A foot kicks around a soccer ball, then bouncing it on his knees. He brings it around his arm to spin it on his finger with a grin.
"Hi, I'm Pitch Kickham, and your eyes are not playing tricks on you. My shorts are incredibly snug." He's wearing turquoise shorts that has orange lining on them. He poses with them, flexing his behind. "You're welcome."
He throws the ball into the air, bouncing it on his head. "My game's so tight, I can't lose," He then kicks the ball to the goal, where he catches it with his feet. "Celebrate the launch of the all-new McHuggers today at the Pitch Kickham Shoot Kicktacular," He smiles, his whole face shining. "If you can block my shot, you and a friend will win a dream trip with me, Pitch Kickham, in a limo to the airport."
He kicks the ball again and it goes towards the screen, showing the logo. "McHuggers!"
"When you asked me to hold your spots in line for the Kicktacular, you guys didn't say anything about standing," Howard says into his phone angrily.
Ninja and Kunoichi are battling monsters at a warehouse. "Howard, you stand in line all the time for lunch," Kunoichi deadpans at him.
"Watch this," Her partner whispers to her. "Have you tried leaning?" Ninja asks their friend.
"Hmm..." He leans against the wall. "You just bought yourselves five minutes."
"Impressive," Kunoichi smiles at him and he blushes bashfully, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Thanks..."
"What do you see in that guy?" Howard asks in annoyance, both of them flinching as their faces go red.
"What?" Kunoichi coughs a bit while Ninja is smiling to himself. "Um, moving on!"
They pause the conversation with Howard as they run across a crate in the air. Robo-apes are chasing them and they jump around, landing behind the robo-ape army.
"Ninja and Kuno Snatch!" They throw their scarves around the three, throwing them over their heads. The robo-apes fly over the two and land on the ground with a thump.
"Now hurry up or I'm gonna have to do this thing. And doing things ain't my thing. It's your thing, with Smith's being soccer. With her on our side, we'll have this in the bag!" Howard hangs up with them, Kunoichi rolling her eyes.
"Ugh. The only reason why I'm doing this is because you guys helped me with getting my promotion at the McFist-A-Plex..."
"But don't you wanna go too?" Ninja turns to her curiously.
"Not the time for this conversation~" She reminds him as they flip their way to the floor.
"The Ninja and Kunoichi are escaping," McFist points at them from the top of another crate. "Get up and capture them!"
The robo-apes simply turn to the duo. "Hmm? Ninja Sprint!" They run off as the robots chase after them again. The door is about to close ahead of them, to trap them inside the warehouse. The two slide out the door and Kunoichi comes back to grab the rest of her braid. She rushes out just as the door closes. Then Ninja opens the door, his partner peeking in.
"No honkin' way!" He exclaims at the boxes nearby. "McHuggers! They don't come out till tomorrow." He takes one and looks at it.
"Um, don't you think we should, I don't know, wait until they come out? Don't forget about what's in front of us!" She points to the army of robo-apes approaching them.
Ninja opens up the box anyway. "These make your game so tight, you can't lose."
"Ninja!" Kunoichi exclaims at him.
"Yoink!" He punches a box and pulls out a pair. "Those are tiny," He pulls at the pants slightly. "How am I supposed to put those on?"
"You don't, now put 'em back before we get captured by McFist!" Kunoichi hisses at Ninja.
"I mean, just look at 'em, they're-"
"NINJA!" She screams at the boy.
"I'm comin', I'm comin'," He sweats nervously from her tone, rushing outside and closing the door. The robo-apes crash into the door, falling into a heap. McFist and Viceroy run up to the pile.
"The Ninja stole my McHuggers!" McFist screams at Viceroy.
"Looks like we're one short short," Viceroy laughs at his joke, and one robo-ape lifts himself up to laugh.
"Don't," McFist warns them. "Nobody laugh. Don't encourage him."
The two partners slide to a stop at a bus stop, transforming back. They swing around to land on in the sidewalk just as the bus arrives. They enter, sitting side-by-side in the back seat. Amy crosses her arms, a look of disapproval on her face.
"You really shouldn't have stole those McHuggers, Randy. What if McFist finds out that you as Randy have them?"
"Relax, it'll be fine," He pats her shoulder. "It's not like he can track me down now. If anything, his robots fell in front of the door."
"Yeah, you say that now," She mutters to herself. Both of their Nomicons flash, and they pull them out from their pockets. Randy pokes a sleeping passenger in front of them, and thankfully they were put in a bus where no one's paying much attention.
"Let's make this quick, Nomicons. We only got two more stops," They open up their books and lean back in their chairs.
They spin around in a spiral once inside, and find themselves falling through the sky. The clouds pass by and they find themselves standing in front of a doodle samurai sleeping. Nearby is a jar of gold. Two Ninjas appear around the corner, one a Ninja and the other a Kunoichi, and wiggle their fingers. They take some, but their hands are too big to get out. The words appear around the two.
"A Ninja's hand is to give, not to take. Give? I'm not giving McFist anything," He swats away the words, only holding up the K. "That guy's an evil shoob," He throws down the letter.
"Why don't you stop being stubborn and just give up the pants?" Amy crosses her arms at him. "They come out tomorrow!"
"No!" He replies defiantly, looking at the samurai. He wakes up and sees the two Ninjas. He stands up with a roar and is about to finish them off. The two get lifted up into the air and disappear within the clouds.
Randy and Amy wake up, only for him to be met with a sleeping man leaning against him. "Excuse me, this is, uh...this is our stop, so..." He grabs Amy's hand and runs off. The passenger falls off and lands on the ground.
"Let's give a big Norrisville welcome to...Pitch Kickham!" Principal Slimovitz announces, the students cheering as he runs onto the field. He kicks around the soccer ball, waving to the crowd. He then faces the goal, where Bucky is standing with gloves on.
"Mr. Kickham," The band boy waves eagerly. "Riding in a limo with you has been a lifelong goal." He then chuckles at the joke. "Soccer zing!"
Ptch kicks it and it hits Bucky in the gut, sending him into the net. Then he flies forward, landing on the grass so roughly, mud gets into his mouth.
"Goal!" Kickham exclaims, running around and taking his shirt off. He spins it around and then slides towards Bucky. The crowd blinks at what just happened, Flute Girl giggling like a fangirl. Principal Slimovitz does the same, fainting onto the ground.
Kickham glances around at the silent crowd, realizing that he might've gone a bit too far with that victory dance.
"Sorry. Force of habit," He puts his shirt back on. "Who's next?"
Crickets chirp as the other people in line are a bit nervous to take on the Pitch Kickham. A student even faints out of fear, Amy and Randy staring at the line. They go all the way to the end and find Howard still leaning against the wall.
"Ugh! There you are. Why are you all the way at the end of the line?"
"I can lean, or I can move up," Howard replies slowly. "Turns out I'm a leaner." Amy runs a hand through her hair, annoyed. She should've expected this. "What's with the street clothes?" He slightly lifts up Amy's skirt and she smacks his hand away. "You can't block Kickham in streets. If you ruin our limo ride to the airport, Smith, so help me..."
"Howard, I can either win this for you in my street clothes, or you can do this yourself," She smirks in amusement. "Turns out I can just leave right now-"
"No, please don't, you're our only chance!" He kneels in front of her, tugging at her skirt. Amy glances over her shoulder as some people are staring. "I'll take it back!"
"No you won't," His friends reply in unison and he stands up, back to normal.
"Glad we've established that."
"Relax, baby. Look what I got," Randy takes a hold of his pants.
"No, no, I don't wanna look," Howard squeezes his eyes shut, Amy covering her eyes. Randy rips off his pants to reveal McHuggers. The obese boy gasps sharply at the sight of them. "Are those..."
"McHuggers. My game's so tight I can't lose," Randy crosses his arms smugly.
"So Bruce!" Howard exclaims in awe, standing back up. Randy smirks smugly. "How'd you get 'em?"
"Oh, he stole 'em from McFist," Amy glances at Randy with a glare. "Even though I told him not to."
"It's fine," Randy waves it off and she rolls her eyes.
"And what was with that question you asked before we had to go deal with the robo-apes?" Amy demands to Howard.
"What? It was an honest question," Howard shrugs carelessly. "You two have been 'will they' or 'won't they' for months. Just go on a date already with Smith, Cunningham."
"What?" Amy's eyes widen in alarm, Randy gasping.
"He's been acting all wonk about it and I keep telling him-"
"What? No, no, what-what-what-WHAAAA!" Amy covers her eyes out of embarrassment, her entire face red. "Okay, um, I'm gonna go get changed," She runs towards the girls' locker room, bumping into the door. She then pushes it open and runs inside.
Randy turns to glare at Howard. "Somebody had to say it."
"It's a soccer ball. I don't get it," McFist states simply at the soccer ball right in front of their feet.
"It's a thematically camouflaged 'ID bot' programmed to find the only person wearing the McHuggers," Viceroy explains to him.
"...Still not getting it."
"Find the McHuggers, find the Ninja," Viceroy puts it simply.
"I love it! ID bot, activate." It does nothing and he stares at it in confusion.
"You have to use this," Viceroy holds up a phone, and McFist almost breaks his hand grabbing it.
"ID bot, activate." Still nothing from the soccer ball robot.
"You gotta swipe it," Viceroy elaborates to him.
"I know that," McFist smacks the drink into his hands and swipes downwards. ID bot activates as a tiny crack opens up in the floor. It falls right into the field from the school, McFist flying off. ID bot lands in a pile of soccer balls for Kickham. The only difference between the two is that ID bot blinks while the other soccer balls do not.
"So you stole them from McFist," Howard states to Randy, starting to agree with Amy.
"Took them from McFist. It's totally different. And you're missing the point. With these sick shorts, I'll own this 'tish. It'll be you, me, Kicks and the open road."
"Is 'tish' short for competition?" Howard raises a brow at the term.
"Yeah. Too much?" Randy stares down at him.
"No, I like it," Howard smiles eagerly. "Provided that Smith can win this thing."
"I hope she's not bailing," The taller boy frowns in worry. "Because of you, she's all embarrassed now!"
"No, because of you not asking her out, she's embarrassed," Howard points up at his friend.
"Howard!" Randy snaps at him. "It's complicated, okay? You wouldn't understand."
"You're right, I don't," Howard crosses his arms. "Besides, she's being a wonk over nothing and she'll realize it soon enough to do this for us!"
"You shouldn't have said that in front of her," Randy points at his chest. "It was a personal matter, Howard!"
"Puhlease," He waves it off, hands on his hips. "Your fault for being a shoob and not asking a simple question."
Randy grunts, clenching his fists in annoyance. The door suddenly opens to reveal Amy in the school's soccer team uniform, her hair in a high ponytail.
"See? What'd I tell ya?" Howard gestures to her as she walks up to the line, her back turned on them.
"Um...Ames, are you okay?" Randy asks the girl gently.
"Ask me again after I get this over with," She deadpans without even turning around. She refuses to look him in the eye right now, or Howard for that matter. Him saying that out loud so casually was so embarrassing...
"Searching McHuggers," ID bot rolls onto the grass, going up to a girl. Kickham waves to the students, throwing the ball in front of him. ID bot opens up a white circle to reveal a scanner. "Searching McHuggers." It scans the girl and she's not wearing them obviously. "Not McHuggers."
The robot rolls away just as Kickham kicks the ball into the girl, sending her past the net and still flying. "Goal!"
"You can do this," Howard says behind Amy. "You can block that shot, you've been on the soccer team for months!" He turns her around, gripping her by her shirt. Flute Girl is taken away on a gurney, Amy biting her lip. "Pain only lasts a second...and think of it this way, at least Cunningham will date a winner," He nudges Randy, who glares at him.
"Will you stop?" He hisses at his friend as Amy covers her nose, blushing deeply. "You're embarrassing her all over again."
"She's fine!" Howard insists just as another ball is kicked.
"Goal!"
Another student is taken away on a gurney and Howard grips Amy by the collar again. "Limo rides to the airport last ten minutes."
"Goal!"
Another student goes past them and Howard shakes Amy roughly. "Don't wonk this up for us, Smith! I mean it!"
"Howard, stop!" Randy pulls Howard away from her as she slides onto the ground, blood seeping from behind her hands. "Ames, you okay?"
"Ah," She turns away so she won't have to look at him. Just the constant embarrassment Howard is giving right now is taking a toll on her brain...so much that her nose is bleeding.
"Ames?" Randy asks gently as Howard glares at her. "Howard, now look what you did!"
"Me?! She should've just kept it in until after she had her turn! Now she can't compete!"
"I'm so sorry," Randy frowns as he hands Amy a tissue. She wipes off her nose.
"It's okay..." She finally murmurs quietly. "You're gonna have to take my place, Ran. I can't compete like this."
"Thanks a lot, Smith," Howard crosses his arms.
"Maybe if you had just shut up, I wouldn't be like this!" She whips around to him with a glare.
"Searching McHuggers," Randy turns to the entrance, where the ball is scanning everyone in line. "Not McHuggers."
A student steps up and gets flown across the grass. "Searching McHuggers. Not McHuggers."
"Howard, Ames, do soccer balls usually talk?" Randy asks curiously.
"Don't know," Howard shrugs at him. "Not really a sports guy."
"No, soccer balls don't talk," Amy sighs as Randy gives her another tissue.
"And why is it trying to find McHuggers. They don't go on sale till tomorrow." Her eyes widen as she looks at Randy. "I mean, no one's got them but...me! It's not looking for the shorts. It's looking for the Ninja."
"Searching McHuggers. Searching McHuggers," Id Bot scans the students in front of it.
The two bots jump around in alarm. "Take 'em off. Take 'em off now!"
Randy tries to pull them off, but gets his hands stuck in his hands. "McHuggers too tight, hands stuck." Howard gasps as Amy glances to the robot. He then jumps and pins Randy to the wall so that he could help.
"Tight shorts..."
Flute Girl appears and they freeze as she stares at them. "S'up?" Howard asks her casually.
"Hey," Randy blinks at her, feeling a bit awkward. More than Amy was before she changed clothes...
"You guys are idiots. Amy, what do you see in Randy?" She walks off and Amy groans, hanging her head.
"Why are people being like this today...?"
"I gotta get outta here," Randy walks down the hall. Amy slowly stands up, wiping her nose clean.
"Good news. The medical staff informs me there's enough bandages and ice packs for one final contestant," The principal announces from the speaker. Howard runs up to the front, and he's the only one around now. "Nobody?"
It's dead silence from the students. "Alright, I guess Pitch Kickham rides alone~"
"I may not be a sports guy, but sweet cheese, I am a limo guy," He takes a pair of goalie gloves and hands them out to the retreating Amy. "Smith? Last chance! Come on girl, come on!"
She simply glares at him and walks off down the hall. "Fine!"
The ID bot scans him. "Not McHuggers." Howard runs off with gloves on.
Randy runs up to the door, but both of his hands are stuck in his pants. "Doorknob...need hands."
"Preferably sooner than later," Amy points down the hall at the ID bot approaching. It rolls to a stop near them and Randy tries to get the doorknob with his legs.
"No!" Randy exclaims, turning around and trying to open the door that way. The ID bot comes to a stop in front of them. "No, no, no, no, no, no!"
"Searching McHuggers." It starts to scan Randy.
Amy panics and kicks away the ball. It ends up out in the field, right in front of Kickham. "Searching McHuggers." It scans Kickham, McFist's eyes going wide from his seat. "McHuggers found."
Viceroy looks at the McFist Pad and they see the soccer star on the device. "Pitch Kickham's the Ninja?' McFist asks in confusion.
"No, but he is wearing McHuggers," The evil scientist points to the McFist Pad. "Which is something I had not considered."
"You didn't 'consider' that the spokesperson for McHuggers would be wearing McHuggers when you created an unstoppable McHugger-seeking robot?" McFist asks him in disbelief. The bot fires and Kickham screams, running away from ID bot. "Not your best plan, Viceroy."
"Don't you mean your plan?" Viceroy retorts as he crosses his arms. Usually, McFist would take credit for his plans.
"Ho-ho! Not this time, buddy," McFist replies, crossing his arms in anger. "Not this time."
"Move," Amy slightly pushes Randy away and opens up the door.
"This football's shooting lasers at me!" Kickham screams as he runs past the entrance.
"Everyone relax. When Mr. Kickham says 'football,' he actually means 'soccer' ball," Mr. Slimovitz corrects him. "Also, RUN!"
"Looks like I'm going hands-free," Randy quips and Amy facepalms with a small smile. He turns around to get his mask. Amy gets hers out and they throw them into the air together. The masks land over their faces.
Kickham is still running from the ID bot when two clouds appear in front of him. "Smoke bomb!" Ninja is standing there with his hands in his pockets while Kunoichi is standing next to him. "Need a hand?"
Kickham turns around to them. "Actually, you can't use your hands. I know a lot of Americans don't follow the game, but-"
"It's a figure of speech, dude," Ninja interrupts him.
"Meaning do you need some help with-" A laser flies past them and they look at the soccer ball bot. "Well, that." She grabs Kickham and pulls him out of the way.
"Ninja kick!" Ninja kicks the ball into the air, and it zips past the net, flying into the air.
"What the juice? It can fly?!" Kunoichi screeches as it fires at them again, flying towards them.
"Why is that ball so angry at me?" Kickham calls out to the duo. Kunoichi gives Ninja a knowing look.
"I don't know. Beats me. Some questions have no answers. That's what I've found," Ninja says quickly as they run away from the flying soccer ball. Ninja pushes Kickham to the side, his partner flipping out of the way.
"What do you know? The Ninja and Kunoichi did show up. My plan worked," McFist grins at Viceroy.
"So it's your plan again," Viceroy raises a brow at him.
"IT WAS ALWAYS MY PLAN!"
They jump at opposite sides as the soccer ball bot fires at the grass. Kunoichi rolls to a stop, looking up at the ID bot. "Guys, look out!"
Kickham turns around and sees that it's heading right towards him. "Ninja header!" Ninja jumps in front of him and hits it with his head, though it's made of metal. "Ow!" They look up at the sky where it disappears and then flies towards them.
"Pitch Kickham scissor kick!" He kicks it into the air and it flies in Howard's direction, getting his attention.
"Ball! You can do this, Howard. This is your limo moment. Block that shot. Block that shot." He holds out his hands to catch it.
"Block that shot!" The students cheer along with Howard. "Block that shot!" Howard waves around his arms as he tries to deduce where it's gonna go. "Block that shot!" He starts sweating, feeling the pressure. "Block that shot! Block that shot!"
At last minute, he braces himself, but the ID bot just rolls to a stop in front of him. "Block that shot!"
"Hmm?" He opens his eyes and simply grabs the robot ball. "Huh."
The crowd cheers for him, clapping for his technical win. No one said there had to be a time limit to catch the ball...
"I did it. I beat Kickham!" Howard cheers, holding the ball over his head. It beeps and then separates to fire lasers again. He shouts in alarm, waving it around. He hits the mascot, causing the crowd to gasp. Doug comes out of the suit perfectly fine, but is nevertheless traumatized... "What do I do?"
"Well, for one," Kunoichi starts off, and he points the ball at her. She yelps as she jumps backwards, doing a dance of some sorts. "You could point that thing at a controlled distance, ya shoob!"
"She's right, stop pointing it at stuff!" Ninja shouts at him in a panic. He finally holds it up into the air, grinning sheepishly at the glaring Kunoichi.
"It's been an honor sharing the pitch with you, Ninja and Kunoichi," Kickham holds out his hand to the two. Kunoichi smiles and grabs his hand, shaking it.
"I'm a big fan, Mr. Kickcham. And it was great working with you too."
Ninja's pants squeak as he tries to get them free. Kunoichi simply stares at him.
"Um, you too, Pitch Kickham," Ninja holds out his foot to the soccer star.
"Is this a Ninja thing?" He couldn't help but ask as he shakes the foot.
"Oh, not at all," Kunoichi crosses her arms, giving Ninja a look. "Far from it, actually."
"Is that a Ninja thing?" McFist asks in confusion, seeing the display.
"Mm, looks to me like he's got his hands stuck in his McHuggers," Viceroy comments knowingly.
"Excellent. This is the perfect time for phase 2! Or Plan B or whatever else I got cooked up here."
"I supposed you could release your robo-hooligans," Viceroy suggests, sipping his drink.
"RELEASE THE ROBO-HOOLIGANS!" McFist screams at the evil scientist. He watches Viceroy pull out his phone. "You have to swipe it."
"Actually, this one is a button," Viceroy corrects him.
"THEN PUSH IT!"
Something whirrs nearby, getting their attention. "Umm, what is that?" Kunoichi asks slowly.
"I don't know, you're the smart one," Ninja stares at the back of her head. A few holes appear in the grass, and robots appear. They turn around to the three. "Uh oh."
"Major uh oh," Kunoichi agrees with him as they back up slowly. McFist laughs from his spot above them.
"That's what happens when you steal McHuggers."
"You just had to steal those pants," Kunoichi turns to Ninja in annoyance. He looks up at the businessman. Doodle underpants appear around McFist.
"A Ninja's hand is to give, not to take. Alright! Stealing is stealing, even if it's from my enemy," Ninja finally admits to her. Now how do I get my hands free?"
The doodle arrows appear, pointing to Kickham's pants. "Hey! So let's say hypothetically my hands were stuck in, oh I don't know, a pair of McHuggers," He speaks up to Kickham. "Any thoughts on how i'd get them out?"
"Hypothetically?" Kickham turns to him, raising a brow.
"No, actually."
"It's a long story that we don't have time to tell," Kunoichi glances between them and the robots.
"Oh, there's a release lever in the left-hand pocket. Did you not read the instructions when you bought them?"
"I didn't exactly-" Ninja finally gets his hands free. "You know what? Can we just fight?" He pulls out his sword.
"About time," Kunoichi pulls out her fans. The robots charge at them and Ninja jumps into the air, doing a split kick at two of them. He spins around and slices off some heads. A fan is thrown at the other two nearby and he looks to see Kunoichi catching one with a smirk behind her mask. He lands in front of four others and Kunoichi flips behind two of them, spinning her leg around to knock them off her feet. She then slices off their arms. The two are suddenly surrounded, and they leap into the air, slicing two in three whole parts. They continue slicing off robots and they narrow their eyes at a few others, standing side-by-side.
"Bring it," Kunoichi holds up a hand, waving it forward at 'come at us' gesture. Another one charges at them and Kunoichi kicks it into the air. Ninja spins around and kicks it into another one. With his scarf, he throws one robot into the other. Kunoichi releases her hair, throwing it at a robot. She captures one, but it grips her hair, pulling her forward.
"Hey!"
Ninja narrows his eyes and jumps onto her hair, running across it and slicing the robot into parts. They nod to each other and kick two more.
"Ninja Slice!" Ninja slices one in half. "Wow. That was a lot of hooligans."
"Nothing we couldn't handle," Kunoichi smiles a bit, gathering up her white hair. They turn to the field, where more robots appear.
"Uh, Ninja, Kunoichi. Don't forget them," Howard calls out, pointing ID bot at them, and then they fall into pieces on the grass. Some of them even blow up, and the crowd cheers.
"That's one powerful laser," Kunoichi's eyes widen. If any of them were hit, that could've been them!
"Whoa!" Howard exclaims, holding it up in the air again. "What do I do with this thing?"
"Throw it in," Ninja calls out to him. Howard throws the ball over to them. "Ninja ID bot slice!" The two jump into the air and cut the bot in half. It falls and explodes, Ninja and Kunoichi landing near McFist. "I believe these belong to you," Ninja slips off the McHuggers and throws them into McFist's hands.
"Ew!" He throws them away as they're stained.
"That's nasty, baby."
"Mr. Kickham!" Ninja runs up to the soccer star. "I was wondering if..." He whispers into Kickham's ear, and he nods in agreement.
And so, the three friends ride away in the limo with Kickham. "Just think, Howard, none of this would've happened if I hadn't endangered international soccer superstar Pitch Kickham's life."
"Uh, actually, none of this would've happened if I hadn't caught that ball," Howard grins at Randy.
"Uh, actually actually, none of this would've happened if I hadn't stolen those McHuggers," Randy contradicts him.
"Guys," Amy speaks up across from them. "Come on, it doesn't matter."
"Okay, so we're all heroes," Howard admits, all of them clinking sodas. "Me more than you," He mutters into his drink.
"What was that?" The two turn to him accusingly and he ignores them.
"Yo, Kicks, how long till the airport?"
Kickham puts down the glass to look at them from the driver's seat. "Five minutes. Man, I love driving these things." He then puts up the glass.
"Another McBubble Slam, my good man?"
"Don't mind if I do," Howard smiles at him.
"Thanks guys, but you didn't really need to bring me too," Amy raises a brow at them.
"Sure I did!" Randy grins at her. "We're all in this together, Ames. And consider it a thank you slash apology," He gives Howard a look.
She smiles too, sipping her soda.
They wave to Kickham as they watch him drive away from Howard and Amy's street. "Well, I'm goin' in for a nap," Howard walks off to his house. "See ya."
"Later Howard," Randy waves to him and Amy steps up towards her house. He stares at her, wondering if she still felt embarrassed.
"Hey Ames, are you okay?" Randy asks in concern. "You seemed pretty out of it today because of, uh, certain topics."
"Oh...that?" She frowns, turning around to him. "Listen, I'm really sorry I reacted like that. I just...get so embarrassed about stuff like that. Then it got to be too much that I...had a nosebleed. And in retrospect, it wasn't cool of me. I-I mean, it's not like I don't want to...go on a date with you, it's just that, um..."
"...Things..." He glances away knowingly with a sheepish smile. And by things, they mean McFist and the Sorcerer.
"And stuff..." She whistles slightly, trying to break the tension. "Ran, I…" She opens her mouth to say something, but clamps her mouth shut. There was so much she wanted to say, but nothing could come out. "Uh, never mind."
"Umm...so I'll see you tomorrow?" He smiles weakly at her.
"Yeah..." She steps inside her house, taking a deep breath. Randy does the same and starts walking home.
He reaches his house and goes up to his room, shutting the door behind him. He then takes a moment to think.
"...I am such a SHOOB! I had that moment to ask her out, argh!" Randy chastises himself.
"I can't believe this, I had a chance to confess my feelings to him!" Amy holds her head in her bedroom, eyes wide. Randy screams in frustration while Amy grabs a pillow and screams into it. She falls onto her bed in despair.
Oh well...maybe someday...
