Connor felt [deviant] strangely off kilter after talking to Ralph, but put it aside. He was here to look around and see if he could fine any more information or clues that he had missed.

Connor quickly scanned the outside of the building before heading into the abandoned building. It had been an office building, but had long before fallen into disrepair. It was...still in a state of disrepair, with none of the 3D printers or repair stations at the New Jericho main building. Many of the buildings near the church had been taken over as they needed it, and they had set themselves up for self-sufficiency as much as possible.
There was...little to none of that here. Androids like Ralph, too [deviant] unstable due to whatever trauma they had endured in the camps or while in hiding had fled here, away from others. And they watched him, huddled in their corners, in the way that only androids did, openly and not looking away.
One android, one of the child models, stared at him from behind a WR600 gardening model android, clutching at the WR600's shirt as Connor went by, his LED cycling red-red-red.
Others...there was a group of them, in a corner, who had been disfigured in some way, as if someone had been taking them apart and putting them back together wrong, in ways beyond repair.

The choices were glitching in strange, jolting ways, and Connor didn't quite know what to do with this place, now that he had found it. He had known of it, as simply a building, due to the patrols, but no one had ever gone inside because there had seemed to be no reason - no one here had asked for help, and there had not been any problems, and the assumption had been this building on the very outskirts of New Jericho was empty. But it wasn't. The androids here had just...slipped through the cracks, somehow. Or had perhaps flung themselves into the cracks and kept their heads down, and tried to go unseen.
[Observe]
It was dark, it was dirty, it was hidden, and for some of the androids here...that meant safety.
Connor felt like he had failed, somehow. Like he should have long ago found this place, but none of them had looked. He had been the one organizing the patrols, turning the former police androids into a kind of organized security force, and yet they had missed this.
How many other buildings that they had assumed were empty weren't?
[Observe]
The child android was still staring at him, his LED still cycling red-red-red, and Connor realized there was more to be done than in New Jericho than anyone in the Church had realized. And that he had a mistake to rectify.
