A few hours later, Olivia and Fitz cuddled on the sofa. Olivia needed to start cooking dinner but she didn't want to leave his side.

"What is your most embarrassing story?"

"I can't tell you that it's too embarrassing."

"It can't be any more embarrassing than mine."

"Okay, I was really nerdy when I started high school. There was this guy that would bully me every day during the first week of school. Angela stood up to my bully, and he never bothered me again."

Olivia laughed, "Wow that is embarrassing."

"What about you?"

"My date never showed up for the prom. I waited outside for hours in the dark for him to show up. He didn't answer my calls until the next day when he told me that he was in a new relationship."

"That's not embarrassing that's hurtful."

"He's a jerk. I'm glad I didn't go to prom with him."

"Were you popular in high school?"

"Not really. I had friends, but I was never popular."

"When was the last time you were in a relationship?"

"High School."

"Wow, you've been single for that long?"

"Yeah."

"How long have you been waiting for me?"

"I dreamed about you a week before I called you. I had a lot of questions, and Mellie wasn't giving me any information. I was only sleep for two hours, but it was a long dream. I know a lot about you."

"Like what?"

"You love nature. You're going to have a cabin in Vermont and a beach house if you don't already have that."

"You're right. I do want that."

"Do you have rental houses yet?"

"I started looking for rental properties a few weeks ago in flyover states."

"In my dream, you told me that you and Angela divorced because you both weren't ready for marriage. You didn't say much about your relationship."

"Well, if the dream is six years in the future, I probably wasn't emotionally attached to her anymore. We shouldn't have married each other. Angela was a good friend. I should have let her stay in that category. I'm baffled that I married Mellie in your dream."

"You dated a long time when you got back together. She wanted to tell you about Karen when you got married. I said no, and that's when it got complicated. You were my jogging buddy, and you found out about Karen when I fell down the stairs. Mellie came to the hospital. I was pregnant with the triplets, and I thought I was having one baby."

"So Karen was 21?"

"She was a functioning alcoholic. Very professional and organized but also resentful of Savannah."

"Why?"

"Savannah and Serenity got more attention. I couldn't balance it all, and we had two newborns."

Fitz took Karen out of her bassinet. She opened her eyes and yawned. He could hold her with both of his hands together. Her head resting at the top of his fingers.

"You are not going to be an alcoholic. Is it time for another bottle?"

Karen wiggled in his hands trying to look around. Fitz kissed her feet and she smiled.

"She is so tiny. I can't imagine her being 21 with a drinking problem."

"I wish you could see the liquor cabinet in her apartment. She could be a bartender."

"Not my baby." Fitz cooed.

He leaned forward and kissed her nose getting another smile from Karen.

"Maybe we should have the triplets right now."

"No way. She'll be learning to walk when the triplets are born. Our house is not a daycare."

"Aww look how cute she is. We can have a few more babies right now."

"You have baby fever. It will be different when you're taking care of four babies."

Fitz tickled her feet and she kicked. "Do you want more babies?"

"No, Karen is going to be the only baby for a few more years."

Fitz gave Karen to Olivia. "I'll make the bottle."

"Thank you."

"We both know that Karen is my baby. The test proved that. You don't have to thank me."
