Ginny was sitting home by herself in her living room. She laid there on the couch, holding onto her forehead. She felt nothing more but stressed out, as well as extremely confused and bothered by the world around her right now.
Pablo just told her that she had feelings for her of all people, after all these years. So long while they were friends, he had feelings for her. She had no idea that Pablo really had feelings for her, and they were coming out to her now? She didn't even see this coming whatsoever, and always thought that Pablo had a crush on somebody else. She was so confused thanks to her own best friend right now.
As she was laying on the couch, she heard the sound of her phone ringing on the coffee table to her right. She picks it up, probably thinking that it was Pablo trying to call her, but since she rather not talk to him, she refused to pick up the phone. But just to see if it was Pablo, she picks it up anyway, only to see that it was only Vance calling her right now. Since he's not apart of this problem she's facing, she answered his call anyway.
"Hey, Ginny, I'm just on my lunch break." Vance said on the phone. "I was...just calling since you usually end up calling me first."
"Oh...sorry, Vance..." Ginny said, sounding depressed still. "I was just...a little bothered by something that has happened today..." She sat up from the couch, before continuing on about what had happened. "It might sound crazy to you, but...I went to Pablo, and...he had told me something that I'm shocked by."
"What did he say? Did he stop being friends with you?"
"No. He didn't say anything about stopping out friendship at all...he just..." The girl leans back on the couch. "...He just told me that he...had feelings for me for awhile, and...that he wasn't really dating Roxie Road at all..."
"Why would he lie to you about dating another girl? That just...doesn't make any sort of sense to me."
"How should I know?! I just figured out that Pablo was in love with me this morning, and..." The girl held the side of her head, nearly groaning in frustration. "...I'm just stuck in confusion by...just everything...because of what he told me. I always thought he just saw me as a friend, but...then he goes and tells me this right out of the blue...or...I figured it out thanks to Sapphire?"
"What did Sapphire do to make you realize this?"
"I told her all about the double date last night, and she saw nothing but some things that didn't seem right about Pablo and Roxie's date at all."
"Truthfully, even I kind of thought that Pablo being with Roxie was a bit out of nowhere, since he...really didn't seem into Roxie when you, me, him, and Katie went off to the Ice Cream Parlor last week."
"I guess you're right on that one...probably should've seen that coming..."
"Well, now what? Do you have feelings for Pablo, or you don't?"
"No! I...I don't have feelings for him, even if he told me his feelings, it doesn't mean I instantly have feelings for him back. I just find it crazy that he kept his feelings for me inside for so long into our friendship!" Ginny stands up from the couch, heading off to the kitchen to collect herself a drink. "I only saw him as a best friend and that's it. We might have the same interests, but that doesn't mean I'm actually into him, at all." Ginny opens the fridge, as Vance began to talk next.
"Hey, now calm down, Ginny. I know you're upset, but at least calm down..."
"How can I?! My best friend has been keeping it secret that he is in love with me for God only knows how long! How the hell am I suppose to calm down after knowing THAT?!"
Ginny stopped talking after yelling that on the phone. She sighed in a depressed manner, before pulling a can of Pepsi out of the fridge. She turns around, before walking over to the living room to sit back down on the couch.
"I'm sorry...I shouldn't have yelled at you like that..." Ginny mutters, before sighing once again. "All I can really say right now is that I feel like...I need some time to just think to myself, about what Pablo said. I still have feelings for you, but...I am just so confused right now, and I feel like it's only right that I just...need to be alone right now, alright?"
"Alright. I'm...sorry about what you're going through..." Vance said. "I'll stop by tomorrow, since you just want to be alone, alright?"
"Alright, sweetie. Thanks."
After their phone call ended, Ginny lays back down on the couch, looking at the ceiling. She held the side of her head, as she laid there, thinking to herself about what Pablo had said to her. After a couple moments of thinking to herself, Ginny just laid there and took a nap, not feeling like getting up from the couch just yet.
Later that night...
Sapphire was waiting in her house for Amber to arrive so that the two could talk. She was a little weary about what Amber wanted to talk to her about, but she could only imagine that it had something to do with Candy. If it really was something else, she had to know what it was.
While she was waiting for Amber to get to the house, Sapphire's mother enters the living room, seeing her daughter was pacing around to herself. Sapphire's mother has dark brown hair in a one ponytail, with a dark blue jacket, light blue skinny-jeans, and purple shoes. The woman looks at her daughter pacing around the living room, before finally talking.
"Sapphire, sweetie, what are you doing in the living room?" Sapphire's mother asked her daughter. The party girl stops pacing around the room, before looking over to her mother. "Are you waiting for Candy to arrive at our house?"
"Not Candy, mom, she's busy with a party down at Club Candy right now." The party girl said. "It's Amber who I'm waiting for."
"Amber?"
"I believe I mentioned her before. She's like, Candy's best friend, before she and I met." Sapphire stood by the window, looking out it to see if Amber was here yet. "She and Candy met each other back when the two were still in Augusta together. They never dated, thankfully."
"Then why's this Amber girl coming here?"
"Because of love advice, or...that's really what I'm assuming...most people talk to me about romance, and needing advice to try to get a boyfriend or girlfriend. So it wouldn't surprise me if she were to come here just for that alone." Sapphire stares out the window once again. "Anyways, Amber should be here at any time now."
"Alright."
"Oh...I see her coming up to the door right now."
Sapphire stood by the window, as her mother went up to the front door to allow Amber into the house. The party girl went to the side of the couch to greet Amber at, just as the girl entered the living room, finding Sapphire in there. Amber walked over to her, leaning on the back of the couch.
"So you came." Sapphire said, looking at Amber. The girl nodded her head.
"Yeah." Amber said, shrugging.
"So what do you want to talk about?"
"It's about...well, romance."
"I had a feeling you were here for that." The party girl smiles, before sitting down on the couch, patting the other cushion. "Sit down next to me, Amber." The other girl went to sit next to the party girl, ready to have their conversation. "So tell me, Amber...who is the person that you have a crush on?"
"Well...this is going to sound crazy but..."
Sapphire saw Amber scratch the back of her neck, wondering how she was going to approach her with who she had a crush on right now. She had a bad feeling that it really was going to be Candy, considering that she had just gotten back together as friends with her, so to her, it wasn't far-fetched. Regardless of this, Sapphire sat there, allowing the girl to speak her mind.
"...It's Zack." Amber said, catching Sapphire off-guard.
"You're in love with Zack? Really?" Sapphire asked her.
"Yes, and...I know it's kind of...dumb of me to even say, considering that he's not my type, but...just something about him...you know?"
"Go on, Amber." Sapphire leans her head to the left, hearing the girl talk some more.
"It's just that outside of him being a partier, I want to get to know him a lot more...like, on a date, you know? But...I don't know...apart of me says that THAT would be a complete mistake if I go ask him out."
"Amber...if you ask me, in relationships, there are no mistakes. I thought that me and Candy would've been a mistake, but after we had our first date, I knew it was meant to be." Sapphire chuckles, before patting Amber on her back. "If you actually do go and ask Zack out, I know for a fact that it won't be."
"But what if he says no?" Sapphire taps her chin to that question, wondering how to respond to that being asked. But then she spoke, hoping that what is said might help.
"Well, if he says no, all I can say is that there's always the next boy to ask out. Just got to find the right boy if a relationship will happen or not. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it just doesn't." Sapphire smiled, before looking at Amber again. "Zack on the other hand, he's not been good at trying to get a girl to go out with him. So I think he'd be fine with you being his girlfriend."
"He didn't try to go out with you or Candy before?"
"Well, no...Candy was already into girls the time they met, and...well, I like, was totally discovering that I too am into the same gender as mine. After that, he's been trying to find a different girlfriend. So far, like, nothing yet."
"Oof...sorry to hear about that..." Amber smiled, before crossing her arms, leaning on her own knees. "Well, do you think I'd be good enough for him?"
"Well, we'll just have to see to find out, Amber."
"Alright. So...how do I tell him?"
"Zack's clearly busy at the club with the party going on there, so...I personally feel like we should wait until we try to get you and Zack together."
"Alright. Where does Zack want to go tomorrow?"
"Well, I'll talk to Zack on the phone after the party tonight. Make sure you meet up with me, Candy, and Zack wherever we go to tomorrow, okay?"
"Okay."
After all of that was said and done, Amber got off of the couch. She walks over to the walkway out of the living room, before turning her head towards Sapphire once again. She gave her a smile, before being ready to leave her house.
"It's really nice of you to help me on this one, Sapphire. I've always been focused on trying to find a job that I forgotten to think about dating as well." Amber said, before chuckling to herself. "I just hope that you can be able to get me together with Zack." Sapphire nods at Amber's words
"Don't worry, when it comes to romance, I can help with starting relationships." Sapphire said, happily.
Amber then left the house after that was said. Sapphire stood up from the couch, before walking over to the window to see Amber heading off to the sidewalk, getting on the city bus. She then closes the curtains, before sighing.
"Alrighty then. Trying to get Amber and Zack together." Sapphire said, before walking over to the couch. "This might be a little bit difficult, but if she likes the only boy that Candy hangs out with regularly, then I have to try to see if I can get those two together." Sapphire picks up her phone, smiling to herself. "Like, totally a piece of cake...despite the fact that partying isn't really Amber's interest." The girl places her phone in her pocket, before heading off to the stairs to go and get some rest now.
