Epilogue

Shortly after starting to walk towards the library's exit, Talia started yelling at me to slow down. Her voice sounded different so I turned to look at her. I don't know why but she had somehow reverted to a child and was barely holding her armor up. After a few minutes of guessing, we determined that it was likely a result of crossing worlds making her start back at level 1 and that it reversed the aging she did when leveling up back in her world.

On our way to find Hajime we ran into Tio, who didn't have the best reaction to seeing us all wearing dragon-skin coats and Talia without anything that fit. One brief summery later, she was leading the way to Hajime.

After reaching Hajime I explained everything that happened. He seemed to be primarily interested in how there are at least five worlds that he had never been to and the way crossing between them affects a person's level. I also gave him the various items that I had collected in my treasure trove specifically so that Hajime could study them. These items included but were not limited to samples of most metals and materials unique to that world, the replica legendary weapon, a penguin kigurumi, and the dragon skull. I could feel Tio glaring daggers at me for giving Hajime something else to research.

With the explanation over, Hajime created some accessories with Language Comprehension so my party could talk to people that didn't have that skill. Then Therese started to freak out upon seeing the accessories that Hajime could make with such ease. Tio made the mistake of showing her an example of something that Hajime actually put effort into and Therese officially converted from worshiping me to worshiping Hajime. It was actually something of a relief knowing that she wouldn't be hounding me anymore. Hajime wasn't too happy about it though, he actually used a few of his special bullets that reverse the wound they make on her before realizing that she wouldn't be deterred that way. I would later learn that he dealt with her by making her one of his battle maids, but I still think he must have used the Neuralyzer New to reign in the crazy. He also transmuted Talia's clothes and armor so it fit her new size.

We then headed to the Haulia village in the Haltina woods. Introductions were a bit awkward as it appeared as if I returned from a mission from Hajime with two little girls and an albino rabbit-man. The fact that Emily was in the village at the time also complicated things as she tried to berate me for turning into a lolicon. Lana appeared a minute later and gave the three of them a very serious look when she asked what our relationship was. Talia and Blake both admitted to wanting to join my harem, to which Emily reacted as expected. Seb said that he was indebted to me and wished only to assist me in any way he could. I was just grateful that none of them mentioned the whole slaves thing, because that was something I was going to have to explain very carefully.

It didn't take long for Seb to be accepted as part of the Haulia. He adapted to the chunniness quickly and the training I gave him stuck, even if he had to basically start over in terms of strength. The fact that he was still able to use his ice magic and had the mana to activate Tortus magic made him one of the tribes most versatile fighters. He also started acting as my butler at Lana's request. He was also able to explain the slave crest, which didn't work in a world without status magic, in a way that didn't make Lana mad at me for buying slaves.

Talia spent a week of intense training and monster hunting in an attempt to raise her level and grow up. Her level went up but her age did not. I guess whatever it was that caused it in that world didn't work here. Over time it became apparent that her mind was changing to match her physical age as well. She still retained all of her experiences, it's just that her thought process became more like a child, which then became that of a child of the Haulia tribe. After recognizing that her form of swordsmanship didn't work as well with the Haulia fighting style as she thought, she ended up joining the Yaegashi Dojo and learned to master both sides of their style. She was also the only one to admit to Shizuku that the reverse side of the Yaegashi style was ninja. It is also important to note that Shizuku was ecstatic about someone as cute as young Talia existing, but mortified by how intense she was. After mastering the Yaegashi style and returning to the Haulia tribe they tried to extend her name, only to find out that Talia was just a shorter version of her actual name and they had to think of something for Raphtalia instead. No one ever thought to tell her that Yue could use magic to change her age, or those that did chose not to. Personally I didn't want to take away her second chance at a childhood after she lost her first.

It turned out that crossing between worlds had an even stranger effect on Blake than it did on Talia. She could still turn into a bird, but it was a chick and we couldn't identify the species. She also gained the ability to user her wings to fly. I eventually learned that she no longer had any desire to pull carriages, but had fallen in love with motorcycles after seeing Shea riding Steiff. Her dislike of dragons also seemed to have vanished. She ended up with a long Haulia name that included "shadow feather".

It was some time later that Hajime claimed to have figured out how to travel to worlds not connected by the world tree, but the results of that undertaking is a story for another time.

As for those left in Raphtalia's world:

The phoenix didn't see Itsuki as a threat and didn't attack him. (They won't kill heroes that aren't capable and trying to stop them) He was taken into custody when soldiers were investigating the area where it had been sealed.

L'Arc and Glass had no interest in spending any more time with Motoyasu and the queen, so they left to gather for ingredients for Soul Healing Water in the time they had before the wave would summon them back to their world.

Motoyasu used his portal skill to get the queen, his party, Ren, and the survivors of the army back to Melromarc , but the capitol had been reduced to a pile of rubble by the Spirit Tortoise. It took some time for them to make contact with the other countries and it seemed that every major power had been effectively destroyed. Not too long after that Takt (who had already taken Itsuki's bow) came, stole their weapons, freed Malty, and basically took over what was left of the world. Motoyasu's party, minus Freon, joined Takt's harem.

Takt Wins.

(New Reprise says that Takt was partying on an island when the Spirit Tortoise woke up, so he was safe. He might have tried to kill the Phoenix, but there were two that needed to be killed simultaneously or the other would explode and respawn both. Then they would go in different directions to cover more ground. Of course he wouldn't asked his OP harem to kill one for him.)
