Slowly scanning the room, the three of them realize it's not just Doflamingo but a fat man with a strangely gooey looking coat behind him, and even Bellamy lying prone on the floor in front of him. Both Luffy and Run are surprised to see the man here. "Oh? Do you care about him?" Doflamingo questions them. "I thought you two had a fight in Mock Town. In fact, you beat him quite badly in the colosseum, red hair. When did you guys become friends?"
"Hey! Hey!" asks Trebol. "When?! When?!"
"Who cares about the past," retorts Luffy. "Let go of Bellamy!"
"That's up to the winner to decide!" Doflamingo says. "This fool came to get killed by me. Right, Bellamy? You entered the competition at the colosseum to become an Executive of my Family. But you were defeated pathetically in the end. You couldn't even come close to winning. That's more than enough reason to be killed but I gave you another chance. Which was, if you kill Straw Hat, I'll make you an Executive. But you failed again so you shall be killed. Don't you think so, Bellamy?" The man's body begins shaking softly, and the sounds of crying reach them. Doflamingo reaches down, grasps Bellamy by his head and lifts him up.
"This is how you take responsibility, isn't it, Bellamy? You idolized by of your own will and got desperate when things didn't go as you wished. People can change their nature." He twists his head up to show his badly beaten face to the three of them. "No matter how far you go, you're just a cheap thug."
"What are you saying?! Bellamy has changed!"
"It's ok now," Bellamy grunts. "Just...kill me already..." Doflamingo's laughter sets off Luffy, who launches a kick at the man instantly. Rather than dodge, Doflamingo simply moves the man in front of him and lets him take the kick to his face.
"Ahhh! Sorry, Bellamy!"
"Didn't we agree on this earlier!" shouts Law. "If you show anger or hatred, Straw Hat-ya, you're giving the enemy what he wants! Hold back! Stirring up our emotions...is his tactic." Doflamingo drops Bellamy back to the floor. "If you lose your cool, you could get killed. Like I almost did in the first battle. Doflamingo is an ironhearted and ruthless man. He's always looking for a chance to get you. Remember the plan."
"Plan? What plan?" Run asks. The large man behind Doflamingo begins to laugh loudly.
"In the face of your dying friend," Trebol laughs. "You kicked him! Didn't you? You just kicked him! You idiot!"
"How dare you say I'm ironhearted?" Doflamingo questions him. "Law, I'm not as ironhearted as you think. I'm pretty mad. Think what you guys have done. First, you began by destroying the SAD manufacturing machine. Then, you laid your hands on Vergo and Monet and captured Caesar. Later, here in Dressrosa, you freed the toys throughout the country. Your associates are trying to destroy the SMILE Factory even now. I've had enough already. I'm smiling because I can't get any madder. And what is worse, you think you can kill me. It's been disastrous since you guys came along. Feels like I'm reliving the despair of thirteen years ago."
"If that never happened," growls Law. "I never would have shown up before you like this!"
"If that never happened, you would've been here as the third Corazon!" Law grasps the hilt of his sword firmly as he stares at Doflamingo. He throws his arms out and then swings them towards the three of them. "Black Knight!" String flies from Doflamingo's finger-tips, and swirls around to create a clone of himself. Law moves forward to engage the clone before it can get closer to them.
"Alright!" Luffy shouts. "Then, we'll fight the real one!" Luffy and Run move past Law quickly, closing in on Doflamingo. The man in question raises a hand, and Bellamy is suddenly on his feet, a pair of swords in his hand which he swings at the two of them. Run drops down and slides between his legs quickly before springing to his feet.
"Heh, 'scuse me, Bellamy!" Run says, sprinting towards Doflamingo. "But I'm here for- Shave!" The red head disappears from view reappearing several feet away as a strange ball flies through the air he'd been occupying seconds ago. "Shave!" Again he disappears, reappearing several more feet back.
"Hey! Hey!" chirps Trebol. "You were trying to get to Doffy, didn't you? Didn't you? Hey! Hey!"
"I'm trying but you're not makin' it easy, slime-ball."
"Red hair-ya!" calls Law. "Don't let your guard down against Trebol! He's a Devil Fruit user, too! If he mucus hits you, you'll be stuck fast!" Luffy breaks away from Bellamy easily and begins to growl.
"Tra-guy!" shouts Luffy. "I'm gonna kick his ass now!"
"Idiot! I told you to follow the plan! I also told you not to get heated!"
"What plan?!" demands Run, confused.
"I'm gonna do it now!" screams Luffy, rapidly sprinting at Law. "Gum-Gum..."
"Damn it!" Law growls. "I'm gonna teach you a lesson later! Room!" Luffy closes in quickly, arm stretching back as far as possible. "Shambles!" In an instant, Law and Doflamingo have changed places. Doflamingo turns sharply towards Luffy in surprise.
"...Red Hawk!" His fist slams firmly into the man's stomach, and he spits up a mouthful of blood. Trebol stares on in utter shock, completely ignoring the red head closing in on him rapidly. Run grasps the hilt of his saber tightly and cuts Trebol into pieces moments later. Doflamingo paces backwards and drops down onto his ass, a hand pressed against his stomach.
"Aaahhh!" shouts Trebol. "Doffy! Are you alright?!" Run points his saber down at the man's disembodied head.
"Thanks for letting me in on the plan!" complains Run. Eventually Doflamingo stands himself back up and looks at the three of them.
"See?!" demands Law. "I told you that wouldn't work! Now, it's never gonna work again!"
"Plan?" echos Doflamingo, slowly raising an arm. "You shitty brats! You're messing with me!" His clone appears behind him, and launches itself at Luffy this time instead of Law this time. Run takes a step in the Shichibukai's direction, and then takes an abrupt step back as another mucus ball passes in front of him, striking the wall on the opposite side of the room and exploding on contact.
"Whoa!" shouts Run, his head snapping in a now reformed Trebol's direction. "Law, help Luffy. I'll take care of Trebol." Run moves towards the man quickly, not waiting for a reply from Law.
"Sticky Stick Launcher!" calls Trebol, launching several of the mucas balls at the red head. He dodges them with ease, appearing in front of Trebol.
"Sea King's Roar!" His attack strikes the man square in the chest but rather than toss him away, both men remain firmly in place. The red head tries to pull back but finds himself held fast. "What the hell? Ugh! Get off, slime ball!" Trebol's laughter sounds as the man looks down at him.
"You're really stupid!" laughs Trebol. "Aren't you?! Hey! Hey!" Run smirks in response and suddenly stops his struggling. Flames suddenly roar to life around the red head, and Trebol lunges back sharply his eyes wide in shock as he barely avoids the flames that explode outwards. Trebol races a hand to shield his face from the sea of flames, looking around quickly for any sign of Run.
"What's wrong?" Run laughs, sweeping a hand out and scattering the fire in all direction. "Afraid of a little fire?" Seeing the wave of fire incoming both Luffy and Law dodge quickly, leaping away and landing away from the flames.
"Oi, oi!" screams Luffy. "Jeez, what are you trying to do, Run?! Don't burn me, too!"
"Watch what you're doing!" calls Law.
"It wasn't on purpose!" Run counters. "You wanna-" The red head whips his hand up quickly, but rather than intercepting a punch a ball of mucas strikes his palm with a disgusting 'splat!' instantly wrapping around it. "Holy shit, that's gross! I can't believe I actually caught it! Oh, why is it cold?!" He shakes his hand violently but the ball doesn't budge and he growls in irritation. "Fine! Have it your way!" Flames erupt from his body, swirling around the ball on his hand...which begins to bubble violently. "What the-" The mucus very suddenly explodes, creating a cloud of smoke that obscures the red head from view.
"Red hair-ya!" Run suddenly leaps back from the cloud of smoke, half his body dyed an inky black in color.
"The mucus is flammable...thanks for the heads up, Law!" His Haki disappears and a smirk begins to form across his face. "But now that I know that..." Run thrusts his palm out, and motions skyward with his fingers quickly as flames race in Trebol's direction. "Flame Pillar!" Trebol avoids it quickly, dodging backwards from the radius even as Run rushes head-long through his own flames. He appears before Trebol as the man's feet touch the ground, flames rapidly gathering around his right arm. "Heat Haze!" He thrusts his palm out, a massive gout of flames erupting forth.
"Hey! Hey!" laughs Trebol, dodging out of the path of the flames. "You'll never hit me with such obvious attacks! Hey! Hey! What are you thinking?!" Run raises his saber and turns towards him quickly.
"Churning Tide." A single slash cuts through the ground before numerous deep cuts crawl in Trebol direction, slicing the man's body to pieces once again. Flames rapidly gather around Run's arm once more as he rushes Trebols cut up body.
"Hey! Hey! Wait a second! Hold on!"
"Don't think I can miss now, Slime-ball!" Run raises his arm and is blind-sided by a kick from none other than Doflamingo. He strikes the ground and bounds to his feet immediately, turning to face the man. "Shave!" Run appears in front of Doflamingo, his saber smashing against Doflamingo's now Haki infused feathered coat. The Shichibukai grins as Run presses aginst him, and seconds later suddenly dodges backwards quickly as it comes down, several pink feathers slowly drifting down. Run readies his sword immediately after but rather than pursue him, Doflamingo instead breaks away and moves towards Law who is now moving to finish Trebol. Doflamingo raises his hand quickly. "Law, move!"
"Fallbright!" calls Doflamingo, as strings pieces Law's back and he drops to the ground in front of Doflamingo. "I won't forgive anyone who messes with my family! Do you remember what I hate the most, Law? To be looked down upon!" Run rushes quickly, and his eyes widen when Doflamingo's clone appears before him, rapidly changing into a number of strings.
"Shave!" He disappears as he strike the ground and his eyes widen when Doflamingo appears before him. The Shichibukai drives his foot into the red head's stomach he grunts loudly as he's tossed back, flying away from the palace before coming to an abrupt halt, as if something has bound him tightly. His arms are wrenched behind his back, and his saber drops from his hands towards the ground. He's yanked back sharply, and slammed hard into the floor of the palace, shattering the stone. Run quickly sits himself up, aches and pains beginning to settle into his body. Doflamingo appears before him, and stamps his foot down into the red head's chest, actually kicking him through the floor and into the lower level of his palace.
Run grunts with the impact, fresh scrapes and bruises covering him as pieces of the stone rain down upon him. With a growl, Run rolls onto his stomach and pulls against whatever it binding his wrists together tight. After a few seconds he relaxes, and takes a breath. Logia Devil Fruit's allow their eaters to become intangible...he just needs to focus. The sounds of fighting continue on the floor above him but he can't help if he can't get his arms free. A shadow falls over him seconds later, and he glances over his shoulder quickly. Trebol is falling rapidly in his direction.
"Sticky Launcher!" calls Trebol, flinging several balls of mucus as him.
"Oh! Sh-" The strike the red head, exploding violently on contact and obscuring him from view. Laughter fills the hall as Trebol lands.
"Idiot! You thought you could kill me! Hey! Hey! Are you stupid?!" Several moments of silence follow before flames suddenly roar to life within the cloud of dust, and race past Trebol quickly. In the blink of an eye, the whole hall as become a sea of flames, surrounding the man and cutting off all paths.
"So...it takes a conscious effort, and concentration to become and maintain intangibility after eating a Logia." The red head steps out of the cloud of smoke calmly, several gaping and flaming holes through his chest. The holes rapidly close and he thumps his fist against his chest a few times. "I think I'm starting to get-"
"Sticky Launcher!" Several mucus shots are fired off, and Run turns his shoulder sharply, dodging out of the path of the darkened sphere. They explode several meters behind him, and Run clenches his fist tightly. The flames surrounding them some to grow in size, and intensity as they leap skyward. A soft sizzling reaches Trebol's ears and he glances back at the hem of his 'coat' quickly.
"Careful now, Trebol." He quickly leaps away, shedding the end of his coat seconds before it explodes violently. He whirls around to face the red head, who is holding an arm out in his direction. "Heat Haze!" A gout of flame erupts from his palm, and Trebol dodges again...but not fast enough to avoid the sleeve of his 'coat' catching fire. Trebol sheds it quickly, and another explosion rattles the palace. Run appears in front of the man through the smoke and flames. "Haki...Burst!" His projected Busoshoku strikes Trebol in the ribs, and drives him through the wall, scattering the flames before they roar back to life once more.
Trebol smashes through several pieces of furniture before eventually coming to a stop several meters away, slowly reforming his body. The man stares at the new hole in the wall, the flames almost seeming to part as Run steps out calmly. Run's brow furrows as he stares at Trebol. He's sure that his strike connected firmly with his ribs but it doesn't look like it hurt him at all...Haki should nullify a Logia's intangibility. There's more to this than meets to eye, that's for certain. The whole palace suddenly shakes violently and both man glance at the ceiling for a moment before turning their attention back to one another.
"Sticky Launcher!"
"Shave!" Run disappears quickly, reappearing several feet away as the mucus bombs explode. He rushes forward quickly before Trebol can react. "Sea King's Bite!" His fist smashes into Trebol's stomach, sending the man sliding back from him, a hole blown clear through him. The man's body quickly knits itself back together as if nothing has happened...but it just doesn't feel right! He didn't protect himself with Haki, and he took the punch dead on. It shouldn't be possible, not even for a Logia eater. The only thing he seems to be avoiding are the flames of the Flare-Flare Fruit. But...one more test.
"Hey! Hey! That's not going to work! You can try all you like!" Run spreads his arms, flames leaping violently from them and suddenly engulfing the entire room once again. The doors, the halls, the windows and even the majority of the floor are completely shrouded in flames preventing entry or exit.
"Heat Haze!" Run launches a colum of flame at Trebol who dodges quickly. Again the whole palace shakes violently. Whatever Law and Luffy are doing above their heads makes it seem like the whole building is going to come down on top of them any second.
"Sticky-"
"Flame Pillar!" Trebol's shots go wild as he's forced to dodge quickly, narrowly avoiding being completely engulfed in the flames which scorch the ceiling. Run closes the distance as Trebol lands. "Haki...Heat Burst!"
"Sticky Stick Launcher!" Trebol fires off dozens of small balls of mucus to absorb his attack...unfortunately, all of them detonate almost instantly between them, filling the room with a thick smoke. Both men leap backwards out of the smoke. As the smoke slowly clears a grin spreads across Run's face.
"I get it now, Trebol. I thought you'd eaten a Logia, too, but I was wrong." Two powerful bursts of Haoshoku Haki from above their heads draws his attention instantly. "What the hell?"
"Sticky Launcher!" Run dodges again, this time reappearing in front of Trebol. His right arm reaches out and grasps the man tightly by his throat. "H-Hey! What are you-" Run yanks him forward and drives his fist as hard as he can into the man's chest...and to his utter surprise, he actually strikes something solid. Trebol is thrown to the ceiling smashing through it, and Run follows instantly. He leaps through the hole in the ceiling and lands at the edge of it, finding Trebol lying several feet away in a pool of mucus. It seems that the man truly hadn't eaten a Logia...he was just disguising his body with his own mucus.
Run shudders at the thought of it and looks around quickly. His eyes widen when they land on Law, an arm missing and lying in a pool of his own blood. Just what in the hell had happened over these past few minutes?! Luffy is squaring off with Doflamingo, both of them looking like they've taken a hell of a beating. "Luffy!"
"Run!" shouts Luffy. "Take Law, and-" The striking of a lighter sounds and all heads turn towards the noise quickly. Trebol is holding a lighter tightly in his hand, and glaring firmly at the red head...who is standing among several large clumps of Trebol's mucus. "Move!" Trebol throws the lighter at the red head the next second.
"Shave!" Law feels himself pulled sharply before a huge explosion rocks the palace, a column of flame reaching skyward. Run glances over his shoulder at the flames that have engulfed the palace. By the skin of his teeth he'd snatched up Law and his severed arm. Through the flames Run briefly catches a glimpse of Luffy and Doflamingo fighting once again...he's got to find a place to stash Law and then get back to help Luffy out. The two of them drop down towards the Flower Field, and Run lands with a grunt. "You still owe me, Law! You're not dying before we're even!"
"Run! Tra-guy!" shouts a familiar voice, attracting his attention. Robin sprints through the sunflower field towards the two of them quickly. Behind her, Rebecca, Kyros, Leo, Cub and another little person that Run doesn't recognize follow. The red head sets Law down carefully on the ground and turns to look back at the palace. The flames clear again, and Doflamingo comes flying out in their direction.
"Red hair!" screams Doflamingo. "Don't act too concerned! He's still alive, and he's not dismissed, yet!" Luffy pursues the Shichibukai quickly. "Bullet String!"
"Leave them alone!" shouts Luffy. "Gum-Gum...Hawk Whip!" Luffy's leg smashes into Doflamingo who blocks his kick before firing off his attack at them. Run tenses, flames roaring to life around his left arm...but Cavendish appears seconds later.
"Precious Metal Axe!" calls Cavendish, deflecting Doflamingo's attacks. "Sorry I'm late! I was sleeping until a moment ago!"
"Run! Take everyone and get them off the plateau!"
"Luffy-"
"I'm trusting you with this, Run!"
"Aww...fer fuck's sake!" bellows Run, scooping Law up carefully. "Luffy! Don't you die on me! Robin, get his arm!" As they start to sprint away from the palace, Law surprises him by finally coming to and grasping him firmly by the shoulder.
"O-Oi, red hair-ya!" grunts Law. "Leave me...here!"
"What the hell are you talking about?"
"For the past thirteen years...I've been living just to kill Doflamingo! I've done...everything I can! I have to leave the rest to Straw Hat-ya! If he's gonna win, I need to see it happen with my own eyes! If he loses...I need to be here to die along with him!" The sounds of Doflamingo and Luffy fighting echo loudly behind the red head. "I got him involved in this conflict...I gotta see it through! Leave me!"
"You need to get something straight, Law. Captains of allied pirate groups are equals...Luffy took this fight of his own free will. He won't fight if he doesn't have to."
"Just leave me here! I'm begging you!"
"Fine. You wanna see it through, then let's see it through. Robin, you go on ahead. I'm gonna stay here with Law."
"Run," whispers Robin.
"I'll stay as well," Cavendish says. "I may not get to fight him...but I can still watch his end."
"Don't worry. Law and I, we'll be fine. This idiot isn't gonna die before he's paid me back...and I'm not going anywhere." He sighs softly. "And...you can tell me what happened to your back when we see each other again." After a few long moments Robin nods, and leaves quickly with the others. Run is surprised when Cub, Leo and the other little person stay behind to look after Law rather than leaving immediately with the others. While the fight rages on in the distance, the little people go about treating Law and even reattaching his severed arm through the use of Princess Mansherry's and Leo's Devil Fruit abilities. After they've finished, they quickly chase after the others. "Huh. I heard doctors make bad patients...but not a single complaint."
"I'm in no position to complain," Law counters.
"Sure can make demands, though." Both Law and Run blink in surprise when Doflamingo is suddenly sent flying away from the palace and into the town below. Run turns quickly to watch the battle between the two. Luffy has taken a strange form he's never seen before, and while it's giving him the upper-hand against the Shichibukai...he's draining his Haki like crazy. Doflamingo on the other hand has begun to turn the very buildings around him into string to use against Luffy. If Luffy goes on like he is he's going to burn himself out before he can finish the fight.
They watch as Luffy deliver a powerful blow to the Shichibukai, sending him flying across the town. Silence reigns for several long moments before the citizens of the city below suddenly erupt into cheers, declaring Luffy the winner of the fight. As soon as they start, however, they quickly die off and Luffy drops from the sky. Familiar laughter fills the air, and both Law and Run look back at the palace. Jesus Burgess is perched on the edge of the palace, completely unaware of their presence and focused only on the fight taking place below.
The man's torso is wrapped completely in bandages, and stained with his own blood...but he's still got the strength to move around, apparently. Burgess disappears for a moment and then reappears as he leaps from the palace towards the town below. Run growls and sprints forward, leaping over the edge after Burgess.
"Ohh, this might hurt!" Run lands with loud grunt across from Burgess.
"Red hair," growls Burgess. "Good! I'll kill both of you and take them here and now! The Gum-Gum Fruit, and the Flare-Flare Fruit! They belong to me!" Run smirks in response, and cracks his knuckles loudly.
"So come an get 'em." In the distance, Run can see Doflamingo start moving again, but that's not all. The street is rapidly beginning to fill with gladiators from the colosseum. Run clenches his fists, flames roaring to life across his arms. But rather than launch themselves at the two of them, they instead say they're going to hold Doflamingo off if Luffy can get back in the fight and bring him down. "Luffy...how long do you need?"
"T-Ten minutes!" growls Luffy, slowly pushing himself up from the ground. "Ten minutes...and I can kick his ass! I promise!" The men around them all shout at the top of their lungs and half charge down the street towards Doflamingo. Run glances over his shoulder, spotting the annoying announcer from the colosseum among the gladiators.
"Take him. Keep him safe." The man nods in understanding, and picks Luffy up onto his back. Burgess charges forward quickly, pulling a large knife out as he draws close.
"Go to hell, red hair!" screams Burgess. Before he can even swing his knife, he's blind-sided by Sabo who kicks him hard enough in the jaw to toss him back down the street. Sabo whirls his pipe around before pointing it squarely at Burgess.
"I'm Sabo from the Revolutionary Army!" announces Sabo. "'Straw Hat' Luffy and 'Red' Run are my brothers! What do you want from them, Burgess?"
"'Straw Hat' is your brother? I've heard someone say that before."
"I bet 'Fire Fist' Ace said it, too. The four of us are brothers."
"I see! I get it now."
"After the duel on Banaro Island, you Blackbeard pirates captured Ace, and it triggered the ugly Paramount War. Ace made the choice...but I'm watching their backs hereafter! Remember that!" Burgess actually laughs in Sabo's face.
"I have no interest in your relationship with them! I've not business with the Revolutionary Army or you, so don't get in my way! I'm only interested in..." Run smirks and flames suddenly roar to life across his arms.
"You're not gonna get away with just a single slash this time, Burgess," Run warns. "Sabo, you go with Luffy."
"Can you..." Sabo trails off when Run glances at him, a single crimson brow arched. "...never mind. I'll leave Burgess to you, then." Sabo turns towards Luffy and the announcer before they sprint off down the street. Ten minutes isn't a long time...but it could feel like an eternity under the right circumstances. The bird cage surrounding the town closing in rapidly, that's the right circumstances, come to think of it.
"I'll be taking that Devil Fruit, red hair!" Burgess charges forward quickly. "Galleon...Lariat!" Rather than dodge, Run reaches out quickly, a loud 'smack!' sounding as Burgess feels his arm thrust skyward. The force from his punch destroys the top of a building behind the red head who steps in quickly, flames roaring to life around his left arm.
"Sea King's Burning Fang!" growls Run, smashing his elbow smashing into Burgess' stomach. He spits out a bit of blood as he flies back, smashing through the front of a nearby building. Run calmly walks forward as Burgess comes rolling out of the rubble, flames wildly leaping across him. The man rolls on the ground violently, swatting and thrashing as they're slowly extinguished. Burgess pushes himself up to his feet and turns to face the red head, his arms rapidly dying an inky black. Run moves forward quickly towards the man.
"Galleon Lariat!"
"Sea King's Bite!" Their fists collide, and Burgess recoils sharply, several soft cracks accompanying his forced retreat. "Heat Haze!" He thrusts his free arm out, firing a coloumn of flame at Burgess that swallows the man whole. Burgess reappears seconds later, striking the ground and rolling about violently to extinguish the flames covering his body. Burgess rolls onto his hands and knees and Run appears before him, a hand tightly grasping the back of his head. "Sea King's Bite!" Run drives his fist into Burgess' chest, and tosses him into the sky. He follows quickly, appearing above the man. "Sea King's Lash!" The red head's foot lands on the back of Burgess' skull and sends him plummeting straight back to the earth, smashing into it hard enough to destroy the stone road.
He lands several feet in front of a now motionless Burgess, and sighs softly. "Is this all a member of Blackbeards crew amounts to?" After a few moments of silence Burgess slowly pushes himself up onto his hands and knees and lifts his head to glare at him.
"W...Well...aren't you going to finish me?"
"Oh, I am. I did say I would kill you, after all."
"Ohh...maybe one of you brothers does have a back-bone after all. You know, after losing to our Captain on Banaro Island, Ace had something to say before he got handed over to the Navy." Run slowly walks back towards Burgess, flames roaring to life across his arms. "You'll laugh when you hear it! He realized he was gonna be executed and he said...'don't tell my brother'." Burgess breaks out into laughter while the flames suddenly begin to burn brighter. "He didn't know how much he was worth!" Burgess suddenly finds himself lifted by his throat, the sizzling of flesh filling the air. "You...You weren't there, though! 'Straw Hat' came to save him but you were nowhere to be found!"
"I'm here now, and I'll be there when Luffy takes down Blackbeard. Unfortunately for you, you won't be around to see it happen." Burgess reaches behind him quickly, and pulls out his knife.
"I'm not going to lose the Flare-Flare Fruit!" He swings the weapon down and Run lunges back, avoiding the blade with ease. "Damn it!"
"Fire Fist!" Flames explode from the red head's palm, completely engulfing Burgess, and creating a sea of flames before him. Run stares through the flames, looking for any sign of movement. But after a few long moments he doesn't see a single thing. "Haah...buh-bye, Burgess." Run turns away from the flames and comes to a stop when cheering begins to echo across the town, growing in volume until it drowns out even the crackling of the flames behind him. With a smile he turns his attention skyward...and finds the bird-cage slowly strangling the city is finally gone. Doflamingo has finally been laid low, and Dressrosa is free from the man's rule.
"Good job, Luffy..."
