Hi readers!!
Thank you for following, favouriting or reviewing if you did.
A review told me that I should probably not describe Alya as curvaceous. I got rid of the word though I have to admit that it didn't really have a bad meaning. It just meant her body was attractive. I only used it because it was in a description of her on the Miraculous fandom website. Thank you for pointing it out though!!
In other news though – I found out that a woman voiced Bart Simpson….
That was very random on my part..
I hope you enjoy the new chapter!!
Feel free to review afterwards!
Chat Noir sprinted over the rooftops, a coarse, burlap sack flung over his shoulder.
Not too far behind, there was an array of police helicopters, following him as he tore through the city.
Maybe it wasn't the best decision to steal a painting from the Louvre during lunch hour.
Alright who was he kidding, of course it wasn't a good one.
It was a terrible one in fact but the poor boy couldn't help it!
He did love the added dramatics and with his amount of skill, who on Earth would not want to show off?
Okay, fine! That was a lie.
While he relished the attention, Chat didn't choose to rob that museum in daylight so he would be noticed by the Parisians.
No, instead he was doing it out of impulse. He was doing it out of desire. He was doing it to one up Ladybug.
Their rivalry was renowned throughout Paris and the vast majority of France for all the trouble and inconvenience it caused. It was known for its spontaneity and notoriety.
They'd been feuding ever since the day they had both wanted to complete the same bank heist.
In the end, neither of them had been able to steal anything because they'd been too busy arguing when the police showed up and they'd then had to run.
They both blamed the other and since then they had been sworn enemies.
As well as this, they both worked for the same boss, meaning they had to try to keep their hatred towards one another out of business. They didn't manage it but their employer didn't mind as long as their ridiculous vendetta resulted in fantastic robberies.
Behind him, the feline could hear someone yelling through a megaphone.
It was Officer Roger Raincomprix.
"Chat Noir! Put down the bag and surrender yourself to the police or face the terrible consequences you will bring on yourself if you don't!" The officer yelled in his hoarse voice.
Chat was now entering a familiar area. At the end of the building he was running across there was a gap. It wasn't very big but he had jumped through it enough times to know he'd be able to slip through.
He turned around to face the helicopters and began running backwards.
"You may be on my tail officer, however don't begin feline so smug." How he loved punning especially in front of Ladybug because it always seemed to annoy her.
"I sincerely doubt you'll be able to catch me now especially when you weren't able to during my amateur days."
He was now nearing the edge of the building. He stopped to give the officers in their helicopters a mock salute before he made the jump, down, down onto the thin strip of cobblestone.
Sure enough the vent he normally escaped through after making his jump was still open from last time. He slipped through making sure to close it behind him and then jammed the handle with a stick.
No one could hear his snickering as he hid the bag and then emerged, not as a villain though. As a civilian.
Adrien Agreste stumbled through the classroom doors 5 minutes before class was supposed to begin.
He sat down in his seat trying to catch his breath and moved his hair away from his dazzling emerald eyes.
"Dude!" His best friend Nino said. "Where were you?!"
"Sorry," he replied. "You know how father is with his photo shoots. Apparently, the photos taken at the last one weren't good enough so we had to retake them."
"You need to stand up to your old man!" Nino told him. "Don't let him push you around so much."
"I know but we don't really spend that much time together so doing anything to please him makes up for that." Adrien said.
Nino swung an arm around his friends shoulders. "You my friend need to slow down. You already work for your dad, take Chinese and fencing lessons, learn the piano and you are completely obedient towards him. What more could he want?"
Adrien shrugged and pretended to roll his eyes.
"I don't know." He answered sincerely.
He really didn't.
After school had ended, Adrien and Nino walked out of the school doors.
"Freedom!" Nino yelled.
Adrien laughed.
While his friend didn't enjoy school, he himself did.
It was the small amount of Liberty that his father allowed him and gave him a chance to meet his friends.
"Adrikins!" A shrill voice appeared unannounced.
"Oh here we go!" Nino muttered under his breath.
Two arms covered in yellow wrapped around Adrien's shoulders.
Chloe.
Chloe Bourgeois. Daughter of the Mayor and drama queen extraordinaire.
She was a blonde headed girl with baby blue eyes who wore a lot of make up and perfume.
Some of that said spray threatened to choke Adrien as he finally managed to pull away.
Chloe had been Adrien's first ever friend.
They had known each other since they were infants and he would be forever grateful for their friendship.
Ever since he had started school however Chloe had seemed a bit - what was the word - oh yes, clingy.
She hung onto his arm and would try to drag him around with her.
As well as this, she would continuously argue with Marinette, the cute, shy girl who sat behind him in class.
Well he had thought Marinette was shy until he had realised that she only acted that way around him but that's a story for another day.
"Hi Chloe." Adrien said.
"Adrikins!" She replied. "Where have you been all day?"
"In class," He replied. "Same as you."
"You were? I didn't realise!"
Adrien blinked trying to keep his cool.
"Well I hate to leave so suddenly but my drivers waiting so - yeah!"
He began walking away swiftly.
He hear Chloe yelling, "Bye Adrikins!"
Nino ran to catch up with him.
"I thought we were playing video games over at mine!" He said.
"I'm really sorry Nino but my Chinese lesson was moved forward to today because my tutor is going abroad tomorrow."
"Oh that sucks! Well maybe another time?"
Adrien nodded and smiled.
"I'll see you tomorrow!" He told his friend.
...
On the other side of the building, Marinette and Alya were talking.
"You promised we'd have a girls' night tonight."
"I know Alya and I'm sorry but I have to help my parents tonight." Marinette said with her large, doe eyes. "But look," she pointed at Nino. "Looks like Nino's free. You guys haven't had time alone together for a while. Why don't you go in a date tonight instead!"
"Fine! But tomorrow there are no excuses girl!" She looked at Marinette. "Okay?"
Marinette nodded.
Alya jogged towards her boyfriend and Marinette began walking away.
She didn't want to lie to Alya, but she couldn't help it.
She had another place to be but it wasn't her parents' bakery.
She was going to a party.
A party full of villains.
