All over the streets of New York, hundreds of foot-bots on motorcycles rode through them in search of the turtles and the Avatar under Shredder's orders. Tiger Claw was on a motorcycle leading one group, Fishface was on another motorcycle leading another group, and Bebop and Rocksteady were roaming the streets in their van.

Rahzar was jumping off roofs and stopping occasionally to sniff the air for certain smells. At one of his stops, he managed to detect those same smells he had been looking for hours.

"Mmm, they're close." Rahzar said.

At that moment, he heard the sound of tires screeching. Looking down the street, he could see the Shellraiser moving at full speed. Which brought a big smile to his face.

Rahzar pulled out a communication device. "Tiger Claw, guess what I found." Rahzar said with a mischievous smile.

Inside the Shellraiser, the turtles, their teenage friends, Team Avatar and the young airbenders were inside, ready in case Shredder's forces showed up.

Korra sat with Asami at her side, wrapping one arm around her as she let her lean on her shoulder.

"Donnie, how's the inducer coming?" Leo asked.

Donnie opened a small compartment in the floor, revealing the dimensional inducer connected to the motor inside.

"The load is at 25%, a little more and we should make a direct jump to Republic City." Donnie said.

"I just hope we can make it in time." said Mako.

"How much time does Korra have left?" Jinora asked.

"About five hours, but it seems like her energy is running out too fast." Donnie said.

Korra looked down in concern and Asami linked her hand with hers.

"Don't worry, you'll get better. I promise." said Asami, smiling to encourage her.

Korra smiled at her intention. "Thank you." said Korra.

"It may be too soon to say." said Karai when she saw multiple red dots on the screen approaching them. "We have company."

Going behind the Shellraiser, Tiger Claw and his group pointed their guns at the turtles' vehicle.

"Capture the Avatar alive! Kill the rest!" Tiger Claw ordered as they began firing.

The vehicle was a little shaken by the impact of the shots.

"Raph! Mako! Bolin! Rear guard!" said Leo.

"We're on it!" said Raph, standing with the bender brothers.

"I'm coming with you. I won't let you have all the fun again." said Casey going with them.

The Shellraiser's back door opened, showing Raph in his turret with Mako, Bolin and Casey on either side. Both they and Tiger Claw shared a narrow, straightforward look.

"Make it rain, boys." Raph shouted before the three began firing manhole covers, fireballs, rocks, lava shurikens and exploding disks. While half of the foot-bots were thrown out of the way by the shots, Tiger Claw was able to maneuver deftly, dodging every attack that was thrown at him.

And every time he fired his weapon, Mako and Bolin used their respective elements to protect themselves.

Inside the Shellraiser, April looked up at the radar.

"Leo! More coming from the left!" April reported.

Outside, on that side, was Fishface and his group, driving parallel to the Shellraiser and beginning to shoot at the vehicle.

"I'll take care of them." said Karai.

"Wait, Karai." Jinora said, but the kunoichi didn't hear her and stepped into a certain compartment.

From the front of the Shellraiser, Karai was riding the Shellcycle. Something that Fishface and his foot-bots noticed.

Karai made a U-turn and went straight at them. Fishface quickly turned the other way, causing Karai to crash into some foot-bots, destroying them in the process.

Both of them stared at each other before driving around in circles, with each following the other's path. Fishface and Karai pulled out their respective guns and began shooting at each other, but the speed was so high that they avoided all shots.

Fishface stopped shooting before changing direction and driving away. Karai followed soon after.

All of this was seen by the two sister airbenders.

"We can't leave her alone." Jinora said with determination.

"You're right." said Ikki with determination.

Jinora opened the door of the Shellraiser, which caught everyone's attention.

"What are you doing?" asked Mikey.

"We are going to help Karai." Jinora said.

"What? No! It's too dangerous!" said Korra.

But the two didn't listen to her and jumped out of the vehicle and before touching the ground, formed an air scooter to move quickly to where the kunoichi had gone.

"No! We have to stop!" Korra said with concern.

"We can't do it! We have to keep going!" said Leo.

"But they..." Korra began.

"Don't worry. Karai will make sure they come back safely." said Mikey.

"Besides, my sisters are stronger than they look." said Meelo.

Korra was still worried about them, just as an older sister would worry about her younger siblings, but Meelo was right. They were no longer the kids she knew when she arrived in Republic City, they were now expert airbenders. The only thing she could do at that point was to trust them to stay safe.

"How's it going, Donnie?" Leo asked.

"Almost 50 %. We're getting closer and closer." Donnie said.

Suddenly, everyone felt a thump coming from the right.

"What happened?" Leo asked.

Meelo stepped up to the screen to see what had happened.

"It's Bebop and Rocksteady." Meelo said.

"How do you know?" asked Donnie, recalling that he never had an encounter with those two mutants.

"There's a van outside that says 'Bebop and Rocksteady'." said Meelo.

"Wait, those guys are called Bebop and Rocksteady and they're in a van that has, literally, their name written on it." asked Asami in surprise and questioning the intelligence of those two mutants.

"Those two are idiots." said Korra.

The mutant duo's van was driving parallel to the Shellraiser on the right side.

"Now is the time, Steranko!" warned Bebop from the driver's seat.

The side door opened, revealing Rocksteady with a machine gun aimed at the turtles' vehicle.

"It's time to take them down." Rocksteady said as he pulled the trigger.

But before that happened, something hit the van from behind. Both Foot mutants looked back (Bebop out the window) to see the Party Wagon, the vehicle of the Mighty Mutanimals, with Rockwell in the driver's seat, Splinter in the co-driver's seat and Leatherhead over the vehicle, because he was too big for the interior along with Slash.

Rockwell peeked out of his window seat.

"Leatherhead, I think those two need a little driving lesson." Rockwell said.

"It'll be a pleasure." Leatherhead said before jumping into the van in front.

Before he could do anything, Rocksteady was grabbed by Leatherhead and lifted into the air before being thrown a short distance in front of the van and then Leatherhead quickly jumped back into the Party Wagon.

Bebop was surprised to see his partner standing closer and closer to the van and squealed like a pig. The surprise was so great that he didn't have time to step on the brakes, which caused him to crash into the mutant rhino, which was so hard and big that it caused the van to turn in the air and fall to the ground face up.

Both mutants moaned as they tried to get up after a huge accident.

The Party Wagon now ran parallel to the Shellraiser.

"Leonardo, we will help you clear the way." said Splinter speaking through his T-Phone.

Back in the Shellraiser, Leo had just received the message from his sensei.

"Splinter and the Mutanimals are helping us out." Leo said.

"That's a relief." Mikey said cheerfully.

"It's nice to have friends to count on." said Asami.

"Donnie, how far are we?" asked April.

"68% and rising." Donnie said, watching the inducer shine brighter and brighter as the percentage rose.

Korra was happy to know there were many people willing to help them, but with each passing minute, she felt more and more exhausted and was using all her efforts to keep her eyes open.

Returning to the back, the four boys continued to launch their attacks on Tiger Claw and his group. Although Mako and Bolin had unlimited ammunition due to their powers of bending, Raph and Casey had limited ammunition and were already running out.

"I'm running out of records." Casey said.

"I'm the same! Hey! Can someone give us a hand back here?" Raph asked.

Meelo heard that and sat down at Donnie's station. He took a look at the number of buttons on the screen, gawking for a moment before concentrating on the situation at hand.

Although now that he thought about it, he had no idea how anything worked.

"Well. One of these buttons has to do something useful. Let's try this one." Meelo said, pressing a button.

However, when he pressed it, rock music started playing inside the vehicle at full volume, making everyone (except Leo, who was driving) cover their ears and look at Meelo.

Meelo quickly pressed the same button to turn off the sound while giving everyone a shy smile.

"I'm sorry." Meelo said before focusing on the buttons again. "Maybe this..." started Meelo by pressing another button.

Luckily, what that button did was squirt a jet of oil down the road they were leaving behind, leaving a slippery trail that served to make the remaining foot-bots slip.

Tiger Claw was doing its best to remain stable in spite of the oil.

"Hey Tiger Claw!" a voice called to Tiger Claw's attention, who looked up to see Pete in the back of the Party Wagon with a cake in his hand. "Take a little present!" said Pete, throwing the cake in his face.

The cake temporarily blinded him and distracted him enough that he ended up slipping in the oil, derailing, and flying into a nearby dumpster.

"Ha. Pie in the face. A classic." Raph said, laughing at the mutant dove act. "And thanks for the help, kid." said Raph looking into the Shellraiser.

"No problem." said Meelo.

Suddenly, the heroes inside the Shellraiser noticed a crash from the roof. Donnie looked at the screen to see who it was.

"We've got Rahzar on the roof!" Donnie said.

Leo activated his T-Phone. "Slash, we need coverage up there!" Leo said.

On top of the turtles' vehicle, Rahzar tried to open the hatch, but noticed something coming out of the corner of his eye and jumped back to avoid it in time. He looked up to see Slash in front of him.

"I'm sorry, doggie, but this cab is taken." Slash said.

"Don't meddle in matters that don't concern you, Slash." Rahzar said.

"I'm sorry, Bradford, but my friends need me and I can't let them down." Slash said.

"So be it." Rahzar said, preparing his claws.

Slash tried to hit him with his weapon, but Rahzar dodged him by jumping on the mutant turtle and landing behind him. The mutant dog tried to cut him down with his claws, but Slash's shell turned quickly and fell out of the way.

Karai and Fishface continued to run through the streets, running parallel to each other as they shot at each other.

Unknown to them, the foot-bots with the mutant fish were being attacked by Jinora and Ikki. The older sister launched a powerful air current that sent half of them crashing into a wall while the middle sister sent a blast of wind that destroyed the remaining foot-bots.

Meanwhile, Karai hit the brakes, slowing down to go right behind Fishface. The mutant fish was unable to defend itself in this situation and that's when an idea came to him.

He stood up on his bike and then took a powerful leap backwards. It seemed that the scene was in slow motion as Fishface did a somersault in the air and fell into the Shellcycle, just behind Karai.

Fishface's bike crashed into a streetlight while Fishface wrapped his arm around the throat of the kunoichi, who tried to free herself from him.

"Master Shredder has been waiting for you to come back." said Fishface.

"Tell him to keep waiting!" said a voice that caught the attention of the kunoichi and the mutant fish.

Fishface looked up in time to receive a kick in Jinora's face, sending him falling unconscious onto a pile of garbage.

Karai quickly stopped the Shellcycle and rubbed her neck before staring in surprise at Jinora and Ikki approaching her.

"Jinora? Ikki? What are you doing here?" asked Karai, trading her surprise for anger.

"We came to help you." said Jinora.

"And from the looks of it, we have." said Ikki, pointing to the wreckage of foot-bots in the street.

Karai beat herself mentally for forgetting about Fishface's troops. I had to thank the girls for their help, but they had no time to waste.

"Whatever. Go upstairs quickly, we have to go back." Karai said.

They didn't have to think twice when the two airbender sisters got on the Shellcycle (although they had to squeeze in because the vehicle wasn't built to carry three people) and Karai drove back to the Shellraiser to join the others.

Slash and Rahzar continued to fight on the roof. Slash moved pretty fast for someone of his size and volume, being able to dodge the mutant dog's attacks and every time he tried to hit him with his weapon, he dodged it by jumping aside.

Moving behind the mutant turtle, Rahzar tried to cut it off with his claws, but his shell was too hard and thick to be affected.

Slash quickly turned around expecting to hit him with his morning star, but Rahzar jumped back to avoid him and lunged at Slash quickly before he could react, knocking him down with one claw holding his neck and the other holding the hand that had the weapon.

"I would have preferred one of them, but you'll do for now." Rahzar said, opening his mouth to take the fatal bite.

But suddenly, a cry caught the attention of both mutants. They turned to see Meelo jump towards the mutant dog with his arm drawn back and an air ball covering his fist.

Meelo hit the mutant dog in the face and then a strong air current sent Rahzar flying away from Slash and the Shellraiser. Sending him to crash into a wall so strong that his upper half went inside.

"Are you okay?" Meelo asked.

"Thanks to you, kid." Slash said, standing up. "And I have to say that was a good hit."

Meelo smiled gratefully at the words of the mutant turtle.

Meelo returned to the interior of the Shellraiser at the same time that the Shellcycle returned to the vehicle, allowing Karai, Jinora and Ikki to return to the interior as well.

"Is everyone okay?" Korra asked.

"We're fine." said Karai.

"You should ask Fishface about that." said Ikki.

Raph's turret went back inside, along with Casey, Mako and Bolin. Finally, everyone was back in the vehicle.

"Donnie, how much do we have left?" asked Mako.

"94%! Just a little more!" Donnie said.

"Great. Looks like we'll be able to go home." said Bolin.

"Eh... Bolin." Leo said with a horrified expression as he looked ahead on the road.

The others approached to see what he meant and all gasped when they saw that, at the other end of the street, there were many dozens of foot-bots armed with guns and turrets and, in the center of all of them, was Hakan with his massive swords. All prepared to stop the vehicle by hook or by crook, more by hook.

"Okay. I'll shut up." said Bolin.

"Donnie?" they all asked in unison.

"97%! We're almost there!" said Donnie.

"It's okay. It's now or never. Fasten your seat belts!" said Leo before he activated his T-Phone. "Sensei, hook up the Party Wagon to the Shellraiser and get ready for the jump."

Back in the Party Wagon, Slash and Leatherhead got inside the vehicle, although they had to squeeze each other to fit inside.

"We're all in!" Splinter told Rockwell.

"Copy that. Connecting cable!" said Rockwell before pressing a button.

As he did so, a thick wire connected to a kind of magnet was thrown forward, sticking to the back of the Shellraiser. Rockwell made a quick check to see that the wire was securely fastened.

"Leonardo, we're hooked up and ready to go!" Splinter said through the T-Phone.

"We're getting closer and closer." Korra said as she saw how quickly they were approaching the blockade of the Foot.

"Donnie!" they all shouted together.

"100%! DO IT NOW!" shouted Donnie.

Leo quickly pulled a lever, which made the inducer begin to shine almost as bright as the sun.

Before the Shellraiser and the Party Wagon crashed into the block, both vehicles passed at light speed, resulting in a flash of light that forced Hakan to cover his eyes. When he opened them, he was surprised when all he saw on the street were burning tire tracks.

"*Sigh*Lord Shredder isn't going to like it at all." Hakan said.

From the outside, the Shellraiser, along with the connected Party Wagon, traveled through the same tunnel the turtles first traveled through.

No one stopped to look at that because they were busy screaming at the top of their lungs, while some of them hugged each other. In the Party Wagon they were in a similar situation.

"LEO, HIT THE BRAKES! HIT THE BRAKES!" Raph shouted out loud, hoping his brother would hear.

He did, and when he hit the brakes hard, both vehicles were pulled out of the tunnel, but they were going so fast that when they reached the other side, they fell to the ground and ended up rolling on a mountainous floor until, a couple of minutes later, both vehicles stopped upside down.

The doors of the party wagon opened. The Mutanimals fell to the ground while Splinter fell on one knee while taking a deep breath.

The doors of the Shellraiser also opened and all its passengers fell to the ground, one on top of the other.

"Let's never... ever... do that again." Mako said, moaning.

"OK." said the others.

Meelo stood up from the pile with his eyes open and a big smile on his face.

"WOHOO! That was the coolest thing I've ever lived!" said Meelo.

Mikey was the next to get up with the same expression.

"That was like a million roller coasters!" said Mikey.

"Can we do it again?" the two asked at the same time.

"NO!" replied the others, even Splinter.

Slowly, everyone stood up and looked around.

"Are we back?" asked April.

It was then that Bolin noticed something in the distance.

"Guys, look!" said Bolin pointing to the horizon.

The others followed his gaze to see a familiar column of light.

"It's the spiritual gateway to Republic City." Jinora said with a smile.

"Yes! We've come home!" said Ikki.

Almost everyone applauded as they saw that they had achieved their goal of returning to that world.

Korra smiled and tried to get up, but soon after she felt her legs fail and fell to the ground again. Which everyone noticed and approached her with concern.

"Korra, are you okay?" asked Asami.

"I-I'm very tired. I really want to sleep." Korra said in a tired voice, much to the concern of others.

"Her energy seems to be very low." said Leo.

"We must go to town right away." said Splinter.

Mako picked up Korra in bridal style to transport her.

"Wait a minute, we're almost there." said Asami, receiving a smile from her girlfriend.

Without wasting any time, everyone got into their respective vehicles and sped off to Republic City in search of transportation to their main destination.

Tenzin and Lin were at that time driving through the streets. Even though the turtles and others had gone to the other world to rescue Korra, Tenzin couldn't help but be worried all the time, especially since his children were with them.

"Relax, Tenzin. The turtles and the kids are with them, plus we've seen how good Splinter is." said Lin trying to reassure him.

"I know. I know they're very skilled, as are my children, but I'm not just worried about them, I'm worried about Korra, I don't want to imagine what Shredder might do to her." Tenzin said.

"Although it may not seem like it, I'm worried about her too. From what you told me about that man, he must surely be the worst of the worst. If I ever meet him, I'll make him pay for his crimes." Lin said.

"I just hope everyone comes back safely." Tenzin said.

Suddenly, Lin stopped the vehicle near an intersection when they began to hear a ruckus through the streets along with engine noises and tire screeches. Shortly thereafter, her response came when the Shellraiser and the Party Wagon crossed the street perpendicular to them at high speed, dodging all the vehicles on the road.

"Call me crazy, but that had the turtles' names written all over it." Lin said.

"Something must be going on. Follow them." Tenzin said.

"You don't have to tell me." Lin said, starting the vehicle and driving in the same direction as the two vehicles.

A few minutes later, Lin and Tenzin arrived at the spot where both vehicles stopped. In the landing zone, near the Future Industries airship.

Lin and Tenzin got out of the vehicle in time to see the others getting out of the Shellraiser. Needless to say, they were both surprised when they saw the Mutanimals.

The Mutanimals also noticed the two adults who had just arrived in the area.

"Uh... are we coming in peace?" asked Slash trying not to scare them or even attack them.

"Dad!" shouted Jinora, Ikki and Meelo running to their father.

"Children!" said Tenzin surprised and happy to see his children safe and sound.

"Can anyone tell me who the new ones are?" asked Lin, pointing to the Mutanimals.

"Oh. They are our friends. They are Slash, Leatherhead, Rockwell and Pete; the Mighty Mutanimals." explained Ikki.

"A pleasure, madam." said Rockwell.

"Great, more mutants." Lin said sarcastically.

"What's going on?" Tenzin asked.

"We have to go see Grandma." said Jinora.

"Your grandmother? Why?" asked Tenzin, confused that they would ask that soon after returning from another world.

Her answer came when she saw Mako carrying an exhausted Korra. Just by seeing her, he could tell that something serious had happened in the other world.

"We have to go to the South Pole NOW!" Leo said, pointing out that it was an urgent situation.

After putting the Shellraiser and the Party Wagon in the blimp and making the necessary preparations, the blimp ascended into the air and set a course for the South Pole at full speed to reach the person who could heal Korra before it was too late.

In the throne room of the Foot's lair, Tiger Claw knelt in front of his master while Hakan bowed in respect.

"Master Shredder, I am sorry to inform you that they have managed to escape." said Tiger Claw.

Shredder was frustrated by this information.

"After what I have seen and what I have been told, it is very likely that they have returned to Republic City, to my world." Hakan added.

Shredder rose from his throne.

"Who were with them?" Shredder asked.

"From the reports, I would say that the people accompanying the Avatar, the two human turtle friends, Splinter, Karai and the Mutanimals." explained Tiger Claw.

"Excellent." Shredder said to the confusion and surprise of the mutant tiger and the general.

"Master?" asked Tiger Claw.

"Gather them all together. Let every mutant and soldier we have at our disposal be here as soon as possible." Shredder said.

"Do you plan to go and capture the Avatar again?" Hakan asked, having a theory of what the leader of the Foot was planning to do.

"Not this time, Hakan. Not only will we finish off the turtles and their allies, as well as Hamato Yoshi, but also the Avatar and her friends." said Shredder.

That left the only two present more confused.

"I don't understand, lord Shredder. I thought I wanted to have the Avatar as a foot warrior." said Hakan, not clear about his intentions.

"I will give all the details when everyone is gathered." explained Shredder.

Before anyone could ask anything else, Stockman flew into the room and looked very happy.

"I did it! I'm a geniuzzzz! I did it!" Stockman shouted with joy.

"What's wrong, Stockman,?" asked Shredder, having no time for nonsense and even more so when he gave him an important job.

"I've done it, mazzzzter. I've been able to find a way to make uzzzz into benderzzzz." Stockman said.

"Then can you turn us all?" Tiger Claw asked, impressed that he had succeeded.

"Unfortunately, becauzzzze of the zzzzmall amount I got from the Avatar, I wazzzz only able to make one dozzzze for one perzzzzon." Stockman said, hoping that he wouldn't be punished for it.

"That's more than enough." said Shredder, satisfied with the work of the mutant fly.

"And if I may, if only one of us can get the bending skills, I think lord Shredder should be the one." Hakan said.

"For once, I agree with him." said Tiger Claw.

"So, do I." Shredder said, because he wouldn't tolerate anyone volunteering for such power before him. "When can you start, Stockman?" Shredder asked.

"I juzzzzt need to prepare everything and we can zzzztart the procezzzz, but firzzzzt, I need to know zzzzomething. Thankzzzz to the Avatar's zzzzample, I can give him control over one of the four elementzzzz. So, I azzzzk you, which element do you prefer?" asked Stockman.

"I choose... the air." said Shredder.
