"Hey, Bakugo, when's Sunny's birthday?"
Mina was waving around her new pink diary, having announced its arrival to the class and subsequently beckoned them to gather around like toddlers at storytime.
Obviously, the explosive blond was the only one who didn't give a shit enough about a damn diary to be excited about it, and instead, he remained at his desk, slumped over it.
Sunny and Denki were late, and he didn't know why. She wasn't answering her phone either and it was royally pissing him off. She had about six minutes until the bell rang and Aizawa arrived to start the lesson.
"Hah?" He only answered because he heard Sunny's name, and he turned towards the pink girl on instinct. "How the fuck should I know? I'm not her damn carer."
Mina huffed, popping her hip out, "You don't know when your girlfriend's birthday is? Call yourself a good boyfriend?"
Immediately Bakugo bristled. He was the best fucking boyfriend there was, damn it!
As if summoned by the sound of her own name, Sunny appeared with Kaminari and Midoriya in tow. Her head was hanging low, ears flat against her hair and tail nearly trailing across the floor, obviously very upset about something with a wobbling bottom lip.
Bakugo whipped his head around to Deku's seat so fast that his neck cracked, he hadn't even noticed the nerd wasn't there and he stood abruptly, sending his chair scattering back against the desk behind him. His palms were flush against his desk, smoking and popping ash against the white surface.
Grinding his teeth towards the trio, his eyes especially rounded on Izuku who immediately paled upon seeing Bakugo expression, "What the fuck-" He began, livid at Sunny being anywhere near Midoriya, but Sunny's face bobbing into his field of vision and ramming straight into his chest cut him off.
She began wailing into his shirt.
"What the fuck did you do, shit stains?" He hadn't seen Sunny so upset in weeks and that was saying something, she got upset a lot for a bad bitch, although it was usually to just get her own way. She grasped at the front of his shirt, fisting the material in her small hands and crying loudly into the fabric.
"I didn't do anything!" Kaminari objected loudly and maybe a little too quickly, throwing his hands in the air in defence. He shook his head wildly, "Not me! I didn't have a problem with her eating it!"
"Hah?"
Midoriya sighed, pinching his nose, "She dropped her sandwich in a puddle and I wouldn't let her eat it."
Bakugo pursed his lips. Shit. He'd told her just the day before she had to stop picking food up off the ground. She was totally shocked to hear that the 'five-second-rule' wasn't a real thing.
He chose to just growl at Midoriya instead, puffing away the stray hairs from Sunny's head as they came floating up to his face. Deku promptly squeaked and scuttled off to his seat.
"The fuck did I tell you about eating ground food, aye, fleabag?"
Sunny sniffed against the front of his shirt, wiping her nose on the fabric. She peered up at him with those impossibly large eyes, pupils blow so wide he could see his own grumpy expression in them. He promptly dropped it, flopping his arms over her shoulders and resting his head on hers.
"It wasn't just any s-sandwich, Suki," Her voice was muffled against his chest, nuzzling into him, "It was a breakfast sandwich, with eggs, sausage, bacon-"
"I have an apple you can have."
The loud crying started all over again.
"Hey, Sunny!" Mina's face popped up over Bakugo's shoulder. If he wasn't holding Sunny against him, he would have shunted her with his shoulder. Mina continued, "When's ya birthday, babe?"
And just like that, Sunny stopped wailing. Her head popped up from between Bakugo's pecks and she blinked up at Mina with a confused expression.
"My what?"
"Your birthday!" Mina waved her pink diary over Bakugo's head, and Sunny's eyes lit up on sight at the fuzzy pink book with a sequin star embroidered into the front.
"Pretty!" She breathed, and then chirped at it like a cat would a fat pigeon, totally forgetting about her breakfast trauma. She dropped from Bakugo, trailing towards Mina as the pink girl led her away while making little 'pspspsp' noises.
"Hey!" Bakugo grabbed for her, but Sunny just leant out the way as she toddled over towards where the other girls were gathered around a desk, giggling about the diary.
"So, when's your birthday?" Mina asked again, falling into her seat and whipping out a large, glitter pen with a kawaii kitten bouncing around on the top on a spring. Sunny's gaze fixated on that wobbling piece of plastic, pupils blowing even wider than before.
"Erm..." She began absentmindedly but trilled excitedly when Mina wiggled the pen at her. Sunny beamed at the stationary, tail fluffing up to twice its normal size behind her. Bakugo slung a heavy arm over her shoulder and glared at Mina. "I don't know, I can't remember. I'm pretty sure it's October, though."
"Hah? What do you mean you can't remember?"
When Bakugo didn't get an immediate reply, he bonked Sunny on the head with a closed fist, catching her attention from the pen.
"Huh? Oh, well, when Aizawa was applying for my new birth certificate and stuff, he let me choose my birthday-" She chirped loudly when Mina pressed the metal tip of the pen into the desk and the cat started lighting up.
"Hey!" Bakugo barked again, "Stay focused." He reached out and swiped the pen from Mina, shoving it into his trouser pocket.
Sunny immediately started watching his pocket patiently, but another bark from Bakugo made her continue.
"What was I saying? Oh, right! He let me choose, and I said I loved October because everything goes that pretty orange colour and leaves are fun to kick about. Plus, I love pumpkin spiced lattes and of course, spooky, spooky stuff! But I can't remember if it's the 30th or 31st, I wasn't really paying attention, I had just brought a twenty box of nuggets and-"
"Wait," Jiro cut her off, frowning, "You chose your own birthday?"
Sunny nodded slowly, "Of course?" She then laughed, "I haven't had a proper birthday since I was five – although I'm sure it was around wintertime then. We used to go on walks and there was always loads of puddles. So, it could have been autumn, or early spring, I suppose. I mean, I'm not really sure what year I was even born, I kind of lost perception of time for a while, but I'm either 17, 18 or maybe even 19."
Everyone was silent for a few moments after that, and Sunny turned her attention to gaze up at Bakugo lovingly. She trilled at him and smiled sweetly, her fingers grasping at the front of his shirt again and kneading softly, but he knew that she just wanted the pen he was holding hostage in his pocket.
"That's one of the saddest things I've ever heard," Yaoyorozu's voice cut through the silence.
"Is it?" Sunny looked confused.
Mina leant back in her chair and dramatically clutched her shirt over her heart, "You haven't had a birthday for over ten years?! What about presents, what about cake?!"
"My first foster family made me a mud cake one year."
"That sounds nice," Ochaco offered a weird, uncomfortable smile, "Mud cake is like chocolate, right?"
"No, it was dirt from the park down the road. They made me eat it and I was poorly for days."
Mina wheezed, dragging her fingers down her face, "Stop talking! It just gets worse!"
A tapping on Bakugo's shoulder caught his attention, and Kaminari's smug little face peered up at him, he had Sunny's tail in his hands, and he flapped it around his face as he spoke, "Hey, Bakugo, if Sunny hasn't had a birthday since she was a kid, does that mean she's still legally five? That would make you a proper pe-"
"Shut the fuck up, dunce-face, that's not how aging works." He then shoved Kaminari so hard he toppled over.
"But if I am older than you," Sunny poked Bakugo in the chest playfully, "you would be a toy-boy, right? And then that would make me a cougar."
"I thought you were a snow leopard?" Midoriya piped up, but his input earned him a shitty glare from Bakugo.
Sunny looked confused all over again, "Wait, what?"
And that's when the questions started.
All at once everyone started firing questions at Sunny, asking about her foster family, or how she kept track of time when she was 'adopted'. Bakugo watched as her face became more and more worried-looking, and she trod on his toes when she began to back up into him. Her eyes were so large, but her mouth was pressed into a thin, wobbly line as people fired words at her that she obviously wasn't understanding. Sunny struggled to understand lots of talking in busy rooms, Bakguo wasn't sure if it was because of her strange, acute hearing from her quirk, or because when people were talking over the top of one another she found it too difficult to translate but either way, right now she was panicking. Her concern could even be from how their questions were making her feel, she probably just didn't have the answers.
"Alright!" Bakugo grabbed Sunny by the tail and yanked her backwards, stepping in front of her to block her off from the rest of their classmates, "That's fucking enough! Got any more questions? Ask me!"
Immediately everyone silenced, "Yeah, that's what I thought." He grumbled, turning away and securing Sunny against him with an arm strapped across her shoulder. He led her over to her seat just as Aizawa came plodding into the classroom, but he didn't miss the chance to drop a quick kiss on top of her head between her ears before heading to his own seat.
Sunny plopped down the school steps, hand in hand with Momo as they followed Mina and Ochaco. She had her lunch tray in the other hand, and she was trying to get as far away from Bakugo as she could before he swiped it away and gave her something god-awful and healthy. She'd had a traumatic enough morning with her sandwich falling in a puddle, so she deserved this small mountain on her plate.
"Oi, Yaoyorozu!"
Bakugo's raspy shout coming from everywhere made all the girls jump, swinging their gazes left and right. Sunny found him immediately, however, and she jumped to hide behind Momo.
"Don't take my food, Suki!"
"I'm not here for you, you damn fleabag." He came marching towards them from the school field. Kirishima and a few of the other boys watched him go curiously. By the way, they were stood in place, it looked like he'd just walked away from the middle of a game of football.
"Oh..." Sunny straightened up and plucked a noodle off her plate with her fingers and dropped it into her mouth.
"I want to talk to Yaoyorozu about something."
That caught everyone by surprise, especially Momo herself who looked a little startled that Bakugo had actually called her something other than 'ponytail' for once, she hadn't even been convinced he knew her real name.
"Yes?" She asked sceptically, brows furrowed as Bakugo finished walking up to her. And then walked straight past her. He made eye contact with her the entire time before jerking his head, beckoning her to follow him.
She did, wordlessly trailing after him. Her long legs had no trouble keeping up with his strides like Sunny did. Not that Sunny was even paying attention, she was too busy picking the beansprouts out her noodles.
"I wonder what that's about?" Mina asked, watching as Bakugo led Momo away from them and out of sight around the edge of the school.
"Aren't you curious, Sunny?" Ochaco asked.
"Huh?" Sunny looked up, wiping her hand on her skirt before her fingers reached out to hold her friends' hand again. But then she realised, "Oh, where did Momo go?"
"There you are." Bakugo stomped towards Sunny, spying her across the U.A steps. She had her back to him and Kirishima, seemingly watching her own reflection intensely in the glassy side of the building.
It was finally Friday and they had just finished their last exam, and although Katsuki had told Sunny to meet him outside the classroom if she got out first, she hadn't listened. Obviously.
"Erm, Suga, what are you doing?" Kirishima followed Bakugo a little more tentatively, almost walking into the back of him when he suddenly stopped.
Then Sunny spun, and Kirishima quickly squeaked and looked away.
"Have I gained weight?" She was pouting, but more importantly, she was holding her boobs tightly.
"What?" Both Kirishima and Bakugo said in unison, although Kirishima's was more of a wheeze and a splutter whereas Bakugo just seemed a bit cheesed off.
"Have I gained weight?" Sunny repeated, still frowning and turning back to look at herself in the mirrored glass.
"W-Well, Sugawara, of course not! Y-You look—"
"Yes." Bakugo interrupted Kirishima's ramblings, "You have. We done now? I'm hungry."
Sunny turned again, still holding her boobs, "Really? Awh, man."
"He doesn't mean that, Sugawara," Kirishima waved his hands frantically, "You look great! You know, as great as my best friends' girlfriend could look!" He laughed nervously.
Sunny peered between the two of them, from Bakugo's blank and bored expression to Kirishima's nervous sweat dropping.
"I never said you didn't look all right," Bakugo huffed, "I'm just saying yes, you've gained weight."
"Bakugo!" Kirishima scolded, although the blond rounded on him in moments.
"What?" He mimicked back in the same tone, "You expecting me to lie to her, hah?"
Sunny then gasped loudly, "Were you going to lie to me, Kiribaby?"
Kirishima didn't know where to look, "I-I-I," He began defensively.
"Yeah, Kirishima," Bakugo was advancing on him now, eyes wide, "Were you going to lie to Sugawara? That's so unmanly."
Kirishima's hands flew to his hair and he started pulling at it, "I'm so confused! Suga, you're not fat, I promise!"
Sunny's eyes blew impossibly wide, "Fat?! I never said I was fat! Do you think I'm fat?!"
Kirishima could have screamed.
"Look what you've done now, Shitty-Hair! You've made the baby cry!" Bakugo exclaimed, although he seemed to be entertained by all this.
"What baby?!" Kirishima's eyes flew to the blond.
"Me, baby! I'm baby!" Sunny was waving her arms around chaotically, and then Kirishima did start screaming.
"Shut up, will you?!" Bakugo's fist came crashing down on to the top of his head before his eyes were swinging towards Sunny, "You've gained weight Sugawara because you're actually eating something other than turkey dinosaurs and half-frozen dumplings dipped in gravy!"
"I like gravy!" Sunny protested, stamping her foot.
"So do I!" Kirishima followed suit.
"Fucking hell!" Bakugo left, with Kirishima and Sugawara following soon after.
"I didn't have this before," Sunny stuck her hand up her skirt and grabbed at the flesh just under her arse, behind her thigh. "I thought you were supposed to lose weight when you stopped eating nuggies."
Kirishima's head did a 180-degree turn to look away, while Bakugo slapped at her hand.
"Because you're actually eating decent meals for once, and you're training is better, your body will change." The blond glared down at the top of Sunny's head as she started fiddling around in her top. He had set her on a strict training plan several weeks ago after he'd found her home gym. In fact, she more or less did the same as him, although swapped out more of the arm stuff for the leg stuff and on much higher weights. She actually broke a sweat now working out, which he had to explain to her it meant it was working. She complained a lot about aches and pains, although the wicked grin her mouth would split into made him wonder if it was just so he would massage her.
The dietary change didn't go down so well, not that working out did, either, so the new food plans were even worse.
She was a surprisingly fussy eater for someone who literally picked food off the floor.
It wasn't so much of a matter of her not liking things, it was more of the fact she was a stubborn bitch that if she didn't want to eat something at that moment then she wouldn't.
"But I don't want that, Suki. Can we get a takeaway?"
"No, thank you, Suki, I don't fancy that. I'm going to have some custard instead."
She drove him fucking crazy. And who fucking eats custard out the tin anyway?
But then her hand slipped into his as they walked and he totally forgot about all that.
Sunny grinned up at him, "So, what's for dinner then?"
"Curry."
"Hmmm, I love curry."
"I know."
"Oh, that's right! You're going to Bakugo's for dinner, aren't you, Sugawara?" Kirishima asked excitedly.
Sunny bobbed her head, ears flopping as she did so, "We're going to watch Les Mis, aren't we, Suki?"
"Absolutely fucking not."
"I can't wait!"
After waving Kirishima off at the station and starting a fight with a Tomcat, Bakugo finally managed to drag Sunny onto his train.
"Fucking stay still, will you? What's wrong with you? You're acting like you've never been on a damn train before."
It was busy, that was the problem, so Sunny was plastered up against Bakugo like a fly to shit, small fists gripping into the front of his shirt as she was repeatedly knocked into him.
"What are you doing anyway? Making biscuits?"
Sunny abruptly stopped her kneading against Katsuki's chest when he called her out on it, and instead, she moved to grip the collar of his blazer.
"But your boobs make me feel better."
"Don't say shit like that in public!"
Sunny squeaked when the train cart lurched and jumped, sending the person behind into her. She squished up against Katsuki even tighter, continuing her scrunching fists.
Another push and shove, and she ended up nearly strangling Bakugo with her vice-like grip. Her attention was elsewhere, head whipping back and forth with wide eyes, watching people move around her. If it wasn't for Bakugo actually being a decent height and being able to reach the handrail, she totally would have drowned in the sea of people. Amongst the dark suits and bland faces, her creamy, pale hair stuck out like a sore thumb, but she would have been swallowed up from being so small.
She held Bakugo tighter when someone shunted past to get off at the next stop, almost taking her with them when their bags got caught. She squeaked again, rubbing up against Katsuki before settling back into him like a second skin.
And then she paused, head whipping back round to meet the blonds face with large, questioning eyes when something hard prodded against her stomach.
"Is that—"
"Don't fucking talk about it." Bakugo gritted out, cheeks a little flush, "I told you to stay fucking still."
That eased her nerves a little, finding humour in Bakugo popping a boner on public transport.
Eventually, they were on the street towards Bakugo's house. Katsuki had to grab Sunny when he spotted another cat in the distance and dragged her onto the other side of the street before she could start hissing at it and throwing hands. Although a dog started barking from one of his neighbour's houses after spying Sunny through a window, so he ended up having to carry her the rest of the way to his front door while she cried loudly.
Turns out, Sunny was fucking terrified of dogs and bloody hated most cats, so no wonder she constantly asked people if they had pets at their homes.
Sunny, already overwhelmed by the train journey and then the fiasco with the dog, felt the sudden urge to hide when the Bakugo household started screaming at each other as soon as they crossed the threshold.
It was actually Ms Bakugo who shouted first, although it was only in greeting and then it was Katsuki who escalated the situation.
"What the fuck—" Bakugo fought against Sunny as she started scrambling around over his shoulder. She wiggled free seconds later, slipping clean off him to land head first on the floor before jumping to her feet and darting off to hide behind the sofa Bakugo's father happened to be sat on.
"Oi!" Katsuki barked, stomping forward, "Come out of there!" He stuck his arm through the impossibly small gap and swiped around for her.
"What happened?!" Mitsuki appeared moments later, wiping her hands down her apron.
"You fucking scared her, you old hag!" Katsuki shrieked back, still grabbing around wildly for Sunny. He brushed up against what may have been a knee or shoulder with the tips of his fingers before she squashed herself further up against the wall.
"Me?!" Ms Bakugo bellowed back, clearly furious.
"I think maybe you two should stop shouting?" Masaru offered tentatively, folding up his newspaper and placing it carefully on the coffee table.
"What?!" Both blonds cried in unison, but still, Bakugo pulled back his arm with a small tug after getting his shoulder wedged, and stuck his face in the gap instead.
"Oi..." He said, softer this time, "Come 'ere, you damn fleabag," He could just see Sunny's reflective eyes twinkling at him behind the sofa. He frowned, forehead vain popping and then, "pspspsps,"
He continued to make the stupid noise she seemed to like as those eyes floated closer, but as soon as she was in arms reach, he jerked his hand forward and grabbed her by the face and dragged her out.
"Katsuki, don't grab your girlfriend by her face!"
Sunny struggled against him for a moment, wiggling but Bakugo was quick to get in a headlock.
"Katsuki, don't put your girlfriend in a headlock!"
The blond ignored his mother and started dragging a now submissive Sunny towards his room.
"Hello, Ms and Mr Bakugo..." Sunny just managed to squeak out through a wobbly lip before she was hauled out of sight and up the stairs.
As soon as Katsuki has planted Sunny on his bed and secured her down with two large hands gripping her shoulders, he glared at her. Although, when he spoke his voice was as soft as before, "What the fuck's up with you?"
Sunny blinked up at him, "What do you mean?" Her eyes shifted from his face to dart around the room, and Bakugo didn't fail to notice how her fingers were scrunching and unscrunching into his bedsheets.
"Why are you being so weird all of a sudden? You're all jumpy."
Sunny squeaked at him, and he rolled his eyes. He made a move to step back, arms dropping back to his side, but Sunny quickly launched herself at him, securing her arms tightly around his small waist.
"Oh, so you're freaking out, huh?" He grumbled when she started shoving her face up his top to hide. Her cheek pressed against his abs was surprisingly chilly and it made his muscles tense. One of her ears popped out the gap between his shirt buttons and he quickly stuck his finger in it. "We could have got a later train. Tell me next time, dumbass. I can't read your mind. If you don't like something, just tell me."
She squeaked again, and he grabbed his own collar to tug it open and look down his shirt at her. "You're an idiot. Also, lots of people don't like dogs, so don't worry about that. I'll protect you from the scary ones."
Sunny's face turned upwards, her chin resting against his stomach, "Yeah?"
"Obviously, you dumb fuck."
She grinned at him then, and he could feel the rumble of a purr emit from her chest. Her hands started kneading away at his backside, where he hadn't even realised she'd settled them. It made him roll his eyes.
"Are there any animals you do like?" He asked her.
"I like fish and birds," She paused for a moment, her pawing hands faltering for a brief second, and then she grinned again, "and I like you."
He promptly bonked her on the head and tugged off his shirt to quickly wrap it around her.
"Suki!" She squealed, struggling against the fabric and trying not to rip it. When she finally managed to get it off, she rounded on Bakugo with a large pout. He was pulling on a clean t-shirt, much to her dismay. "Stay naaaaakey, pleeeeeease~"
"Fuck off."
Sunny huffed, but then perked up in confusion when Bakugo started shoving clothes into a backpack.
"What are you doing?" She asked, hands already pawing at the sheets again, "Are you going somewhere?"
"I'm staying at yours this weekend."
Sunny blinked, ears bobbing, "Oh?"
"Yeah," He carded a hand through his hair before turning towards his desk, "we will go back to yours after dinner."
"Why?"
"Because we have the practical exam on Monday, and I want to use your gym to train."
Sunny's hands stopped their excited kneading into the bedsheets, "Oh..." She responded sadly, ears dropping.
Bakugo turned away from her fully before muttering, "And I really need a good night's sleep."
"What do you mean?" Sunny cocked her head to the side.
The blond visibly shivered, "I don't sleep very well, but with you I do."
Sunny's kneading picked back up again, her sharp nails catching in the duvet and she shook her hand to get it out, "But you go to bed so early, baby."
"Yeah," Katsuki ducked his head into his shoulders, "So I might actually get some sleep around all the hours I spend awake."
"Do you get nightmares?"
Bakugo didn't respond, just continued to busy himself with some rubber shavings on his otherwise pristine desk.
"I get nightmares sometimes," Sunny continued almost absentmindedly, still plucking at the duvet, "but then I wake up, and everything's okay again," She chirped brightly, but her face fell when Katsuki just scoffed. "If you protect me from big, scary dogs, I'll protect you from bad dreams, yeah?"
Bakugo glanced over his shoulder, rolling those pretty red eyes at her and scoffing again, although this time it was in humour.
"Whatever," He ducked again to hide his smile, but Sunny caught it, "You're an idiot. You're scared of dogs but not of Aizawa?"
Sunny just laughed, "I'm scared of most things, but attacking them makes them go away."
"That's shitty logic."
"Is it?"
"Being violent isn't always the answer, fleabag."
Sunny stared hard at the back of Bakugo's head as he paused and dropped his shoulders.
"Yeah," He scoffed, "I fucking said that."
"Pot kettle black, Katsuki!"
"Who the fuck are you calling a kettle?!"
Sunny pointed an accusing finger at the blond when he turned to advance towards her, stopping him dead in his tracks.
"If you spent as much time punching things that scared you instead of your classmates, you'd be a lot happier."
"Shut up."
"Either way," Sunny's hard expression turned playful, "if you need me to cuddle the nightmares out of you, I'll happily take the job, my snuggly little bun-bun monster."
"I take it all back and I hate you."
When Sunny started complaining she was hungry, Bakugo knew she was feeling better, and when he went to the bathroom for all of twenty-seconds, he came back to an empty bedroom.
"For fuck sake, Sugawara!"
Sunny was in the kitchen with his parents, chatting away happily to them when the blond stomped down the stairs.
"Dinner's ready, Suki!" She exclaimed happily when she saw him, eyes lit up like jack-o-lanterns.
"I made a special portion for you, Sunny, as Katsuki told me you don't like spicy food." Mitsuki was smiling into the rice cooker as she fluffed up the white grains.
Sunny chirped excitedly but was promptly cut off with Bakugo pulling at her tail.
"She finds pepper spicy," He muttered, steering Sunny into a seat and forcing her to sit down.
"It smells amazing!" She grinned, "What is it?"
"It's Katsu Curry, dear," Mitsuki replied and immediately Sunny's eyes flew to Katsuki who was seating himself across from her.
"Katsu..." She began.
"Not me, you idiot. Just Katsu, not Katsuki."
Sunny then leant in to whisper, "Were you named after a curry?"
"Fucking hell. No, they're completely different things, you absolute moron."
"Katsuki!" Bakugo's mother was quick to slap him upside the head so hard it made Sunny's eyes pop, "Don't call your girlfriend a moron."
"She compared me to a fucking curry!"
Mitsuki moved away again, and Bakugo continued to glare at the back of her head before turning back to Sunny. He visibly jumped upon finding those bright orange hues unblinkingly fixated onto him.
"Are you okay?" She whispered, gaze floating somewhere over the top of his head where his mother had just smacked him.
"Hah?" He didn't respond, but Mitsuki returned a few moments later with bowls for them both.
Bakugo took one look at Sunny glance between her chopsticks and the saucy bowl and sighed heavily, wordlessly getting up from his seat.
"Everything alright, son?" Masaru asked as he took his own seat at the head of the table, but Katsuki ignored him and continued rummaging around in the cutlery draw.
He practically threw the spoon he'd found at Sunny's head, but she was quick to catch it with a grin.
"She can't eat saucy things with chopsticks," He muttered to his parents as their questioning gaze fell onto him. In fact, Sunny wasn't very good at using chopsticks full stop. She was so cack-handed it was almost impressive. She was able to backflip across a telephone line, but couldn't manage chopsticks even if her life depended on it.
Bakugo smirked around his own mouthful of food, watching as Sunny's face lit up and start jabbering away to his parents.
What a moron.
I can't believe this has taken me over a month to update! I'm sooooo sorry! Uni has been mental and overwhelming, but everything is settling again now so hopefully this sort of delay won't happen again!
I haven't abandoned this story! Things are just crazy atm
Thank you for everyone who left such kind words on the last chapter. I'm so lucky to have such wonderful readers xxxxxxxxxx
Also re smut, I was going to do smut in this chapter but it got to 5k words and I was like hmmm that's long enough, and there's ready quite a few breaks and I hate breaking up chapters. BUT because lots of people like it and some people weren't fussed, but a few people mentioned they didn't want it taking away from the plot SO smutty chapters will be longer chapters. Usually my chapts are between 2.5-4k words, so I will still continue to do that PLUS then smut. So it doesn't take away from the chapter, but as someone mentioned, intimacy is something quite important and fundamental to their relationship, because it means they can be vulnerable. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed!
Practical exams next chapt wweeeeee
