Beauregard Flynn was fuming as he started a new day. Specifically that his family, including his parents, and his human siblings, AND his twin sister Beatrice, AND every other BEA-Droid had gone off to a vacation retreat in the mountains.

The only exceptions were Beauregard, under the explanation that because of his prior betrayal of humanity shortly after he was created And his son/creation Draco, who was considered too young for such a vacation.

As school was still closed because of the horrors of the war. He decided to take a walk around Danville. Clad in a long-sleeve shirt, with a mirrored version of his sisters sweater, pants, and sandals he went out.

Angrily muttering to himself about the unfairness of the entire situation. How even though he turned over a new leaf since he served the Eternal King, and had actually helped his family, particularly when his sister was possessed by The Creeping Worm virus. He was still being treated like a pariah.

By about lunchtime, he was nearing an intersection. He looked up at the rebuilt Danville skyline. Since the end of the war, the planet had largely been rebuilt by PFD Technologies.

"It only took ten years and at least two alien invasions... but you finally doing something right dad," Beauregard said to himself, he then saw a teenage girl crossing the street from him. She seemed to be reading a book while listening to something on headphones. "Should I even be surprised that a Human would be that easily-" He then noticed as a damaged garbage truck barreled down on the girl. He then rolled his eyes as he charged, carrying the girl to safety.

"Your welcome." Beauregard then unceremoniously dropped her onto the ground. He then went into a nearby restaurant and took a seat. Shortly afterward he was joined by the girl he saved.

"Is... is this seat taken?" She asked shyly. "I just... I just wanted to thank you for saving my-"

"Look, I'm having a lousy week. I just want to eat alone right now, and this place is pretty much the only eating establishment where I don't get baleful looks." Beauregard interrupted, he then looked at his visor. "And I don't even have enough money for what I'd like to get."

"I can pay for your lunch." The girl said as she sat down across from Beauregard. The android got a better look at her. She had brown skin, short black hair, and amber-colored eyes. Her clothes were a hoodie, pants, and boots.

"That isn't necessary, miss," Beauregard growled, however despite his insistence the girl paid for a bucket of ribs.

"I'm sorry I didn't properly introduce myself, I was just so caught off-guard... my name is Persephone Amar. What's yours?"

Beauregard was honestly caught off-guard. "So... you don't recognize me?"

"Should I?" Persephone asked.

Beauregard looked anxious. "I'm... Beauregard Flynn. I'm one of the PFD Technologies BEA-Droids and-" He was then caught off guard as Persephone started squeeing, for an entire minute straight.

"That. Is so! AWESOME! I was saved by a flipping BEA-Droid!" Persephone said happily.

"Yes... I'm a Biological Engineered Auto-Organism." Beauregard said in annoyance.

"I'm sorry." Persephone apologized. "I'm just such a big fan of their work! They've made such awesome technology, and have done so many good things for the world-"

"But do you know them? The actual people behind all the pomp and circumstances?" Beauregard said, fuming.

Persephone noticed that the young robot was clearly irate. "Do... do you want to talk? About you?" Beauregard then started to rant about his issues with his family, not even bothering to cover up how he sought to take over the world and rule humanity, was restored to consciousness by the Eternal King and his minions, and of his role in helping them start the War for Earth. "Wow... that's kind of crazy."

"My family in a nutshell," Beauregard said.

"I just... I can't believe that your dad would have kept you deactivated for so long." Persephone said sympathetically.

"I honestly didn't give him much of a choice. I saw how nasty and irrational Humans could be on the internet. I was irate that dad wasn't going to do anything about it. I started building a robot army. And it escalated from there... frankly I blame myself." Beauregard said somberly. "I was so focused on trying to make things better on the terms that I didn't think about the consequences."

"Yeah, the Digital Dark Ages messed up people worse than the Post-Roman Dark Ages," Persephone said.

"Yeah, I'm fairly certain those aren't comparable." Beauregard then had a thought. "So... what exactly were you doing earlier?"

"Well, I was trying to get away from the family for a little while. Nothing like what you're going through, it's just that at my home things can get... hectic. So normally I just try to walk around while enjoying a good book." Persephone said.

"And the headphones?" Beauregard asked with a cocked eyebrow.

"I like music... what you want a more complicated explanation than that?" Persephone said.

"No, just... just curious." Beauregard then ate his lunch. "You hungry?"

"Yeah, but I'm vegan-" Persephone was then surprised when Beauregard started choking on one of his ribs in surprise. She then gave the young android the Heimlich Maneuver, causing the rib in question to fly out of his mouth. "Are you okay?"

Beauregard looked surprised. "I... I wouldn't have choked to death." He said in shock by this girl's kindness. "You... are not what I expected."

"What were you expecting?" Persephone asked.

"Well... in a nutshell... indignant for saving your life for a start," Beauregard said nervously. "And that's all I feel comfortable with going into detail about."

"Fair enough, you did just summarize how bad your life is," Persephone said.

"Well not bad... I just wish that things could've been different." Beauregard said. "But what's done is done... do you want to be walked home?"

"Naw I'm good, however... there is a carnival in town." Persephone said coyly. "You don't have anything better to do. It's too soon for things to... calm down at my home."

"We just met... not even a whole day has gone by," Beauregard said, he then noticed as Persephone looked downcast.

"You know... it couldn't hurt to make a new friend." Beauregard's Cricket AI said.

"Wait... we can go," Beauregard said.

Later on, the two teenagers were on the Ferris wheel. "I'm honestly surprised that you haven't run away screaming," Beauregard said as the embarked.

"Are you kidding? That laser was awesome! And frankly, that carney had it coming." Persephone said.

"Yes, he did cheat people out of their money with rigged games," Beauregard said regretfully. "But more to the point, I accidentally destroyed the stand... and that's just how this started! When mom and dad get home they'll give me an earful about that."

"Hey... don't beat yourself up about it," Persephone said reassuringly. "Now let's just enjoy being on this-" the Ferris wheel then jerked. "-and I just remembered that I have a fear of heights."

Beauregard rolled his eyes as he took Persephone into a hug. "It's okay... I got you." He said warmly to Persephone. "Seriously though, I have flown higher than this."

When they got to the top, the Ferris wheel started shaking. "W-What was that?!" Persephone said in surprise.

"Easy there, it's probably some kind of mechanical failure," Beauregard said.

"That doesn't make me feel any better!" Persephone yelled as she clawed her fingernails into Beauragards face.

"How are these so sharp? I mean my face was torn off by a bear once but this is actually kind of impressive." Beauregard noted as the ride slowly but loudly jerked it's way down. "Persephone, could you please remove your nails from my face? I need to look into this wheel."

Persephone obeyed Beauregard's request. "Sorry... I honestly thought I could've gone up without panicking this time." She said with shame.

Beauregard then looked into the inner-mechanics of the Ferris wheel. That was when he met someone he didn't expect. "AA-001?" The mechanic was an old looking robot that looked like a walking suit of power armor, not unlike the Talos robot that Phineas and Ferb created when Beatrice went on her adventures with Stellar Imperium. Except this one had a visor and had a prominent headlamp.

"Master Beauregard-gard-gard... it's been years." The aged robot said. "Were you on?- I am sorry sir-sir-sir. I couldn't keep the ride from malfunctioning-ing-ing-ing."

Persephone caught up with Beauregard. "Bo, you know this guy?"

"I built him... we were going to take over the world together," Beauregard said wistfully. "I honestly assumed that he and the other Automaton Warriors were scrapped after that."

"Neg-neg-neg-negative. We were reprogramed and sold." AA-001 said. "Is this entity your girl-girl-girl-girlfriend?"

The two teens then started sputtering in surprise at the question. "We just met today! That's nowhere near enough time to just commit to something like that!" Beauregard said.

"Yeah, he saved my life and he's as handsome as all get out. But boyfriend?" Persephone added.

"And to be honest, I'm not even sure if I'd want one anyway." Beauregard continued. "My sister keeps going back and forth on two of her friends... it frankly seems like a huge waste of time."

That following Monday, the Flynn's returned home... and were surprised to find a new girl on their coach, sleeping and snoring loudly. "Okay," Beatrice whispered. "Nobody jump to any conclusions-"

"Good afternoon beautiful!" Beauregard said with a smile on his face as he entered the living room with a pair of homemade hamburgers with fries. "And... I thought that you'd be back tonight."

Persephone awoke with a snort. "Oh sweat glory that smells delicious." Persephone then looked at the Flynn family. "And I thought you said they'd be back-"

"Yes, I just noted that." Beauregard interrupted. "Anyway, family this is Persephone. I saved her life from a runaway auto-garbage truck on Friday. Persephone, this is my father Phineas, mother Isabella-" Persephone elbowed Beauregard in the side. "I mean, my mom and dad. Beatrice, my twin sister, and my Human siblings, Bethany and Thomas."

"She's pwetty." Thomas commented.

"You weren't kidding when you said he was a sweetheart." Persephone giggled.

"And... your friends?" Beatrice said, looking surprised about the whole situation.

"Well... maybe not initially," Beauregard said awkwardly. "I wasn't onboard at first but-"

"We're going steady now." Persephone interrupted.

"WHAT?!" Phineas and Isabella said in shock.

"Yeah... we hanged out with each other over the weekend, watched some movies, I made... food," Beauregard said.

"And last night we sealed it with a kiss," Persephone said as a faint electronic noise was coming from a slack-jawed Beatrice. "Granted it wasn't all sunshine and flowers. I introduced him to my folks."

"They were more chaotic and dysfunctional than I imagined." Beauregard shuttered at the memory. "Sometimes, I can still see that child with a trail of mucus on his finger."

"He shared his memories... as in showed me his memory files, on his visor/not-bangs thingy," Persephone said as she cringed. "You're still sure there wasn't another way to show me what happened?"

"I said I was sorry!" Beauregard said defensively. He then noticed that his twin was sparking. "Bea... are you okay?" Then Beatrice's jaw fell off.

"Ahh!" Persephone yelled in surprise. Beatrice then fell further apart until she was a pile of assorted parts.

Beauregard just rolled his eyes. "Not this again."

"-so... in a nutshell. Your jealous and surprised, that your brother managed to find a romantic partner before you?" Dr. Metro asked Beatrice. She just nodded as she sat on the couch in the fetal position. "And you believe that Persephone is playing your brother for something?"

"And I don't understand what the big deal is," Beauregard said. "I have a girlfriend, she has a crush on two guys and can't make up her mind."

"And I thought I told you not to dismiss other people's feelings just because you don't understand them." Dr. Metro said. "I'm proud that, despite your past traumas with Human contact that you've managed to make stride with this."

"Thanks... I'll be honest it was one of the better weekends alone I've had. Nobody tried to break into the house again for a start." Beauregard said.

"And you believe that Persephone is playing your brother for something?" Dr. Metro asked Beatrice.

"Y-Yessir..." Beatrice said anxiously. "I-I mean I know Persephone doesn't LOOK like the deceptive type... but I couldn't forgive myself if she did anything to hurt my brother."

"And I respect your concern... however I WANT to do more in a given day than brood over how this family has treated me," Beauregard said. "And a girlfriend?... that might not solve ALL of my problems but the idea of having a confidant like her is appealing."

"A fair point, though you can stand to work on not using such clinical terms. And your sister is technically right, love can be messy. But as Shakespeare wrote, 'tis better to have loved and lost, then to never have loved at all'. So go for it, Beauregard." Dr. Metro said reassuringly. "Which brings me back to your fears of committing to a relationship Beatrice."

Beatrice knocked on the front door, anxiously waiting for it to open. Eventually, it did. "Bea? What are you doing here?" Daniel Pakaru said.

Beatrice sighed anxiously. "Look... I'm sorry for not making a choice between you and Mathew sooner. A-And I want... I want us to be more than just friends." She then dropped down to one knee. "Daniel... would you like to go steady?"

"Beatrice Flynn... yes," Daniel said.

Tears of joy formed in Beatrice's eyes as she picked up the paraplegic boy in her arms. "I'm sorry... it's just that when I was younger I had these visions. You were in them and I was thinking they were of the future and-"

"Okay Bea, could you put me back in the chair. I still don't have legs anymore." Daniel said.

"Oh..." Bea said awkwardly, she put Daniel back into his wheelchair. "Sorry I just got excited."

"Think nothing of it, Bea," Daniel said. "How about we do something this Saturday, that okay with you?"

"Are... are you asking me out on a date?" Beatrice asked, Daniel just nodded. The gynoid then smiled brightly and leaned down to kiss Daniel. "Oh! And I just got the idea of making it a double date with Bo and Persephone!"

"That might not be a good idea," Daniel said tepidly.

"Too late, my mind is made up," Beatrice said adamantly. "See you Saturday night!" She then took off for home. Beatrice's heart felt lighter for having finally put this plot point behind her.
