I do not own…
Pain was all she felt right now.
Extreme pain.
Kagome endured it as she was trying to give birth to her daughter. She rushed to the hospital by Shippo when her water broke. The pain lasted 24 hours but after one last push Hanan Mischa Hirgurashi was born. She came out bloody and screaming to get back into a warm place. The nurses cleaned her up before wrapping her in a warm blanket and handed her to the mother. Kagome couldn't help but cry in happiness at the sight of her baby girl.
"Oh Kami she's beautiful." Kagome smiled
Hanan stopped crying the moment she was in Kagomes' arms. She looked up at her mother and Kagome saw that she had her fathers' eyes. That didn't change how she felt towards her little girl, she will always love her.
After a while Kagome was cleaned up and resting with Hanan sleeping in her hospital bed. Leo was in the room as he was sleeping on one of the chairs. Unable to stay awake either, Kagome started drifting to sleep too.
The door silently opened and a man quietly walked in the room. The man walked over towards Kagome and he just stared at her for a moment before a little cooing took his attention away. He saw Hanna awake so he walked over towards the infant. Amber maroon eyes looking at amber maroon eyes. The man traced his finger down her cheek before picking her up. After sensing a familiar dark soul Kagome quickly woke up and gasped at the man in front of her.
"Hello Kagome. She is beautiful." Hannibal said
He was covered in blood and had a scalpel in one hand.
"Time to go home." Hannibal said with a dark smile.
.
.
Kagome woke up with a gasp and quickly hurried to the joined room. The room is the nursery for Hanan and when Kagome entered inside she checked the room making sure Hannibal wasn't here. Once she was sure she looked inside the crib and smiled as she saw her daughter sleeping slightlently. She sighed as she sat down on the rocking chair. Ever since Hanan's birth she has been having nightmares of Hannibal coming for them. It has been a year now but she always worried that he'll find them one day. The door opened again and Kagome saw that it was Leo with Remy behind him. Seven year old Leo rubbed his eyes as he walked over his mom with a paper in his other hand. Kagome gave him a sad smile as she picked him up so he could sit on her lap. Remy let out a cute yawn before laying down next to the crib and tried to go back to sleep.
"You dreamed about him again too." Leo said
"You were too, sweety?" Kagome asked
Leo nodded and handed her the drawing that he drew. Kagome looked at it and realized that it was a city with the Italian flag on it.
"He's somewhere in Italy dear?" She asked
Leo just nodded before drifting back to sleep. Kagome mentally sighed in relief that he wasn't near them. Later she helped place her son back into his bed with Remy slowly followed as he didn't want to get up again. After checking Hanan one last time Kagome went back to her room as she looked at the drawing. They were still safe as they've been in Thailand for the last few months. Sesshomaru always moved them around when they sniffed Hannibal nearby.
She was tired of being afraid and wanted this to end. So with that in mind she placed the drawing in a yellow envelope and called for Takak. He is one her many bodyguards and is one of the fastest demons she knows to take this where she wants to be. She knew that Will was hunting for Hannibal now she would give him another clue.

Will got the letter the next morning and opened when he knew it was from Kagome. When it had no address he wasn't sure if it could be from Hannibal or Kagome. The only way he could tell is when it had a crescent moon sketched on it. When he saw it he knew it was from her. Every now and then she and Leo would write letters to him and send pictures of how they were. He even saw pictures of Hanan. She was a beautiful baby and he saw that she looked just like Kagome but saw that she had her father's eyes. Just like Kagome, he didn't care about that. She was a happy baby and was far away from Hannibal's guidance.
Once he opened up the envelope he saw that it was one of Leo drawings. He was amazed as his talent had gotten even better as it showed a lot of detail. He saw that it was a city with a flag on it. On the back of it was Kagome's writing saying two words.
'He's here'.
He quickly went over to his laptop and checked out to see what flag and city this was. It didn't take long because once he found out Will quickly backed his stuff and headed to his boat.
On his journey he made a few little stops. One of them happened to be at Hannibal's childhood home. The Lector mansion was being looked after by the maid name Chiyoh. Will found out that she had kept the man that killed Mischa (Hannibal's little sister) alive as she didn't believe in Hannibal's way. To free her from this prison he let the prisoner out and she ended up killing the man. Sadly when they were on the train to Italy she ended up shoving him off the train. Showing him that she was always on Hannibals' side.

For the half a year Hannibal has been living in Paris before heading to Florence, Italy the next half. With him on the run with him was his own psychiatrist Dr. Bedelia Du Maurier. When they were in Paris Hannibal decided to take the identity of Dr. Roman Fell so he could take his new job in Florence. Bedelia had taken the identity of Mrs. Fell but Hannibal would have rather had Kagome take that place but he still couldn't find her or his daughter. He nearly lost control of himself when he found Kagomes' engagement ring in his room. This was pretty much telling him that she was never coming back to him. He was never going to see his daughter or the love of his life. Boy, did he want to kill everyone on the city block when he found it.
So far in Florence he had made a nice life but it wasn't long till he was back to his old ways. He had killed an old assistant of the real Roman Fell and stabbed Professor Soliato in the head but it was Bedelia that ended up killing him as she pulled the icepick out. Bedelia wasn't sure how long she could continue on like this as she knew he would eat her soon. Hannibal knew this too but still held a leash over her and kept her with him. He may not have feelings for her but he didn't want to be alone. On some days he had imagined Kagome in her place, just to feel her presents again. He was angry at her for leaving him and keeping their daughter away from him but he still loved her.
Maybe this is why he was going back to his old ways. He was trying to draw them out. All of them: Will, Jack, Alana and the others he had wrong. Hopefully, maybe, she would too.
A few days later he had come in contact with an old cop from his past, Inspector Rinaldo Pazzi. He was doing the investigation of his first kill and of Professor Soliato as Hannibal was the last one to see them. The Inspector had nothing on him so he couldn't arrest him.
"Commendatore Pazzi?" Hannibal asked
"Yes?" Rinaldo said
"I think you are a Pazzi of the Pazzi, am I correct?" Hannibal stated
"How did you know that?" Rinaldo asked
"You resemble a figure at the Della Robbia roundels in your family's chapel at Santa Croce." Hannibal explained
"Yeah. Yeah." Rinaldo said "That was Andrea de Pazzi depicted as John the Baptist."
"Then there's the most famous Pazzi of all: Francesco. He attempted to assassinate Lorenzo the Magnificent in the cathedral, at Mass, in 1478." Hannibal stated
"Yeah." Rinaldo nodded "The Pazzi family were all brought low on that Sunday." Then he walked over to Hannibal. "If you come upon anything, Dr. Fell, anything personal from the missing men, will you call me?"
"Of course, Commendatore." Hannibal nodded
With that said Rinaldo left the museum but not before taking a pamphlet. Hannibal knew he was gonna have to kill him later. The next night Rinaldo Pazzi returned to the museum so he could talk to Hannibal. He had a box with him as he wanted to show Dr. Fell something.
"Buonasera, Commendatore." Hannibal said
"Buonasera, Dottore Fell." Rinaldo greeted
"Back so soon." Hannibal smiled
He was cutting a pear with a knife as he walked towards Rinaldo.
"Given the nature of your exhibition and the content of our last conversation, I brought something I thought you might like to see." Rinaldo said and placed the box on the table to open it up. He took out an iron mask. "It was supposedly worn by Francesco de Pazzi when he met his end. My family guilt cast in iron."
"A scold's bridle." Hannibal replied as he looked at it. "May I?"
"Of course." Rinaldo nodded.
Hannibal placed some gloves on so he held it up.
"A wonderful heirloom." Hannibal muttered "I'm so glad you stopped by, Commendatore Pazzi, as I...have a family heirloom for you."
"Yeah?" Rinaldo asked
Hannibal placed the iron mask down to get what he had found. Rinaldo tried to take the pocket-knife that had his finger print but Hannibal returned fast. He had an old craving that had someone being hanged.
"Beneath the figure is written a name." Hannibal said "Can you make it out?"
"It says, "Pazzi."" Rinaldo said in shock.
"This is your ancestor, Francesco, hanging outside of Palazzo." Hannibal smiled "This particular illustration is bowels out. I've seen other bowels in. By all accounts, Franesco was led astray by thirty pieces of silver from the hand of the Papal banker. It's hard to see, but here's where the archbishop bit him. Eyes wild as he choked, the archbishop locked his teeth in Pazzi's flesh. On a related subject, I must confess, I've been giving very serious thought to doing the same."
While he had his back turned Rinaldo made a move to grab the knife to collect it but Hannibal grabbed him from behind and knocked him out with chloroform. After a few hours Rinaldo started to wake up from Hannibal.
"Can you hear me, Signor Pazzi? Take a deep breath while you can. Clear your head."
When he was fully awake he found himself strapped to a dolly cart and Hannibal was pushing him towards a window.
"I haven't had a bite all day. Actually, your liver and kidneys would be suitable for dinner right away...Tonight, even, but the rest of the meat should hang at least a week in the current cool conditions." Hannibal said as he started making a noose with some cords. "I didn't see the forecast, did you? I gather that means "no." If you tell me what I need to know, commendatore, it would be convenient for me to leave without my meal. I will ask you the questions and then we'll see. You can trust me, you know, though I expect that you find trust difficult, knowing yourself. When the police didn't come, it was clear that you had sold me. Was it Mason Verger you sold me to?"
Rinaldo nodded as he had his mouth duct taped.
"Thank you. I called the number on his "wanted": site once, far from here, just for fun." Hannibal said and placed the noose around the cops neck. "Have you told anyone at the Questura about me?"
Rinaldo shook his head.
"Was that a no?" Hannibal asked
Suddenly Rinaldo's phone started to ring and Hannibal went to answer. He nearly smirked when he heard Alana's voice.
"Inspector Pazzi. My name is Alana Bloom. You don't know me, but I know your benefactor…" She said
"Hello, Alana." Hannibal greeted "I'm afraid the inspector is otherwise occupied."
"Is he dead?" She asked
"There is nothing I would love more than to be able to chat with you, Alana, but you caught me at a rather awkward moment. Nice to hear your voice." He said before hanging up. Then he placed the phone back in Rinaldo's inner pocket jacket before tightening the straps. "So, commendatore, which do you think? Bowels in or bowels out?" Then he took out his pocket-knife. "Out, I think."
Hannibal then stabs him in the stomach and slices him down before he pushed Rinaldo out to let him hang. When he was hanged his bowels fell right out and that's when Jack showed up. The two men saw each other and Jack quickly went inside. Hannibal wasn't worried as he waited for him. The two continued the fight that they started a year ago. Sadly like before Hannibal got away.
.
.
.
The next morning Will arrived and met up with Jack. Neither of them were surprised to see one another.
"He's wounded and he's worried." Jack said
"No, Hannibal doesn't worry. Knowing he's in danger won't rattle him any more than killing does." Will stated
"If Rinaldo Pazzi had decided to do his job as an officer of the law, he would have determined very quickly that he was Hannibal Lecter." Jack replied "Would have taken less than 30 minutes to get a warrant."
"All those resources were denied to Pazzi. As soon as he decided to sell Hannibal, he became a bounty hunter." Will said
"Outside the law and alone." Jack said "Well, here we are: outside the law and alone."
"Have you told la polizia they're looking for Hannibal Lecter?" Will asked
"They're motivated to find Dr. Fell inside the law." Jack said "Knowing who he is, what he's worth, it will just coax them out of bounds."
"That'd be a free-for all." Will replied
"And Hannibal will slip away." Jack argued "You know he's still looking for Kagome."
"Well he won't be able to. Sesshomaru is making damn sure no one knows where she and kids are." Will glared before taking a deep breath and calmed himself down. "Beside why do you think I'm here?" He held out Leo's drawing. "I have my own little resource on where to find Hannibal."
Jack couldn't believe the art work and how strong Leo's ability has gotten.
"Imagine his talent helping with the FBI." Jack said
Will chuckled with a scoff.
"I don't think Kagome would ever let that happen." He said before folding the picture and placing it in his pocket.
"I got to ask, Will. Will you slip away with him?" Jack asked
"Maybe back then but not anymore. Before Kagome left she cleansed my mind of him." Will said "I want to return the favor and free her from him."
"After all this time...you're still in love with her?" Jack asked
"Always." Will said
"How do you know she doesn't still love him?" Jack asked "Or will return to him."
"She wrote to me...saying she sent back the engagement ring. And she is still in hiding." Will replied "If she wanted to go back to him she would have already." He turned around and looked at stuff that was in the museum. "No, of course, you found him here, not because of the exhibit, but because of the crowd it attracts. You had him, Jack. He was beaten. Why didn't you kill him?"
"Maybe I need you to." Jack sighed
They had searched Dr. Fell's home and only found a drugged up Bedelia. Seeing that they weren't getting anything from her, Will left to hunt Hannibal down by himself. In the end Will did find Hannibal but before he could kill him, Chiyoh shot him. Hannibal ended up taking him to another apartment to treat Will's wound. As he was doing so he found Leo's drawing in his pocket. He inhaled the scent that still linger on it and smelled both Kagomes' and Leos' on it. There were a few other scents that helped him figure out where they were. So knowing that Will was still keeping contact with Kagome he searched his wallet and phone to see if he had pictures of them. In the wallet he found a small photo of all three of them at the beach. Hannibal's heart nearly stopped when he finally saw what his daughter looked like. Leo had gotten a little taller and his hair grew out. Kagome on the other hand was just as beautiful as ever but she seemed to have cut her hair short. After caressing their faces with his finger he placed a kiss on the photo before placing it in his pocket. He wanted to keep Will alive but now after seeing that he was still keeping contact with Kagome, his jealous side kicked in. He wasn't going to lose his love and children to Will. When Will woke up he found himself drugged up and tied to a chair.
"I can almost taste the butter." Will said
"Taste and smell are the oldest senses and the closest to the center of the mind." Hannibal replied
"Parts that precede pity and morality." Will said
"Then play in the dome of our skulls, like miracles illuminated on a church ceiling." Hannibal stated "the ceremonies and sights and exchanges of dinner can be far more engaging than theater."
"What's for dinner?" Will asked
"Never ask." Hannibal smirked "Spoils the surprise. I don't indulge much in regret, but...I am sorry to be leaving Italy. There were things in the Palazzo Capponi I would have liked to read, especially to my daughter and Leo." After pouring soup in Will's bowl and he took out the photo he took. "What's her name?"
"Hanan." Will muttered
"Hanan." Hannibal smiled at the photo before tucking it away in his pocket. "Thank you for the photo of them."
Will cursed himself for bringing it with him.
"And thank you for showing me where they are." Hannibal said
"I didn't. I don't even know where they are." Will replied
Hannibal mentally chuckled as he knew Will wouldn't understand how he found out.
"I would have liked to play the clavier to Hanan or perhaps compose." He said as he helped feed Will the soup. "I would have like to show Kagome Florence, Will."
"Soup isn't very good." Will glared
"It's a parsley and thyme infusion, and more for my sake than yours. Have another sip." Hannibal offered and helped him again. "Let this circulate."
"Are we expecting company?" Will asked as he noticed the other setting at the end of the table.
Hannibal said nothing as he hid and Jack came in. Will realized that this was Jack's place. Jack quickly took out his gun once he saw Will tied up and looked out for Hannibal.
"Will." Jack whispered
"He is under the table, Jack." Will muttered
Before Jack could react Hannibal sliced at his leg. When he knocked him out Hannibal tied him up as well.
"I've taken the liberty of giving you something to help you relax." He said "Won't be able to do much more than chew, but that's all you'll need to do. I didn't have an opportunity to ask you during our last encounter, but did you enjoy the exhibition? A different kind of evil minds museum."
"Not that different." Jack said "We were supposed to sit down together at your house in Baltimore, just the three of us."
"You were to be the guest of honour." Hannibal commented
"But the menu was all wrong." Will replied
"Yes, it was." Hannibal smirked and grabbed a box. "Jack was the first to suggest getting inside your head." Then he took out a bone-saw cutter. "Now, we both have the opportunity to chew quite literally what we've only chewed figuratively."
He turned on bone-saw and stalked towards Will. Jack pleaded with him to stop him but Hannibal didn't and started cutting through Will's head.
Luckily he was saved from death by Mason's men as they came in and captured them. They knocked them out, stopped the bleeding and transported them back to America. When the meat truck opened, Mason rolled right in with his men.
"Gentlemen, welcome to Muskrat Farm."
