AN: Here we go!!
Time: After the Giant War
Percy was again all alone, battling against Gaea. The Primordial Goddess towered above him, wielding an earthen sword. She would have been beautiful, had it not been for the sinister snarl contorting her facial features. There was nothing around the two- only darkness. It seemed as if they were fighting in the middle of the Void.
Gaea raised her sword, before bringing it down in a deadly arc. Percy raised his hands, before realising that Anaklusmos was not there. An ear-splitting scream tore through the battlefield, before he was engulfed in darkness.
Percy shot up in a cold sweat. Slowly, he caught up with his surroundings. He was in Apollo's hospital. The Son of Poseidon reached out for his sword, before realising that it was not there. He remembered it then-
Flashback
Percy had just defeated Hippolytos, and Gration. Only a few Giants remained...an ear-splitting scream, definitely feminine, rang across the battlefield, jerking him out of his thoughts. Panicked, Percy gripped Anaklusmos tightly, before mist travelling away to where the scream had sounded from.
Once there, he saw something that made his blood boil. Lady Artemis, the auburn-haired and silver-eyed maiden Goddess, was tied and gagged, with tears streaming down her face. Orion, who was in front of her, was moaning slightly, as he pumped his pin-sized cock, masturbating to the sight of the bound maiden goddess. Percy gritted his teeth. Sneaking up behind Orion, he tried to stab the Giant through his chest...But his hit was blocked. Orion smirked at him, "You think you can sneak up on a hunter?" The two engaged each other, in a flurry of silver and bronze strikes. The demigod kept swiping at the Giant, but to no avail. On the other hand, the Giant could not land a hit on Percy either.
Percy delivered an overhead strike, before dodging Orion's stab, rolling to the side, and shifting into auto mode. Suddenly, as he tried to block Orion's lunge, Anaklusmos shattered, and with it, shattered Percy's hopes of getting out of this alive. However, before Orion could attack, and harm him, Apollo flashed in, putting an arrow through Orion's head, as Percy stabbed him in the chest with a broken shard of his sword. Apollo acknowledged him with a nod, which Percy grudgingly returned. Before he flashed away with Artemis, he said, "Jason defeated Porphyrion. The war is over."
Hardly had the Sun God gone away, when the ground rumbled, and Ol' Dirt Face screamed in her booming voice, "Puny demigods, you will pay for killing my sons!"
Flashback end
That was how Percy had lost his sword. He then remembered how he had defeated Gaea- the same way he had defeated Akhlys- by suffocating her with her own element, this time, the earth itself.
Percy groaned, before he got up. Not paying attention to the obnoxious golden palace, and the mutilated, half-dead, patients laying on the other beds, the demigod made his way onto the main street of Olympus.
The whole of Olympus seemed to be in a festive mood. Satyrs and minor gods were running around, carrying drinks and papers and trays stacked with food. The heavenly aroma just seemed to call Percy in. Nymphs and naiads appeared from everywhere, singing and dancing. A huge banner with bright colours hung over the main street, saying 'Victory to Olympus!' The distant echoing sound of a bell permeated through the thin mist that hung in the evening air. The sky was dark, but the city itself was brightly lit, with lamps and street lights and bright festive, celebrating lights. Some glowing balls of light whizzed through the air, similar to Calypso's servants, that Percy had seen in Ogygia.
The Son of Poseidon looked around for his friends, and not seeing them anywhere, decided to make his way to the Olympian Throne Room, to which everyone seemed to be gravitating.
He pushed the massive doors open, immediately drawing everyone's attention to the Son of Poseidon standing at the doorway. It was so silent one could hear the breaths of one's neighbour. The throne room was packed, with all the demigods from Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter, the Amazon's and the Hunters in attendance. There was no elbow room for anyone. All the gods sat in their respective thrones, except the moon goddess. Hades sat in a guest throne, near the hearth. By the hearth, Hestia and the hunters were comforting Artemis. When Percy entered, Hestia pointed at him, and whispered something to her. Artemis looked up, to reveal a tear-streaked face. She weakly smiled and waved at him, which Percy returned.
Annabeth, who stood in the centre, frowned at that. She had been acting a bit weird since his disappearance, though, Percy thought. He noticed that the rest of the seven stood off to the side, with a golden glow about them it seemed, which told Percy that they had accepted Godhood. All of them had a slightly panicked look on their face, as they thought that Percy would again refuse godhood again.
Athena cleared her throat, "So, as I was saying, daughter, will you accept godhood?" She threw Percy a nasty glare, before smiling at her daughter. Annabeth, without a second look at the Son of Poseidon, almost half-shouted, "Yes!"
At that moment, Percy's heart shattered, and he realised why Artemis had taken the path of maidenhood. "Annabeth?" He mumbled miserably.
Annabeth whirled around. "Stop being such a wimp, Percy. I broke up, so what? Does that change anything? Your brain is most probably so small that you couldn't comprehend what I just said? Isn't that right, Seaweed Brain? Hmph, who am I asking?" Annabeth finished in a breath, before turning back, smirking.
Athena seemed horrified at her daughter, but she hid it well. The gods mirrored her expression. This foolish daughter of Athena had just insulted the demigod who single-handedly defeated the Primordial of Earth. Poseidon looked enraged, ready to smite her down any moment, gripping his trident so tightly his knuckles turned white. Apollo, Hestia, and surprisingly, Artemis mirrored him, clutching their respective weapons tightly.
As for Percy, he gritted his teeth, trying to keep himself and his tears in check. No, he wouldn't cry. There was time for that later. He would not give them any sign of weakness to laugh at. He clenched his fists so tightly that his nails sunk into his flesh, drawing a bit of blood, which dripped down his knuckles.
Zeus cleared his throat, breaking the uncomfortable silence that had descended upon the throne room and the people assembled. The rest of the seven genuinely looked terrified, while Annabeth was oblivious to all their different reactions.
"So, Perseus, do you finally accept godhood?" Zeus boomed, glaring at him in a 'don't-you-dare-refuse-our-generous-offer' way.
Percy reflected on his life, and lack of ties to the mortal world. Annabeth had just left him. His parents were dead. Tragic they had said. A tragic accident had killed them. Camp had never appealed him much. It got seriously persistent after some time. Training, training, training, all the time.
What was a hard decision, soon became easy. "Yes." The throne room was again quiet as a church mouse. Zeus smiled, and was going to say something, but Percy cut him off. "But, first, Uncle Hades and Aunt Hestia must have their thrones back."
Zeus again started to say something, summoning his master bolt, but was cut off again by Percy's cold glare, which would have made Kronos call for Mommy. The King of the gods gulped, and nodded, before snapping his fingers. Two thrones rose from the ground, one covered with flames, which seemed benevolent and cosy, inviting to the young demigod, but the other was malevolent. The second throne seemed darker than the sky in a new moon night, and seemed to draw the shadows towards it. Hestia smiled at Percy to show her appreciation, but did not move, nor did she say anything, as Artemis was now a five-year-old auburn-haired girl, curled up in her lap. Hades clapped Percy heartily on the back, before he made his way to his brand new throne. The smile threatening to split his face was as wide as a kid during Christmas. "Thanks, Nephew, you have done the House of Hades a great favour. You can come to my realm any time you want."
"Now, for the new gods. Lady Fates, please come to bless them." The Fates flashed in, before they started chanting in a synchronized, monotonous voice. "All hail Jason Grace, minor god of lightning! All hail Piper McLean, minor goddess of charmspeak! All hail Leo Valdez, minor god of technology! All hail Frank Zhang, minor god of animals! All hail Hazel Levesque, minor goddess of riches! All hail Annabeth Chase, minor goddess of architecture!" The Fates stopped to catch their breath, before they shot a beam of power at all the new gods along with Percy.
Percy clenched his jaw so hard, he feared that it might snap in two. Being turned immortal felt as if lava was pumping through your veins. Percy felt his body being changed from inside out, all the bones breaking, and reforming. He could hear the screams of the rest of the new gods, but he did not utter a word.
The screams soon faded to the background, as the Fates continued, "All hail Lord Perseus Achilles Jackson, The Fifteenth Olympian, Olympian of Unknown Domains!" Their voice echoed through the throne room, rising above the shrill screams of Percy's now ex-friends.
The three old hags mindmessaged Percy- "We need to talk to you." These were the last words Percy heard, before he blacked out.
Percy again woke up in the same golden hospital he had left earlier. A small, yet warm, soft hand was wrapped around his larger left paw. Percy looked up at the person, and almost jumped out of his skin in fright as the beautiful silver eyes of the Eighth Olympian met his sea green ones. Clasping his hand, was the most unexpected person, Lady Artemis. In fact, she had been the one looking after him for the one week he had been passed out in Apollo's hospital.
"La...Lady Artemis." Percy stuttered in greeting.
"Rest, Percy," Percy noted how she did not call him Perseus. "This is the least I could do for you after you after you saved me from Or..." The two were silent for a while, before Artemis continued in a small voice. "You saved me before he could do anything. Thank you."
Before Percy could respond, Apollo came in, a light bounce in his step. Artemis immediately flashed away with a golden blush on her face, leaving two confused immortals. Wisely, neither decided to comment on it, before Apollo started, "So, cuz... the rest of the seven had their debriefing about godhood in the one week you were knocked out. What happened?"
"The Fates wanted to talk to me. I guess it was too much for my body." Percy rubbed his head, sheepishly.
"You should go to the Olympians for the debriefing about your domains, but since you are the god of Unknown Domains, I don't know what they will say."
"Don't worry, Apollo. The Fates told me everything, how to go about my godly business. Hey, Apollo..."
"Wassup, cuz?"
"Tell the Council that I am leaving to carry out my godly duties, which the Fates told me about. I guess I will see you soon, at the next Council Meeting."
"What..." Apollo was cut short, as Percy had already flashed out, leaving an even more confused sun god.
AN: This chapter was published earlier than expected! Cause I am evil, I am not gonna tell you what the Fates told Percy though. That is for you to find out by yourself in the later chapters. Keep calm and CR7!! Keep calm and LM10!! (Messi)
