Above Atollon in a CR90 corvette, Sabine was sitting in a prison cell across from Fenn Rau, who had ginger hair as they were playing a Mandalorian holographic game called cubikahd or cu'bikad in Mando'a with Chopper projecting it from outside the cell with two rebel troopers guarding the Protector's cell.
"Blade to cube face four?" Ray scoffed, "That's a showy move. You play with too much bravado."
"Strategy is an art, Rau," she told him, "Maybe I'm lulling you into a false sense of security."
"There's nothing false about it," Rau chuckled, "Blade to face cube two." As he said that, one of the red colored blades on the cube moved to a square shaped tile behind where it originated. "I win. I'll bet your game has slipped since you left Mandalore and gained a twin sister from an Inquisitor who used the Force on one of your friends. Why do you keep coming back here? You, your sister and rebel friends have imprisoned me. My protectors have orders to give you safe passage through our space. What more do you want?"
"Reset the board, Chop," Sabine told Chopper who grunted as he rest the cu'bikad board as it's spades hovered over the middle of the board's side as she explained to Rau why she keeps coming to him, "I want the same thing we've always wanted. For you and your protectors to join us, to fight the Empire."
"I made a deal with the Empire. I made a deal with your Rebellion to survive. But joining you?" He said in disbelief, "My only true loyalty is to Mandalore."
"Well, I'll keep trying," Sabine vowed.
"I admire your persistence, Sabine Wren," Rau admired, "You and your sister, Ezra could have been a Protector, if not for your traitorous past along with her being your sister."
"Oh, not this again," she moaned.
"We can still work together now, if I were free," Rau went on, "Not for the rebels, not for the Empire. For Mandalore."
"Sorry to interrupt playtime, but Hera wants you in the war room for a briefing," Zeb announced from outside the cell, "Both of you." Chopper grunted as he turned off the cu'bikad board as he rolled away following Zeb to the war room.
In the corvette's war room, Hera stood on one side of the holotable with Sato standing next to her while Zeb had his arms crossed as Rau stood next to him with the Mandalorian twins standing next to Rau as Kanan stood across from Hera with Chopper standing next to the Jedi Knight as a hologram of the system of Concord Dawn was projected on the holotable's projector.
"We've lost communications with the Mandalorian base on Concord Dawn," Hera told Sato.
"Rebel leaders are concerned your protectors are setting a trap for us," Sato informed Rau.
"Impossible," Rau said in disbelief, "My men are loyal to my word. Your safe passage through our system is secure. If you've lost communication, something's happened."
"I'll go check it out," Sabine said, volunteering to go to Concord Dawn.
"I should go with you," Rau suggested, "They're my men. I can talk to them."
"Wait. Isn't he our prisoner?" Zeb said with confusion.
"More like a cranky guest," Kanan corrected the lasat.
"He can go, but he stays in binders. Take your sister and Chopper. Do a recon sweep of their base, then come right back," Hera told Sabine, "You are not to land or engage. ANd try not to wreck the Phantom II. We just got that thing."
"Understood," Sabine acknowledged before going to leave with her sister, Chopper and Rau.
Ezra sat across from Rau in the Phantom II which was modified to include hull reinforcements, port and starboard forward cannons, ventral-mounted turrets, and an astromech socket located on the port side of the shuttle after Sabine repainted it white, yellow and red along with a circular symbol on the shuttle's fin as the shuttle entered the system of Concord Dawn. She stared at Rau with him staring back at her for a few moments before she started whistling before getting up as she saw the shattered southern hemisphere of Concord Dawn. "Whoa. What happened?"
"We Mandalorians have endured wars since before the formation of the Republic over 25,000 years ago," Rau told Ezra, "Just as we'll endure the Empire and your Rebellion."
"Too bad our people can't stop fighting each other," Sabine remarked.
"Even though I'm a Mandalorian, I don't get the whole fighting part of our culture," Ezra admitted as she enters the cockpit.
"Ezra, watch him!" Sabine warned her sister as she saw Rau sneaking up behind Ezra.
"What?" She said before being knocked unconscious by Rau as Sabine stood up, retrieving one of her WESTAR-35s from its holster and aimed at him, firing it as he took one of Ezra's from her holster and switched it to stun before firing it at her, stunning Sabine after he got one of his hands free from the binders and sat on the pilots seat as he began to pilot the Phantom II towards Concord Dawn's third moon.
Chopper stood in front of Ezra as he grabbed her nose, pinching it as he pulled her nose towards him.
"Ow. Ow!" She said, grabbing her nose as he hurted it before he hit her on the head before laughing, "Ow, Chopper, knock it off."
"Hey, Sabine?" She called as she noticed that Rau placed his binders on them handcuff them together.
"I'll live," Sabine groaned as she regained consciousness as Chopper used his spark projector to free them from the stuncuffs, "Where's Rau?"
"I don't know, sis, but he's got our WESTAR-35s and my lightsaber," Ezra told her before turning to Chopper, "Hey. Did we land?" Chopper grunted a response, telling them that they did indeed land. The twins then walked out of the shuttle with their helmets over their heads with Chopper following them. The twins saw Rau on top of a cliff above them and climbed up the cliff behind Rau with Chopper following them, Ezra extended her arm forward and used the Force to take one of her WESTAR-35s from Rau's hand and pointed it at him, "Turn around. Slowly." Sabine picks up her WESTAR-35s alongside Ezra's other WESTAR-35 and hands it to her as she places them in her holster.
"Rau?" Sabine called out to the Protector as she knew something was wrong as she and Ezra began to approach him with Ezra aiming her WESTAR-35s at him as they removed their helmets as they saw what he was staring at and saw the Protector's camp was attacked with everyone who were inhibiting it killed. "You're men weren't laying a trap. They were ambushed," Sabine realized before asking the Protector, "The Empire?"
"Not the Empire," Rau dismissed, "Other Mandalorians."
"Precision detonations, laser strikes from above," Rau said as he and the twins who had their helmets back over their heads as they wondered around the camp before he picked up a helmet of one of his protectors which had a blood stain over it, "Definitely a surprise attack by another clan."
"I don't get it," Ezra admitted with confusion, "Why would other clans of our people attack another clan?"
"It's complicated, sis," Sabine told her before turning back to the Protector, "Look, Rau-"
"This is all your fault!" He snapped at her with anger as he turned around towards her, "If I'd been here instead of locked away by you and your rebels, I could have prevented this."
"We didn't mean for this to happen. You know that," Sabine reassured him, " They were our people, too."
"Don't talk to me about you and Ezra's people," he spat at her with anger, "What do you know of loyalty? And does she know anything about our culture?"
"We are not your enemy, Rau," Sabine assured him "And yes, Ezra does know stuff about our culture like the code of honor and I've been teaching her Mando'a. But, none of this makes any sense. Which of the clans has the power to do this? Who would want to? The protectors are loyal to the throne and they recruit the best warriors from within all the clans."
Chopper then activated his radar dish as he picked up a signal in the distance and started grunting.
"Chopper's picking up a signal from over there," Ezra announced and looked around and saw a probe droid.
"It's Imperial," Sabine observed as she placed her helmet back over her head and grabbed one of her WESTAR-35s from her holster on her hip and began firing at it, "It's trying to transmit." As she said that, they went into cover bef de Ezra got out of hiding, extending her arm to grab it with the Force.
"I can't hold it!" Ezra grunted as she struggled to hold the probe droid as her sister started to fire upon the probe droid with her fWESTAR-35.
"Got it," she muttered as she fired her WESTAR-35 at the probe droid again, "I got it!"
"Think it got a signal out?" Ezra asked her sister as she examine the remains of the probe droid that was just destroyed after it fell to the ground.
"Well, we're either fine, or a few Star Destroyers are on their way," Sabine answered, "You wanna wait and see?"
"Good point, Sis," Ezra said, knowing that her sister was right, "We're leaving." Chopper grunted in agreement as he activated his rocket booster as he began to fly away.
"We have to go," Sabine told Rau as she turned to him.
"I have no intention of leaving, and certainly not with you or your sister," Rau told her as he stepped forward.
"The Empire could be on their way right now," she reminded him.
"I've dealt with them before, and I'll deal with them again," Rau stated as he began walking away, "But now, of course, I have the location of your rebel base as a bargaining chip. It's no less than you deserve after causing all this."
"I can't let you do that," Sabine said as she aimed her WESTAR-35 at him after taking it back out of its holster.
Chopper rolled onto the Phantom II as he landed in front of it and saw the cockpit was flashing red as well as a beeping sound from it as well.
"Sabine, wait," Ezra said, trying to stop her sister as she saw her aiming her WESTAR-35 at Rau when suddenly her comlink went off.
"Last chance, Rau," Sabine warned the Protector as Ezra clicked on her helmet's comlink and Chopper grunted through her comlink.
"The Empire? Already?" Ezra said in disbelief as she and her sister flipped their helmets macrobinocular view plates down five humanoid shaped figures flying towards them in all white Mandalorian styled at our with a another one in white armor and red around its shoulders and chest above the humanoid figures as they flew towards the three Mandalorians.
"What are those, flying stormtroopers?" Ezra asked as she and Sabine flipped their helmets macrobinocular view plates back up.
"Worse. They're traitors," Rau said, correcting her, "Mandalorians who serve the Empire."
"Sis, run," Sabine warned her sister as she and Rau began to flee the area with Ezra doing the same going the in opposite direction as her as the flying Mandalorians landed in front of the broken probe droid.
"Spread out," the leader Mandalorian ordered the other Mandalorian super commandos and as he said that, the super commandos began to spread out.
Meanwhile on the Phantom II, Chopper grunted as one of the Imperial super commandos walked up to the astromech as the droid turned around and held his hands up, surrendering to him.
"Stay alert. They're around here somewhere " the leader of the Imperial super commandos said as he and his super commandos continued to patrol the area for rebels. As the leader began to walk by the area where Sabine and Rau were hiding, Ezra pulled out her WESTAR-35s from their holsters and fired them at him, causing him to turn around. "Get her." As he said that, Ezra began to run away with the super commandos and their leader began to chase her.
"Come on," Sabine told Rau, wanting to save her.
"No," Rau protested as he walked backwards, "Her sacrifice saved us. Don't waste it."
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Stop! I give up! Don't shoot!" Ezra pleaded as the super commandos, along with their leader began to surround her.
"We have to help her," Sabine pleaded to Rau as they hid in a corner of a building.
"Think, Sabine," Rau began as he turned towards her, "Your only advantage is that they don't know about you yet."
"You still have her lightsaber," Sabine pointed out.
"That just might save her life," Rau added, "Come. I know a place where we'll be safe and where we can watch them."
"Search the area," the leader of the super commandos ordered as he stood in front of Ezra, "I doubt that she's alone."
"Who are you?" She asked the leader.
"I am Gar Saxon, Imperial Viceroy of Mandalore," he replied as he took his helmet off his head, revealing a middle aged man with caucasian skin tone along with graying hair and grey eyes, "And you Mandalorian rebel, are now my prisoner."
"Who are you, Mandalorian and how many are with you?" Saxon asked Ezra as the super commando who commandeered the Phantom II landed the shuttle outside of the hut where Saxon was interrogating Ezra and began to enter the hut with Chopper.
"I'm nobody and here by myself," she lied as the super commando and Chopper entered the hut with Chopper grunting, "I mean except for my droid, and Uh, he doesn't really count."
"We checked the base," the super commando reported, "No sign of anyone else."
"See?" She stated.
"You'll excuse me if I don't take the word of a Mandalorian rebel spy who looks like Sabine Wren with her natural hair color for some reason."
"Who is this Sabine Wren, you are referring to?" She asked the viceroy of Mandalore, pretending to not know who Sabine was, "And, I'm not part of any rebellion. I'm a Dar'manda. I told you, I'm a scavenger. Part of Hondo Ohnaka's crew. He'll vouch for me."
"Oh, I don't think so," Saxon said, dismissing her claim, "The Empire is fully aware rebels have been using the system as a thruway to avoid patrols in this sector."
"I don't care about that. I just came here looking to salvage some spare parts," she told them.
"Your dealing with your fellow Mandalorians now, girl, not some Imperial officer fresh out of the Academy," Saxon reminded her.
"Look, uh, Saxon, is it? I didn't even know our home planet of Mandalore was part of the Empire," she told him.
"Search her ship," Saxon commanded his super commandos before aiming his blaster rifle at Chopper, "Maybe we'll find the truth there. Until then, perhaps target practice with your droid will encourage you to talk."
"Look, Viceroy, Sir. Shooting at my droid isn't gonna get you any answer," Ezra told Saxon as one of the super commandos left the hut to search the Phantom II for the answers he was searching for.
Meanwhile outside the hut Sabine had her helmet's macrobinocular viewplate down to survey the hut with Rau sitting next to her as she saw one of the super commandos walking towards the Phantom II.
"We're going back," Sabine told Rau.
"For your sister? Rau said in disbelief, "Pawns are meant to be sacrificed."
"Okay. One, she's not a pawn," she told him as she flipped her helmet's macrobinocular viewplate back up, "Two, Ezra can take care of herself. And, three, she's my twin sister. But the Phantom has our base coordinates on board. We cannot let the Empire get their hands on that."
"You think I actually care about her or your rebels?" He scoffed at her, "To think the Protectors fell to these traitors."
"The leader… he looked familiar," Sabine told him.
"He should," Rau stated, "He's Clan Vizsla, like you and Ezra. His name is Gar Saxon. He wanted to be our ruler, but he had no honor."
"That's why the Empire put him in charge," Sabine added.
"You think you and your sister are any better than him," Rau told her, "Everything that's happened here is because of you rebels."
"Okay, look. You may not like it, but right now, we need each other. Help me get my ship, get Ezra, and then we'll all get out of here together," she bargained, "Deal?"
"You want to get yourself killed trying to rescue your sister? Be my guest," Rau stated, "All I care about is making Saxon and his traitors pay. But now is not the time for that."
"Well, I'm not after revenge. Just my sister," Sabine told him.
"I'll tell you the truth. I promise, okay?" Ezra told Saxon after he fired his blaster at a hopper, only for the blaster bolt to miss the droid as he held up his rifle as she sighed, "My name is Satine Kryze, former Duchess of Mandalore and smuggler. I heard there was lost treasure here. I made a deal with pirates, okay? I swear."
"Every lie you tell holds a shred of truth," Saxon informed her as he walked behind her, "You're giving me what I want to know whether you realize it or not."
"You have to believe me," Rau heard Ezra say on his helmet's comm frequency as he put it over his head as he and Sabine hid behind the hut.
"I believe you've run out of lies," Saxon retorted.
"Set frequency to 337," Rau told Sabine.
"Blast the droid," Saxon ordered his super commandos after kicking Ezra in the back as one of the super commandos aimed their blasters at Chopper, "Perhaps its memory circuits hold the secrets I want."
"Okay! Okay!" Ezra said, not wanting them to terminate Chopper and sighed, "I was sent here by the Protector, Fenn Rau."
"You know where he is, then?" He asked her.
"I don't. But I sure wish I did," she answered.
"Is that so?" He inquired with disbelief, "You know, I planned to strike this base and destroy these defiant Protectors for some time. Missing Fenn Rau was disappointing. But his absence did make the destruction of his men… easier, I have been waiting for Rau to return. I only allowed rebel ships to move through Concord Dawn to lure him back. But now, I have you." He then grabbed her by the neck as he picked her up, "And I think you know where exactly Rau is! And you will take me to him."
"He was gonna kill us anyway," Rau said in a saddened tone and expression as he and Sabine removed their helmets.
"Rau, I'm sorry," Sabine told him, feeling bad what happened to his Protectors.
"Had you and your Jedi not captured me, I'd be dead alongside my men, executed by the Empire," Rau sighed as he handed her Ezra's lightsaber, "A truce, then, for now. You go get your sister, I'll secure our ship."
"Thank you," she said as she took her sister's saber from him, "First, let's thin them out and get you a weapon."
"I like the way you think," Rau complimented her as they placed their helmets back over their heads and knocked out two of Saxon's super commandos that were patrolling the area.
"Oh! Been wanting one of these," she chuckled as she took one of the super commandos jetpacks and placed it on her back and grabbed the other one, "Once you get back to the ship, place this jetpack somewhere on the ship, I want to give it to Ezra."
Rau had the jetpack that Sabine planned to give Ezra on his back as he hid behind a building as he held a blaster rifle in his hand as he watched a super commando walk into the Phantom II before sneaking on board the shuttle. As he sneaked up on the super commando as he sat in the seat of the cockpit, the super commando turned around after sensing some sneaking up on him and went to kick him with his knee before head butting Rau with his helmet before dropping his blaster rifle and began to pull his blaster rifle from him before kicking him with his foot, sending the super commando to the ground before punching him, knocking the super commando out.
"Where is he?!" Saxon demanded Ezra after throwing her onto the ground.
"I don't know!" She answered before he grabbed her from the floor and threw her across the room and aimed his blaster at Chopper and fired at him only for the blaster bolt to miss due to Ezra using the Force to deflect the blaster bolt, he went to fire again only for Ezra to use the Force to deflect the blaster bolt again but as she deflected the blaster bolt with the Force Saxon turned to her and saw how her hands were gestured and cocked his blaster rifle as he aimed it at her.
"You just became a much more valuable captive, Mandalorian Jedi," Saxon told her when suddenly detonators were thrown into the room, beeping rapidly, "Get back!"
"I can't see!" One of the super commandos exclaimed as the detonator exploded, causing smoke to fill the room.
"Where's my helmet?" Saxon asked aloud as they all began to cough.
"Get up! Come on!" Sabine said as she reached her sister after getting her sister's helmet and dragged her out of the hut as Ezra began coughing.
"What took you so long?" Ezra asked her.
"I was using strategy. It takes longer," Sabine answered as she handed Ezra's helmet to Chopper who held it in his hand as she ignited Ezra's saber and cut her stuncuffs with it before Chopper handed Ezra her helmet back as she took her lightsaber from Sabine as she placed her helmet over her head. "Rau should already be in the ship."
"Oh, he's in the ship, all right," Ezra said sarcastically as they watched the Phantom II take off as they rushed towards it, "How's strategy working out for us now, Sis?"
"Not so great," Sabine replied as Chopper grunted as he rolled past them as both Sabine and Ezra turning around, igniting her saber as the super commandos rushed towards them with Saxon flying towards them with his helmet back over his head before landing a few feet away from them.
"Sabine Wren," Saxon identified as he recognized Sabine before turning to Ezra for a quick second, "And you must be Ezra Wren."
"We don't know you," Sabine told him.
"Well, I know you, all about how you've joined the Phoenix Squadron and gained a twin sister by an Inquisitor. I also know that your mother is looking for you to demand why you accepted this abomination as your twin sister," Saxon told them.
"How dare you call me an abomination," Ezra said with anger.
"Calm down, Sis and don't believe him," Sabine reassured her.
"Sabine never told you about your family?" Saxon said in disbelief, "Well, she lies as well as you, girl. Your and Sabine's biological mother stands with me and the Empire now."
"I doubt you gave her much choice, traitor," Sabine spat at him, causing the super commandos to cock their blaster rifles.
"She came around herself after you abandoned the Imperial Academy," Saxon explained, "Your cowardice shamed your family's name and standing. Had you honored your commitment, you could be wearing this armor now."
"Sorry, Saxon. I like a little more color," Sabine remarked.
"You think yourself a loyalist?" Saxon asked her, "Out of respect for your family, I'll give you a choice. Give me Fenn Rau and swear allegiance, or you and your so-called 'Sister' die."
"I yield," Sabine told him.
"Sis, Don't," Ezra pleaded.
"We have no choice," Sabine told her before whispering to her, "Switch your helmet's frequency away from 337." She took her helmet off and gave it to Chopper as Ezra switched her helmet's frequency, "On my mark, send feedback to frequency 337." She then kneeled as Ezra deactivated her lightsaber as Saxon began to approach Sabine.
"Say it," Saxon said, demanding her to swear her loyalty to him.
"I swear… that you're a fool!" She exclaimed at him before turning around towards Chopper, "Chopper, now!" With that, Chopper began to send a feedback to every Mandalorian helmet that were tuned in on the frequency 337, causing Saxon and his super commandos to disorient them and writhe to the ground in pain and they clutched their hands onto the sides of their helmets as she grabbed her WESTAR-35s before placing her helmet back over her head as Chopper threw it to her and embraced her sister in a hug, surprising her, "Hang on!" She warned as she activated her jetpack as they flew into the sky with Chopper following as Saxon fired at them with his blaster after he regains his posture.
"I want those rebels alive!" Saxon ordered his super commandos.
As the Phantom II was leaving the Concord Dawn system, Rau was sitting in the cockpit and placed his hand over the Hyperdrive lever before looking at the jetpack that Sabine is gonna give to Ezra in the seat next to his as he contemplated on leaving the twins.
Ezra was hanging onto her sister as they were being chased by Saxon and his super commandos with Chopper flying next to the twins as they were flying above a canyon shaped geological surface below them.
"So what's your strategy for this?" Ezra asked her as she continued to hang onto her.
"They must have a ship nearby," she answered as she looked to Chopper on her side, "Chopper, find it." Chopper grunted as he flew forwards.
"Make it quick, Chop. Our evil cousins are coming," Ezra told Chopper as she saw Saxon and his super commandos catching up to them, "They're flying faster than us."
As Ezra said that, Sabine and Chopper flew downwards into the canyon with Saxon and his super commandos following them into the canyon and began firing upon them with their blaster rifles, causing Ezra to let go of her sister and Sabine grabbed her arm, stopping her from falling, "How about a little help, Sis?"
With that, Ezra took her lightsaber out and began deflecting the blaster bolts from Saxon and the super commandos with her saber's blade as Sabine flew downwards above a pool of water, "Whoa! Too low, too low!" She then flew back upwards as the super commandos continued to fire upon them as Ezra dropped onto a cliff next to them before jumping onto one of the super commandos and slashed her saber against his jetpack, damaging it. Sabine saw what her sister did and stood on the wall of one of the canyon cliffs before leaping from the wall towards Ezra and grabbed her as she jumped off of the super commandos back as he collided into the wall Sabine leapt from before falling down.
"Cut them off," Saxon ordered one of his three remaining super commandos who flew ahead and began to fire up them as Sabine held Thermal Detonators in her hand that wasn't carrying Ezra and flung them at one of the cliffs next to them as they flew past it and it blew up as they latched onto the wall, causing the cliff to fall, taing one of the super commandos out.
"Nice work back there, Sis," Ezra complimented her sister as they flew around a corner from their pursuers in the canyon as Saxon began to open fire, causing Ezra to let go of her sister and began to fall yet again, "Sabine!" She landed on top of Chopper who grunted in annoyance, "I know it was an accident!" She got up as she began to deflect the super commandos blaster bolts as he fired at her before he began firing at Sabine, who turned around as she grabbed her WESTAR-35s from their holsters and fired them at him and within seconds of firing them, she damaged the super commandos jetpack, causing him to fall to the ground below before his jetpack exploded, killing him in the explosion. Saxon aimed his blaster rifle at Sabine as she turned back around.
"Tell me we're close," Ezra told Sabine.
"Chopper?" Sabine called out to the droid, he grunted a response, "It's just up ahead."
The twins and Chopper soon reached a plateau, where Saxon's Mandalorian ship was parked and as they continued to head towards it, one of Saxon's super commandos then began firing upon them, causing Sabine to drop one of her WESTAR-35s as she flew into Ezra and Chopper before crash landing onto the plateau.
Ezra began to stand up as she saw her saber across from her as the super commando landed before them and Sabine saw her WESTAR-35 in front of her only for the super commando to kick it off the plateau.
"Finish the abomination," Saxon said as he landed before them, aiming his blaster rifle at Sabine, "Sabine is mine."
"Gar Saxon!" They all suddenly heard Rau's voice call out to Saxon and Saxon and his super commando saw the Phantom II hovering before them and aimed their blaster rifles at the shuttle, "Those twins are under my protection."
"Rau!" Saxon called out to him as he fired his blaster rifle as Rau fired the Phantom II's cannons at them as Ezra called out to the Force at her lightsaber which flew into her hand as she ignited it as Rau flew the Phantom II in front of them opening it's ramp.
"Go, Sis," Sabine told Ezra as she reactivated her jetpack's booster, "I'm right behind you." Saxon grabs onto Sabine, tackling her to the ground as Ezra got onto the Phantom II's ramp with Chopper landing inside the shuttle's astromech socket.
"Sabine!" Ezra called out to her sister.
"You're not going anywhere, traitor. I'll hand you over to the Empire," Saxon told Sabine before she kicked his helmet, causing him to let go of her before she stood up and kicked him in the shoulder as he backed away, aiming his blaster rifle at her before she kicked it away and punched him in the chest.
Ezra entered the cockpit and watched as the super commando fired upon them with his blaster rifle before flying away before Rau started firing the Phantom II's laser cannons and destroyed Saxon's ship with it.
Sabine evaded, Saxon's punch as he went to punch her before she got onto his back and damaged his jetpack, causing it to short circuit before he threw her in front of him and she went into a combat stance before he kicked her backwards, only for her to not budge and she kicked him onto the ground, causing to begin sliding of the plateau, he went to aim his blaster rifle at her as the Phantom II flew back around towards them and she kicked it out of his hand before she activated her jetpack and began flying towards the shuttle and as she neared the shuttle, Saxon shot the jetpack, damaging it, causing her to begin falling but luckily Ezra was there and grabbed her by the hand.
"They shot my jetpack!" Sabine told her as she pulled her up.
"Rau, where did you put it?" Sabine asked Rau as she took her helmet off.
"Put what?" Ezra repeated her with confusion as she took her helmet off as well.
"On the seat," Rau answered and Sabine walked up to the seat and picked up the jetpack that was just sitting there.
"Is that?" Ezra began.
"Yep," Sabine confirmed as she placed it on her sister's back, "Your own jetpack. but we'll have to give you training before you use it properly." She then turned to Rau as she sat in the seat next to Rau, "Anyways, I really thought you left us."
"I considered it," Rau told her, "Then I realized you were willing to die for our people, even though they were not born Mandalorian. You haven't forgotten our ways. That has earned my respect."
"Don't take this the wrong way, but we Mandalorians are crazy," Ezra told them.
"Crazy enough to join you," Rau chuckled.
"Honestly?" Sabine said in disbelief.
"If you'll have me," he confirmed.
"I'd rather have you with us than against us," Ezra told him.
"Welcome to the family," Sabine said welcoming Rau into the Rebellion before turning to her sister, "Oh, and by the way Ezra, next week, I'm planning on giving the the Verd'goten."
"The what?" Ezra asked in confusion.
"The rite of passage to adulthood in our culture," she explained as Rau pushed the Hyperdrive's lever forward as the Phantom II flew away from the system of Concord Dawn.
Please favorite and review. Would you like me to continue adding the Imperial scenes or not? And if you're thinking that I'm making a chapter of Ezra's Verd'Goten then I'm gonna say that I'm not, cause I don't feel like it and will take a long time, but it'll happen between this and the next chapter.
