(A/N: Now that the big day is here, Snaptrap should have a plan that he'll be setting in motion! Let's get this chapter started and see how it goes...)
It was the morning of February 14. Valentine's Day was here at last. Those who had somebody were looking forward to seeing their Valentine. Those who didn't were looking around and hoping to get lucky. But now we should go look for someone who is lucky, like Dudley!
Dudley and his brother, Bruce, were on their way to work when Katrina contacted them.
"The Chief just received intel that Snaptrap and his henchmen are causing trouble at the florist! Kitty and I are on our way there right now!" Katrina said.
"We'll meet you there!" Bruce promised.
"'Cause we were headed there to begin with, right?" Dudley asked.
"To get flowers for our lovely ladies. But after we stop the villains, our girls can pick which flowers they want, and then we'll go to work." Bruce said.
"Granted Snaptrap doesn't destroy any of the flowers before we stop him. And if we've still got time." Dudley said.
"Plenty of time. We've got a half-hour or so before we have to start working." Bruce said, catching sight of the clock in the vehicle.
Kitty and Katrina arrived at the florist first, and Kitty beat Katrina to the door. Unfortunately for her, Snaptrap was anticipating this, as he was waiting at the door, and when Kitty threw the door open, Snaptrap shot her with the Lovey-Dovey-Kissy-Smoochy Gun!
Next thing he knew, Kitty was looking at him with a lovesick smile, and she wrapped her arms around him, asking, "Where have you been all my life?"
"I've always been here. You never noticed before?" Snaptrap asked.
"Hard to believe that I hadn't." Kitty said.
"Kitty, WHAT are you doing?!" Katrina exclaimed, shocked at the way her sister was behaving around Snaptrap!
"Getting to know the new love of my life!" Kitty replied.
"Are you freaking kidding me?! That's SNAPTRAP! He's a VILLAIN! You'd have to be out of your mind to think of pursuing a relationship with him!" Katrina shouted.
"You're out of your mind! Can't you see how handsome he is?" Kitty asked.
"Handsome?! There is nothing handsome about Snaptrap!" Katrina said.
"Hey! If she says I'm handsome, then I must be. And she is the prettiest woman I've ever seen." Snaptrap said, making Kitty blush.
At that moment, the Puppy brothers pulled up outside the florist and heard Katrina yelling. That probably wasn't a good sign.
"What's going on in there?" Bruce asked.
"No idea. Let's find out!" Dudley said, and he and Bruce got out of the car and ran inside the florist shop.
"Freeze!" Bruce yelled as he pulled out his blaster, and Ollie, Francisco and Larry froze in fear!
Dudley, on the other hand, was stunned at what he saw! If he didn't know better, Kitty was looking at a Valentine Snaptrap had given her. She looked at it, then looked up at Snaptrap with big, sparkling eyes.
"Of course I will!" she exclaimed, giving Snaptrap a big hug.
"Kitty, what are you doing?!" Dudley shouted, completely shocked.
"She's my Valentine!" Snaptrap said, returning the hug Kitty gave him.
"No, she's not! She's mine!" Dudley said.
"Not this year!" Snaptrap said, still hugging Kitty, who gazed at him adoringly. That did not sit well with Dudley, 'cause Kitty had looked at him that way whenever he told her he loved her. But if she was giving that look to Snaptrap, then that meant...
"HAS SHE FLIPPED OUT OR WHAT?!" Dudley shouted, and that caught Bruce's attention while he was apprehending Snaptrap's henchmen.
"What's wrong, Dudley?" Bruce asked after he and Katrina (who snapped out of her anger when she saw Bruce) placed the T.U.F.F. cuffs on Ollie, Francisco, and Larry.
"Kitty thinks she's in love with Snaptrap! Can you believe it?!" Dudley said.
"I don't think! I know!" Kitty said.
"That's right! She loves me now!" Snaptrap said.
"She's not supposed to! She's my girlfriend, not yours!" Dudley said.
"Not anymore!" Snaptrap said, holding Kitty muich too close, making Dudley wince.
"Let's get Kitty back to T.U.F.F. and see if Keswick knows what's gotten into her." Katrina said.
So Katrina and Bruce pried Kitty from Snaptrap, and Dudley cuffed Snaptrap. Then Dudley and Bruce drove to T.U.F.F. with a very unhappy Kitty, and Katrina took the villains to Petropolis Prison.
Snaptrap didn't care that he was locked up. What mattered was that he got Kitty to fall in love with him, and he was more than certain she'd come and bail him out later!
Back at T.U.F.F., Kitty was complaining to the Chief that Dudley, Bruce, and Katrina locked up her boyfriend.
"What are you babbling about, Kitty? Last I remember, Dudley's your boyfriend. The way you and him were kissing at the annual T.U.F.F. Christmas party last year was proof of that!" the Chief said.
"She thinks she loves Snaptrap." Bruce said.
"What?! That's insane! Keswick, check her out!" the Chief ordered the genius at T.U.F.F.
As soon as Keswick heard Kitty say that Snaptrap was the love of her life, Keswick knew what the problem was.
"Chief, do you recall that time Dudley acted like this about B-b-birdbrain?" Keswick asked.
"Yes, but Kitty's acting this way about Snaptrap, not Birdbrain." the Chief said.
"Ew, what?" Bruce asked.
"Dudley was in love with Birdbrain once before, thanks to Birdbrain shooting him with his Lovey Gun, I forget the name of it... I think Snaptrap either made one of his own, or stole it." Katrina said.
"The only thing Snaptrap has stolen is my heart!" Kitty exclaimed, and then she left the room in a huff.
"Kitty, get your mind out of the gutter and get back here!" the Chief yelled.
"No! And for your information, I'm on Cloud 9, not in the gutter!" Kitty retorted, not turning around.
"Keswick, is there an antidote for this?" Bruce asked.
"I don't know, Brucie. I don't recall him making one..." Katrina said.
"All I did to cure Dudley was have my m-m-mom talk to him. That worked." Keswick said.
"Oh no! I'm not going to let your mom talk Kitty out of a relationship! If that happens, I won't have a girlfriend anymore! Even though it seems I've already lost her to a villain." Dudley said, pain in his heart.
Meanwhile, it turns out that Kitty had left the building to go bail Snaptrap out of prison!
"Kitty!" Snaptrap exclaimed when he saw her.
"What kind of girlfriend would I be if I didn't come and get you out? I'm not going to let you spend Valentine's Day locked up." Kitty said, giving the rat a big hug, which he gladly returned.
(A/N: I hope you realize that I'm not enjoying writing for SnaptrapXKitty. Those of you who know me well enough know that I've been shipping DudleyXKitty ever since I started writing these fanfics.)
"How about getting my henchmen released, too?" Snaptrap asked.
"Anything for you, my love." Kitty replied. So she had Snaptrap's henchmen bailed out.
"Yay!" cheered Ollie, Francisco, and Larry as they exited the building and made their way back to D.O.O.M.
"So, what do you wanna do?" Snaptrap asked.
"You wanna go out for lunch? I'll pay." Kitty offered.
"Sounds good to me!" Snaptrap said.
"Great! You get to pick where we go!" Kitty said as they went out to the car.
Back at T.U.F.F., Dudley was extremely upset. This was worse than the time Kitty was engaged to Eric. Far worse, for Snaptrap was a villain. Eric was just rich and lustful. But at least Eric and Kitty had cooled down to being just friends, nothing more.
"Agents, we just received intel that Kitty bailed Snaptrap out of prison!" the Chief shouted.
"No way!" Katrina and Bruce shouted.
"Yes!" said the Chief.
"NO!" Dudley hollered.
"You can say 'no' all you want, but she did it! Now we need to find out where they're headed!" the Chief said.
"Please don't go to D.O.O.M. I'll lose her for sure if they go there!" Dudley said to himself, praying that they wouldn't go there.
A few minutes later, they found out that Kitty had just pulled into the parking lot for one of the fancier restaurants in Petropolis.
"Oh no, that's almost as bad as them going to D.O.O.M." Dudley mumbled.
"I guess that was to be expected." Katrina said.
"Okay, then. Come on, Dudley. We're going to recover your girlfriend." Bruce said.
"I don't know if I should. What if they kiss?" Dudley said.
Katrina and Bruce shuddered at the thought, but they knew they had to get Kitty back.
"What if they haven't? Besides, Snaptrap's probably saving that for later." Katrina said.
"No, Kitty probably saved him the trouble." Dudley said.
"Dudley, I think she'd wait." Bruce said.
"She wouldn't. She didn't want to keep her lips off of Eric when they got engaged." Dudley said.
"Don't remind me!" Katrina said, remembering that and hating it.
"If all they did was kiss, then hopefully they didn't go any further than that." Bruce said.
"You're right, Brucie. Kitty wouldn't have followed through with a divorce if they'd taken it further than that. So she was thinking there. Perhaps she'll wait before kissing someone like Snaptrap." Katrina said.
Dudley figured that Katrina was right, so he reluctantly got up and followed Bruce and Katrina to the T.U.F.F. Mobile, hoping against hope that Kitty and Snaptrap hadn't kissed. The thought made him want to throw up.
"Dudley, if Kitty was shot by this gun to make her love Snaptrap, it's not even real love. You and Kitty fell in love naturally, right?" Bruce said.
"I guess so..." Dudley said.
"Then what she feels for Snaptrap will not last forever." Katrina assured her partner.
Okay, there's a chance that SnaptrapXKitty will not last, so there's still hope. But if you wanna find out if Kitty leaves Snaptrap, you've gotta stay tuned.
