A Thawed Heart

Weiss has just returned to Argus, to where she was living with her boyfriend, Neptune. She finished a mission that involved rescuing hostages in a train. But not before running into Juno Vasilias, Neptune's elder sister. And since they greeted, Juno has dragged her to her mother's home to give her a nice dress that Neptune instructed to give her before she gets home, without telling her.

"I appreciate you giving me the dress, Juno. Thank you." Weiss contacted Juno from her scroll while walking to the beach on the way to meet Neptune. "Well, don't thank me. I did not pick that for you. I was told to give it to you." She explains.

"If that wasn't you. Then who picked it out for me?" She asked. Confused for why Juno did not chose the dress when she hands it to him. "Oh, you're gonna have to wait and see when you get to the house. Catch ya later, I have to apprehend one of my exes before he gets into any more trouble."

"Ok, see you later." Weiss hangs up as she stepped forward to the house. Strangely enough. There are white rose pedals trailing to the front door of the beach house. She blinked two time to see if that is not her imagination as she picks one pedal up. "Rose pedals? Here?" She inquired to herself.

She then looks up to see them leading to the front door of the house. As she knocks on the door, it was a blue-haired young man her age. Only a bit taller than her. He has stunning dark blue eyes and wearing a white dress shirt and black trousers. Holding a bouquet of flowers in his hands in front of Weiss. "Happy Valentine's Day, my Snow Angel." He smiled. "Glad you like the dress I have picked out for you." Said Neptune, it made sense that Neptune was the one who handed the dress to Juno and told her to give it to her for a special night.

"That was you? You picked it out for me?" Asked Weiss, in surprise when noticing a table for two with a candle in the middle lit. Turns out it was a romantic dinner he planned. Pecan cream soup. And a salmon he made. "Neptune...You don't have to..." She was cut off as Neptune interjects.

"Before you say anything. I wanted to let you know something. The moment we met, I am not sure what I have felt about you. But what I admired most about you is not because of your name, or how you look. But with you, Weiss. You taught me that there is no shame to open up, you taught me how to overcome my fears so far. I am still working on it. I know I was a bit of a flirt, okay, maybe too much from the start. It's your determination that counts." He said.

"You've changed a lot since Shade Academy. I never seen you progressed this far. What I love about you, Neptune, is that you never cared for my wealth, or my name. You have love me for me. And I love you for you." She said, slowly taking the bouquet from his hand as he takes out a black box revealing a diamond ring. Much to her further surprise.

He knelt down and holds out the ring. And you can guess what happens next. "Weiss Schnee, will you marry me?" He asked. Weiss then threw herself into his arms. "Yes!" She exclaimed. Then pressed her lips against his as they parted. Then Neptune skips the ring through her finger and looked into her eyes.

They then sat on the table for dinner to continue. But what's distracting them from the soup is each other. As they stopped eating and stare at one another. Then it ends with a smile on their expression. Before turning back to the plate. "So when do you think our wedding should be?" Asked Weiss.

"Anytime you want, Snow Angel." He replied, gently.
