Later that afternoon...

With Sapphire and Amber...

The two were sitting at the town's bowling alley. Both girls were sitting there, waiting for Candy and Zack to finally arrive at the building, since Sapphire called them moments ago, saying that she and Amber will be there. So that really leaves them to wait in that building alone until their friends get there.

So Sapphire was sitting on one of the chairs near one of the bowling lanes, as Amber was standing by one of the bowling ball holders, looking out to the front door. She knew Candy and Zack were going to be a little late, so she decided to go see if there's anything to know before she tries to get Zack as her boyfriend. She went over to Sapphire, sitting down next to her.

"Still no sign of Candy or Zack." Amber said. "They should be here by now, right?" The party girl Amber was sitting next to nodded her head. "Anyways, before they come down here, you mind how to play bowling? I've never actually played this game before."

"Really?" Sapphire asked. Amber shook her head. "Well...it's a totally simple game. Like, all you have to do is pick up a ball, and roll it as fast as you can towards the bowling pins."

"Oh, then that sounds simple enough."

"Like, totally."

Sapphire turns her head towards the front door, wondering if her friends were here or not. By the looks of it, it doesn't seem like they are yet. It seems like it will be a couple more minutes or so before they finally get here. Hopefully for them, it won't be any longer.

The two were sitting there silently to themselves, still waiting. Amber chuckles a bit, before turning her head towards the party girl sitting next to her, a little curious about something. She spoke.

"So...I forgotten to ask this back when I was talking to you about this, but..." Amber started off saying, nearly giggling at those words, as Sapphire turned her head towards the girl Candy was friends with. "...I don't think I ever asked how you and Candy would feel about me and Zack dating. I already know you seem pretty cool with me and him dating, but what about Candy?" Sapphire pats Amber on the back.

"I'm like, totally sure that Candy would be totally okay with you and Zack dating." Sapphire said. "Besides, both me and her were hoping that that guy gets a girlfriend one of these days." Amber nods her head.

"Alright. That's good to hear. Thanks, Sapphire."

"Your welcome." Sapphire looks back at the door, standing up in the process. "I have faith in you and him being a good couple, and if you like, have any questions on how to be a good couple, you can talk to me about that." Amber nods her head, as Sapphire points towards the door. "Their here now."

Candy and Zack came walking over to the two girls. "Hey guys. I didn't expect you guys to be here so quick." Candy said, as Sapphire went up to her to hug her. Zack stood there, looking at the couple hug, before finally being able to say something.

"So should we collect some shoes and come back here?" Zack asked the two girls here. The couple stopped hugging, before Sapphire nodded her head.

"Yeah. Like, totally." Sapphire said, before looking over to Amber. "Come on, Amber."

"Right behind you guys." She said, standing up from the chair she was sitting on.

The four of them started to make their way to the front counter to collect themselves their shoes and some bowling balls. Candy and Zack led the way, as Sapphire and Amber stayed walking behind them. They decided to keep themselves a distance from the two, since the two hadn't finished their conversation just yet. They stood behind, allowing Zack and Candy to collect their things first, continuing their conversation.

"So...listen, during the whole time that me, you, Zack, and Candy are playing, you promise to try to tell me things that would help me get confidence in trying to get Zack as my boyfriend?" Amber asked. Sapphire gave her a thumbs up, nodding her head.

"You bet." Sapphire said. "I'll take one lane, along with my girlfriend...while you and Zack get the other. If we're lucky that Zack and Candy go at the same time, then I'll give you some more advice along the way." Amber nods her head at that plan.

"That seems to be a good idea, Sapphire." Amber then rubs her chin, a little curious about something. "...So, any advise right now, before we play this game, I mean?"

Sapphire held up a finger, opening her mouth to speak, only to stop when she heard Candy's voice up ahead. "Yo Saph, Amb! You guys coming over here and getting the bowling balls and bowling shoes?" Candy shouts near the counter to collect those two things. The party girl turns her head towards her girlfriend, before shouting something back.

"Yeah, sweetheart! We're on our way!" Sapphire said, before turning her head back to Amber. "Why don't we talk over by the lanes, alright?"

"Yeah. I totally agree." The two girls went over to the counter to collect their things.

Right around that time, at the SPA Agency, things were pretty much not good at all. Not for Vance, not for Eleanor, not even for Katie and Annie, who were brought in after the accident that had occurred earlier that morning. Usual days were just plain and simple, but today felt pretty gloomy.

Inside of the hallway that leads to a couple of offices, Katie was sitting down in one of the chairs. Annie was inside Agent Walker's office at the moment, talking to the lead agent about what had occurred, and what had happened to Pablo in the process. Vance and Eleanor were also with Annie and Walker as well...or just Eleanor, as Vance was standing near the door, not paying attention to the conversation in the room right now. He was by the door, staring at his cousin.

The tomboy was in tears at this point. She was already having probably the worst week that she possibly could, trying to stay optimistic for Crystal to be a good person failed on her...Pinky was now in the hospital...and now she was in trouble with the SPA Agency. She could only imagine that she was going to end up behind bars after this day is done.

At this point, she had no idea why she is hoping that things will get better for her and her friends. With everything that has been happening, it seems like it'll never get better for her, let alone her friends. Doesn't help that all of this, landed her in trouble with the SPA Agents.

Katie kept her elbows on her knees, and her hands on her eyes, as tears were streaming down them. Vance walked over to his cousin, face clearly disappointed in what had happened. The agent crossed his arms, looking at her.

"So what the hell happened out there?" Vance asked. Katie could only hear disappointment in her cousin's voice, as well as a hint of sadness and grief in it.

Katie lowered her arms, looking up at her cousin. Vance was a little heartbroken, seeing his cousin like this. To him, Katie was always just upbeat, cool, calm, and a bit snarky at times...never this. The tomboy wipes the tears from her eyes, trying to keep her cool as she spoke to him about what had happened to Pablo.

"It...it all happened so fast, Vance..." Katie said, softly. "...I'm so sorry..."

"Just tell me what happened, Kate..." Vance said. "Because since THIS happened, not only do I have to tell Agent Walker this, but...by God, your dad is going to know about this...and even worse, Ginny..." Katie frowned, looking down, as Vance continued. "Pablo is Ginny's best friend, and she is sure as hell NOT going to be happy when she hears one of the people who was in the car who injured him...is you..."

"Vance...I feel like shit just remembering this, please...I'm sorry..." Vance stood there, before sitting down in the chair behind him.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't be too harsh about this, but...Katie, this is the first time I...ever seen one of my family members in a situation like this...and..." Vance looks down, almost close to tears as well. "...Believe me...I'm taking this extremely hard too..." He just stared at her, sounding as sincere as he could to his cousin. "Please, just tell me what happened, Katie."

The tomboy shook her head, before holding the side of her head. "...Well, the only thing that happened this morning was that Pinky was in the hospital for stress that she was having lately, nearly collapsing because of it." After Katie said that first part, Vance's eyes widened in shock. "...She's okay, thankfully...but I only went to visit her because...Crystal...indirectly landed her in there..." Vance blinked a couple times, as Katie continued to talk. "...She's gone from Simport right now, so...in hindsight, I guess that's good for me...and Pinky...because the wedding isn't going to happen anymore..."

Hearing that Crystal left shocked Vance. He knew the truth about what had happened between Crystal and Winter, and now one of them has left town. Apart of him felt like she knew what she did and didn't want to face the reality of remembering that, but another part of her felt like he should just stand up, run out those doors, and get Crystal back to Simport immediately. He shook his head, before Katie continued to explain what happened.

"...Then I called Annie, she picked me up, and...we only talked to each other..." Katie said. "...Then...I don't know why Pablo ignored the green light, but...he came driving straight down the crosswalk, while...Annie was looking at me...and...he was hit..." Tears flooded Katie's eyes, as she leaned forward. "...I don't know if he's even alive or not..."

"I don't know either, Katie...but..." Vance started off saying, before he heard somebody walking into the hallway.

"Vance, we just got a call from Jenny at the hospital." Ian said, as he and Amelia came walking into the hallway. Vance stood up, looking over to the genius.

"What happened, Ian?"

"Well...she said that there's good news, and bad news in this situation..." He took a deep breath, before blinking a couple times. "...Should I start with the good news first, just to reassure Katie?" Vance looks over to his cousin, before nodding at Ian's question.

"Go right ahead."

"Well, despite what happened..." Ian claps his hands together, before looking at the agent in front of him. "...Pablo is alive." Vance blinked a couple times, before nodding his head.

"Oh, well then...that's alright, but...what's the bad news?" Amelia blinked a couple times, before stepping forward.

"...Unfortunately, the collision has severely placed Pablo unconscious. There's plenty of discovered broken bones..." Amelia said, before biting her lip. She, with a worried expression, said the words that was pretty hard for Katie and Vance to hear. "...None of the doctors know when he is going to wake up from it. However, if he doesn't wake up from it...then safe to say..." She looks over to Katie, feeling terrible for her in this situation. "...He could die..."

Katie felt her heart sink hearing that being said. One accident on this day, and it almost resulted in somebody dying. She just sat there with horror on her face, tears filling up her eyes, as she was just staring off into space. She was scared with what's going to end up happening later on after all of this has happened.

"Should we leave her alone?" Ian asked. "Kathrine's clearly worried about all of this."

"I know." Vance said, nodding his head. "I'll stay with her. Since I'm the only person who's one of her family members around here, I feel like I need to stay near her at all costs." He sighed. "...I don't think Katie's ever been in trouble like this before, so I feel like...I need to be near her right now." Ian nods his head.

"Alright." Ian looks over to Katie, before sighing. "I hope things turn out for the better for her."

"Well...knowing all that I was told by her..." Vance took a deep breath. "...I sure damn hope so..."
