Seth drove into the parking lot and parked the car. Another hotel in another town. Eden no longer kept up with where they were. She hadn't done so since she felt the change begin in Seth. She made it easier for both of them by not questioning him. She knew her place.

"What a nice hotel. We sure have been upgraded since I joined the Authority. Don't you just love it, babe?" He asked.
"Yes," she answered.

She didn't love any of it. She didn't love him like she used to either. She feared him now. At least it was only the two of them in the car. The Authority didn't drive with them.

"Let's check in," he said.

They got out of the car and he opened the trunk. She grabbed her backpack that had her most trusted items. Among those was her laptop.

"Seth?" She asked nervously.
"What?" He asked.
"Would you mind if I take a walk around this city to find inspiration for my comic?" She asked.

It was the one thing he had never denied her. She wrote an online comic. It was popular. It was her job, and he would never mess with that. He knew she was talented.

"Of course not," he said. "As long as you make it to the arena before the show starts."
"I'll be there," she said.
"I know," he said.

He leaned down and kissed her before grabbing both of their suitcases.

"Anything you need in your suitcase before you go?" He asked.
"I got what I need in my backpack," she said.
"Let's check in so you got your key card just in case," he said.

She spent a couple of hours walking around. There was always inspiration to find somewhere. During the afternoon she found a coffee bar where she could sit and work a bit while enjoying a coffee and a sandwich. She had just finished eating when Seth called her. He never called her unless it was important.

"Hello?" She asked.
"How fucking dare you?" He growled.

She had no idea why he was so angry. She knew better than to say anything. He would continue on his own when he was this angry.

"I was watching the replay from Raw, and guess what I saw," he said.
"I don't know," she said.

She honestly had no idea. She couldn't recall anything being on the monitor that could make him angry with her.

"While I was in the ring with Cole, they showed a clip of Roman and Dean watching. And where were they watching from, Eden? From our fucking locker room!" He yelled. "You let them in there, you little slut! You better get to the arena right fucking now!"

He hung up. She looked around and realized people were staring at her. He had been yelling so loud that everyone around her had been able to hear it. Tears ran down her cheeks. She quickly closed her laptop, stuffed it in her backpack and ran out of the coffee shop.

She didn't know where she was going but it sure wasn't the arena. Seth scared her more than anything these days, and his anger had just reached new heights. She didn't know what he would do to her but she didn't plan to find out. She needed to get away.

"Would you rather break Seth's nose or legs?" Dean asked.
"Come on," Roman chuckled. "This game is for children."
"Yeah, you're right. I'd totally break both legs and his nose," Dean grinned.

Roman's phone started ringing. He took it out of his back pocket and furrowed his brows by the name flashing across the screen.

"What?" Dean asked.
"It's Eden," Roman said.
"Well, answer it," Dean said.

Roman hit the green button and put the phone to his ear.

"Eden?" He asked.
"Roman!" She cried.
"Hey, what's wrong?" He asked.
"I can't... I can't..." She stuttered. "I can't do this anymore, Roman. I'm afraid what he'll do to me. It's probably better if I end it all, isn't it?"

He stood up fast. Dean jumped up too when he saw the look on Roman's face.

"Where are you?" Roman demanded to know. "I'm coming right now so tell me where you are."
"I don't know. Some bridge. I don't even know what town I'm in," Eden said.
"Bridges in this town?" Roman looked at Dean.
"There's only one," Dean said.
"We're on our way, Eden. Stay where you are. Don't do anything stupid. I'm coming for you," Roman said.

Dean drove them to the bridge. She was standing in the middle of it looking down at the water below.

"Shit!" Roman hissed. "Is it legal to stop on a bridge?"
"I don't give a fuck," Dean said.

Dean stopped the car and Roman jumped out of it. Eden turned around and let herself fall into his arms. She started sobbing into his hoodie. He held her close and pulled her to the car. He got her in on the back seat and followed right after. He continued to hold her close as Dean started driving away.

"What the hell happened?" Dean asked.
"He saw you in the locker room. He thinks I let you in there while he was gone. He was angry," Eden said.
"We barged in there," Dean said.
"He doesn't know that. He'll never believe me," Eden said. "He... He..."
"What does he do?" Roman asked. "Does he beat you?"
"No," Eden said. "Not really."
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Roman asked.

Eden pulled out of Roman's arms. She might as well show him. She pulled her jacket and cardigan down to show the bruise from Seth's hand when he squeezed her way too tight on Raw.

"Motherfucker!" Roman growled.
"He wasn't always like this," Eden cried. "You know that, Roman. He didn't use to be like this. Something changed in him, and I don't know what. He scares me."
"How long?" Roman asked.
"About two months," Eden answered. "I should have told you. Maybe you could have saved him."
"There's no saving an asshole like him," Dean said.
"Drive to the hotel. She can stay in our room. He won't find her there," Roman said.
"What about my stuff?" Eden asked.

Eden found the key card in her backpack and handed it to Roman. He sneered at the name of the expensive hotel. He handed it to Dean up front so he could take a look at it too.

"Damn, does it come with free champagne? I've always wanted to know," Dean said.
"Drive there first. Seth's at the arena. We can get her stuff without him knowing," Roman said.

Dean drove to the hotel and parked. He turned in the seat to look at them.

"I'm on it," Dean said. "How does your bag look?"
"Army green suitcase," Eden said.
"Leave the key card in the room so he gets the message that she's really gone," Roman said.

Dean got out of the car and ran towards the hotel. Roman took Eden's hand and looked at her.

"It's gonna be okay. I'll help you," he said.
"Was it something I did?" She asked.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"Seth changed. Was it my fault? Did I do something wrong?" She asked.
"No, you didn't," he sighed. "Seth changed because he wanted to change. I always felt this dark side in him that he struggled to keep within. I figured your love kept that demon at bay."
"Didn't I love him enough?" She asked.

He wrapped his arms around her again. All the tears she kept spilling over an asshole like Seth Rollins. The man wasn't worth it.

"I was wrong," he said. "I thought your love was enough, but I was wrong. You loved him more than enough. He was the one not loving you enough. He didn't love any of us the way he claimed. He's the only one to blame."
"I'm scared, Roman. He scares me so much. I've been wanting to leave for a long time now but I'm too afraid," she said.
"Not anymore," he said. "You're out now. I'm not letting you go back there."
