Disclaimer: Disney/Pixar owns all the recognizable characters.
It wasn't always about the outward appearance.
Many of them didn't look strong, whether it be from breed standards or something else. But they definitely were. Physical, mental, and otherwise.
They were much, much stronger than what some gave them credit for. They could haul logs, pull trees, and work for hours on end doing all heavy work. Even Dynamite, who's breed was known more for speed and endurance than strength.
However, their true strength lies in their heads.
If they put their mind to it, they would do it. They would do it no matter what it took. All they had to do was set their mind to it, and they would sure as hell accomplish whatever it was.
Like that one time, Blackout and Avalanche pulled the 15,000 pound semi when they should only be able to pull 5,600 pounds together. Everyone in the immediate vicinity had lost their minds watching them.
They could do anything they wanted to. They could rule the world if they want to. They were driven to work, their drive huge and willpower level larger. They knew what they had to do and would do it right, sometimes by pure will and stubbornness alone.
They took risks. They were brave. They were heroes.
They ran towards flames, the heat and the ever present call of death that they played games and danced with on a day to day basis. They survived, worked, and thrived on that game, that dance with death. They played through sheer willpower alone.
All from the power they held inside them. That was just as present and strong, if not more so, than the power they presented on the outside.
Others should not be scared of the damage they could do from the outside. Rather, they should be scared of the dangers they bring and present when they set their mind to a task.
Because that task will be completed. No matter what it was.
They'd finish it.
