. "I'm touched."
"Yeah, yeah," Bakugo said as he opened up a media player. "Don't get too mushy on me."
"So what are we watching?"
"Only the greatest cinematic masterpiece of all time."
She raised an eyebrow.
The classic Disney opening theme sounded from the speakers. Not what she was expecting. Honestly, she didn't peg Bakugo for the type to watch a Disney movie, especially a classic cartoon. The unmistakable Yeow-hoo-hoeeeee filled the silence and Ochaco's mouth dropped as the movie title A Goofy Movie appeared on the screen. She blinked and looked to Bakugo, who plopped down beside her and smirked. She wasn't sure what to think or say. Personally, she loved Disney and was a fan of all the classics, but it was so unexpected.
"The soundtrack should have won all the awards back in it's day."
Ochaco clasped her hands on her face. "This is a whole other side of you I had no idea existed."
"When I was a kid, I used to sing Stand Out all the time."
She laughed. "You did?"
"I did."
"Will you sing it for me?"
Bakugo pursed his lips and shrugged. "Maybe."
"Give me a little preview," Ochaco said grabbing hold of his arm and shaking it. "Please!"
His face flushed a bit and he shook his head. "I can't, it's too embarrassing."
"No, it's endearing! Come on! Like just a short snippet." She held her thumb and index finger up.
Bakugo pressed his lips together and let out a puff of air through his nose. He turned to face her and opened his mouth then quickly closed it.
Ochaco patted his bent knee and laid back, propping her cheek against her palm. "It's okay."
He cleared his throat and hummed the tune a bit then met her eyes and smiled. "You gotta believe I got what it takes, to stand out above the crowd even if I gotta shout out loud 'til mine is the only face you'll see, gonna stand out," he leaned closer to her. "'Til you notice me."
She swayed to his singing and clapped softly when he finished. "That was precious."
"Shut-up, Cheeks." Bakugo grabbed one of the pillows and hit her with it. She squealed and grabbed the pillow she was laying on, striking him as well. They exchanged a couple more blows, laughing all the while.
"Okay!" Ochaco squeaked. She held one hand out while the other clutched to her pillow, ready to swing if Bakugo didn't agree to her truce. "I genuinely enjoyed you serenading me. So truce."
Bakugo put his pillow down and nodded. "Truce."
"Good, now lay down and watch the movie with me," Ochaco said, leaning over to kiss his cheek.
-xXx-
The midnight hour was fast approaching, but for whatever reason the night still felt so young. Bakugo had pulled out all the stops for Ochaco and part of him wanted to do even more with her. The experience had pushed away everything else that was going on. It was only the two of them. Enjoying a candlelight dinner, walking through the park, cuddling under the stars to watch a childhood movie. Everything had gone so much better than he anticipated. Ochaco had such a shine about her that he never wanted to see fade away.
Toward the end of the movie, she jumped onto her feet and sang the ending song while doing the silly dance. She even forced Bakugo to do some of it with her. Well, force was a strong word, he did do it with her. They probably looked like totally morons, but for those short three minutes of singing and dancing, Bakugo really didn't give a fuck. He just wanted to have a good time with a woman who was very much stealing his heart.
They were walking back to his apartment. Although the past couple of weeks made it seem more like their apartment. That thought brought a smile and brief smile to his face. He snuck a glance at Ochaco. She held to his arm, head resting against his bicep. He turned his head toward her, smelling the sweet aroma of strawberries and peaches. When they got back, he had one final thing for her.
When they rounded the corner, Ochaco glanced up at him, flashing him a sleepy little smile. Bakugo pulled his arm free from her hold and draped it around her shoulders. "I had a good time, Cheeks."
She nodded. "I did too."
"For a little while, I forgot about everything else. It was nice."
Ochaco lifted her hand, interlocking her fingers with his. "I loved every minute of this night."
Bakugo's heart swelled. He stood a little straighter as they walked and gave her hand a gentle squeeze. This was it. This was being in love.
"Now, tell me for real," Ochaco said, eyeing Bakugo. "How did you get that cute little set-up at the park?"
Bakugo rolled his eyes. "Can't we just leave it at I'm an unbelievably amazing guy."
Ochaco licked her lips and nodded. "Okay, we'll leave it at that."
He pulled her toward him and pressed his lips against hers. She smiled against the kiss and wrapped her arms around his neck. They pulled away a few seconds later and Bakugo stroked the back of Ochaco's head. "Come on, I'm not quite done yet."
"There's more?"
"I told you, no other date will compare."
She chuckled. "Let's go then."
They continued down the sidewalk and rounded the corner to their apartment. Something in Bakugo was flickering for more than passionate kisses on the street. He wanted to do more than have his hands on her hips. His fingers wanted to do more than just lace with hers. In the past, he had felt desires to hold her hand and kiss her, but it had grown to something more now.
Before long they were inside the apartment building and climbing up the stairs. They walked down the hall, quietly, but it was comfortable. Bakugo reached into the pocket of his coat, feeling for the little wrapped up box and his keys. His heart raced in his chest as they neared his door.
Two more steps and they were standing before his door. Bakugo cleared his throat and turned to face Ochaco straight on. She brushed a strand of hair behind her ear and tilted her head in that cute little way she always did. He glanced at the door then down at the floor before meeting her warm brown eyes once again.
"Since we're living together, this isn't exactly how I would end things for the night," Bakugo said, pulling the little rectangular box from his pocket. It was wrapped all nice in glittery silver paper, tied up neatly with a pink ribbon. He smiled and held it out to her. "This is for you."
Ochaco's mouth fell open as she took the gift from him. "Bakugo, flowers, dinner, and now another gift. Thank you so much."
"Your welcome."
She looked at him for a moment, eyes sparkling before she turned her attention back to the gift and pulled the ribbon free. Next she ripped the paper off, revealing a simple white box undeather. When she removed the lid from the box, Ochaco gasped and pulled out a shimmering silver chain bearing a galaxy pendant in the shape of an orb. It was as if a small part of the universe had been trapped within the shiny ball.
"For the girl who loves to soar amongst the stars," Bakugo whispered.
Ochaco didn't utter a word, she simply stepped forward and kissed Bakugo. He kissed back, unleashing the ravenous hunger he had for her. She moaned as his hands squeezed her ass. He pulled her close and even still with her body pressed against his it wasn't close enough.
She dropped the ribbon and wrapping paper to the floor, followed by the box, but kept hold of the necklace. Then she pushed him over the edge, biting his lower lip. Bakugo growled and pushed her back against the door. His hands gripped the back of her thighs and in one swift motion he lifted from the ground.
Ochaco laughed lightly and locked her arms across his shoulders. He nipped at her neck, licking her soft skin. She arched her back, pushing her breast outward. He shoved the key into the door, twisting it whilst still leaving trails of wet kisses along her neck and chest. Her hands gripped his hair, pulling his head back.
Her lips crashed onto his, her tongue licked his lips. Bakugo moaned, twisting the door handle as their tongues went into a feverish dance. Her taste was sweet and savory. He planned to have his fill. She seemed just as hungry as he was, the way she fought for dominance in the kiss, the way she tugged his hair, the way her thighs squeezed his waist.
Bakugo stumbled into the foyer, but kept his hold of Ochaco. He managed to get them into the dimly lit living room. They broke from the kiss, panting for breath, foreheads pressed against one another. Ochaco's eyes were closed, but he could feel her heat and heart pounding in her chest. He gave her a gentle kiss on her chest, rolling his tongue against her flesh. She sucked in a breath and let her head fall back.
Kicking off his shoes, Bakugo carried her over to the couch. He sat down, allowing her to straddle him. Ochaco kissed him again, a chaste and sweet kiss before leaning back. Her hands caressed his face, the necklace he'd bought her still tangled in between her fingers. She had him lost under her spell and if it was always going to feel this way...he never wanted to be found.
"Bakugo," Ochaco breathed, her eyes never leaving his as she placed the necklace on the end table. "I don't want to stop." She stepped down and back away from him.
He studied her figure, never moving from his longing position on the couch.
"So, please don't stop." She shrugged her cardigan off. It fell into a heap on the floor around her feet. Bakugo glanced down at the fabric then back at Ochaco as she turned around and pulled her hair out of the way, revealing the zipper of her gown.
Bakugo stood. He grabbed the holder of the zipper, his breath danced against her neck. She let out a soft moan as he kissed her skin and pulled the zipper down. His hands rested on her shoulders and he pushed the dress aside, allowing it to fall to the floor.
She turned around and bit her lip as she looked at him.
"You're gorgeous," Bakugo said and lifted her up.
Ochako giggled. "Not so bad yourself, Mr. Bakugo."
He kissed her and carried her off to the bedroom.

"It's time we bring her and her friend back," Fujimori said as he poured himself a glass of red wine then another for Daichi. "Make a show of it too."
Daichi bowed his head. "Yes sir."
"Kill only teachers and any pros that arrive on the scene, not the students." Fujimori put the wine bottle down and pushed one of the glasses toward Daichi.
"Of course," Daichi replied as he took the wine glass. "Are you sure we're ready?"
Fujimori smirked and took a small sip of his wine. "Oh yes, we only need Amaya and that boy."
"Consider it done." Daichi drank his wine.
