Episode 0.01: Jack Prologue
"Alright, sir. What do you want me to do?" a young man said. He looked to a man of about 30 years old. He held chakrams in his hands ready to fight.
"See if you can blow me into the skies, Jack." the man said. He stood as prepared as a man could be. The stance he assumed could be described as a split, but in such a way you could still resist the strongest winds.
"Alright. Gotta warn ya, tho. This is about to get very rough." Jack said. He fired a blast of air magic at the man. The man, who was called Arnold, was pretty determined to not fly up into the sky. This went on for a good five minutes before his legs caved in and he flew up.
Arnold fell on the ground. "Well done, young man. Now you will go up against my daughter with your chosen weapons."
"You do know you gave me pretty much zero experience with the use of those chakrams, right, Arnold?" Jack said. "No need for experience. Chakrams are as free as the wind. You know how to use them faster than you can say you can't." Arnold replied. Jack stood there, analyzing his teacher's words. He couldn't make sense of it all, even though it was three months since he started his training. In that time, he got into a relationship with Arnold's daughter, Alice. He wanted to protect the ones he loved most from people or things that could harm them, so he enrolled into his training.
"No going easy on me, okay? I don't want to lose to someone who wasn't fighting at full power." Alice interrupted.
"Gotcha. I'll make sure I'll just know the ropes of this weapon..." Jack replied.
"So you were trying to make sense of what my father said just now. Don't worry about that, it'll come to you. That will make you more powerful during our fight." Alice assured Jack it would be okay.
"Okay. You're right. I got this. To a fair fight, Alice. I'll treat you if I win... or lose. My position at the end of this fight depens what happens." Jack said awkwardly.
"No more small talk. Your final exam is against my daughter. Defeat her and you graduate to Alice's level." Arnold said with a stern pitch in his voice.
Jack was caught off guard. "Yes, sir!" Jack said scared. Alice giggled.
Jack was handed his weapons, since he didn't learn to summon his weapons from nothingness using his learned element. He stood in a fighting stance as Alice summoned her weapons, throwing knives, from the ground. "Ready...?"
"No backing down now!" Alice called out. "Go!" The two student ran at each other full force. Jack threw his chakram at Alice who slid under the projectile. She threw the throwing knives in her right hand at him in retaliation. He barely dodged the knives and held his other chakram in defense. "You're getting better, just like my father said." Alice said. "Thanks for the compliment and no offense, but we have bigger things to worry about right now." Jack replied. "True. You still need to think about how you're treating me after this is over." Alice said. "That's a healthy amount of ego. But her strength isn't to talk smack about. One wrong move and I'm toast..." Jack thought to himself.
"Wait a minute..." Jack muttered. "What was that? Afraid you'll lose?" Alice retorded. in response to that Jack fired a wind blast at Alice and his second chakram simultaneously. "What!?" Alice screamed. "He's learning the more he uses those things... Impressive, considering I can't wield these chakrams of his." Arnold mused.
Alice lands on the ground, clearly hurt. Her semi-long blonde hair was ruffled to the point where she looked like any shonen anime protagonist. "Good job. I guess you passed." Alice said tired.
"I knew you could do it. Here's your graduation present." Arnold said. "Really? We're still treating me like a kid?" Jack replied with a smirk. He opened a box that was presented before him. It had a display of a gust of wind. Perfect for the country they were in. In that box was a lime green coat, styled after the color of his hair. "Amazing..." Jack said flabberghasted.
"It was black first. We painted it when we saw your favorite color being lime green." Arnold said. "How did you...?" Jack replied. "You are wearing something lime green every time we see you. It's a wonder the crazy people in this town haven't mistaken you for the inside of a cucumber." Alice interrupted.
"Fair enough. Say no more." Jack said laughing. "You must be hungry. I'll whip something up for you." Arnold suggested. "No need. I promised your daughter I'd treat her to something. It just so happened to be a win-win for the both of us, since I just so happened to have a back-up plan if I lost." Jack replied.
"And what was that back-up plan?" Arnold asked.
"I'm afraid you're not getting to know today, good sir." Jack said.
"Have fun, you two." Arnold said with a smile on his face.
A few hours later, Alice and Jack are eating in an Italian restaurant. "Why don't you put the coat on?" Alice asked.
"For one, I don't know how, and second, we're in a restaurant. I'm not putting that on now. Which reminds me, I've never seen you wear anything other than the coat. What's the story behind it?" Jack said. "Family tradition. My dad founded an organization and started training me when I was very young. He told me it was tradition for me to wear it at all times." Alice told jack about the symbolism behind Arnold's organization and it's purpose. Jack thought about how he was willing to help out. "Well, you guys can count on me." Jack said reassuredly.
At home, Jack decided to try on is new coat. he threw it on himself and... The person in front of the mirror looed like a badass. "Well, gotta text alice with a picture. This looks sweet!" Jack called out. Jack texted a photo of himself and went to bed.
The next morning he got a text from Alice. "Looks good on you. Meet at my house?" the text read. Jack scoffed and grabbed his stuff.

Prepare yourself for... Alice's prologue
For the record, I'm posting these prologues now because every original characters has a backstory which are totally crazy and sometimes(I admit it) an asspull. Just making it clear these prologues are in chronological order before the story even start(for world and character building).
