"I missed you. Say something funny."

"Your ex-wife came to see me."

"That is not funny."

"Why is she coming to my house?"

"Angela is jealous. I gave her a car, and I told her we are done."

"You gave her a car?"

"A cheap used car. She needed a car, and I owed her money. I'm not answering her calls anymore."

"Do you really mean that?"

"Yes."

"Okay, I was about to take a shower. You can watch tv."

"Can I join you?"

"You don't have any clothes here."

"I always keep extra clothes in my car."

"Okay. Just a shower. Nothing else."

Olivia was rethinking rushing into a marriage with Fitz. She didn't want to marry a man who was attached to another woman. That would not be good for her emotionally. In her dreams, she was a completely different person. She could emotionally detach herself from sex. In real life, she fell in love fast.

"I'm going to get my clothes out of the car. Wait for me."

When Fitz came back in the house, Olivia was in her room. He came in just in time to see her pull blue denim shorts down her hips along with white satin panties. She pulled a gray racer back t-shirt over her head along with the sports bra. He was in a trance seeing her like this. She blushed and looked away from him.

"Can I taste you?"

"How about after I shower?"

"I don't want to taste soap. I want to taste you."

Olivia laughed nervously. She showered before their morning jog, but she was not fresh anymore. She didn't want to smell like perfume and sweat the first time he tasted her.

"Umm not right now."

Fitz held her face with both hands and kissed her. This was their second kiss. Being so close and smelling her natural scent was everything he wanted right now. Maybe her telling him no was a good idea. He wanted more than a taste. Fitz wanted to live in her silky walls. To stay there as long as he could. Warm and wet with kisses begging him to keep going.

"I need a cold shower."

"Not too cold." Olivia said, leading the way to the shower.

"No sex." He said.

"Until you're ready to propose." Olivia finished his sentence.
