Hey guys, chapter 2 here. Itll hopefully go well lol, and thanks for the reviews and follows on the last chapters.

Speaking of it going well, I hope it can live up to expectations. It seems u guys liked chapter 1, and I hope to continue having ur support.

Hey so would u guys like izu to get ofa? Im leaning towards no, seeing as titan form + all the shit eren had would be more than enough lol. The founder titan in this story doesn't really exist, as I don't really want to add titans into the mha lore. Sorry dudes.

Anyway, please read and review. If theres anything that u would like to see, or any (constructive, please) criticism u have, just lemme know in a review.

Thank u for reading!

The earth shook and the skies screamed as the fifteen meter beast appeared in a vortex of steam and fire. Roaring, the beast flared its muscles, the very action coupled with the heat of the transformation caused the sludge villain's hold to break. The beast's viridian eyes glowed out from under the green tinged, stringy hair that covered it's face. The beast stood still for a moment, as if gathering its thoughts, before glaring down at the pool of sewage below its feet, reaching forward.

Katsuki Bakugo at this point just accepted that he was fucked either way.

He was either going to die by the sludge fucker, or by the kid he thought was an insignificant ant on his way to greatness, who turned out to have what seemed like the strongest quirk he'd ever seen.

What a load of bull that was.

Look at him, trapped, with no way out. Soon, he would either suffocate by the sludge dumbass behind him, or be crushed by the behemoth in front of him. Him, the future Number One Hero, the future strongest man on the planet, reduced to nothing but a damn damsel in distress.

It sickened him.

His anger flared higher, reflecting in his crimson orbs.

He wouldn't stand for it.

He wouldn't be saved purely on the merits of someone else, especially that Deku.

He gathered what sweat he could, and ignited it. A flash of red burned the eyes of all the bystanders around them, heat gushing past them.

He would have a hand in his own rescuing, consequences be damned.

For the first time in years, Izuku Midoriya remembered what it felt like to be alive. The blood in his body pumped, burned through his veins as his Titan form roared to the heavens. His eyes glowed ever brighter as he grinned, for what felt like the first time since he'd ever awakened his quirk. He never wanted to leave, to forget this feeling of excitement. It was addictive, impressively so.

It was then that his normally near emotionless way of thinking made its way into his train of thought. It tempered the addictive thoughts running through his head, but didn't quite get rid of the rush of adrenaline flowing through his body, and let him see the outside world, through the eyes of the beast.

He vaguely remembered that it took that boy a couple weeks to get where he was now.

Mind running a mile a minute, he saw Bakugo struggling against the villain. He reached his arm down, grasping towards his classmate. It was then when, in his opinion, Katsuki Bakugo did the most stupid thing he could've done.

He blew everything in a three meter radius to hell and back.

'Great job, Bakugo,' Izuku thought dryly, 'you really did it this time, didn't you?' He grasped his charred and steaming hand, cradling it towards his chest. It was already healing. The sludge villain's body was blown away, but was quickly reforming, latching itself back onto Bakugo's body. It seemed as if this villain wasn't going to give up easily. Steeling himself for another round of explosions if necessary, he felt his titanic body shift towards Katsuki's now prone body.

'Huh, seems like that last explosion really took it out of him, huh. Sucks, but he did it to himself.' His fingers wrapped around the boys body, lifting him into the air. The sludge tried to go with him, but Izuku pounded it's viscous body back onto the ground with his other, charred hand. He turned around and began walking towards the Heroes only to feel his Titan body suddenly get steadily heavier. Looking around, he didn't see any sign of the slime villain on him, so he concluded that it had nothing to do with that.

It was then that his body gave out.

Bracing the blond in his hands, he fell forward and landed on his side. Steam erupted from the back of his body, opposite of Bakugo's cradled body, centered around the nape area. Izuku's torso ejected from the sinews and muscle of his Titan form, arms and legs still submerged in the body. Heroes took the cue, and began to evacuate everyone and clean up the scene. Death Arms and Kamui Woods warily shuffled towards the gigantic body, which seemed to be steaming out of existence before their very eyes. Quickly grabbing the two boys from the now confirmed corpse, they huddled them together and began the waiting process for the schoolmates to wake up.

It only took a moment before Izuku's eyes shot open, wildly looking around. When his eyes landed on Katsuki's still asleep form, his eyes softened back to their stereotypical blank visage. Glancing at the two Pro's in front of him, he sighed. He took initiative, and asked what they wanted.

They recoiled somewhat, surprised by the lack of emotion and directness of the statement. Glancing towards each other, Kamui Woods cleared his throat.

"Well, young man, what you just did was irrefutably stupid. You risked not only your life, but the lives of the kid and people around you," Kamui started, sounding less angry than his statement led on. "But, between the three of us, what you did was undoubtedly heroic. Even when we, the Pro's, couldn't do anything, you rushed in to try and save the hostage. We thank you for that, even if it, again, was stupid." Nodding towards the greenette, his partner took his turn.

"While usually we would have to reprimand you, especially for how many people saw you, we'll turn a blind eye to this incident so long as you don't do anything like this again without a license or the express permission of a registered Pro Hero, capisce?" The blue clad man winked with a grin.

Nodding back, Izuku picked up his backpack, which had been conveniently gathered up and put near him, and turned to head home, waving at the Pro's behind him. Taking one last glance at Bakugo's still passed out body, he nodded to himself, and headed home.

He was sure his mom was worried sick about him.

Izuku made it home as the sun was setting. As soon as his foot entered the threshold the last of the lingering adrenaline left his body, and he felt just how exhausted he was. Nearly tripping over nothing, he made his way through the apartment towards the kitchen. There stood one nervous and angry Inko Midoriya.

He was probably more scared of her than the actual villain that he fought today.

Scratch that, there was no probably in that equation. He just was.

Apparently, according to his mother, his little stunt was put on the news. Great. She then proceeded to spend the next half an hour crying over this and scolding him, before finally ending the tirade with a great big hug. As her body squished against his, he heard her say something that would undoubtedly boost his determination into the stratosphere.

"I know you can be a great hero, Izuku. Make sure you get out there and save a lot of people, like you did today. But please, for your mother, be safe. Just don't get too hurt, ok?"

Letting go of him, she smiled and wiped her eyes. Opening them, she looked towards her son, asking, "how about you and I make some katsudon for dinner tonight?" Grinning, she walked into the kitchen as she heard her son uncharacteristically scramble into the kitchen.

He could be a hero later, but for tonight, he was his mother's second in command in the kitchen.

Waking up the next day, which conveniently was a Saturday, Izuku had a mission: find a place to train his body, and hopefully his Titan form. If he couldn't do the latter, well that sucked, but at least now he knew he could control it.

Taking a quick shower, and dressing in a simple white shirt, adorned with a black cardigan and a fanny pack slung over his shoulder, with black pants and his signature red chucks, he kissed his mom's forehead, again thanking her for the great dinners last night, and headed out the door. Who knows where this journey would take him, but he was sure he'd find his way.

Surprisingly enough, he found what he needed in the form of a deserted beach. Looking at the rusted over sign, he could make out the name "Takoba Muninciple Beach". Huh, he was sure he'd came here as a kid, but looking at it now, it looked nothing like it did back then. Trash was littered everywhere, even old cars were dumped here without a second thought. Looking over it once more, he nodded. This place would be great for body workouts. He knew he would have to have a good regime to make the ODM Gear to work.

Now he just had one more thing on his list, and he had an idea where to go for that one.

(line break)

Izuku stood outside of his destination: a dojo. Specifically, one he'd seen an ad about, and that had decently high reviews. Now, he would just have to go in and check the pricing.

Hopefully it wouldn't break his bank.

Walking in, he was immediately assaulted by the sound of people throwing each other on the ground. Looking around blankly, he tried to find someone that looked like they were in charge, and found that in an orange haired man, who was slightly graying. Walking towards him, he was stopped a couple of feet away by a girl roughly his age, also with strikingly orange hair. She stood in front of him, hands on her hips, and started talking.

"Who're you? Lessons have already started, but I don't think I've seen you around," she didn't pull her punches, that was for sure. Any more emotional man would've been annoyed, but he just continued to stare blankly. When her stare got more intense, he sighed.

"I'm here to get lessons. Why else would I come to a dojo of all places?" In his mind, that sounded less annoyed than it did in reality, but when her face broke out into a smile, he was internally somewhat shocked. She seemed giddy at the prospect, and immediately turned on the heel of her foot and dashed towards the older man. Chatting animatedly at him, she turned and pointed at Izuku, before dragging the graying man towards the greenette. Laughing along the way, the man let himself be dragged, before being plopped in front of the child. The man looked at Izuku, and grinned.

"So I hear you're a dojo hopeful! Welcome to Kendo Dojo, I'm Yuji Kendo, and this is where I hope we can possibly make that happen! Sorry about my daughter, by the way, we've had some, uh, hooligans coming around lately." The mans voice was chipper, his smile carrying warmth. It was infectious.

Slightly smiling back, Izuku nodded and spoke in an even tone, "Yeah, I'm hoping to learn some form of martial arts, preferably one centered around grabs, if at all possible. And that's unfortunate to hear, hopefully something can be done about them." Grabs would be good for when he faced villains with gigantification quirks like his, and at least knowing how to throw a punch while not Titanified would be nice. It's not like he also couldn't use the grabs outside of Titan form either.

The man grasped his chin, going into thought. "Well, you're just in luck. I happen to have a course on Brazilian Jujitsu, which was the preferred grappling style in MMA before the dominance of quirks in tournament." The man grinned, then got down to the business side of things. "So, we can do this in monthly payments of 20,000 yen a month (roughly 200 dollars usd), if that works for you. That's the standard fare for our dojo, and all the services that come with it."

Izuku was honestly shocked. He had been expecting to pay upwards of 50,000 yen for good lessons, but Yuji was giving them out for only 20,000! He'd be stupid to not take the offer. Immediately stretching his hand out for a handshake, Izuku nearly shouted, "Deal!"

Yuji laughed, and grabbed Izuku's hand in a firm handshake. "Good, we can start next week! I'll have Itsuka here show you back to the exit, and we'll conduct the tour before your first lesson. It's good to have you here, young man! By the by, what's your name kid?"

Izuku replied in his normal blank manner of speaking, "Izuku Midoriya, sir."

"Alrighty, Midoriya, we'll be seeing you!" Yuji grinned before heading back to his station, leaving Itsuka behind to show Izuku out. Chatting about small things on their way to the door, they soon developed a friendship over a mutual love of heroes. While Izuku wasn't a mega fan like some, he still had a deep appreciation for the job and those who followed it, and that resonated with Kendo. Exiting the dojo, they traded phone numbers, and Izuku went on his way back home.

It may not change his life, but today was productive. It was a step in the right direction.

His mom was right, he would be a hero.

Eren Yeager changed the world with his Titan.

Izuku Midoriya would use his Titan to save the world.

He promised.

so thats ch 2. hopefully it lives up to expectations.

Not quite happy with how I ended the chapter, but I want to keep the eren izu parallels going strong. I think theres an interesting dichotomy there.

Anyway, please read and review. It helps a lot, and don't be afraid to give suggestions here and there. Im kinda just writing this thing as I go.

Anyway, thank u guys again for reading. Have a good valentines with ur s/o, not reading fanfics lol.
