It was totally silent.

And the longer it was silent, holy fuck, the more Sunny wanted to laugh.

After his, erm, explosive finale, Bakugo had promptly rolled over to the other side of the bed and outright ignored Sunny every time she had tried to speak to him. She had even rolled over him a few times, but he would just push her off the bed or roll away himself.

"Hey, babe," She tried again, "have you ever tried farting on your hand? Do you think it would make bigger explosions?"

No response.

"Can I sit on your face?"

Nothing.

"I'm thinking about getting my nipple pierced."

Still nothing.

She knew he was awake; she knew he was glaring at the wall in front of him and she was surprised it hadn't suddenly burst into flames yet under that murderous expression.

Sucking her tongue against her teeth, Sunny reached for her phone as it lay discarded somewhere on the floor and started tapping around on it. She answered a few texts, scrolled through social media, and then finally settled on watching stupid videos.

"If you don't turn that stupid wink wonk shit down, I'll fucking throw your phone out the window."

Sunny paused, "Did you just call tik tok, wink wonk?"

Finally, Bakugo rolled over onto his back, glaring up at the ceiling, sharp jawline flexing with silent rage. The duvet was pulled right up to his neck, and he held it in place with his fingers gripping around the top so tightly his knuckles were turning white.

"Are you finished with your bitch fit?" Sunny teased, tossing her phone aside and shuffling towards the blond. His eyes darted towards her at her words, red hues glowing furiously before he curled his lip and rolled away again with a loud huff.

"Urgh!" Sunny fell against the mattress, exasperated, "You're the absolute worst, Suki." As much as she could worship that gorgeous back for hours, she really wanted to see the front of him right now.

There was another long, still silence where Sunny was staring down into the mattress, frown growing more prominent with each passing second.

"Right!" She announced, shuffling some more and gripping the edge of the duvet with surprisingly strong fingers for their size, before wrapping herself up in the quilt. Curling around, she rolled until the covers were pulled clean off Bakugo.

"Hey!" He tried to pull them back, but unfortunately for him, Sunny was stronger and continued to roll until she was one giant burrito. She did manage to get her arm out, however, and when Bakugo lunged at her, she rolled away just enough for him to land across her stomach. Wasting absolutely no time on this perfect opportunity, she promptly slammed his bare arse with so much force it instantly left a red mark with a loud clap.

Of course, Bakugo swore loudly at her, flashing his teeth dangerously and smouldering everything he touched with heated sparks. But Sunny was undeterred, and just cackled wildly as she disappeared into her duvet hole when he made another swipe for her. Bakugo hissed when he missed and didn't think twice about shoving himself in after her. He was fast, but she was faster, and while he tried to grab her from one end, she wiggled out the other and threw herself on him, cuddling into the duvet as Bakugo thrashed around inside.

"Stay still!" She scolded playfully, squealing excitedly when he bucked, making her bounce at least a foot into the air.

Sunny was waiting for him to say those magic words that would set off her plan. Fortunately, Bakugo was as predictable as ever and even through the thick duvet his shouting was loud and clear.

"I fucking hate you!"

Sunny immediately froze, scrambling to sit up and letting the Bakuritto go.

"What?" Her voice trembled, and she watched silently as the duvet completely stilled its thrashing until only heavy breathing remained. "Y-You hate me?"

The burrito started wiggling again, frantic this time and it wasn't long before Bakugo's head popped out the other side, blowing air into his face to puff away his flyaway hair, more outrageous than usual. Those pretty red eyes flew to Sunny's trembling lip and he abruptly sat up, fidgeting awkwardly to free his broad shoulders and arms from the tight roll.

"No, no, no, no, no, no, don't you dare start crying," He hissed, fighting so frantically when he managed to pull one arm out, he almost keeled straight off the bed. He quickly caught himself though and was able to free his other arm quickly. "Sunny..." He growled warningly, watching as her eyes became large and glassy. He pulled himself up the bed, panting slightly and he grabbed her face, squishing her cheeks with his palms, "I'm sorry," He breathed, the words rolling off his tongue with surprising ease, "D-Don't cry. I don't hate you, obviously, I didn't mean it, please don't cry. It's been such a nice evening, I'm so—Oh, you fucking bitch."

He immediately dropped his hands when Sunny started grinning at him, and he plopped back onto his haunches as she scrambled up to him. She sat on his lap, knees either side of his legs as he was still tied up in the duvet from the waist down and wrapped her arms around his neck. Bakugo's face was immediately buried into her chest, but he didn't complain when she started snickering.

"You're so cute when you get all apologetic," She swayed them a little as she sang her words happily. She heard Bakugo grumble against her skin, sinking his teeth ever-so-slightly into the flesh of her breast before wrapping his arms around her waist.

"Fucking psycho."

"Hmmm," Sunny just hummed, rubbing her face into his fresh smelling hair, "Yeah, but it takes one to know one." She kissed his temple loudly, just the way he hated it. "Now, seeing as you can't be trusted to go on top, can I have a go?"

Bakugo just threw her off him again and rolled away, taking the duvet with him.

The next few weeks came and went quite slowly as the build-up towards the exams continued. Bakugo became overbearing with studying, crippling Sunny and Kirishima with his overwhelmingly high expectations.

At one point, Kirishima had jokingly suggested he go study with Yaoyorozu and the others, to which Bakugo nearly flipped his own table with rage.

"Hah? Am I not smart enough for you or something?"

Sunny had sat back in her chair and whistled lowly, but Kirishima had taken it like the damn manly champ he was and just brushed him off.

Before Sunny even realised it, the exams were upon them. The written exams came first, and on the first day, she was whisked away into a private room, away from her classmates. This was so she could work with a scribe, helping her to read and write to level the playing field with her peers. Although, much to her surprise, she didn't really need the helper much, after all.

"Your language skills are far better than I expected, Sugawara," The older woman commented as she held the classroom door open for Sunny when they had finished for the day. She was itching to see her friends; she hadn't even been able to spend lunch with them as a precaution to make sure no one cheated and shared answers with her.

"Yeah," Sunny rubbed at the back of her neck absently, eyes already scanning up and down the corridor, "I've had a really... strict tutor." Brutal would have been a better word to describe Bakugo, but nevertheless, whatever his method was it had done the job.

Speaking of the angry blond, Sunny's eyes lit up when she spotted him stomping around the corner.

"Suki!" She squealed brightly, leaping down the hallway towards him. He had been glaring at something intently on his phone, but as soon as her voice rang through the corridor, his gaze instantly shifted, and his expression dropped and smoothed out.

"Hey," He pocketed his phone just as Sunny came bouncing into his arms, quickly slipping them around her in a light, quick embrace before taking her hand in his. "I'm hungry."

"Want to get something to eat? I smelt pancakes this morning and now it's all I can think about," Sunny chimed, inhaling deeply through her nose. "How were your tests?"

Bakugo shrugged lazily, "Fine."

Sunny took that as a very good sign. If they had gone poorly, he would be fuming, but his rather relaxed expression and attitude seemed to be telling of his success.

"Yours?" He asked after a moment, ignoring Sunny swinging his arm.

She beamed at him, "Really good! I mean, I could nearly read all of the questions on my own! And I barely needed any help with my writing," She chirped happily, leaning in for a moment to rub her cheek against his shoulder. She didn't miss the way his head snapped towards her and he almost smiled.

"I guess you have a great teacher, huh?" His smirk did breakthrough then, flashing a few teeth at his cockiness and he rolled his shoulders.

"Yeah, I definitely do," Sunny bobbed onto her tiptoes to plant a chaste kiss onto his soft cheek, "Aizawa really is grea—Ah!"

Sunny cackled when Katsuki was quick to sling his arm around her neck and hold her in a headlock just as they reached the main stairs leading down to the foyer. He practically dragged her down the steps towards their lockers, fighting with Sunny as she tried to catch her feet between his and trip him up.

"What's wrong with you two?" Kirishima's voice called from somewhere off to the left of them, slamming his own locker shut and popping his hip out to glare disapprovingly at the couple. In one, swift motion and a loud grunt, Bakugo scooped Sunny over his shoulders, tossing his school bag to the floor in the process but taking no notice when its contents scattered everywhere. He swung her around, spinning in a circle before tossing her to the floor with a dramatic 'BOSH' sound.

"Seriously," Kirishima continued, "one of you is going to get seriously hurt one day."

Bakugo ignored him, instead, he slapped his elbow and threw himself down on top of Sunny, cutting off her manic laughter briefly with a choke as he landed right on her rib cage. Sunny's hands flew to the waistband of his trousers.

"Don't you fucking dare!" Bakugo instantly knew what Sunny was about to do but her fingers had already dived beneath his belt, securing her long claws into the fabric of his boxers. The blond tried to scramble off Sunny, where he was laying across her on the tiled floor, but as he did, he just secured his own fate and with one mighty tug, Sunny wedgied him. Immediately his boxers groaned and ripped a little, and Bakugo fell back down.

Sunny's eyes found Kirishima then, sparkling devilishly when Bakugo became limp against her, forehead smacking against the floor with a curse, "Yeah," She licked her lips, "won't be me though, will it? Hey, anyways, you hungry, Ei? We're getting pancakes."

"Hell yeah!" Kirishima had opened his grinning mouth to respond, but somehow Kaminari's voice came out of it. Confused, the redhead turned to find Denki staggering into view around a row of lockers, Sero and Ashido in tow, "Pancakes sound awesome!"

A few minutes later led to Sunny struggling with her shoes. Despite being incredibly agile, she had always found tying her shoelaces to be extremely difficult. Without saying a word, Bakugo finished pulling on his own shoes and marched toward the struggling cat-girl.

He held out his hands, and Sunny responded by swinging her foot into them. She let out a loud purr of appreciation when Bakugo rested the sole of her shoe against his blazer and began to make light work of securing them.

"Hey, Sugawara!"

Sunny bend backwards at the sound of a peppy, familiar voice, and she grinned broadly upside down when her sights were set on Mei Hatsume bounding towards her, wearing her own manic grin.

"Hey!" Sunny switched legs so Bakugo could tie her other shoelace, he did nothing to protest but grumbled anyways.

"I've got a gift!" The pink-haired girl ground to a halt in front of Sunny, panting with wild eyes. In her hands, she held a tightly wrapped package, "Your helmet came back from approval, and with some minor tweaks it's finished! Tell me you like it, you better, the rest of your costume is nearly finished too!"

Sunny had been meeting Hatsume for the last few weeks, finally getting her finger out her bum with a push from Midoriya and a kick from Bakugo she met with the support student. They had been working together on costume ideas, drawing inspiration from both Bakugo's and Midoriya's illustrations, but ultimately the final decision was Sunny's - not that she was very imaginative or bothered really and so she just let Hatsume go to town on ideas.

Sunny nearly smacked Katsuki in the face from rounding her foot around so fast, she practically snatched the small parcel from Hatsume and both girls grinned toothily as Sunny made light work of shredding the packaging to pieces.

"Holy shit, Sunny, that's badass!" Mina was the next to grab at the helmet, although she nearly immediately dropped it when her fingers came into contact with the spikes encrusting the mask. The facial covering was almost adorable, in all its hot pink, velvety fabric. It was designed to fit snugly against Sunny's face, starting just over her cheekbones, coming up and leaving exaggerated cat-eye shaped holes for her to see out of. The soft fabric continued to wrap over her forehead, protecting her skin and coming into two points for her ears to fit snugly inside, before finishing just on the other side of her crown. It kept her wild hair back, all while supporting and protecting the most vulnerable parts of her scalp. It was pretty, or at least it would have been if it wasn't for the fact nearly the entire head-piece was adorned with black, glossy spikes that ran from the sides of the eye holes all the way up the head and around the back of the helmet.

"Now you definitely look like a sex doll." Came Bakugo's remark, but there was absolutely no displeasure in his tone and his eyes were lit brightly as he gazed upon the helmet that he specifically designed for Sunny. "Although, the colours shit."

Sunny huffed loudly, "I wasn't going to wear an orange helmet, Suki. I told you to not piss on my stuff."

"I wasn't pissing on anything," He snapped back, lip curling at the accusation that Sunny was accusing him of forcing his colour onto her, "but how else was I going to show you were mine?"

"Most people buy their girlfriends jewellery." Kirishima quipped, earning himself a steely glare from Bakugo and the redhead quickly stepped back and mimed zipping his lips.

"I'm not buying this fleabag expensive jewellery when she prefers playing with the wrapping paper."

Sunny promptly dropped the packaging she was scrunching excitedly between her fingers, she made a move to kick it off somewhere, but Bakugo was quick to reach down and scoop it up, shoving the rubbish in his pocket.

"And don't fucking litter either."

Sunny repeated his words in a high-pitched tone but squeaked and trilled loudly when Denki, who was now holding her mask, shoved the headpiece onto her head.

"Gnarly," Sero appreciated, "Is the rest of your costume that pink, though? It's not exactly stealthy."

"Nah, not this pink, anyway," Sunny pulled Bakugo's phone out his pocket and used the screen as a mirror, checking herself out and pulling stupid faces. He quickly swiped it back. "It's got some pink stuff on it though- Oh! You should see my new boots! Now they are this pink," She trilled with delight, flashing those sharp teeth.

"Boots? I thought you wore thick socks?" Mina looked terribly confused, but then her expression suddenly hardened, and she rounded on Bakugo, almost making him jump, "What have you done, Bakugo? What have you turned my precious little flower into?!"

"Hah? What precious little flower? She will dislocate your arms in a split second," He scoffed, red hues pinpoint, "She's a fucking iron club, don't pretend she's some sort of stealth monkey."

"Stealth monkey," Kaminari whispered absently with a snort.

"She's wasted in stealth, with some real armour and gear she can do some serious damage," Bakugo crossed his arms over his chest with a loud 'tsk' sound. "Wearing all that shitty, light material made her squishy and not able to take damage, now she can, and now she can fight properly."

"Jesus man," Sero rubbed the back of his head, "I didn't think I'd ever see you have so much faith in someone."

"Hah?" Bakugo barked, "It's not faith, it's bloody common sense. There's no point wobbling between two classes. If she needs to do stealth, she can remove some components. It's easier to do that than add pieces in the middle of a fight."

Sunny nudged Mina, "I also have pink knuckle dusters."

"Aren't you worried this sort of thing will slow you down?" Kirishima asked, cocking his head, "You're used to light armour, this stuff sounds rather heavy."

Sunny shrugged, "Maybe, but it's really not that heavy, plus I'm pretty strong-" Bakugo scoffed, that was an understatement, on more occasions than he would care to admit she'd picked him up and carried him around like he was no more than a small sack of potatoes. Sunny continued over the top of him, "and the new costume is designed in segments," She jerked her thumb towards Hatsume, "ma gal hooked me right up, so I shouldn't lose too much agility, either. It'll take some training to get used to, but I guess that's the idea of being students, right?" Sunny grinned again, but she squealed when Bakugo reached up and tugged at her ear through the helmet, dragging her face.

"That's brave, changing your whole fighting style," Mina grinned enthusiastically, "But please, tell me more about these boots!" She reached up and grabbed Sunny's cheeks.

"They're awesome, babe," Sunny's eyes twinkled menacingly behind her bright pink, studded mask, "I can't wait to stomp cock in them."

"Oi, you busy Friday night?" Bakugo slung his arm over Sunny's shoulder, in turn, she wrapped her arm around his waist as they walked, having just bid farewell to their friends. The blond didn't even mention he was planning on walking Sunny home, but she knew exactly what he was doing and knew better than to argue.

She took a long slurp of her slushie before answering, "No, why?" She winced and trilled around her brain freeze.

Bakugo picked at a piece of fluff in her hair, "Come round for dinner then—Ah!" He wretched and jumped away from Sunny when she ecstatically pinched playfully at his side, grinning up at him.

"Really? With your mum and dad?"

Bakugo had to look away from the elated look on Sunny's face, it was too fucking much. "Obviously, who else would be there?"

Sunny squealed and padded on the spot for a moment, "Oh man, my new mask arrived, I had pancakes, and now I've got a dinner date with your parents?! Best day ever!"

"Hey!" Bakugo grabbed her free hand and yanked her back into step beside him, "I'll be there too, dumbass."

"Of course," Sunny smiled brightly up at Katsuki's face as he ignored her. She reached around and pinched his bum, "you're the main event, baby."
