Kate really can't get enough of his kisses. Even now, they're just laying in bed, kissing each other as if there's nothing else in the world but them and their kisses. It's barely morning and when she woke up to his lazy kisses on her shoulders she didn't hesitate to chase his lips with hers only to have him following her when he pushed her body down into the mattress again. And since then that's exactly how they've been placed. Lips joined, hips joined, as their tongues continues the dance that none of them wanted to ever end.

"Mmm," Kate moans when he does that thing with his tongue that he sometimes does.

Since she already has her hand on his cheek she doesn't stop her thumb from stroking his ear in that way that she knows he likes. Getting a small groan in return has her smiling through their kisses. She could do this all morning. His body against hers. His lips chasing hers. She loves how they can cuddle like this without it having to go more frantic or heated. She loves it doesn't have to be more and she still feels so satisfied with the very little. One part of her is sure it's one of the signs that they are indeed soulmates. While the other, larger part, doesn't want to admit to believing in soulmates. What she does admit, though, is being deeply in love with him. She can't deny it so why try? Especially when she knows he's just as deeply in love with her.

Rick pulls away slightly to gently put a stray of hair behind her ear, taking advantage of the moment to caress her cheek with his thumb. She closes her eyes to enjoy his touch.

"You're so beautiful," he mumbles and she chuckles, looking up at him.

"You're not so bad yourself," she says and he smiles at her. "We should probably eat breakfast."

"We should," he agrees but leans down to chase her lips with his again.

The kiss shows absolutely no intention to break the cuddle session in order to get up, not from either of them. They were perfectly content where they were. Rick's belly rumbles and she laughs, breaks the kiss.

"Hungry?" she teases.

"Five more minutes," he growls before tugging her lower lip with his again.

She chuckles into the kiss, kissing him back with all of the love she feels for him embedded in her kiss. It's first when it's her belly's crying for food that they decide to go up. It's painful leaving the wonderful heaven they've created together, kissing in their bed, but being able to make breakfast together, stealing kisses while they work around in the kitchen, is both exhilarating and lovely. This is another part of their new partnership she could definitely get used to. Another part she couldn't get enough of. And she has a feeling she'll never get enough of it all. Of him.
