(5 Years After Weirdmageddon)

A tall 17-year-old teen known as Mason 'Dipper' Pines walked out of the bedroom, holding a stack of boxes, only for him to be heard tumbling downstairs. "Dang it! My books!" Mabel Pines, his sibling, poked her head out from her doorway. "You okay, bro-bro?" she said. "Yeah, I'm fine." he replied before trying to aggressively shove his things back into the boxes. Mabel walked down the stairs to help him. "I can't believe we're heading out for college!" she exclaimed.

"Yep!" said Dipper as he stacked his boxes back up and continued to bring them out to the trunk of the car, Mabel following him. "Hours of countless studying, here I come!" he said in a slightly sarcastic tone. "Ha! Remember when we were excited about learning trigonometry before Weirdmageddon happened? If anything's true, triangles are my least favorite shape now!" his sister chimed in enthusiastically. Dipper gently placed the remaining boxes down before the look on his face changed. "Yeah… WeirdmageddonBill Cipher…" Mabel walked over and put her hand on his shoulder, trying to comfort him. "Hey, it's over, okay? There's nothing to worry about. I'm sure our sixth summer in Gravity Falls will be fine. But in the meantime, we have dorm rooms to get to! Onward, Captain!"

"And we're here!" Mabel proclaimed excitedly, waving her arms around. "Y-yeah! Argh!" said Dipper as he heavily slammed the boxes on top of the bed, panting. "Geez, Mabes, how much stuff did you bring?!" he finally replied after catching his breath. And he still had his stuff to bring up to his room as well. "At least I won't be bored, Dipping Sauce!" He threw his car keys in the air and then caught them. "Well, I gotta go. You're not the only one moving in. I'll video call you on DistantChat early in the morning tomorrow, okay?"

"See you later!" Mabel waved at him and the twins smiled at each other as Dipper walked out.

It had been a long day - that was no doubt. Dipper collapsed on the bed after he had finally finished unpacking and tidying up his room. The warm, bright orange hues of light of the evening sunset seeped through the crystal clear window and casted itself upon him. He closed his eyes for a moment, taking a few deep breaths and relaxing. He originally had planned to jolt back up and get busy with the student orientation video that was required, but he soon dozed off into sleep…

When Dipper opened his eyes he was in the forests of Gravity Falls. The grass felt smooth beneath his shoes, but it wasn't nerve-calming. Because the world around him was monochrome, covered in the dull grey shades. This only meant one thing. It was him.

Dipper didn't have to wait for him to come randomly poofing into existence right in front of him just to give him a mental heart attack, because right when he opened his mouth to yell, 'Show yourself!' he heard the familiar echoey, demonic voice directly from behind him. Almost too close. The boy flinched, then turned around to face the dang triangle. "So, how ya doing, Pine Tree? How's your family? Friends? Life? College?" When he said the last word, Dipper knew he had obviously been watching him for some time now. He looked confused for a moment before pushing away his shock. "Uh… why are you here and what do you want with me?!" Bill floated around to his side and put his arm around his shoulder. "Can't I check on an old friend?" he exclaimed, amused by Dipper's alarm and disarray. The teen was obviously boiling with uncomfortableness since he was so close to the insane dream demon who had tried to destroy the world and his family.

Luckily for him, the being quickly floated away from him and flipped out his cane from out of nowhere, leaning on it. "What- where- How are you still alive?! Why are you still here?!" Dipper said, trying to sound courageous and confident, and failing miserably. Anxiety and nervousness was eating at his very soul inside him like acid rain. He was desperately yelling at himself mentally for him to wake up right now. The dream demon immediately burst into an outfit of hysterical laughter at his question. "Can't tell ya that one, Pine Tree! But, here's a warning." His tone suddenly grew serious. "That statue is the only thing preventing me from entering the physical realm, and once I finally get some meatsack to shake my hand-" He began to turn crimson red. "-I'm going to paint the walls of my Fearamid with your blood and use your organs as trophies!" he yelled, voice booming. His brain was now on full alert mode, and the adrenaline began to rush through his veins as his flight or fight response began to kick in.

Dipper woke up drenched in sweat in the bed. He looked at the clock; 6 AM. Well, he did say he was going to call his sister early, so… He opened his laptop and quickly clicked on his sister's name. The dang thing rang four times before she finally picked up - he didn't think she would pick up at all.

"Dip, I appreciate your eagerness but it's like six in the morning." she said, yawning.

"Mabel, we have to leave. Now."
