A/N: The characters from Teen Titans are not in my possession. Neither are any locations, places, yadda yadda yadda.

SpiderGwen2004: Fair point. And that seems to be a thing a few other reviewers are wanting to find out. To that I say: All in good time.

Nivado111: Yeah it is cursed. My laptop crashed three times while writing that paragraph. And yes, I suppose it was overdue.

Ginngersnapps: Your welcome, and glad to see the enthusiasm!

Cheers, Annonm.

Eris: Honestly, I only planned English, and Swahili was added because someone pointed out a hole in my writing. I may have him speak other languages, but not be fluent enough for it to have crossed over to Starfire. So far, his body is mostly normal (besides being green and the animal things). There are a few tricks I was going to have him use later on. And I never heard of that. I'll look it up.

Chapter 32:

"What do you think of this one?" a happy voice asked as the speaker stepped out of a changing room. Robin and Starfire had been at the mall for an hour and a half. Fifteen minutes was spent dealing with fans, forty five were spent by the two, but mostly Starfire, browsing the new additions to the store, and the masked teen had spent the rest giving his feedback on whatever the alien girl had decided to try on. It was somewhat monotonous, but the fact that she cared for his opinion made it worth it.

"I like it. It brings out your eyes." the Boy Wonder offered. The current getup was a skirt similar in length to her regular skirt, but was a lime green instead of purple. The top was an equally green short-sleeved shirt that cut off right above the navel. Starfire rose a few inches above the ground and spun around a few times as she watched her reflection in a mirror.

"Are you sure? Does the green not clash with my skin?".

"Have I ever complained about your eyes?" Robin responded. Luckily, Starfire took it the way he had meant it.

"No. No you haven't. Thank you Robin." the orange skinned girl offered before zipping back into the changing room. Much to the leader's relief, Starfire was about to put on the last outfit, meaning they could go get a snack.

"Friend Robin, why have you not tried on anything?" she asked from inside the room. Only once had she actually seen Robin walk into a changing room with an article of clothing, but he did not let anyone see him wearing it and he quickly put it back.

"Well, I guess I'm just not a clothing guy. All I really need is my uniform, but I still have casual clothes back at the tower that still fit." he answered with a shrug. There couldn't be any more truth to his statement if he tried.

"I suppose that makes sense." the alien girl stated as she exited the stall. She had changed into a pair of shorts that went down to six inches above her knees and a tanktop with a sports bra underneath. Once again she spun to give her and Robin a front and back view.

"I'd say it's more of a casual outfit, but you make it work." Robin offered before realizing his slip up. A beet red color tinted his cheeks and a beads of sweat formed along his brow.

"Thank you Robin.". The alien girl returned to the stall and put on her purple skirt and top as she contemplated what her teammate had said.

"Hey guys. How ya doin'?". Metal footsteps indicated Cyborg's approach, but Robin had already known from the voice.

"Not bad. She's just finishing up." the masked teen replied with a head tilt towards the stall the alien girl was occupying. Thankfully the red on his face had disappeared. Who knows what Cyborg would have assumed.

"What're you and Jinx up to?". No sooner had the question left his mouth before Starfire emerged in her standard attire. "I shall return once I place some of these back upon the shelves." she offered, then flew off.

"As you were asking; I picked up the most recent issue of a comic series B has been reading..." he started and lifted a small bag he was carrying. "...and Jinx is browsing for something that won't give away her identity. Not that her hair doesn't already do that." the cybernetic teen answered with a grin at the end. As if having been summoned, the mentioned sorceress appeared accompanied with Starfire. Jinx was carrying a few shirts and bottoms she wanted to try, and Starfire had already checked out. Only Robin noticed a familiar pair of shorts inside the bag.

"Well, I'm going to try a few things on. I could use an opinion Stone." the pink haired girl declared as she stepped into a changing room. The only response Cyborg could give was a delayed, incoherent babbling.

"Don't worry, it's not that bad. Star and I will meet you guys at the food court." the leader said with a pat to his large, mechanical shoulder.

"Shall we?" he courteously asked the alien girl, who responded with a happy nod. On the way to the food courts they ran into more fans, but nothing big happened. Finally reaching their destination, Robin ordered a hot dog and a small salad. Starfire got a salad as well, but drowned it in enough mustard to fill the bowl to the brim. Regardless of the obscene amount she used, there was something endearing about her enthusiasm for the yellow dressing.

"Is everything okay Robin? You seem to be doing the 'zoning of out'." Starfire asked her companion.

"I'm fine, thanks for asking. And I guess I was zoning out a little." the masked teen relied with a bite from his hotdog. The two ate and talked for a while until the two teammates approached.

"Did you find any good outfits friend Jinx?". The sorceress pulled a few name brand shirts and held them up to her torso. "Sure did Star.".

"You two want to get anything to eat before we leave?" Robin asked as he finished his hotdog.

Neither of the two were hungry, so the four heroes left the mall and got to the T-car.

"Actually, can we make a stop uptown first? I need to speak with the mayor." the Boy Wonder requested.

"What are you going to tell him?" the cybernetic teen questioned. "I'm just going to let him know that Beast Boy is back and he's willing to turn himself in once he readjusts to the time zone." Robin explained. His cybernetic pal gave a nod and drove towards the office. A few minutes later the T-car came to a stop outside the Mayor's office.

"I'll be quick." Robin said before getting out and entering the building.

"Hello Robin. You don't have an appointment, do you?" the secretary asked from her desk the moment he walked in.

"No, but something came up and I was hoping to speak with Arthur for a few seconds." the Boy Wonder explained. The secretary shifted through stacks of papers as if looking for something.

"Hold on a second." she requested. The woman picked up the phone by her computer and dialed the Mayor's office.

"Hello? Sorry to bother you, but Robin dropped by." the secretary offered. "Uh-huh, ok sir.". The woman then hung up and faced Robin again.

"He's available for a few minutes.".

"Thank you." the masked teen kindly offered. Making a familiar trip down the halls led to a room he'd visited a bit too much recently. Or at least in his opinion. Three knocks was followed by a "Come in.", which Robin did.

"Hello sir. I just wanted to stop by really quick to let you know Beast Boy has returned. He said he's perfectly willing to turn himself in, but he wants to recover from jet lag first.".

"Very good. Let him know that when he's ready, the two of you can stop by and we'll schedule a court hearing." the mayor replied.

"Will do. Have a good day.". The teenaged hero left and returned to the T-car. "Guessing it went well?" the driver questioned upon his leader's return.

"Sure did.".

Seven minutes later the four crime fighters were back in the garage. Jinx and Starfire compared their new outfits all the way to the commons room, where Raven was sitting with a nearly finished book.

"Friend Raven, how was your day?" the alien girl asked the moment she entered.

"It was fine." the empath replied without looking away from her book.

"Hey Jinx, what do you want for a late lunch?" Cyborg asked from the fridge, where he was pulling out various ingredients.

"I'll have some bacon and eggs. Thanks." the pink haired girl requested before leaving to drop off her purchases in her room.

"Hey, where's Beast Boy? I need to tell him something." Robin asked the reading half demon.

"He went to bed. Apparently his body thought it was eleven at night." she replied with a page turn.

"Lucky guy. At least he has an excuse to get out of the training session." Cyborg grumbled as he flipped an egg.

"I would have given him a pass anyway. He had already spent a few hours in the gym by the time I got there." the Boy Wonder replied. He turned on the T.V. and flipped through the channels. Cartoons, news stations, movies, even a few nature documentaries flashed across the screen. But nothing was grabbing his attention, so he settled for a nightly news program.

"Wait, BB went down to the gym, before you, and worked out?" the cybernetic teen asked with surprised pauses. Little did he realize that his bacon was starting to burn onto the pan. Until Jinx grabbed the spatula and flipped it onto a plate for him.

"I mean, it's not too surprising. And he has been changing a lot recently. Maybe we're seeing more and more of the new him." Robin wondered aloud.

"Or the real him." Raven offered from beside the leader. All four heads turned to the empath, who realized an explanation would be necessary. "After all, some of these things, like his driving and shifting abilities, are things he's been doing and known how to do since before we met each other. This is probably a side of him that's always been there.".

"I believe you are correct, but does that mean we never truly knew friend Beast Boy?" the alien girl asked. To everyone's shock, it was probably the truth. Or at least partially true. Several instances flashed through Raven's mind, each one an occasion where she was shown something new about the changeling. And they all just cemented Starfire's worry.

"I'm not sure I would go that far. He's like a coin. You may have only seen one side, and maybe parts of the other side. But all in all, it's the same coin no matter which side you're looking at." the pink haired girl suggested.

"Maybe. But we should just drop this. I don't think green-bean would like us talking about him behind his back." the metallic man stated. With that, the teammates did their best to finish their days. Robin, Cyborg and Jinx played a few video games while Starfire watched, and Raven almost finished her book.

"Okay guys, maybe we should get a quick training session done." the Boy Wonder said.

Arguing would have been fruitless, so the other four Titans just followed him to the gym, where they all worked on various machines for minutes on end.

Raven and Jinx started out light on the benches and worked their way up to a hundred and fifty five pounds before spitting ways. Cyborg and Starfire opted for the heavy weights, were the robotic teen was once again way outclassed by the resident alien.

"Girl, I will beat you at this someday." he friendlily threatened as he pushed his mechanisms to 96%.

"You may try friend Cyborg." Starfire replied, adding another slab of weight just to make a point.

After an hour of individual workouts, Robin had the team reconvene and go through a few rounds of sparring. The main reason was for his teammates to see if they could find their own flaws in their fighting techniques.

"Good job everyone. Go get dinner and rest up." the Boy Wonder ordered. It was an order the others were eager to follow, as Cyborg had remotely started a batch of his well known spaghetti and sauce.

The delicious meal was eaten in silence and one by one the crime fighters left for their respective rooms. Except for a certain half demon. Of course she had to stop in her room to shower and change, but instead of climbing into her own bed she opened a black circle and walked through it. Less than a second later she arrived at her destination and climbed into a bed already housing a sleeping green teen.

The two had previously had a conversation about new routines regarding their development. Both had agreed that they could share a bed as long as neither got too physical, but were free to sleep in their own beds should they feel a need for space or alone time. Raven had a suspicion that Beast Boy added that last part for her, but wasn't going to take his sincerity for granted.

Moments after she has laid herself down she felt the mattress shift as the green teen unconsciously inched a bit closer to her. A red sleeved arm limply wrapped around her form. "I could get used to this." she whispered to herself before sleep overtook her, a small smile gracing her lips.

...

A muffled yawn came from the darkness of the green teen's room. The source was the mentioned green teen, who currently had a faceful of purple hair. He did his best to get the hair out of his face and was eventually free of the violet strands. The owner of said strands was the one and only empath, who had taken up his earlier offer to share his bed for the nights he was around before his sentence.

She had scootched backwards and had her body directly against his, which would explain the hair. It also explained a certain reaction going on just below Beast Boy's waist.

"Nope, nope." the changeling muttered as he quickly put half a foot between the two of them. That was NOT a discussion he needed to have now. Or ever for that matter. Fortunately, the sleeping girl did not seem to notice the change, so he was free to go about his early, early morning as he pleased. But then again, it's not like there's much to do at one thirty in the morning.

"This is gonna get old very, very quickly." Beast Boy grumbled. Once again, he didn't feel tired enough to fall back asleep, so he carefully got off the bed and planted a gentle smack on Raven's forehead before exiting his abode. Eventually he wound up in the empty kitchen, where he proceeded to brew a cup of coffee and leave the necessary ingredients for a cup of tea.

Action wasn't exactly what the Beast Boy was expecting when he sat down with his beverage. And action was the last thing he got. The finishing of his coffee went as one would expect, and the green teen soon found himself up on the roof morphing into a Tamaranean. Just like last time he flew high enough to break through the clouds, but this time he spent a long time practicing tight turns and aerial maneuvers jet pilots could only dream about.

Transferring his forward momentum to angular momentum actually came easy to him. Probably from using similar moves but on the ground and watching Starfire do similar spins and rolls in the air. Quicker than he had anticipated he had learned to perform amazing stunts in the air. After almost half an hour of flying he switched to practicing utilizing starbolts.

A green sphere encircled his hand, which was then shot downwards into the water below. Another followed, then another, and more and more. Each one caused a splash larger than a big rock would result in, the explosive energy causing steam to rise as the water slowly heated.

"I wonder...". The green teen returned to the island, but instead of landing on the roof he set himself down by the rocks. A particularly large one suited his needs, which he used to test a theory. His right hand was once again encased in an emerald light, but this time he punched the rock with the starbolt still in his hand. A loud thud reverberated through the nightly air, but no one heard it.

As expected, the collision set off the starbolt, adding a small explosion to his punch. Beast Boy repeated the process and sent spiderweb cracks through the mighty stone until it crumbled to shards. Not much more than a minute had passed.

"Damn." the changeling mouthed at the sight. "I need to tell Star about this.". The teen in the night flew back up to the roof of the tower where he entered his home and returned to the kitchen.

A/N: So yeah, this was more of a short filler chapter, but things will begin to pick up again soon enough. Thanks to everyone who reads, f/f, and reviews! Have a safe, healthy day and see you in the next chapter.
