Hey everyone!
Welcome to level 10 of Jumanji... and yes I have decided to stick with that for the rest of the year before you ask. I had a lovely week away (and birthday) and now I feel creative again and I am hoping to write well again. October is the month when I want to get some good habits going and make the most of these last months of 2020 better than what has just been. Enjoy the update.
Stay safe.
Lots of love,

Breaking Traditions-Part 30:
Druella was now firmly walking around with her tail between her legs. Priscilla knowing who her parents were had been a reminder of some of what she'd managed to escape before she'd wormed her way into the Black family and married Cygnus. She knew she didn't have the upper hand now and her defeat was humiliating. She'd heard of Priscilla's reputation but hadn't expected to be at the receiving end of it at all. Cygnus was being unsympathetic as well and said that it was one step too far but inwardly he was rather pleased to hear that something had happened. It had been only a matter of time before something happened between the two matriarchs.
Priscilla, meanwhile, wasn't even thinking about the success that she'd had defeating Druella. She was too busy making sure that whatever spell Narcissa had been hit with wasn't going to lead to any damage or, in the worst case, long term damage. That was the last thing Narcissa needed, in fact the last thing she and Lucius needed. They were so close to getting a daughter now and the fact that Lucius wanted it now meant more to her than anything.
"Last dose Cissa," Priscilla said as she held a goblet up to her daughter-in-law.
"Priscilla I'm fine. I don't need any more," Narcissa said before she sighed and drank the rest of the potion and then went over to the window and sighed as she looked out over the vast Gardens surrounding the Manor.
"Narcissa I do not believe that you are fine for one second," Priscilla said, "not after everything that has happened since the adoption process started. This is me you're talking to remember," she said causing another sigh to exit Narcissa's lips.
"I'm just in shock over everything that has happened," Narcissa said, "I just cannot believe my mother would hate me that much or even be against adoption full stop. I get that that's not the Pureblood way of thinking but what is? We've had centuries of beliefs drilled into us and I agree with a lot of it but not leaving children feeling unloved. Rosalie will be so so loved and adored. I will make sure of that. I'll be fine in the end Priscilla."
"Come on. Let's go for a walk around the Gardens and get some fresh air," Priscilla said, "but you must tell me if you don't feel well. Lucius will hex me if anything happens to you," she said and Narcissa chuckled rolling her eyes before going to grab her autumn cloak.
It wasn't much after that that Narcissa and Priscilla were entering the Gardens and Narcissa instantly began to relax. She had been craving the fresh air and now she had it. She looked before beginning to head towards the horses and smiled as her own horse nudged her once she spotted her rider.
Narcissa found the bag of apples and began to feed each of the horses paying close attention to them and smiled as they showed her some affection.
"I can't wait until Rosalie is old enough to start riding. She'll take after me. Lucius has a mini-me in Draco so I will have my own mini-me," Narcissa said causing Priscilla to laugh softly.
"You really have got everything mapped out haven't you Cissa?" she asked before seeing her daughter-in-law nod and she just smiled before joining Narcissa in fussing over the horses, glad that Narcissa loved them as much as she did.
"I want to show you something," Narcissa said and Priscilla nodded as she wondered what Narcissa wanted to show her and then she began to walk through the Gardens with her. Peacocks roaming as always and Narcissa sighed, "we're still trying to figure out the Peacock Problem because Lucius wants them to roam but Rosalie won't know any better and could get hurt," she explained.
"Well they can still roam but restrict them to an area of the Gardens so they can't get close to where Rosalie will be going once she starts moving around," Priscilla said, "Abraxas and I did that when Lucius was a baby."
"Thank you. I'll have to discuss that with him," Narcissa said as she looked at her mother-in-law and stopped outside the Secret Garden. Priscilla instantly knew where they were and waited for Narcissa to open the door before the two of them headed inside, "don't close the door. Only Lucius can get in," Narcissa said before she looked around.
Priscilla nodded before she began to notice the odd changes.
"You really are getting prepared now aren't you?" she asked and Narcissa nodded.
"Yes. It might all be far too premature but at least if everywhere gets assessed then we have done most of the work already," she said, "Luc and I decided to prepare now as this could happen so suddenly and we wanted to make sure that we are prepared now. We really want this Priscilla. I had my doubts about Lucius at first but then he admitted that he'd love a little girl to fuss over and then I knew how serious this was," she said.
"He's always wanted one," Priscilla said, "but the pain that it would have given you would have broken his heart and he didn't really want to admit how much he wanted it until he was fairly sure that it was going to happen but it will happen because the Ministry is moving Hogwarts to make sure that they find a little girl out there for you and Lucius."
"I know and that means everything to me and I just want this so bad but don't want to get up my hopes at the same time that this could happen," Narcissa sighed before Priscilla hugged her.
"The fact that this has even got to the child stage means that this could truly happen," Priscilla said before turning as she heard footsteps rushing towards them and then she saw Lucius rush in panting.
Silence fell as Lucius hurried to catch his breath. He could feel eyes on him and he looked at his wife and mother.
"They've… found one! They've found a possible match!"
