I was alone again, but this summer was worse. I didn't have Draco visiting me anymore.
I hear the doorbell ring. I open it to find Susan in tears. We just got sent home a day ago.
"Susie, what's wrong?" I ask.
"Aunt Amelia...gone." she whispered.
Her aunt was the only living family member left who hasnt been killed.
"Let's talk about this inside." I say.
We take a seat on the couch.
"What happened?" I ask.
"I-I came h-home, and she normally is waiting for me when I get back. B-but this time she wasnt. I looked all over the house for her, and once I r-reached her bedroom, I saw her laying on the floor, d-dead." she wailed.
I hated seeing her like this.
"I took the Night Bus here, because I didnt feel safe. Th-the Ministry is trying to find wh-who did it."
I gave her a hug.
"We can sit here as long as you want." I say softly.
And we did.
The next day O.W.L.S. results came in. Susan did well in everything besides Care for Magical Creatures. She was afraid of most of them. I got mostly A's and E's. I got a P in History of Magic, but that class puts anyone to sleep. I got an O in Charms.
"Yay! We both passed! We have to celebrate!" Susan squealed.
She was in a much better mood, but still kinda off.
"What should we do?" I ask.
"I dunno, let's stay here though. The news about my Aunt traveled fast. We could have a cute picnic!"
Susan loved picnics.
"Sure!"
The weather didnt agree though. It started to rain.
"Shoot! We have to get everything inside!" I say.
By the time we got everything inside, we were drenched. I stepped into the rain, and splashed in puddles.
"Come on, Sue, its fun!" I laugh.
"Okay..." she reluctantly stepped out.
Soon enough, she was having as much fun as me. We splashed and danced in the rain for what seemed like hours.
