So the next day finally came for Simport once again...
Eleanor was walking to the SPA Agency with Evelyn by her side. Eleanor called Roxie to see if she was coming to the building today, to which, she was confirmed that she was going there. So that will give Eleanor a chance to talk to Roxie this morning.
Eleanor and Evelyn both walked by the stairs that leads up to the platform that leads to both the monorail and the SPA Agency Building, seeing Roxie's bike inside of the bike rack. It seems like Roxie made it here before they did. The couple stopped near the bottom of the stairs, before Eleanor turns towards Evelyn.
"I'll see you after work, Evie. I love you." Eleanor told the woman in red.
Evelyn smiled. "I love you too, Ellie." She said back. The two hugged each other, before Eleanor went up the stairs to go to the doors of the building.
Inside of the building, Eleanor walked in, trying to find Roxie. She saw that the girl was talking to Ian and Amelia by one of the office doors. With how much time that Roxie has been doing in order to focus on both her Ice Cream Parlor and the SPA Agency, it was somewhat of a relief for her to be meeting a new worker at one of the places that she works at. After the three ended their conversation, Roxie went off to another room so that she can get to work.
Eleanor passed by Ian and Amelia who went off to go collect themselves some coffee, as she followed Roxie into the room she was going into. Roxie was putting on a white coat over the yellow blouse and beige shorts that she was wearing, getting ready to work now, before Eleanor entered the room to talk to her about the Ginny situation. Roxie heard the female agent knock on the door nearby.
"Huh?" Roxie asked. "Oh, hello Eleanor. It's been awhile."
"It's been too long, Roxie." Eleanor said, as she walked in, placing her hands in her pockets. "How is the Ice Cream Shop coming along?"
"It's going quite well. Thank you for asking." She looks over to her work-table, before looking at Eleanor again. "Hey, sorry about not coming into the building...I've been trying to make sure that the Ice Cream Parlor I work is okay."
"Hey, I'm just glad that you are here once again, Roxie. Don't worry."
"Alright." She then walks over to the work-table, before looking up at Eleanor for a second. "Anyways, I have to get to work now. We can talk to each other a bit more during your lunch break..."
"Roxie, I need to talk to you about...relationships...mostly about...you and Pablo...as well as Ginny and Vance." The girl looks up at the agent, rather shocked to hear that being said from somebody who is one of her coworkers here in the Agency Building. "Ginny told me about what happened at the karaoke restaurant that Evelyn works at, and...from what I heard, the relationship between you and Pablo was fake..."
"I...I don't know what to say about this...am I in trouble?"
"No. You're not, don't worry."
"Alright. Then...why are you bringing this up to me?"
"I just wanted to see what was going on, since...Ginny is a bit of a wreck right now, about...all that was said to her by Pablo. I'm worried about her." Roxie shook her head, displeased by what this situation has led to because of Pablo's jealousy.
"I had a bad feeling she was going to distraught from all of this...I told Pablo that all of this was a terrible idea from the start."
"Well, it's too late now. You and him went through with this, and now she's feeling incredibly depressed and lost because of this." Roxie sighed, before holding the sides of the table that she works at, looking down.
"Damn it, Pablo...why did you have to drag me into this situation?" Roxie mutters to herself, before looking up at Eleanor, who was staring at her with concern eyes. "I am going to find Ginny's house and apologize for all that happened during the double date."
"What about Pablo?"
"He sure as hell better be planning on apologizing to Ginny after that night. If he isn't, I'm never forgiving him for this bullshit that he caused." Eleanor held up her arms.
"Roxie, calm down. I'm not saying you're trouble for this. I'm a little disappointed, but you're not in trouble for this." Eleanor lowers her arms, before backing up towards the door. "When me and Vance are driving around the town for a problem, we'll make sure to find Pablo to tell him about all of what had happened."
"Alright."
"Either way...I'm just happy that you're back, working around here, Roxie."
"Your welcome."
Eleanor closes the door, allowing Roxie to be alone in this room. Roxie leans onto the table, placing her hands on her forehead, shaking her head, muttering under her breath that she couldn't believe she ever agreed to help Pablo in this situation in the first place. Lowering her arms, she heard the sound of her phone beeping in her pocket.
The girl pulls out her phone, wondering who was even calling her right now, only to see that it was Pablo. She narrowed her eyes, because of course it was Pablo calling her right now, after the conversation that she and Eleanor had. She decided to not answer the call, not even wanting to talk to Pablo at the moment. The last person she really needs to even talk to is him after all that has happened during this entire month.
Meanwhile...
Pablo was walking down the sidewalk, trying to get Roxie to call him. He really wanted to talk to her about what had happened between him and Ginny after she left, in hopes of trying to fix his mistake together. After a couple seconds later, no answer from Roxie came.
"Come on, Roxie...answer..." Pablo said, as he tried to call the girl again.
He waited by the bus stop, in hopes that Roxie will pick up the phone for him, but after that, there was nothing. He tried one more time, but still nothing, Roxie never answered his call. He held onto his forehead, nearly crying as he leaned on it. Nothing but regret filled his mind as he was thinking about Ginny.
Ever since Ginny figured out about his true feelings for her, he couldn't stop thinking about her. He couldn't stop thinking of the shocked look that was on her face when she heard that she was told the truth. To him, it seems like the friendship between the two of them was over for good.
'Ginny was the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in Simport...how could I disappoint somebody like her the way that I did?' Pablo said in his thoughts, as tears rolled down his eyes. 'I thought telling her would actually help but...I feel like I just made things worse than it already is...now she never wants me back, and...for some reason, Roxie doesn't seem to be wanting anything to do with me either...' Pablo sighed. 'I just can't believe that I thought that double date was a smart idea, I feel like an idiot...' The bus came approaching Pablo's spot.
After what Pablo ended up telling Ginny, the place has been closed until further notice. Neither of them showed up at that building, nor did customers showed up either. It was a ghost town in that building, as far as Pablo was concern. The boy got onto the bus, heading off to go some other part of the town.
With Katie...
The tomboy was just arriving at the hospital, ready to go and meet up with Pinky. The tomboy kicks up her skateboard, placing it into her backpack, before standing up from the ground. But right before the tomboy could enter the building alone, the sound of another voice was heard nearby.
"Hey! Katie!" That was Violet's voice.
The tomboy turns her head to see the goth girl was coming over to the front doors as well. Katie could see that the goth girl had something in her hands as well, and something that she couldn't expect Violet of all people to be holding. Violet stops running, just as she was right in front of her.
"Hey...Katie..." Violet said, as she held up what she was holding, which was a bouquet of flowers. The flowers were also blue. "I thought I'd stop by to...uh...give Pinky these..." Katie takes the flowers looking at them for a couple moments, before Violet continued to talk. "...Me, Ghostly, and Poppy heard about what happened. Is Pinky okay?"
"Yeah. She's okay." Katie said. "However...the wedding is...sadly not going to happen because of her collapsing yesterday..." Violet looked guilty after this was said.
"Kate...if this is about me and Crystal..."
"Just save it, Violet. I feel like it was a mistake to even put a single bit of hope that Crystal could cause a problem...because after her arguments with you, Pinky is now in the hospital because of this."
"Look, if you're also blaming me, I'm sorry. But..."
"Violet, I'm not blaming you!" Katie snaps, before closing her eyes to calm down a bit. After a few seconds passed, she opened her eyes, then spoke. "...Look, Pinky's stress has been...pretty bad as of late, and...I feel all she needs is her friends to pull her through this, you included." Katie then looks at the flowers in her hands again. "As for Crystal...she's gone..."
"What?"
"She left Simport two days ago...she said she had enough of staying here after all that she had done." Violet shook her head, sighing to that. Her face remained the same emotionless stare that it always was.
"Well, I'm not surprised at all...but, I guess good riddance to her..."
"She said she'd be returning to the town when the wedding is over...which might as well be...never."
"Damn, that makes it even more of an 'all-for-nothing' kind of situation for Crystal to decide on, huh?" Violet shrugged her shoulders, before patting the tomboy on the shoulder. "...As for giving Crystal a chance, don't beat yourself up on it. I thought I could give Lord Daniel a chance to be friends with, since I always like to hang out with goths, but...he then tried to get me to love cute things...and then I realized, that was a mistake." Katie looks behind the goth, seeing Poppy and Ghostly were now coming up the sidewalk.
"What about Poppy?"
"Well, Poppy's my little sister. She doesn't try to get me to like cute things, despite she loves flowers, puppies, and all of that shit."
Poppy ran up to her older sister, holding up a blue stuffed-animal bunny in her hands. Ghostly approached his wife, as he waved at the tomboy smiling at her. Katie waves back, before looking down at the flower girl. She kneels down.
"Hey, Poppy." Katie said. "Is that for Pinky?" Poppy nods her head.
"Yes. I was meant to give this to Pinky during the wedding, but...since Violet said that it might not be happening after all, I guess now's a good time than ever, right?" Poppy asked. Katie nods. "I'm so sorry that the wedding won't be happening, Katie." The tomboy stood back up, before rubbing the younger girl on her head.
"Oh, don't be. Maybe...just as long as Pinky controls her stress a little better, than...who knows? Maybe Tim and Pinky will change their minds and allow the wedding to happen again." Katie frowned. "I hope so anyway..." She fakes a smile, before pointing behind herself. "Anyways...we should probably go meet up with Pinky now. Come on, guys."
"Right behind you, Kate." Ghostly said. The four entered the hospital to find Pinky's hospital room.
