RAW: 14/11/2005
Monday Night RAW was live from Minneapolis, Minnesota. RAW opens with RAW and SmackDown superstars on the stage and Vince at the front. Earlier this week, Eddie Guerrero passed away.
"Eddie Guerrero has passed away." Vince said sadly. "Eddie was in the prime of his life, 28 years old, and the prime of his career. So tonight, we celebrate the life of Eddie Guerrero." The camera showed Bladewolf rubbing his eyes sadly as a tear streamed down his face. "Eddie Guerrero loved this business, he loved it he had a passion for it like no one else. Eddie loved to perform more than anything else, whether he was booed or cheered he loved to perform for all of you. Eddie's goal every night was to steal the show. So tonight there's no doubt in everyone's mind that Eddie would want the show to go on and so it shall. So tonight, we pay tribute to the memory of Eddie Guerrero. At this point, I would ask you all to stand in silence as we toll the bell ten times after which there will be a special video presentation, so if you would all please stand, thank you."
The entire arena went silent as the bells started being tolled ten times, the camera getting shots of various superstars crying since they were best friends with Eddie Guerrero.
After the bell tolled ten times, there was a tribute video about Eddie and his career in WWE, his greatest moments such as winning the WWE Championship from Brock Lesnar at the 2004 No Way Out, and his personal life, his childhood, everything about Eddie was shown in tribute to a great man.
Once it was over, the fans started cheering and clapping. 'Thank you Eddie! Thank you Eddie! Thank you Eddie!'
"VIVA LA RAZA!" Vince yelled Eddie's catchphrase to cheers from the fans who continued chanting Eddie's name and thanking him for everything he had done for the WWE and it's fans.
The WWE Superstars then went backstage.
John Cena was up. He said that we'd hear from everyone tonight and that they'd all say Eddie Guererro was a great man. He said he was a very passionate man and that he helped him when Cena was new. He said he didn't teach him the moves, he taught him the heart and how to find it, good bad or indifferent. Cena sent his condolences to Eddie's family and friends. He said he loved Eddie.
In the arena, Kane's pyro goes off and Down with the Sickness plays afterwards as the duo of Bladewolf and Kane make their way out to the ring for their match against SmackDown's MNM.
"Bladewolf seemed affected by Eddie's death earlier." Joey said. "Of course, they had many great matches at Live shows and such, Eddie was what Bladewolf called a close friend and a respected man."
"Bladewolf respects Eddie and calls him friend, something which is hard considering who the Bladewolf is." Jerry nodded.
"But tonight, Bladewolf can pay tribute to Eddie by competing tonight and putting on a show, like Eddie would want." Joey said.
Bladewolf and Kane enter the ring and Kane raises his arms before throwing them down to do his pyro taunt. The Bladewolf's theme dies down and MNM's theme hits next and out comes the WWE Tag Team Champions with the beautiful Melina, making their way down to the ring.
Bladewolf and Kane watch them coldly as they get into the ring while Melina stays outside.
"Notice those cold glares on the faces of the World Tag Team Champions?" Joey asked.
"Yeah." Joey nodded.
Bladewolf stays in the ring as Kane gets onto the ring apron and Bladewolf starts off against Nitro.
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Nitro runs and goes for a dropkick but Bladewolf sidesteps and grabs Nitro before tossing him across the ring. Bladewolf walks over and stomps away on Nitro before nailing a hard right then an uppercut. Bladewolf grabs Nitro and hits a German Suplex across the ring before he tags in kane and the two brothers stomp on Nitro before Bladewolf gets out onto the ring apron as Kane hit a running clothesline on Nitro, a clothesline on Mercury, and then a sidewalk slam on Nitro.
Kane was eventually knocked over the top rope. While the Bladewolf took care of Mercury in the corner, Nitro attempted the cover on Kane but only got a two count.
Mercury was tagged in and hit an elbow off the second rope before tagging in Nitro and hitting a double boot to the face.
Nitro pummeled Kane on the ground before attempting to knock the Bladewolf off the apron but Bladewolf nailed Nitro with a hard right then enters the ring and grabs Nitro by the throat as Kane grabs Mercury. Both brothers lift them up...AND HIT DOUBLE CHOKESLAMS! Bladewolf and Kane were about to do the cutthroat taunt when Melina got onto the ring apron and started sensually swaying her body and running her hands all over, trying to distract the brothers with her sexy body.
Bladewolf walks over and just grabs her by the throat, lifts her up...AND CHOKESLAMS HER INTO THE RING! Bladewolf then heads to the top turnbuckle and stands up before he jumps off...AND HITS A FROG SPLASH ON NITRO! HE HOOKS THE LEGS! ONE! TWO! THREE! KANE AND BLADEWOLF WIN!
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Down with the Sickness plays as Bladewolf gets to his feet and flips his hair back. Him and Kane are given their titles and Bladewolf looks up at the ceiling before he pats his chest and points to the sky in tribute to Eddie Guerrero. He then goes to a knee and does the Undertaker salute as Kane stands behind him, raises his arms and throws them down to do his pyro motion and his theme plays.
The Brothers of Destruction leave the ring and head up the ramp to the back...
This episode of RAW was very emotional considering it was all about the tribute to Eddie Guerrero, I'm glad I was able to have Bladewolf and Eddie have a match in the series before this tragic death of a great wrestler. if I had Bladewolf remain on SmackDown, there maybe could've been more matches between them, but I had him go to RAW instead.
