Awhile Later

The Davis Home

The echo of the front door opening and closing. Along with multiple hushed conversations made listening in for additional information a waste of time.

"What can you see or hear.?" Theo asked.

Lilly attempted to move closer down the staircase but stopped herself.

"We've heard nothing but bits and pieces of far away conversation. Nothing is clear." Lilly said.

"Something is wrong. Dad wouldn' just not pick me up. And he would answer my calls and texts. Or my mom's calls or texts."

"This is all you're fault! You made him upset and angry and now he's gone!" Theo yelled.

The expression on Lilly's face softened. As she bursted into tears.

"I shouldn't of been involved with that boy. I know that. Everything has been off ever since he went away for those months. And i just didn't know how to handle it so i didn't."

"He was angry and upset with me before he left. Don't you think i feel bad enough already!" Lilly yelled back. Her voice breaking with emotion.

"This going after each other needs to 's not helping anything. We're family. And there is enough going on without us turning on each other. I haven't been around long. But i know you're right about that T. Something isn't right. Our dad wouldn't just leave like this. Come on." Al stated. Leading the way up the stairs.

...

"You are ready to jump out of you're skin. You need to calm down and try to relax." Haley cautioned. Puting her hand on Brooke's.

Brooke stared back at one of her closest girlfriends.

"He was unraveling Hales. In front of my eyes. And do i call you, Nate, Rachel, Skill. No i try to handle it on my own and he leaves. How can i not feel some sense of resposiblity for that.?" Brooke asked.

"There was nothing you could of said or done to keep Lucas from leaving. His mind was made up. Trust me i know. The police are here. The kids are upstairs. I'm going to go for a quick drive."

"I'll be back as soon as i can." Rachel announced.

Brooke pulled her into a quick hug.

Rachel hugged her back before exiting the kitchen then leaving the home.

...

Rachel knew how to play this game. Get in. Get out and forget it.

She took one last look at herself. Her current outfit was short and showed off the best parts of her body.

Rachel soon left her home and drove to the side of town that no one talked about during the day.

She parked her car in the street and began to walk.

Through the doors of one of the many abandoned buildings in the neighborhood.

She paused as she saw familiar faces.

"Red light Rach. The world stops when you enter the room." One of the men said.

Rachel smiled up at him.

"We haven't seen you in a long time. What brings you by.?" The man questioned.

"Maybe i miss our time together. The person i used to be. I need to feel alive. I want to fly. Help me." She replied.

The men looked to each other. And smiled back at her.

"Let us give you you're wings. Come with us."

"Sure thing. But you tell me where Lucas is and i'll decide what happens next." Rachel replied. Puling out a gun from inside her blouse. Pointing it straigh at them.

...

Lucas awoke feeling his entire body aching and in pain.

He stared around at the dark empty room.

"Where am i.? What is going on here.?" Lucas asked.

A flashlight then was placed straight on his face.

"I'm Jack. Jack Daniels. I had a job to do. Part one is complete. You're kidnapped. The rest is well not personal." The young man said.

"Who exactly are you working for.?" Lucas asked. He couldn't be older then 17 or 18.

"Ted and Victoria Davis." The young man replied.

...
