There were only 2 more days left until the Sports Festival began and the two friends were walking home from school together as they always did, but words were filling the air at the moment.

Izuku was currently staring at the sidewalk as he cupped his chin, mumbling to himself. "There's so little time until the Sports Festival begins. Just how much more training can I squeeze in? I know I've improved my quirk since starting U.A, but is it enough? I still haven't perfected jumping wall to wall using my quirk and I still end up face planting against the building after the 3rd or 4th jump. I may have power, but mobility is something I'm still clearly lacking. I doubt short bursts of 5% powered jumps are going to be quite enough in the festival. And I have to take my time when I use a smash so I don't end up breaking my arm. Will I even have the time to perform a smash in the heat of the moment? There are so many things that can happen during the festival, it's impossible to make any predictions. What if…"

Kyouka then shook her hero by the shoulder, snapping him out of his mumbling before she smiled at him. "Hey, there's no need to stress yourself out over all of that. And you're going to make me nervous too, you know."

She would usually want to continue listening to Izuku's mumbling until he finished, but she didn't want to risk him making himself to be more nervous than he has to be for the festival.

The green haired boy blinked a bit as he looked at his friend before smiling back and rubbing the back of his head. "Sorry about that. With the festival only being 2 days away, it's hard to keep my mind off of it."

"You know, stressing out about something is only going to make your performance suffer. An unhealthy mindset always leads to disaster. You just gotta relax. I promise you that there's nothing to be stressed out about." The purple haired girl said as she took her hand off of his shoulder.

Izuku sighed as he gripped his backpack straps. "Okay… Relax… I can do that…"

Unfortunately, he couldn't hide the fact that he was still thinking about training as he started to fidget a little with the straps which could easily be noticed by anyone, especially by Kyouka.

"You know, we've been training almost nonstop since Mr. Aizawa told us about the Sports Festival. How about we unwind a little?" Kyouka suggested as she placed her hands on her hips.

"Unwind?" The green haired boy asked before thinking about and slowly nodding. "Alright, I guess a little relaxation couldn't hurt."

"Cool. How about we hang out at my house for today?" The purple haired girl asked as she raised an eyebrow. "My parents aren't going to be home until it's dark and it could be some nice peace and quiet for us to relax."

"That sounds perfect. But let me go to my house real quick to grab some weights." Izuku said as he started walking towards the direction of his house before being pulled back by his shirt.

"Unwind doesn't mean training with your weights. You will not be straining your muscles for the rest of the day. Now let's go." Kyouka demanded as she let go of her hero's shirt and began to walk towards the direction of her house.

Izuku stood still for a second and looked at the direction of his house before shaking his head and deciding to follow his best friend.

'Okay, I can relax. How hard can it be?'

The two friends were now at Kyouka's house as Kyouka stood in front of her dartboard with both of her earphone jacks holding darts. "Okay, watch this."

The young girl started to spin the two darts with her earphone jacks at a high speed before throwing the darts, hitting a bullseye with one dart and an outer bullseye with the other.

Izuku's eyes sparkled as he watched her throw the darts and land them perfectly. "Wow! That's amazing, Kyouka! The precision you have with your earphone jacks is perfect! It makes me wonder just how accurate you would be from an even farther distance. Or if you'd be just as accurate with other objects. I wish you would've shown this to me sooner."

The purple haired girl's face went a little red at the praise as she tapped her earphone jacks together. "I-It's all thanks to a lot of practice. I've been doing this since late elementary. You should've seen me when I first started throwing darts with my earphone jacks. I was missing the dartboard most of the time and hitting my wall. It was pretty bad to say the least… Hell, I'm decent at best when it comes to using my hands."

"Well, that shows how much you've improved since then." The green haired boy stated as he smiled at his best friend.

Kyouka gave a small smirk as she had an idea before grabbing a dart and looking at her hero. "You wanna give it a shot?"

Izuku widened his eyes at the offer before shaking his head. "Huh? N-No, I don't think that's a great idea. I've never even thrown a dart before and it'd just be embarrassing if I messed up…"

"Hey, I'm sure you won't be that bad. And it's not like I'm gonna laugh at you if you do mess up. Just try it. You always make me try new things all the time." The purple haired girl said as she spun the dart around between her fingers.

The green haired boy gulped as he looked at the dart before he sighed and took it. "Alright… But please keep your expectations low."

"You know that's impossible of me to do." Kyouka said as she sat on the bed.

Izuku stood up and looked down at the dart as he stared intensely at it. "Focus… Focus…"

'Okay, you've seen this done in movies before. It can't be that hard, right? I just have to take wind resistance into account. Wait, does that even matter? This dart has an amazing aerodynamic shape so it's surely meant to negate wind resistance. Maybe if I think of it as one of my smashes then I can do it.' The green haired boy thought to himself as he outstretched his hand towards the board, ready to flick the dart at it before shaking his head. 'No, that's stupid. No one throws darts like that. And I doubt it'd even go far if I flicked it without using my quirk. It would probably just immediately fall to the floor and that would be embarrassing in front of Kyouka. And there's no way I'll use my quirk. I would end destroying her room. Just throw it the way everyone else does it. I'm sure it won't be as bad as I think it will be… I hope…'

Meanwhile, Kyouka tilted her head as she watched her hero stare at the dart. "Izuku… Are you good?"

Izuku was broken out of his thoughts as he looked at his friend. "What? Um, yeah, I'm good. I guess I'm overthinking this a little too much."

The purple haired girl sighed as she rested her elbows on her knees. "Just take it easy. Remember, we're here to unwind. No one here is judging you and this isn't some competition you have to win."

"You're right. I just have to take it easy. Alright… I can do this…" The green haired boy said as he looked back at the dartboard and held the dart in a bit of a clumsy fashion as his hand trembled a little.

He then took a deep breath and aimed at the board before throwing the dart and hitting the number 9 on the outermost ring.

Izuku gave a blank face towards the dartboard as he realized just how bad his throw was. "At least I hit the board… That's gotta count as something, right?"

Kyouka couldn't help but wince as she saw the bad throw and just stood up before patting his shoulder. "Of course it does. For your first time, that wasn't so bad. You can't be expected to be perfect right away."

The green haired boy sighed as he ruffled his hair a little. "I guess you have a point… Just like with training, you need to practice a ton before you can perfect something."

"Training?" The purple haired girl asked as she raised an eyebrow. "You really can't get training off the mind no matter what, huh?"

"Sorry… It really is a bad habit of mine." Izuku said as he looked to the side. "I'm ruining this hangout session, huh?"

Kyouka shook her head as she stood up from the bed. "No, you're not. I just don't want the thought of training stressing you out and taking over your mind. And you've been doing pretty well at that so far, considering how close the festival is. I just wanted you to take a small break even if it's only for an hour. If you'd like, I wouldn't mind you doing a little training, but only if it's light."

"Thank you, but I'm actually starting to enjoy having a small break. Let me try to throw another dar-" The green haired boy started to say but was interrupted off by his stomach growling loudly. "Oh…"

The purple haired girl chuckled a little as she looked towards his stomach before looking back at him. "Sounds like someone's a little hungry."

"W-Well, I only managed to eat about half of my lunch today since I spent most of lunchtime thinking about training… Wow this really is a problem, isn't it?" Izuku asked as he lowered his head before his stomach growled again as if it was answering him.

"And you wonder why I wanted you to take a break." Kyouka said with a small smirk before walking to her door. "How about I get you something to eat?"

"If it's not a problem then I would really appreciate it." The green haired boy said as he raised his head.

"Alright, follow me. I'm sure I can get you something from the kitchen. Plus, I wouldn't mind eating something myself right now." The purple haired girl said before exiting her door and starting to walk downstairs.

Izuku nodded as he started to follow his best friend downstairs. "If you don't mind me asking, what do you plan on getting us?"

"Well, I can't cook for the life of me, but I'm sure I can heat us up some instant ramen. Is that alright?" Kyouka asked as she turned to her hero.

"Yeah, I'm not too picky about it. I'll take just about anything to eat right now." Izuku said as he laughed a little.

The two friends finally made it downstairs as Izuku followed Kyouka into the kitchen before the young girl opened one of the cabinets, reaching into it. "I'll make one for you first since you're the starving one here."

'I have to learn to cook one day so I can make him other kinds of foods rather than just some lame instant ramen. I still haven't asked his mom about learning to make katsudon yet. I definitely gotta do that the next chance I get. His birthday is coming up in a couple of months so maybe I could surprise him with that. Yeah, that could work.' The purple haired girl thought to herself as she continued to rummage through the cabinet. 'Dammit. Where's the premium brand ramen that dad bought last week? I know they're around here somewhere… Aha, found them. He really thought he could hide them from me, didn't he? Sorry, dad, but Izuku needs them more right now… Also, I'm curious how good they are since you tried to hide these from me and mom.'

The green haired boy smiled as he watched her pull out two packets of instant ramen. "Thanks a lot, Kyouka. Again, I really do appreciate you doing this for me. But I feel kind of bad for eating your food."

Kyouka shook her head as she grabbed two bowls and opened both of the packets, putting the ramen into the bowls. "Hey, don't feel bad. I mean, whenever I come over, your mom always feeds me. This won't make us even, I guarantee you."

Izuku handed his best friend a pitcher of water before she started to pour the water into the bowls. "Well, that's different. I've never even made you something as simple as instant ramen before. The most I've done is give you a sports drink or a protein bar when we train."

"Alright, I'll accept this as payback then. After we win the Sports Festival, we can go to a food court or something. But it'll be your treat." The purple haired girl proposed with a smile as she put one of the bowls in the microwave before starting it. "How does that sound? Fair?"

The green haired boy sighed before nodding. "Yeah, I guess that sounds fair. I do wish I could make you something though. But it would be better to treat you to some good food rather than possibly messing up your meal myself." He then thought about what she said about them winning as he cupped his chin. "After we win, huh…? Well, if only I could One For All like it's nothing then our chances would be so much greater. Is it really possible for me to improve my control in just two days?"

Kyouka crossed her arms as she closed her eyes, not noticing Izuku crouching down in front of the microwave after being interested in its turning. "Well, anything is possible in this kind of crazy world. For example, you've already managed to learn how to use your quirk in more creative ways after only a couple of months of having it. But hey, even if you don't improve your control, I'm sure you'll do great in the festival with what you can already do with your quirk."

"Yeah… That's a good point… Anything is possible…" Izuku said as his eyes seemed to be following the bowl as it turned.

The purple haired girl opened her eyes and noticed Izuku was in front of the microwave. "You don't have to watch the microwave, you know. I know you're hungry, but the wait's just going to feel longer if you watch it. It's like watching a clock."

"Kyouka… How exactly does a microwave work?" Izuku asked out of nowhere as he kept his eyes on the microwave.

Kyouka looked confused at the question as she raised an eyebrow. "Huh? A microwave? Why do you want me to tell you? You already know how they work, right?"

The green haired boy just shrugged his shoulders as his face got closer to the microwave, his nose barely touching it. "Just answer, please. I want to hear it from someone out loud."

The purple haired girl still looked just as confused before deciding to just go with whatever he's doing. "Okay… Well, basically a microwave generates heat while the food sits on the turning plate so the food can heat evenly. That's the gist of it… Do you want me to go further into detail...?"

"Exactly!" Izuku suddenly shouted as he opened the microwave, taking out the bowl before standing up.

Kyouka jumped at his sudden outburst before looking at the bowl. "H-Huh?! T-The ramen isn't ready yet!"

"Just listen to this! This bowl of ramen is me!" The green haired boy exclaimed as he showed the bowl off as if it was some gold trophy.

"W-Wait, you're losing me here, Izuku...What do you mean by that…?" The purple haired girl asked as she started to feel a little concerned for her hero.

'Has the training really gotten to his head so much that he's gone a little delusional? Maybe he needs some rest.' Kyouka thought to herself as she slowly approached Izuku.

Izuku put the bowl on the counter as he shook his head. "I don't mean literally. But I can see now that this whole time I've been using One For All in the wrong way." He then clenched his entire body as it slowly began to glow. "I-I've been switching the power on and off when I have to use a smash or jump… B-But what if I just leave the power on throughout my entire body…?"

Kyouka widened her eyes as she saw Izuku's entire body glowing before rapidly shaking her head. "I-Izuku! Y-You know how much I support your training, but please don't do it in my house! My parents will kill me if anything breaks!"

"W-Wait, just trust me… I-I can do this..." The green haired boy grunted out as green electricity started to form around his body before his body stopped glowing.

The purple haired girl couldn't believe what she was seeing as the green electricity surrounded the body of her hero. "What is this…?"

Izuku seemed to be struggling at keeping the power on as he grunted some more. "I-It's One For All spreading throughout my entire body… T-This is a lot different than me just using it to perform single smashes…"

"Whoa... So, how does it feel…?" Kyouka asked as she slowly moved her hand forward to see the green electricity dance around her hand.

The purple haired girl started to smile as she slowly turned her hand. 'This is amazing… It's almost like I can feel his essence around my hand… It's so comforting.'

"It's a little straining right now, but I think I can get used to it." The green haired boy said as he slowly moved his arms to get used to the feeling.

The purple haired girl started to tear up a little as she smiled widely. "So can you control One For All now?"

Izuku nodded before smiling back at her. "It's only 5% at the moment, but yeah… I think I'm in full control."

Kyouka slowly pulled back her hand before wiping away her tears. 'You're amazing, you know that? When will you stop surprising me?'

The purple haired girl then chuckled a little as she placed a hand on her hip. "So… What are you going to call this controlled power?"

"I'll call this… One For All Full Cowling." Izuku said before as he took in a deep breath, already starting to get used to this power before letting it out.

"Perfect." Kyouka simply said as she gave him a thumbs up.

Kyouka was happy that Izuku now had a new way to use his quirk. And this seemed to be the biggest improvement he's had thus far. Maybe he can perform even better in the Sports Festival now. However, there was one more fact that made her the happiest of all.

'He won't have to hurt himself anymore.'

A/N

Chapter 34 is all done and I've been waiting to write this chapter for a while now! I hope that you guys don't mind how I had Izuku learn Full Cowling. I think I could've done worse on that part.

I was originally going to make this chapter take place a day before the Sports Festival, but I felt like it would've been weird if Izuku could use Full Cowling decently the next day so I decided that he'll be spending the final day before the festival getting used to Full Cowling.

I know people say that Izuku's green electricity is only for us viewers to indicate he's using OFA and that other people can't see it, but I like the idea of the electricity actually being around his body because I think it looks badass. I'm a sucker when it comes to electricity-type aura which is why Super Saiyan 2 is my favorite transformation in all of Dragon Ball. Love that show.

Next chapter will be the beginning Sports Festival and I'm pretty excited to write it. Mostly because Izuku will have Full Cowling which will bring up many fun situations. However, I think I'll still have him lose against Todoroki since I believe Full Cowling isn't enough to push Todoroki to use his fire and Izuku will have to go all out and use OFA at 100%. He won't have to do it as much though so I'm not sure if I'll still give him his scars or I'll give him maybe only one scar. Which kinda sucks cause I like his scars and Kyouka's reaction to them would be fun to write.

But Izuku won't be the main focus during the one on one matches anyways. He'll mostly be the focus during the obstacle race and cavalry battle.

Now onto the reviews!

AngelicWisdom: I really do want to involve her in the Yakuza case. Of course she won't be interning with Nighteye though. But I want to find a way to do it that makes somewhat sense. I'm sure I can find a way though since I have plenty of time. One thing I will confirm is that Kyouka will not appear in the Muscular fight. That'll happen offscreen so to say and she'll be having her own problems with a certain crazy girl.

Ability King KK: Well, now he can suffer less injuries… Or maybe he'll get injured even more.

Lockheart25: Graci, I'm glad I can make good chapters for you.

GunBlade2020: Well you'll see that in chapter 37 and I'll make a callback to it as well. I'm

RPGuy777: I honestly appreciate that this story is so addicting to you and that you've been able to stay around the early chapters since they were rough. And the slow burn is killing me too, man.

tiguylerobot: Hell yeah he is and Izuku is going to beat the douchebag out of him.

Naoto Koizumi: I'm happy you enjoyed how I implemented the side characters. I always love giving them more attention. I probably will move this story onto AO3 in the future when I have a break or something. I also probably won't do the comment response on there since I feel like doing it here is enough… Also I'm lazy… And I said the last chapter will be irrelevant because Izuku just learns how to use Full Coling lol. Well, it's irrelevant when it comes to his training with Sato mostly.

Chuck Winanaki: Crap… I wish I could say that I did plan on reinforcing that Kyouka's attention is always on Izuku. I was originally going to add some crashing when it came to Kirishima, but I just couldn't think of a good way to place it. Writing comedy has never been my strong suit. The comedy I grew up on was a lot of slapstick and I can't do that too much here. Also, I don't mind you being critical. It's rare to see someone genuinely criticizing a fanfic. As long as you're not hating for the sake of hating then it's all good. I really do appreciate criticism.

Earl John Diawatan: Oh, that would be fun if Kyouka went up against Ochako, but unfortunately I won't be having them fight.

That's it for the reviews!

Well, that's the end of this chapter! Please feel free to leave a review!
