Two pairs of strong eyes glared into each other, as Y/N stood there gawking at the woman. With a sigh, Kurimi closed her eyes and figured there was no way of getting out of the situation. A smirk formed on her glossy lips and her eyes glinted with an ominous emotion. "You'll find them in the forest... Not too far to our right. But, I won't let you get to them unless we have an exchange,~" she explained and stuffed her hands inside her sleeves.
"I will not lend you Y/N..." Sesshi got in front of Y/N and made her blink in surprise. Her face grew even redder at the thought of feeling his strong backside pressed against her and his one arm keeping her from gaining any ounce of space between them. His golden eyes sharpened with caution and anger, he was beginning to get tired of them hunting her down. He had half the mind to go looking for this main villain just so he could rip their head off and end the whole thing, but no, he can't get rid of the threat... No one could, except Y/N.
"No, no, no no.~ Not her... My boss only needs her blood,~ If he cannot have her physical form, then he'd at least want her blood. In exchange for her blood..." Kurimi trailed off, lifted her index finger that was shaped like a mosquito's needle, over her lips and made a light chuckle. "You may have your friends back,~" she finished, giving off the shushing gesture.
Suddenly, time froze and both Sesshi and Y/N looked around. They knew by now that the Time Corpse was going to appear, they were rather used to the occurrence. The said girl with eyeless sockets, dead white skin, and long black hair who dangled the stopwatch by its chain, appeared to their side. "Wow, I haven't seen you in forever..." Y/N mumbled and sweatdropped, she had wondered why the girl hadn't shown up lately.
"Allow this woman to have your blood... With her having your blood and not your dead or alive body, you will be able to continue your training. Through the events I've witnessed throughout all of the timelines, out of all of them, the only way to be rid of the threat is to allow it to awaken. I warned you about the kidnappings in the past, to ensure that you will remain alive so that you could fight the threat. This is the safest route to your victory in the battle ahead of you. There will be a war in the future of countless creatures made of the same substance, the ones you've fought a while back... You will get stronger, you will have your allies by your side, and more comrades will assist in the war. I tell you this now as a simple warning to prepare you for the fight that's to come..." she explained in her monotonous, small voice. With that, she had disappeared and left a surprised Y/N standing behind Sesshi.
It was silent for a bit, Sesshomaru debated on whether to let her blood be taken or to kill this woman and prevent the whole thing altogether. The Time Corpse is actually a lot older than him or anyone in the matter, so she'd be the wisest. Who was he to go against the girl's judgment and tactical thinking? Warning them ahead of time so that they could prepare? He began to wonder exactly, just how powerful the threat was. "Y/N... Lend her your blood..." he demanded. Y/N gulped lightly, she knew that, with one slip-up, she could be killed. Especially since she JUST worked her butt off in training, is all bloody, sore, weak, and needed food to tame her monster of a stomach.
Regardless, she went ahead and walked around Sesshi. Her wavering e/c alien eyes nervously gazed upon the woman. Her steps were slow and tedious, while the Kurimi's were calm and confident. A good ten to fifteen seconds of gradual steps, they finally came face to face and Kurimi held out her finger. "Your arm, please,~" she demanded with that sly smirk.
Y/N nodded once, lifted her forearm and instantly Kurimi pierced it. The young woman winced at the sting, feeling her blood getting sucked out like some mosquito... She knew it'd get itchy later... When a couple of minutes had passed, Kurimi let go and her finger turned to normal. "Your sacrifice will not be in vain, half breed,~" she gave a friendly, bubbly expression and smiled happily. Both her arms got stashed into her sleeves, before taking a step back.
"Are you really Shishi's aunt...?" Y/N questioned, held her punctured arm and frowned. She could already feel the itchy sensation growing...
"It makes you wonder, doesn't it?~" Kurimi replied and giggled, then disappeared out of thin air without any warning.
They remained there in the quiet field, not once moving from their spots. The soft gust brushed past their hair and caused it to flail gently with it, while the flowers, grass, and the leaves rustled through the wind. Without saying a word, Sesshomaru walked away, he headed towards the forest that surrounded the clearing they stood in. "Go find Asashi..." he demanded of Y/N.
The half breed made a small fine in response and ran the other way. She wanted so badly to go eat and take a dip in the water, running with what strength she had left her feeling exhausted.
Through the sun setting sky, past the clouds, Kurimi got carried by a cloud of mosquitoes that flew across. Her long, elegant green sleeves waved softly behind her as a cunning smirk graced her lips. Not too far ahead of her sat a tall, wooden, rotted archway that represented the entrance of an ancient tomb. It resided inside of a hill where a faint pathway led up to the entrance, it seemed as though time had taken its toll on it due to all the nature that had grown over the surface. The hill itself looked dead, though it had grass that grew over, the grass itself was dead too. Everything looked dead...the trees nearby, branches had fallen off the dead trees, dead leaves were everywhere, and all around it looked like the season of fall decided to stay there for eternity... The place looked cursed if anything; Everywhere else seemed fine except the tomb and its surrounding area. Down she swooped, soon landing easily on her feet after the mosquitoes disappeared. "Now then.~" she muttered out, seemingly in a good mood. She walked through the arch, then the entrance that looked like a cave's mouth, and wandered down a long tunnel that had hanging roots that could break off at any moment.
Once she went through the tunnel, there was a large underground clearing full of ancient architecture. It looked like an Aztec city made of nothing but stone that was covered in moss and bugs that love dark, dank places. Barely any light beamed through the cracks in the cave up in the ceiling. The only spot that really gave any light, was up on a high pyramid looking peak that seemed to have been split in half because of the cave wall. She vanished from sight and reappeared at the top of the peak, where her boss sat on his butt with that glass orb still in his small hands. "Did you get it...?" The supposed 'boy' questioned and never gave her eye contact. He was still unseen by the shadows that masked his small frame.
"Yes, sir," she answered. As if on cue, the said boss stood up and pointed over at the gold and dark red casket that were almost up against the cave wall. She walked over to the casket, exposed her one hand and formed her mosquito-like finger. There she poked her finger in the crack of the lid, then spat the blood out inside of the casket. Once that was done, she stepped back and clasped her hands together.
The boss walked out of the shadows and stood in front of Kurimi, who only lifted a brow curiously. "It will take time, but her blood should awaken the great Hateshiganai... The blood of his ancient enemy should ignite the fire in his soul and pull him back into his corpse, much like how the dead comes back to possess a living being or a corpse. Though, this being his own dead body from centuries ago, he would have no problem repossessing what is rightfully his..." The boy, who had violet, emotionless eyes, brown fox ears, and a brown fox tail, stated with no emotion in his voice. He wore black and brown Hakama pants, while a sleeveless top adorned his upper half. No shoes, his feet were shaped like an animal's, his tiny hands held the glass orb in front of his form and a black cloak draped around his shoulders and exposed his short, dark brown hair.
"Glao...sir, how long precisely?" Kurimi asked and peered down at her short boss from behind. He was taller than Shippo, but short none the less. (Pronunciation: Glaw-oh)
"If my calculations are correct...approximately one day, for all the blood to soak in." Glao's piercing eyes appeared in the scene and just by a fraction they squinted. (That's the best image I could find that's similar to Glao, sorry. xD! The image is up in the corner :D!)

"Finally, food!" Y/N chirped happily and picked up a pair of chopsticks. She and the group were in Obi's home eating dinner. Kagome and Inuyasha were informed about the explanation the Time Corpse had given them, then they chose to stick around a while. She managed to bathe while dinner was being made earlier, it took a bit to find Asashi and Jaken though... So they arrived around when night time hit.
"Y/N, would it be alright if a few of our friends joined us? I'm sure they'd help us fight in this upcoming war. Besides, if my brother-in-law's going to be in it, what other reason could we have besides saving the world?~" Kagome asked, then teased Sesshi playfully who only grumbled and closed his eyes in return.
"Sure, we'll need all the help we can get... I'll have to make everyone a Ketix weapon then, so I'll need to go shopping a loooot.~ You don't mind though, do you?" she replied to Kagome, then looked over at Sesshi with his still yet, closed-eyed demeanor.
"Hell, if I were him, I wouldn't care if it cost a lot!" Inuyasha butted in and crossed his arms as he remained seated next to his wife. Soon he gave a sharp glare at Sesshi and watched his brother open his golden eyes to him. "Since you're the lord of the western lands, you'd think spending that kind of money would be chump change to him," he smirked this time and heard Sesshi grumble angrily.
"So be it... We will gather as much material as we can tomorrow... Nothing more," Sesshomaru answered and took a rough bite from his large raw, meaty drumstick. Y/N only chuckled lightly at him; seeing that she sat next to him, her alien eyes glanced up to him from her peripherals and she saw him return the favor, only, much harsher.
"What? I can't stare at you? Tch, I know... Staring's ruuuuude..." she said with a bit of attitude and trailed off. Her eyes averted with a red face visible and she took a bite of her food with the chopsticks she had. "Not my fault he's is hot..." she mumbled the last sentence, which fell on deaf ears except Inuyasha and...Sesshomaru, in which she believed they didn't hear it.
His eyes comically jolted wide and had his mouth clamped down on the drumstick, frozen in place when he was about to rip more meat off.
"PFT, HAHAHAHAHAAA!" Inuyasha fell backward on his backside and held his stomach, causing confusion on both Y/N and Kagome. Obsidian, who hadn't heard what Y/N said under her breath, parted his lips in curiosity. He had no idea why Inu started laughing like someone who just got done watching a comedy film... Asashi, who was in midst of rubbing the part where Kurimi had scratched him and got done eating before everyone else, lifted a brow at the long, white-haired male on the floor.
Alas, he just sighed and closed his eyes. "Thank you, both of you, for assisting us. Kurimi caught me by surprise, If I were wiser, I would've been able to tell if she was acting or not..." he stated apologetically.
"Ah, don't worry about it! No one's perfect, you know," Y/N chirped and giggled. Rin had no clue why Inuyasha was laughing his rear off, but she walked over to Asashi and sat next to him at the end of the table.
With a big grin, she said, "Don't be upset! Even a master can make mistakes! I make perfect bunnies when I draw, but even I mess up sometimes!" Her innocent brown eyes glimmered with reassurance and Asashi's orange eyes widened a fraction then looked down at her from her sudden words. A faint blush tainted his cheeks and the shadow veiled over his eyes, it made everyone grow confused.
Pure silence, even Sesshomaru looked over in confusion despite it not showing on his face. She's... Asashi began in his mind. So cute... Why must children be my weakness...? I went this long without letting such emotions surface, so why now of all times...? he finished then quickly stood up and nodded his head as thanks.
The poor dude loves kids, he adored them, it's no wonder why Y/N had such a love for them...especially Rin. He hid it for this long, ignored it despite not expressing it in the past, and did his best to keep a calm demeanor. Comical tears streamed down his mental self and he fast-walked outside to hide. With a slam of the doors, everyone sat there pondering on what had just happened. Jaken, who stood next to Obi in the shadow of the room, was just as puzzled as everyone else.
"What's up with him? Why'd he run away?" Little Rin grew worried and her brows knitted, only for Kagome to speak up.
"Don't worry about it, Rin. He probably just grew shy because we reassured him.~" Kagome stated and waved a hand up and down, with closed eyes. Rin just hummed in thought then nodded in understanding, before rushing back over to her previous spot. Being next to Y/N on her other side, she yawned real big before laying on her lap. The girl was so tired, it was late, the moon was in the sky and they were almost done eating their meal. Y/N about spat out her food from seeing Rin curled up and lay her head on her lap.
