Chapter 39. - Tropical Storm Lightning -

Lightning and Sally were looking around the ballrooms when they got word that the observation point was ready. They were met at the door by the operational manager.

"I got a few rules for you." He said "First, do not leave the marked area. If you do, you'll be asked to come in side. Do you have any questions? *Sally and Lightning shook their hood no.* All right, go on. To get the best pictures, set your camera to its highest setting."

Lightning and Sally drove to the observation point. As soon as they were outside, the winds were already blowing close to thirty miles an hour. There were about ten other cars there looking around and taking pictures. Noise from waves constantly crashing on the shore was almost deafening.

"ARE YOU DOING OK?" Lightning yelled over the crashing waves and howling wind "I DON'T THINK WE ARE GOING TO STAY OUT IN THIS."

Sally shook her hood, letting Lightning know she agreed with him.

"I JUST WANT A FEW PICTURES FOR OUR WEDDING/HONEYMOON ALBUM." She shouted back "BESIDES, I'M GETTING COLD."

The temperature had dropped dramatically and it was no longer warm. Sally took some pictures of Lightning and the crashing waves. The staff member that was assigned to watch the observation deck took pictures of Lightning and Sally together before a huge crashing wave.

"I'M DONE!" Sally yelled "ARE YOU READY TO GO IN?"

Lightning shook his hood yes and they drove back to the door.

"Well, that was an experience." Lightning said then saw Sally shivering "Are you cold or scared?"

"A little of both." Sally said "I need something warm to drink."

They headed to the ballroom.

Ten minutes later:

"Are you warming up?" Lightning asked "Do you want to stay here, or go back to our room?"

"We can go back to the room." Sally said "While the internet is still up and running, I can post the pictures."

Lightning grabbed a few sandwiches and a drink before heading back to their room.

"Stickers, how can you eat at a time like this?" Sally asked when she saw him eating "If I tried eating right now, I would get sick."

"I don't know." Lightning said "Maybe it's my nerves making me hungry."

"I doubt that." Sally said "Maybe you're a bottomless pit and will find any excuse to stuff your face. *Lightning shot her one of his cheesy smiles.* Yeah, that's what I thought."

The wind was howling when they got back to the room.

"Wow, will you listen to that!" Sally said "It's getting scary out there."

"Now I understand why we were moved." Lightning said "Nuair wails an mBean, nach bhfuil bás i bhfad taobh thiar."

"What does that mean?" Sally asked "If you don't mind me asking."

"It's an Irish saying." Lightning explained "When the Banshee wails, death is not far behind."

"Uh, dumb question." Sally said "What's a banshee?"

"A banshee is a female sprit in Irish mythology, usually seen as an omen." Lightning explained "Traditionally, when a person dies a woman would sing a lament in Irish, caoineadh, 'caoin' meaning 'to weep or to wail'. For Gaelic families, the lament would be sung by a banshee: having foresight, she would sing it when a family member died, even if the person had died far away and news of their death had not yet come. So, the wailing of the banshee was the first warning of a death."

"Oh, ok." Sally said "Are banshees pretty, what do they look like?"

"Banshees are frequently described as having white or grey paint jobs, often having a long pale cloak and a silver comb." Lightning said "This comb is related to the centuries-old traditional Irish story that, if you ever see a comb lying on the ground, you must never pick it up. The banshees placed it there as a lure and will spirit such gullible cars away."

"You know a lot about Irish myths." Sally said "For being 'an American boy'."

"When I was younger, Grandfather would tell us all kinds of fantastic stories." Lightning said "As I got older, the more I got interested in Irish myths."

Right before the internet went down Sally posted their pictures, which looked great. By now the wind and rain were pounding the estate. The lights flickered a few times and then went out.

"Lightning!" Sally called "I'm scared!"

She turned on her headlights to see Lightning heading for her.

"Do you want to go to the ballroom and be around other people?" he asked "It might be comforting for you."

"Yeah." Sally said shakily "I would like that."

Once the lights came back on, Lightning grabbed Sally's laptop before heading to the ballrooms.

Once there: Some of the guests were playing games or watching movies, while other guests paced nervously through the halls, followed closely by staff members who were trying their best to settle their nerves.

"Have you watched all of that boring abbey show?" Lightning asked "Your laptop has a full charge, you should get five or six hours of use out of it before the batteries die. Come on let's get you settled."

Sally took a seat. One of the staff members came over to Sally.

"Ma'am, would you like for me to plug it in for you?" He offered "Before you ask, the generators produce more than enough power."

"Sure." Sally said 'Thank you."

"I'm going to get something to eat." Lightning said "Do you want anything?"

"Just bring me something light to snack on." Sally said "I'm not that hungry."

Lightning came back with a plate of cheese, crackers, and an iced tea. Sally nibbled on the crackers, soon she became involved with the show forgetting all about the storm. Once Lightning saw Sally was relaxed, he relaxed himself and spent the evening talking with the other guests and playing card games. A staff member came around often and refilled their drinks. Manuel came around every hour and let the guest know what was going on with the storm.

2 am:

"All right everyone." Manuel said "We have gotten all clear. Some of the staff members are reporting light damage, but everything is fine. You all can go back to your rooms. *Thunder rumbled over hood.* The thunderstorms will continue for rest of the night. None of them are expected to be severe. If anything changes we will let you know. Please leave your blinds and curtains closed and don't remove any of the storm shutters. Staff members will start to remove them tomorrow morning. The ballrooms will stay open all night, so if you want something to eat, please help yourselves. The kitchen will reopen at 7am. Room service is not available at this time. Please do not leave the estate as the roads are still closed. If anyone needs anything, I'll be at the front desk for a little while."

Lightning looked over to Sally. She had closed her lap top and was asleep in her chair. A staff member had covered her with a light blanket. Yawning, Lightning drove over to her.

"Sally, Sweetheart wake up." Lightning said gently "It's safe to go back to the room."

"Ok." Sally said "I'm exhausted."

Once Sally and Lightning made it to their room, they cuddled up together and was soon asleep.

Next morning:

Lightning and Sally returned to the bungalow. The storm shutters held and nothing was out of place. Lightning went to the TV hoping that there was a movie or something to watch.

"Well, that shoots that idea." Lightning said "The cable or whatever they have is out. All I'm getting is a blue screen of death."

He turned off the TV.

"If you told me." Sally said "I would've down loaded some of your movies."

"I know." Lightning said "With everything going on, I forgot about that."

"There's a huge rack of DVDs in the media room." Sally said "Is there something in there you want to watch?"

"I don't know." Lightning said "I'll go look."

To Lightning's dismay most of the titles were in Spanish. So he went to the bedroom, laid down on the bed. Lightning tried calling home. As expected, the phone lines were down.

Sally rolled past the bedroom:

"Sweetheart, are you alright?" Sally asked when she saw him laying motionless "Is married life boring?"

"Not really, I've loved our time together." Lightning said "But I'm ready to go home. I need the excitement of racing. I'm not talking about what happens on the track, but It's everything else. The roar of the crowds in the stands, the excitement, reporters begging for an interview, and pities rushing around, trying to get everything ready for the race."

"I understand." Sally said "To tell you the truth, I'm ready to go home too."

She climbed into bed, took off his codpiece, and started playing with his manhood.

"Could we not do this right now." Lightning said "I'm tired."

Sally was shocked, this is the first time Lightning said he didn't want sex.

"All right… where's the real Lightning?" Sally asked playfully "My husband would never turn down having his dick played with, no matter how tired he is. Besides, you said I could play with it."

Lightning laughed

"I did say that." Lightning said "Didn't I?"

"Yes, you did." Sally responded "I have been looking forward to it."

Sally continued to play with him. Lightning's manhood seemed softer than normal. Before Lightning knew it, Sally had flipped him on his roof and looked at his manhood, it was quite limp. She picked it up and let it flop a few times against Lightning's undercarriage. She stroked it lovingly, but it just laid there, lifeless.

"Oh, my god!" Sally said playfully "I've killed it! Don't worry! I know how to bring it back to life."

Before Lightning could do anything, Sally had his manhood in her mouth. She sucked on it eagerly. Sally had to work a little harder than normal, but she managed to get Lightning to respond to the stimulation.

"That's my slut chops!" Lightning groaned "Suck it, you dirty girl."

"I thought you didn't like me giving you a blow." Sally said as she ran her tire down his erection "Do you want me to stop?"

"No, don't." Lightning groaned "I've changed my mind… I love this."

Lightning bucked in her grip, panting heavily as he threw his hood back.

'How does Sally always make this feel so fucking good?' Lightning thought to himself 'No matter how tired I am; she can get me hard.'

Soon: Lightning was squirming in joy as he felt his climax build up inside him. Sally was savoring her husband's flavor; he was the best tasting thing she has ever had.

"Fuck… don't… stop…" Lightning said as he grabbed Sally's sides and pulled her closer

"Fuck…fuck!" Sally took more and more of him into her mouth. Soon, Lightning was driven to the point of no return. He didn't have time for a warning before he exploded into Sally's mouth. For a moment, Lightning's mind registered nothing as his entire frame arched off the bed. Sally made no attempt of letting go as he climaxed. Moments later: Sally watched as Lightning's manhood decompress and go back to a 'comatose' state. Lightning rolled over and passionately kissed Sally.

"That was wonderful My Queen, I owe you one." He whispered as he lightly ran his tire along her side "I love you."

"And I love you too." Sally replied, a smile of satisfaction written all over her face "Now, let's go shopping!"

Lightning groaned as he got out of bed.

"Sally will you slow down." Lightning grumbled "I haven't recovered yet."

The Next Morning: Lightning and Sally got up and had a nice quiet breakfast together. They could hear hammering going on. The damage from the storm was minor and the estate was already making repairs. The sea had returned to its quiet lapping at the shore. It was a milky brown, not the clear azure sea it was when they got there. There was downed tree branches and debris all over the beach. However the cable or whatever, was back up and running. They watched the news as they ate. The news was good. The storm was not as strong as they were expecting and damage was light. There were several severe injuries reported but luckily, no deaths. Sally called home and let everyone know they were ok. When Lightning called his parents, he was relieved when Bella answered the phone. Somehow, he knew something was wrong.

"Mom, what's wrong?" Lightning asked "It sounds like you've been crying."

"It's nothing honey." Bella said "I'm just happy you and Sally are safe."

Lightning heard Riley calling Bella's name in the background, he sounded angry.

"Mom, I can tell everything is not fine." Lightning said, as Bella choked back a sob "Mom, please tell me. What's going on?"

"Brody and Irene come home drunk last night. Riley said that he could smell Marijuana on them. Brody flew into a rage and smashed my favorite vases. That was Riley's breaking point and he threw them out." Bella sobbed "The police came by this morning looking for Brody. It seems after Riley threw them out, Brody and Irene headed back to the bar and started a fight. We just got word, they've been arrested for battery."

"Holy crap!" Lightning said "When is Brody going to learn. Are you more upset Brody broke the vases or that he got arrested?"

"Both… Light, I made those vases myself when I was in high school. They meant a lot to me and Brody knew it." Bella said "I've tried to be a good mother and look what has happened."

"Mom, you were always a good mother." Lightning said "And in the last year, you have become a great mother, and I love you."

"I love you too" Bella said "I got to go, I'll call you in a few days."

"Ok, bye Mom." Lightning said "Sally and I have one more day here before we head home. If you need anything call."

"I will." Bella said "Love you." Lightning hung up and sighed. Seeing how unhappy Lightning looked, Sally drove over to him. Lightning told Sally everything what had happened.

"I'm sorry." Sally said gently "There's nothing you could have done."

"I was hoping Brody would straighten up at some point." Lightning said "I'll deal with it later, we have some shopping to do."

Sally giggled happily as she followed him out the door.

COMMENTS:

Guest 2- To think you're making a simple phone call and then the worst someone answers.- Yep that was a nasty surprise. One that Lightning never saw coming.

Brody's attitude and behaviour really stinks. I'd never call anybody with a nature like that my family or friends. Brody's just a selfish, self-centered psychopathic, disrespectful asshole. Brody's just blaming Lightning and Merida just coz he doesn't want to share.- We all know people like this and you wish could slap them upside the head and say "Grow up, you fucking asshole!"... wait, I've done that a time or two, it was fun!

I like Riley's nasty side where he's proper rough with discipline.- I try to show Riley is an easygoing dad... just don't break his rules. Brody, Lightning and Merida know he'll "tan their butts" if they do.

So no respect for Sidney!? Big mistake there. Go Merida.- I originally had Sid punch Brody for shoving him, but it made Sid come off a little too aggressive. I'm saving that for later. Besides, I wanted Merida to kick his ass again.

Really! Brody trying to play all technical with sexual activity compared to how he does it with Irene which is inappropriate!? Lifeless prick! Big mistake and shame on Irene's parents bailing Brody out! Brody won't be a match for Merida or Riley if he causes trouble though- As you can see, it didn't take long for Riley to throw them out.

Obviously Bella loves Lightning and Sally to break down like that. Only true parents care.- Bella can be high stung... She's a mom, all moms worry about their kids, not matter how old they are.

Shame Lightning and Sally's honeymoon has been invaded by this horrid Storm but it doesn't seem to be putting them off too much. Sally's a true sweetheart for Lightning. You often say whatever did you do to deserve them. Please make a quicky between Lightning and Sally- Didn't have time for a full quicky, so i put a half quicky in there. Sally will get her half soon!

I swear I'm back to being the only one who follows and reviews your story.- It's ok... I've quit caring.

No idea what's happened to MontyMcqueen or the others but then don't be put off by it.- Who know and who cares! I know that's a crappy attiude, but I'm done trying to make everyone happy.

You've still got me and never give up.- I know and thank you. I always look forwarded to your comments. Normally, they are the highlight of my day!
