Mediziner's Notes: Hey, it's 2021! First chapter of the year! Sorry this took me a long while, but it's hard to work on this when you're still recovering from holidays fatigue. At least that's what I coin it since it's hard to start back up especially after wearing myself out with making Christmas presents for some friends of mine last month... Anyways, let's hope this year isn't worse as last year, eh? With GUTS AND FIGHTING SPIRIT! ...Not too happy with this one because the original before I refined it was really sloppy so I had to untangle a whole mess of knots I left behind as I worked on this, but this chapter has more focus on Radiant Prism.

Something I need to point out about the Scotland Yard Brave Police since I do intend to include them more often. Each member of the Scotland Yard members speak in different accents from different parts of the UK. No, I will not be acting out the spelling and pronunciations, but please just imagine it in your head as you read.

The Leader Within Cover Art is drawn and commissioned by Erilmadith-Everyoung on DeviantART. You can also find Radiant Prism's full reference there, too.

Enjoy!

"I'm sorry Deckerd but no matter what I do, I'm unable to regain access. I've tried everything but I've been blocked off entirely by the natural firewalls even when I use all of the many possible techniques with my spy circuitry. The virus has become heavily aware of my presence even if it's distracted by Chief and the others... I'd be spotted in mere seconds before I could see what's going on." Said Shadowmaru, shaking his helm. Deckerd had been asking the Ninja Detective if he had any other methods of regaining access so he can ensure Yuuta was safe. He had been watching Yuuta discreetly from a distance for only what felt like less than two minutes until he was discovered and ejected from Radiant Prism's Super A.I., and despite he'd been discovered, something told him that he had no doubt that there wouldn't be anything the firewall... Or virus firewall to correct himself could do to Yuuta considering he isn't any kind of program. 'Hm, unlike me and the others... The virus won't have the ability to eject Mini-Boss due to entering through different means it most likely won't understand since this is a type of tech only the Chief has created, meaning that entering through the mind isn't treated as any kind of program intrusion like myself and others... He'll manage to get rid of it even if we're not there to help him.' He thought.

"But... Shadowmaru-"

Shadowmaru shook his helm. "Mini-Boss isn't a program or Super A.I. like us Braves. To the firewall- No, 'virus firewall' to be exact, to it Yuuta isn't like any of us and has entered through a different mean which could mean that it lacks any ability to eject him out of Radiant Prism's Super A.I. and we just have to trust knowing that he'll save Radiant Prism with his own strength within." He paused to glance over at Yuuta as Deckerd followed his gaze, also looking at Yuuta as Shadowmaru continued. "...Perhaps we can see it as a form of test, and I know this is one test in which he cannot fail. Mini-Boss has helped us in many ways thought impossible, so we need to believe in him Deckerd." Despite his words of encouragement, the Brave Detective could only frown, feeling defeated. His gaze shifting towards the Chief Engineer and walked away intending to go speak with him. Because there was not much else for Shadowmaru to do, the Ninja Detective relocated elsewhere, blurring as he disappeared from the repair bay and reappearing up on the rooftop of the station, he needed to contact Kagerou privately about what happened, initiating a private communication with his older Brother.

"Kagerou, I wasn't successful in keeping an optic on Mini-Boss due to being discovered."

-What? How was that possible?- Kagerou replied, bemused about the situation told to him.

"I'm not quite sure, but I'm assuming it detected me not long after I entered discreetly."

-That's impossible... Shadowmaru, we're the only ones with spy circuitry and we cannot be detected that easily in mere seconds. Even if a large group of criminals coordinating together can't find us that quick... Are you absolutely sure this firewall managed to detect you in mere seconds or roughly around a minute?-

"I'm very sure, Kagerou." Replied Shadowmaru. "You'll have the same results if you tried to enter Radiant Prism's Super A.I." The Brave felt irritated, it damaged his pride that a mere virus was able to see him so quick yet his spy circuitry didn't alert him to being detected the moment he was found out. He couldn't fault that the Germans were known for their high technology, with the country's long history of inventors and technicians over the years. They were at the top of their game when it came to technology, more than enough to surprise even him. His attention however turned to hear one of the mechanics exclaim to the Chief Engineer that the last firewall was gone. "I'll call you back. I think there's some good news." He told Kagerou, ending communications and blurring back into the repair bay to hear what was going on.

"What?" Toudou made his way over towards the main console, his gaze immediately falling onto the display. He could see that the last firewall was no longer being detected, but wasn't fully convinced when he began running double scans to ensure it wasn't trying to mask itself as some sort of failsafe defencive mechanism. While Yuuta was put to help deal with the firewall from within, he and his team have continued trying to bring it down with the same unsuccessful results yet they continued to try what they could. The older man took a moment to think, then glanced over at both Radiant Prism and Yuuta. He could hear Regina approach, looking at the display. "I haven't been successful in bringing it down on my end, but it sounds like Yuuta might have somehow taken care of it." She told Toudou. "I'm not sure how but..." She paused to type in a few commands into her laptop, running extra scans to ensure that the firewall is completely gone. "No traces of the firewall either from here, but if that's the case and it's been eradicated, Yuuta needs to wake up." She knew that the older man could pick up what else was on her mind as she continued. "There is something that bothers me, because this firewall blocked a lot of Radiant Prism's full functionality aside from the other smaller ones we've managed to destroy, I can't be sure how Radiant Prism will act."

"What do you mean by that, Regina?" Decked asked.

"The time you guys have known Radiant Prism as she was now? That may change with the sudden flood of pre-fed information we freed from that firewall; Pre-fed information that should've been available to her since she was first activated." Regina explained. "Because I've never seen or heard of a case like this, it's a high possibility that either she may not be the same person anymore, or may be slightly different in her personality without too much change. I will at least make sure I've taken notes on this should we have to deal with anyone else under a similar condition to Radiant Prism's case, but I don't think that there will be anyone else who may have this problem if more countries start building their own Brave Police team, but learning from this will help in case we find anything similar to Radiant Prism's case."

"I agree." Deckerd nodded. "In case there are any other Brave Police members from other countries that could have something like this, it's better to prepare ourselves for this sort of thing again." He glanced away, somewhat angry that there were people that had this mindset to treat Braves like mere tools rather than as people. "...I don't like the fact that this was done to Radiant Prism, or possibly any of the other German members of the Brave Police for that case."

"Deckerd." Shadowmaru addressed as the Brave Detective turned his attention to look at Shadowmaru, gesturing quietly to Yuuta. Immediately worried, Deckerd relocated himself to Yuuta's side, careful that he didn't bump into any of the mechanics' computers and objects along the way as he wanted to be at his best friend's side before he woke up. The moment Yuuta opened his eyes, the first thing he could see were both Deckerd and Shadowmaru. "Deckerd...? Shadowmaru...?"

"Welcome back, Yuuta. How are you feeling?" Deckerd asked, slowly and gently bringing a servo to his friend, who slowly grabbed onto one of his digits.

"Nngh... I feel a bit weak, like if I haven't gotten any sleep at all." He slowly pulled himself up, using Deckerd's digits to help himself up to a sitting position. "I guess because I was stressed and scared that the virus was trying to actively hurt me... But..." Yuuta paused, removing the helmet he'd been wearing. "I found myself in a city- A really big one where there was a lot of people speaking a different language, and cars driving in the opposite direction. I walked and walked until I found this big space which split open. It revealed what looked like to be a repair bay here, but it was underground instead of on the surface and the corridors were big and wide to the point that you could pass by another team member without... Anyways, I heard a voice in German call out to me but I could hear screams of agony that belonged to Radiant Prism. When I did find her, that virus had her tangled up in that firewall and it was hurting her and I remember something exploded before I could see what it was. That virus when it revealed itself in the appearance of this tall man I saw before all this... It said some stuff in German I didn't understand, before it started speaking in Japanese- Probably using the Japanese language files we gave Radiant Prism. When I demanded that she'd be freed, it did just that but, she was under it's control and ordered her to... To..." He paused, shivering as he hugged one of Deckerd's digits. "I tried to get her to snap out of it, reminding her about some of the things we did and... A-And she managed to break free and defeated the virus . B-But the fact she tried to... To... It was really scary, Deckerd."

It tore at Deckerd that what Yuuta had to go through, comforting him the best that he could while being gentle. He wished he would've been there to keep his friend safe but it confirmed that doing something like this again was very dangerous, dangerous that this shouldn't be done again... He'll need to talk to Toudou about this later on.

"Mini-Boss." Shadowmaru addressed as the boy looked over at the purple ninja. "You're full of many surprises that continue to amase us, you know that? I understand this was frightening but you're an unstoppable force, unlike any other."

"Eheh... Really Shadowmaru, I didn't do anything amasing..."

"Oh? But you have. Many, many times. You told us before that if any of us were to go, who knows what that virus would've done to any of us?" Shadowmaru pointed out with a small smile. "I had no doubt in your ability to overcome that virus together with Radiant Prism at your side. You saved her from the virus intending to eliminate her from within."

"Ah!" That was when Yuuta realised something. "...Is Radiant Prism awake?" Yuuta waited as Deckerd leaned back to peek around the modified barrier, but Radiant Prism remained motionless, the lack of light from her green optics indicated she wasn't active currently as Deckerd turned back to Yuuta, shaking his helm. "No, but I think the Chief and Regina will reactivate her shortly. However, considering what Radiant Prism had to go through for so long under our noses, I think the Chief will want to make sure there wasn't anything that would allow anyone to easily breach her defences, because it's most likely possible that the firewalls that served to block parts of her Super A.I. may have left some parts of it vulnerable for criminals to breach and hack into her systems. I wouldn't want what she went through to become a living nightmare to her."

"Yeah..." Yuuta's attention was drawn to the sound of two distinct footsteps as he saw Regina and Toudou approach him. They took turns asking him all sorts of questions as he answered the best he could, they needed to make sure he was perfectly fine and that there weren't any negative side effects caused by entering Radiant Prism's Super A.I. and once they've cleared him, they made sure to let him know to take it easy and not to stress himself by going out on police chases for a few days until he was back to working condition.

"Yuuta, there's something you need to know." Regina began.

"Eh? What's wrong Regina?" Yuuta asked bemusedly.

"There's something that we need you to be aware of, something that we've already told Deckerd and Shadowmaru." Regina then allowed Toudou to take over as the older man explained everything about that the Radiant Prism that they've known since day one up until now may not be the same which alarmed Yuuta as he continued to explain that because those firewalls that blocked portions of her Super A.I. which have limited how she could develop her personality, rendering her a not-so-confident, yet obedient Brave who denied what she was meant to be due to her given rank. "Now that all those useless firewalls were cleaned up and fully eradicated from Radiant Prism's Super A.I. this is where she may suddenly change completely or at a low chance of only just a small amount. However, we're assuming that her personality may change entirely. This is a case neither Regina and I thought was possible."

"I see..." Yuuta frowned, slightly perking up with a curious question. "Will she wake up soon?"

"Not right away." Regina spoke this time. "Toudou and I are going to keep her inactive for a little while longer because we want to ensure that Radiant Prism's built in anti-virus and other vital systems are in top condition in case there might be some cracks that would otherwise leave her vulnerable and hacked into by criminals. But we'll bring her back online once we're sure that she's secured and ready to return to active duty."

"Yeah..." Yuuta nodded. "I wouldn't want her to go out and deal with any criminals unless she's performing at 100% like Deckerd and the others. I'd feel guilty if she was sent out to perform duties with a weakened anti-virus system."

"You can head back up to the office when you're ready, but please refrain from going out on patrol for a day or two, alright?" Said Regina as Toudou spoke next. "We'll let you guys know when Radiant Prism's brought back online."

"Alright... Thank you, Mr. Toudou, Regina." He watched as the two returned to their business, taking the helmet he previously used with them since it was no longer needed. He looked to Deckerd, asking him for a lift back up to the office. Deckerd was more than happy to agree to this and carefully scooped the boy into his servo as the three left for the lift. The blue Brave could feel Yuuta shaking, still scared from what he had to go through. Meanwhile not long after they've gone up, Kagerou had just returned from patrol with Jack, who was fuming at an earlier event, but one glare from Kagerou made him yield slightly.

"I'm getting myself a cold one, I've had enough of chasing that one bloody criminal all over Nanamagari City!" Grumbled Jack, then turned to face the Shadow Detective. "And listen here bird-brain, you gotta do something about your alt mode because I don't even know how in the bloody hell can you deal with criminals in cramped places especially when you have to avoid clipping those wings of yours on the city's skyscrapers. You left me hanging until we finally got to the outskirts!" He didn't stop to listen to what Kagerou had to say as he turned away. The black and blue ninja would've been tempted to give Jack a piece of his mind, but knew better to take any action around the humans and wasn't going to think about stooping low to Jack's level. Fortunately, he didn't need to upon noticing Jack swiped a barrel full of Radiant Prism's jet fuel without reading the proper label and took one good sip, before spitting the fuel, exclaiming in English why did the station leave jet fuel lying around in the open.

But what Jack had said about him struggling to get to portions of the city while airborne is... Certainly an issue... But since the mechanics were busy attending to Radiant Prism, this was a question he couldn't ask right now. He approached the lift and took it up to the office. Upon entering, he greeted Deckerd and Shadowmaru, as well as a clearly exhausted Yuuta. Concern swirled around him about the small boy, Kagerou found himself approaching, folding his wings tightly against his body so that he wouldn't bump them into anything. "Mini-Boss, are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine... How was patrol?" The sound of Yuuta's weak voice pulled strings, a feeling Kagerou wasn't sure he understood but he felt heavily concerned for how exhausted he looked. "Deckerd, Shadowmaru, and I were just talking about how we're going to approach Radiant Prism once she's awake."

"What do you mean 'once she's awake'?" Kagerou inquired, tilting his helm slightly. "Did something happen to Radiant Prism upon removing the last firewall?" At his response, Shadowmaru shook his helm, explaining. "Mini-Boss did manage to help and save Radiant Prism, but what Regina and the Chief told us is concerning..." Shadowmaru began, hesitating but knew to be honest with his older Brother. "As you already know, those firewalls that served to block off a lot of the pre-fed information every new Brave starts with... But since Mini-Boss freed Radiant Prism from the last firewall, they both suspect that we might be in for either a big change or the more slimer chance of a slight shift in personality."

"This is something we'll have to tell everyone..." Frowned Deckerd. "Once we're able to agree on something that felt made the most sense for everyone to understand."

The doors opened as Jack came inside. "Tell everyone what exactly?" His optics soon fell on Yuuta, who was sitting at his desk.

"It's about what to expect from Radiant Prism." Deckerd said as the tri-coloured Brave perked at this, clearly interested as he continued to listen to what Deckerd had to say as he repeated what was. "Since you're one of the first few to know about this, we're just about to call the others back to talk about this... It's unknown how long the Chief and Regina will take to reinforce Radiant Prism's anti-virus systems, we discussed it's better to inform everyone before she's reactivated.

"Heh, well if she tries to get outta line, my charms should be more than enough to keep her in line." Jack smirked, causing the four to stare but said nothing. Deckerd proceeded to call back everyone to the station for an important discussion. He was surprised when the Build Team arrived first, all four of them filing in. McCrane informed Deckerd that they'd like to show everyone something after what he intends to discuss with the others. When he was asked if it was important, Dumpson stepped forth saying that it can wait and that there was no rush to get to it first. It would take a few minutes until everyone, Ten and Rook included to all file into the office.

"Now that everyone's here... Shadowmaru and I will explain why I've called everyone to the office." Deckerd announced as the two began explaining the situation about Radiant Prism.

...

"So... You're saying that the Radiant Prism we know... May not be the same anymore?" Ten repeated slowly. "That sounds... Really terrifying, even though Rook, Jack, and I haven't really interacted with Radiant Prism... I was hoping to properly introduce myself to her, too."

"She's not going to die, Ten. Don't act as if she is." Jack snorted, rolling his optics. "Sure we didn't get to properly introduce ourselves to her before the whole chaotic mess between dealing with the criminals and with what she had going on in her head, it doesn't mean she's going anywhere, anytime soon."

"It's good though that you're informed us ahead of time, Deckerd." Rook pointed out. "Not sure what will be of the lass' personality but I'm prepared for it now. Just hoping it's not going to be... You know, a certain someone."

"Let's hope not." Duke spoke up. "Radiant Prism is equal in rank to that of myself and Deckerd, and she still needs to learn how to be like a true leader even if her personality is... Not what we prefer."

"But guys, at least Radiant Prism won't have anymore bad helmaches! Right? Right...?" Drill Boy piped up happily. Despite attempting to lighten up the mood, everyone else still felt unsure and it was either going to deteriorate even further, or improve until they see how Radiant Prism was. Their talk was interrupted however when the small human door opened, revealing Toudou and Regina, alongside Saejima who'd also come to visit. The first one to speak was Toudou, informing of good news but also some news that he wasn't sure whether or not if they were good or bad. As the humans began to explain, they revealed that Radiant Prism had just been reactivated and was performing at full performance again but as they expected, Radiant Prism's personality has changed as thanks to the unlocked pre-fed information she'd been given. "...She shows great confidence and is willing to tackle whatever is going on but at the same time we've noticed that she seems to have garnered possibly a more defiant look about her. Perhaps with her feeling less grounded down, it might be what her true personality is under what she had before we've cleaned her Super A.I."

Regina spoke. "Right now, she should be waiting outside of the office." Her attention turned towards the large two sliding doors. "Radiant Prism, please come inside." At her given command, the doors oped and Radiant Prism stepped inside. Everyone could see it within her that she'd become a whole lot more confident, both in her behaviour and body language. There was not a single shred of hesitation or uncertain doubt, but only the full confidence and seriousness like that of a Leader as she saluted the Japanese Brave Police, as well as the three Scotland Yard members present.

"Hello everyone. I'm sorry for being out of action for so long but now that I've been fully repaired, I have nothing that's holding me down anymore. Before the others continue, first off I want to personally thank Inspector Tomonaga for saving me." She said, bowing with respect before straightening herself at attention. "I may not know how you did it, sir. But, I remember seeing you when I was fighting against the virus that plagued me since I was first activated..."

"Okay, that's a big change in personality right there..." Power Joe muttered quietly to himself, briefly drifting into his thoughts. 'From a girl who seemed hesitant and lacking confidence... Now she's the opposite as if someone threw the switch... Hm...'

"Good that you're in perfect health, Radiant Prism." Deckerd nodded as Duke and McCrane both quietly communicated with Deckerd privately about that it doesn't seem like they could continue the conversation about needing to be aware of Radiant Prism's shift, as she was displaying it already for them as he agreed on this immediately. Everyone was already seeing how Radiant Prism behaved and now there were a lot of things that needed to be discussed with the German Brave as a whole.

"Radiant Prism." Saejima spoke up. "I hope you'll forgive us but now that you are at top performance, I'll need you to take on some particular lessons with both Duke and Deckerd respectively." He told her, keeping his serious act. "This has been something I've wanted you to undertake once you've become much more confident in your abilities."

"Understood." Radiant Prism said, saluting the man. "I'm fully aware that I'll need to brush up on my skills, if I'm going to tackle the trio of criminals I still have to deal with... And eventually confront the man that forced me to flee when I've failed him."

"Heh... Confidence... I like that in a lady." Jack smirked as the others all stared at his choice of words, which he promptly ignored.

"Since there is no need to linger on this topic any further. Build Team, I'm sure you four have exciting news to tell everyone?" Saejima addressed the Build Team as Drill Boy brightened up at this, nodding.

"Well, we all agree that it's better to show it to everyone by going over to it." Dumpson began as Power Joe chimed in. "We've finished the last parts of it just today. However... I hope you'll forgive us Deckerd, as while we were supposed to be on patrol, the four of us wanted to finish this particular project rather than spend a long time putting it on hold. Without further ado, let's go ahead and show everyone what we've finished building."

"Yeah! Today is it's grand opening!" Drill Boy added eagerly. Everyone filed out of the office, following the Build Team. Deckerd walked over to gently pick up Yuuta to take alongside him knowing the boy was still too weak to get around without wearing himself out too quickly. Radiant Prism watched as Deckerd moved to leave the office but paused upon noticing that Radiant Prism wasn't coming with them. "You're not coming, Radiant Prism?" He asked her curiously.

"I can come along?" At her question, Deckerd and Yuuta slowly nodded. "A-Apologies... I wasn't sure if I was allowed." Radiant Prism seemed to glance away feeling embarrassed at this then back to the Brave Detective. "Even if I'm made part of the team temporarily, it's a habit of mine that I feel limited to most things- Primarily because I'm not an official member of your team that I instinctively behave more like a guest I suppose. I may have lacked confidence before my repairs, but I simply wasn't sure about the... Erm... Etiquette rules of the country. I suppose out of respect equal to that of Redlight, I do not wish to disappoint you and Inspector Tomonaga."

"Even if you're at top performance again Radiant Prism, nothing really changed." Yuuta smiled weakly. "Don't worry too much about it, let's go see what the Build Team made for everyone."

"Yes sir." Radiant Prism acknowledged in German, saluting.

As soon as they came out of the office, they found that Dumpson had been patiently waiting for them, gesturing them to the lift that had just closed. "We'll head down once the lift comes back up again." He told the three of them. When Dumpson called it a few seconds later everyone was inside the moment the doors opened. The Wrestler Detective briefly removed the paneling, pressing something from inside the panel of the lift before putting the cover back on. "This is temporary until we rework the lift to acknowledge there is a new floor... And prepare a new button to get to the place." He explained to them. "However, this is something we'll need a little help from Chief and the others."

Radiant Prism glanced at the two buttons present that called for going up a specific floor, feeling that it was descending but not stopping as both Dumpson and Deckerd talked to one another. 'So they've dug down below... Considering the limited space this country has, it's good they resorted to making more space by going down.' She thought, partially listening to the conversation while noticing the panel with the lift's buttons clearly having space for more rooms if they decided to extend the station a bit more. '...Then again my station at home is underground rather than on the surface like the Japanese Brave Police even though we have the space for it, it was the Polizei's choice to make it underground rather than on the surface like Redlight's, Blazer's and Surge's stations at their respective locations... Oh?' Her optics drew towards when she noticed that there were actual number on the buttons upon zooming her visuals to get a better look. She'd believed the Japanese would have characters that meant a specific number, but knowing numbers still remained the same in this language seemed to make sense. '...Maybe they just only have numbers in word form in characters rather than the shape of the number.' When she felt the lift finally came to a stop, she straightened herself just before the doors opened into a relatively new area.

"Hey Deckerd, we've been waiting for you and Radiant Prism." Power Joe greeted. "McCrane and I agreed that we needed to wait for the two of you. Boss too since we can't leave him out on the new place!"

"Ah, sorry for keeping everyone waiting." Deckerd apologised, politely bowing. The servo that still held up Yuuta remained holding him which looked a bit odd but understood about ensuring the boy wasn't going to be moved to his pauldron or anywhere else during said gesture that would otherwise make him feel unsafe.

"Er, I apologise as well. Primarily I wasn't sure if I was allowed to come along." Radiant Prism said, quickly straightening herself and bowing.

Gunmax couldn't help but laugh at this. "Looks like the Rookie still has some quirks of her old self. What makes you think that we're putting restrictions on you? Looks like you'll need some proper social training to fix that part of you."

Radiant Prism frowned. "Gunmax, I'm not-"

"Sorry, but you're still a rookie until you earn your way to the top in my books." Gunmax interrupted with a smug smirk. "Work your way up is all I ask, and I'll think about seeing you as something other than a rookie.

"Enough, Gunmax." McCrane said as he turned his attention back to everyone. "But, now that everyone's all here. Power Joe, Dumpson, Drill Boy, let's reveal begin our grand opening." As the four gathered together, they proceeded to reveal their newest, completed room as the large doors identical to the one used for the office opened, revealing a relatively large room complete with four small round tables, each one accompanied with four chairs. To the side were counters, accompanied by two dispensers near the wall and just off to the opposite side of the counters were two storage cabinets, serving to hold the barrels of fuel in case they need to refill the dispensers. "The idea came into mind that because we were always refueling in the repair bay, and since we always use up quite a bit of space which meant that we'd needed to move every now and then whenever the mechanics needed to access something." McCrane began as Power Joe took the lead. "That's when we decided to build a break room for all of us to have as much space needed whenever we need to refuel or take a break without being told to move whenever the mechanics need to do something." Next it was Dumpson's turn. "First, we needed to get approval for making this room so we spoke to both the Chief and Commissioners in private for this. Once we did, we started getting to work." Drill Boy, who was eager, continued. "And once we did get approval, we started work right away! Just like the building, we made sure we paid attention to detail, one of them especially the structure itself that we had to be sure it was earthquake proof! ...Or, at least as earthquake proof as we possibly can, but go ahead and check it out!"

The moment the Build Team stepped out of the way to let everyone check out the new place, Radiant Prism was surprised at the careful detail considered into this room as everyone began to look around, checking everything out while she had chosen to step to the side, watching everyone take in the newest addition to the station with a small smile. She was impressed that not only did the Build Team make something for every Brave to relax in peacefully, but the Commissioners actually approved of them having a personal space of their own when they come in for a break from patrol. 'It's nice that everyone had no restrictions since they were first built...' She thought, tilting her helm downwards until her optics were shadowed by the visor part of her helmet with a slight frown as she thought more and more into what she'd seen. 'I don't think I've been allowed to explore my station since I was first activated... I was only allowed to go between the office, repair bay, or my own personal quarters in the very back... Everyone looks so happy... Yet mine was still somewhat under construction if I recall correctly. But will I find the same happiness as here when I return to Germany after I've dealt with Gustav? I don't know if Dieter... Is he-'

Her thoughts were interrupted upon hearing McCrane speaking, turning to listen. "...It saved us a more time compared to just Power Joe, Dumpson, and I when we first built this station three years ago." He explained. "Drill Boy can dig faster underground than Power Joe could, he's better at digging underground than all three of us combined." McCrane could be heard saying when one of the Scotland Yard members asked about how long it took for the Build Team to make the new break room. "If I remember... The process of building our station took quite a while, I think about three or four months considering it would take years in comparison to a group of human construction workers. Neither Dumpson or myself were suited for digging save for Power Joe who could dig but nowhere near the efficiency that of Drill Boy."

"That's pretty cool, McCrane. The others and I are going to make sure we show Ringo and the others something like this when we get back." Rook grinned. "I'm quite surprised you took quite a bit of inspiration of our own break room. Then again Regina and the mechanics are pretty good at designing the proposed schematics before we built ours. I'll admit that we did change just a little bit from the ideal concept Regina had wanted, and I'll tell you she was quite cross back then- Er..." He paused, noticing Regina was coming in before quickly whispering. "Before she mellowed out as you see her now of course." He finished quickly, slowly trying to walk away.

"Paul."

"Right here!" Rook called out as he grinned sheepishly, approaching the catwalk built into the wall that was positioned to be around each Brave's optic view so that neither human nor Brave needed to crane their necks up or down to look at whoever they're speaking to.

"You should know better than to talk about others in a not-so-positive-manner behind other peoples' backs." The blonde said unhappily. She'd briefly taken notice of Deckerd's approach, gently setting Yuuta down onto the catwalk.

"Uh? Me? Regina, I was actually just talking about how amasing you were." Rook grinned innocently despite the woman continued to shoot an unimpressed look at him. Ten, who heard everything while occupied with his handheld video game openly spoke about that he could've sworn he actually did talk behind Regina's back but only for Ten to yelp, nearly dropping the game when Rook brought his foot onto Ten's foot, causing him to grunt in a slight bit of pain and completely shut up. "No Ten, I wasn't." He simply said with a nervous laugh. "I'll be checking out what the others are doing. I'm sure there's lots of places for me to..." The others immediately turned their attention to him, clearly unimpressed that he intends to pull a prank. "N-Not right now, 'lads!" He said hastily, moving to a different part of the rec room.

Regina however wasn't going to let this go, pulling out her personal badge and privately contacted Rook informing him that she'll want to have a talk with him later after everyone's finished celebrating the new break room all while Jack howled with laughter at Rook having gotten himself into a bit of a troubling situation.

While the others continued to celebrate and interact with one another, Yuuta couldn't help noticing that Radiant Prism continued to lean against the side of the wall near the door, simply watching everyone else and somehow it didn't seem to fit with him. He looked around wondering what he could do until he noticed Kagerou was nearby as he called for him. Because the ninjas both possess advanced parts, enhanced hearing being one of the few things on the list. Not only did Kagerou approach but so did Shadowmaru as they asked Yuuta if he needed anything. "Um... Maybe you two can try to involve Radiant Prism with the others a bit more?" His gaze turned to where she was as the Brothers followed suit. "She's just standing there watching everyone else... I figured maybe perhaps she might be feeling a bit lonely with no one to talk with so... Maybe you two help her out?"

"Well, just for Mini-Boss, of course we'll talk with her." Shadowmaru smiled. "This is something for everyone as the Build Team said, so no one should feel under any form excluded- Not even Miss Prism herself."

"To tell you the truth, we've been wondering why she did not seem to talk with the others." Kagerou said. "But we'll talk with her."

Yuuta thanked them both, watching as they walked over to towards Radiant Prism. He couldn't hear what they were saying since they were a little far from where he was, but he watched their expressions and body language. Radiant Prism seemed to hesitate, but they'd both effortlessly pulled her closer towards the others as whoever was nearby attempted to engage in a conversation with her. When she was closer, Yuuta could hear Radiant Prism trying to put a full sentence clearly unsure what to say or even do, but did slowly ease up and started talking with the others. Right away however, he noticed off to the side that Jack noticed she was speaking with the others, frowning the moment when he saw Jack approach Radiant Prism, attempting to lure her in with his usual flirting behaviour. 'Jeez, Jack... We're celebrating and all you can think about is flirting with girls?' He could somewhat hear what Jack was saying to her, and Radiant Prism's response was ordering him to cease and desist.

McCrane saw what was going on and told Jack to stand down out of habit of previously being Decked's unofficial second-in-command, but the tri-coloured Brave wasn't having any of that, simply brushing McCrane off as he continued to focus on Radiant Prism with his usual flirting antics. Ten, who saw what was going on approached Radiant Prism, whispering something in her audio receptor then stepped back. Seconds after Jack got too close to her liking, the German Brave pretended to play along but didn't make any move save for casually talking, until eventually turning around sharply to look like she was going to speak to Ten, one of her sweep-motioned wings striking Jack's face that made him stumble backwards with a grunt, servos over his face.

"Ow! Don't turn around like tha-" He noticed Ten was starting to snicker all while focusing on his video game pretending that he didn't see what happened. "Ten! Did you tell her to do that!?" Exclaimed Jack, speaking English as he rubbed his face slightly.

"What? Why would I do that?" Replied Ten, looking up at Jack with a confused expression as if he'd been falsely accused of something. "I was only exchanging video game tips with Radiant Prism, since I wasn't sure if she was into playing video games so I told her some cheat commands she could try for a game she might have."

Radiant Prism blinked at the sudden switching of languages, watching the two Scotland Yard Braves have a go at one another. Shots were fired back and forth until Ten said something that made Jack recoiled slightly as if horrified by something that was told to him all while Ten smiled just slightly, further continuing his sentence until Jack told him to shut up and tackled his teammate. Internally facepalming, Radiant Prism got to work in separating the two despite getting herself beaten slightly. "...I may not have the authority but there's no need to squabble over my actions, please." She simply told them both in German as she swiftly separated the two, Jack in particular who was still trying to give Ten a piece of his mind as he struggled to try and get at the bright yellow Brave.

...

Hours have passed and things have started to mellow out. Radiant Prism chose to relocate herself back up on the surface while the others continued to celebrate, needing time to herself so she could think on the rooftop. After she'd been repaired, most of her thoughts drifted towards what she'll have to do when she'd have to get back to Germany after she'd manage to deal with the trio of criminals still lingering out somewhere in Japan. Her optics onto some passing vehicles, sighing as she felt at a loss at what to do when she'd get back, knowing that the moment she enters German airspace, Gustav would be on her within seconds. She wasn't afraid anymore, but she knew she can't stay in Japan permanently. "I... Guess this seeking help thing was all for nothing, Redlight..." She muttered to herself, perking up upon hearing the heavy doors opening, she looked behind her to see Deckerd with Yuuta on his shoulder approaching, immediately straightening up and facing them. "So this is where you've been." Deckerd said once he was within conversation range and at being addressed, she nodded, feeling defeated. "My apologies Deckerd, but... I just can't see myself partying when there are specific criminals I need to capture..." She glanced away sadly, then back to the two with a sigh. "You guys may be able to relax and party, but I still have my duties and one of them is to see the trio criminals captured, arrested, and deported back to Germany."

"We're aware." Radiant Prism stepped out of the way as Deckerd approached the tall gates that surround the edges of the rooftop, his focus up at the skies. "However, there is something that I need to discuss with you." He told her, looking over at her. "It's very important."

Curious as to what's so important, Radiant Prism nodded. "I'm listening."

"Starting tomorrow, Duke and I will help you improve on a couple of things on the Commissioner's order." Deckerd began. "While we're glad that you're in top performance, he's tasked us to assist you further because he feels you're not quite fit yet on some specific things. We're concerned about that because you haven't spent enough time in your combined form to know how to deal with tougher criminals and per your rank, knowing how to act if for example myself or Duke, even McCrane are unable to give orders, and we're worried about how you'll perform if any of the situations were to happen or what's needed."

"Honestly... I think I can do fine. The leading part, I have no right because they're your team, Deckerd." Radiant Prism frowned. "A foreigner has no right to lead another country's team. I think I can perform well without the need to lead but I won't mind taking the lessons to learn how to. As for fighting in my combined form, we did go up against the one spider criminal..." She paused to think, then sighed as she yielded. "Alright, I can't say no to your orders. I'll do as you ask."

"Eh? Radiant Prism, I thought you said you saw Deckerd as an equal like that of Redlight?" Yuuta couldn't help but question, concerned about that she might still be unsure about her rank as a leader.

"Inspector, while it's true that I am that of equal rank to Deckerd, in reality I have no authority to order his teammates around." Radiant Prism corrected, crossing her arms over her chest. "I've said months ago that I was the only one of the Western side of my country. I don't lack confidence- Not anymore at least since you freed me from that firewall's grip on me. But as for leadership... What kind of leader am I if there's no one to lead and coordinate? Deckerd is the leader here, he is the country's Pride."

"C-Country's p-pride..." Deckerd repeated, a bit taken aback at the end of her sentence. He'd soon snap out of it when someone approached them seeing that it was Duke. "Even if you don't have authority over our team, we'd still like to teach you, because we know that one of these days you'll have your own to lead someday. We're all sure that this might be what Redlight would have wanted from all of us that you learn how to be a leader. Why else would the rank on your helmet be there?"

"What... I-"

"We'll take it slowly, there's no rush." Deckerd assured.

"Even if you never had a team of your own, we wouldn't want you to be unprepared when you have to go back home." Yuuta smiled as Radiant Prism noticed that he didn't feel as weak as previously, noticing that he's recovered a bit of his strength. "You said before that Redlight has helped you throughout the time you've been activated, right? I feel that he couldn't stand the fact that you were forced to take on criminals all by yourself, but I think he'll make that Gustav guy listen because what he's done goes against what the Brave Police are because like people, even police cops have others to back them up, like partners."

Radiant Prism glanced away at this, clearly feeling unsure about that. Even with Yuuta's words of encouragement, there was no getting through Gustav's skull on the facts about the Brave Police when she'd think about how much he tends to snub the other Commissioners of their respectful stations that his stuff is 'far better' than what the others have done. It gave her a bad taste as if she'd consumed contaminated jet fuel, and being helped by anyone other than Redlight and Dieter to some degree was foreign to her. It somewhat made her uncomfortable that she'd have to take on things that the others asked of her, but in the end it was what she was supposed to be programmed for aside from being a police officer. "...Maybe you're right." She eventually said. She shifted her gaze to the others, immediately noticing Yuuta smiling at her words. She then felt conflicted whether or not to say anything further because there was more to what she intends to say... But when she'd recall something about taking someone's smile away...

There just wasn't any way Gustav was going to listen, and she knew well that he wouldn't listen to even Redlight himself. The front part of her helmet hiding her optics as she looked down. "I... I'm not..."

Servos balling into a fist as she tried to say what was to come next, but the thought of what she wanted to say would turn Yuuta's smile into a frown stopped her from saying it. "Sorry, I need to be alone. I promise I won't go far from the city..." Surprising the others, Radiant Prism backed away from the others, then sprinted to the center where she leapt into the skies. "CHANGE!" In an instant, she then gunned her thrusters, taking off into the skies. While she has become more confident than before, there was still far too much going on in her helm with everything she has to tackle. Not long after she'd left, she could hear her comm badge go off, continuing to fly as if she didn't want to stop but answered regardless, knowing Deckerd was contacting her as she maintained her maximum mach speed.

-Radiant Prism, this is Deckerd. I understand that you need your space but all I ask of you is to make sure you return back to the station before it gets too dark. After what had happened before the last time, I'd prefer if you make sure to return immediately to prevent a repeat of what happened.-

Radiant Prism had been mostly tempted to not make any response whatsoever yet she could not bring herself to remain and gave her reply. "I'll keep that in mind." She told the Brave Detective. When the call ended, she felt silly for suddenly flying off like that, but was relieved in a sense that the others understood what she felt and what she was going through. Her thoughts lingering on it for a short time until she sensed something was up ahead, immediately registering that it was her support vehicle. Flying towards it, she initiated the combining sequence. Radiant Prism could sense it responding, and positioned herself accordingly to combine.

Once her combination completed and is now Aerial Radiance, she looked at herself, primarily her arms and legs. She did remember that Deckerd and Duke, alongside the Build Team and Gunmax became their combined or powered forms when dealing with difficult criminals, but she did admit that her output is much more stronger than that of when she was just by herself. '...I should get out before someone complains about me to Deckerd's team... But knowing I can still combine without issue means I'll be fine during the next attack regardless of who we're dealing with.' She thought, disengaging with her combined form and landing on top of it as she stared up at the night skies, unafraid of being so high up.

As the remainders of the sunset were starting to fade away into night, Radiant Prism had just returned to the station. The first thing she saw was Deckerd changing form, seeing it was time for him and Yuuta to return back to the residence. "Ah, Radiant Prism welcome back." He greeted as she nodded. She could watch as Yuuta climbed into Deckerd's interior, knowing it was time for them to leave as she stepped to the side. She hesitated on something, but she needed to speak to him in private about something. With the boy buckled up, Deckerd proceeding to turn on his headlights and began driving. "Deckerd?" On being addressed, he stopped and his headlight visuals focused on Radiant Prism after backing up just slightly. "What is it, Radiant Prism?"

"Would it trouble you to come back to the station after you've dropped Inspector?" Radiant Prism asked, trying not to hesitate as she needed to be honest about something. "I need to talk to you in private about something I wanted to say before I took off earlier..."

"Alright, I'll come back to the station right away." Deckerd acknowledged as he left. Radiant Prism watched the Brave Detective drive until he was out of sight. Now that she'd finally gotten it out of her systems to tell him about something in private, all she really had to do was wait. A voice called out to her, seeing that it was Rook who was gesturing her to come over and speak with them. On approach, Rook grinned as he spoke once she was within conversation range "You came back to the station at just the right moment, 'lass. We had a talk with Regina earlier and she informed us and we're going through a switch." Radiant Prism was confused at this, to which Ten took over while remaining glued to his handheld video game. "What he means is that we're going to head back to England, and others from our team are going to take our place in helping Deckerd and the others deal with this tricky criminal of yours. So far, we agreed that Ringo's-"

"Yeah, Ringo Diamond King of all Braves is coming over." Jack rolled his optics. "I can deal with the mangy cat back home but the last thing I need is King carving his initials into my arse." His words were enough to cause Rook to snicker at this, causing the tri-coloured Brave to shoot an angry glare but turned his attention back to Radiant Prism. "However, considering that now you're here love. Might as well get to know just how beautiful you are." Radiant Prism crossed her arms, knowing she needed to say something. "Jack, Rook, I want to personally thank you both for when I was in my most vulnerable moment after I've been... Battling what I had." She began slowly. "I was aware of the attack, and the firewalls combined with that virus kept trying to leash me down... But to me, survival is always a thing because I'm still a target to many... Even outside of my country."

"More than happy to help!" Rook grinned. "But the credit actually goes to Jack. He was supposed to come help deal with Shapeshifter but he stubbornly chose to stay here rather than go help us out when we were dealing with Shapeshifter. He did keep you safe in the end." He further added as Ten nodded, not peeling away from his video game to which annoyed Radiant Prism on seeing Ten wasn't properly looking at them.

Jack smirked, rather liking the ego stroking his teammates were. "Well, what kind of man would I be if I were to leave a lady at the mercy of criminals?"

'Why does he behave like this..?' She thought unhappily, then straightened herself up like that of a proper leader. "Do keep in mind I'm not some dainty, defenceless lady as you might be assuming, Jack. I am someone who knows how to fight in both normal and survival situations regardless if I'm armed or not." Radiant Prism stated coldly. "What I don't appreciate is this sort of attitude towards me, I am in no way someone who seeks a relationship because the duty of a police officer is far more important than mingling around like a fool looking for love." At her chosen set of words, Rook couldn't help but howl in laughter, even Ten couldn't help but laugh.

Jack couldn't help but stare, he didn't think that Radiant Prism would run him down into the ground like that in such a cold, leaderlike manner as she could see it in her optics that she was serious about every single word. His stun came to an end shortly after hearing his teammates burst into laughter. "PAUL, TEN, SHUT UP!"

"About time that a lady finally puts you in your place, Jack!" Ten managed to say throughout his fits of laughter, the two of them managing to calm themselves as they address Radiant Prism. "I think we should at least to get to better know Radiant Prism before we're due to return and the others take our place because who knows when we'll see her again." The yellow Brave pointed out, putting away his handheld game. "Let's head down to the break room so we can get out of the way of the mechanics." Once they relocated themselves back down to the new break room, the four of them talked and one by one the Scotland Yard members not only properly introduced themselves, but they also shared some quirks and abilities about them. Radiant Prism in return also introduced herself but wasn't sure what else she could share other than she's the only one stationed in the western part of her country all while explaining her situation more in detail, especially about the particular criminals both Jack and Rook engaged.

"That's no good... Who in their mind thinks that we're meant to tackle criminals on our own?" Rook frowned. "One way or another, we'll be forced to deal with the more difficult criminals and those three 'lads we dealt with were one example in which a good example is that Jack can't bring it down himself." It was distressing in a sense that there was a single Brave that was forced to take on the trouble all by themselves without any teammates to back them up. But, what they did to you is just... Abusive..."

"To think there are some corrupted cops out there that... That put us on limits by doing that sort of thing to our Super A.I. with little regard for any of us." Ten frowned, though seemed to brighten up slightly. "Because we're closer to Germany than Japan, maybe there's some way we can help you, if we were to ask this Redlight you've mentioned?"

Radiant Prism shook her helm. "I appreciate the assistance, but I don't think this is something one no one can help- Not even the Japanese Team..." She replied with a sigh. "I've given up a long time ago on seeking help for that even though I once believed Deckerd and the others could help as what Redlight instructed me to do when I flew all the way out here. But now that I feel like I've opened my optics better, I don't think that's even possible either. Maybe Redlight could have just sent me here to have Deckerd and the others teach me all there is to know what I'm supposed to be, but unfortunately there's no going back to Germany... Not when there is still the threat of the trio criminals hiding somewhere in this country that I need to deal with and deport. I just wish I knew where they were hiding so I can catch them off guard and finally complete what I failed to accomplish back home. Worst, the criminals are on a manhunt specifically targeting me."

"What? A manhunt?" Jack repeated. "I didn't think it was possible criminals would do that on a specific target, let alone a police officer."

Radiant Prism was about to explain further when her badge went off, pulling it out and answering. "This is Radiant Prism."

-I've just returned to the station, Radiant Prism. Come upstairs to the office so we may talk about what's on your mind.-

"Alright, I'll be there shortly." Closing her badge and storing it away, Radiant Prism stood up, thanking the three Scotland Yard members for spending time with her and has to go speak with Deckerd, bidding them farewell and that it was nice to properly get to know them, proceeding towards the direction of the lift.
