Aenar
The sweat dropped from his chin and hit the ground underneath him. He looked at the person in front of him and he swung his sword to the left then pulled it back to kick the legs of the man in front of him. The man...no boy hit the ground hard and you could hear he would be feeling that for the next few moon.
Aenar picked the man up and looked into his violet eyes. He laughed and took off his training helm. The boy had a scar on the right side of his face and went down to his neck. A bad scar from when Aenar went a little too hard on him.
"Brother I suppose you will want to stop training for a little while?"
"Yes...B-Brother. I had the wind knocked out of me. Dirty trick you pulled."
"Well always keep your head moving. You never know what the dogs out there could do to kill you. We have lost too many men already. I never expected us to make our holdings here this large this fast."
"Well I dont know either. Now go see your children."
Aenar took off his helm which revealed his long silver hair for the world to see. He set his gaze upon his first wife. Sylvanna. She was the first woman he married and she gave birth to his first child. Their son Aegon.
Aegon was sitting there playing with his younger brother, his little wooden training sword in hand. The two were taller than the rest of their age. Little Aegon was a spitting image of his father in almost every way. He saw the young Aegon knock the sword out of his little brother's hand and laugh.
He would be taken out of this gaze by his wife who cupped his cheek and kissed him. She tilted her head a small bit before she pulled back. She placed her hand upon his shoulder and rested her head on the other side. She looked up at him with her cerulean eyes.
"Aenar. Look at our little boy Aegon. He is already quick and smart with the mind. I think he will make a great future king. Don't you?"
"Yes my darling. I think he would make a great king. I hope he would find a dragon to ride and fight on like I have. I hope that you would allow that of him of course."
"I would love that. Our son is the best son. Not your second born who is mad or your third son from that Targaryen whore. I don't know why you married a third woman when I told you before. I am the only pussy you need."
"I did it so that we may have a better chance to put our son on the throne. But do not talk badly about my other wives or my sons. Aerys is a wonderful child whom I love very much. He needs to be brought out to the world but his mother wont allow it…"
"Then don't. It's as simple as that."
"You know it's not that easy. Plus I need one of them to marry their sister later on. I did not marry my sister and I do not regret that."
The woman let go of the man and she walked over to her little sons. She picked up the "smaller" of the two Rhaegar. The younger boy protested but he finally simmered down. He plunged his face into his mothers neck and it stayed there.
The woman looked back at Aenar and walked off to seemingly put the child to bed. The gods knew that would not be easy. Aenar looked back at the other two sons talking while he put his helm and sword back. He looked out onto the ocean and saw the liveliness of the port below and the small little dots move around.
He walked over to the smaller of the two that remained and picked him up with no protest at all. He kissed his son on the cheek. The small boy had black hair with a few small traces of white mixed into it. His little blue eyes looked up at his father with curiosity as he hugged him.
"Papa! Did you see how I beat Rhaegar? I went boom and pow!"
"Yes my son. I saw it all you will grow to be a fierce warrior and so will little Aeragon. Be sure to teach him all that you know."
"Ok papa! I will be sure to teach him everything so that we might take over the world together!"
The small boy was then distracted by the sound of a far off Dragon. It might have been one of the smaller ones that had hatched not too long ago or it might have been Ako. Ako had bonded with Aenar from a young age and they grew together.
Aerys had also bonded with a dragon but it was much like him in a way that it was very small and frail looking just like the small boy. Aenar looked out and saw the big golden dragon fly by and disappear out of sight.
Aenar would look at Aemarr his brother and he would nod. Aemarr would race by and pick up Aegon and they would disappear from sight as he was going to take the small boy to go see the dragons. It amazed Aenar how the Freehold would allow the young dragonrider out west. Maybe as a scout force but that scout force soon turned into nearly 25,000 men and 5 Valyrian families moving out. The Celtigars, Velyrions and others.
Aenar knew some dragon riders saw them all as weak but this was going to be a good new coin. Every man, woman and child knew it was going to be good too. He had taken much of the blackwater and was raising a castle near there. Crackclaw point would never submit and they would let those people rot there. The rest however was ripe to pick from. The Stormlands as they were called did not want to attack them as they were already fighting with Dorne.
The Reach was trying to overextend and take out the Stormlands but they were being held back. The Vale was in a very hard war with the Riverlands where the King of the Riverlands had won a great many battles.
Aenar had yet to move further as he wanted to live a nice life. He would have to move out further though to make great progress for the people who called him lord and king in secret. He might not want to be king but it had to be done.
He stood there for so long that the child in his arms had fallen asleep already. He was breathing softly and that was when Aenar knew he needed to take him to his mother. Aenar then set off to go give him to his mother Klarissa so he may be put to bed.
There was much to do and so little time. So much.
